So earlier, @valentinbelleyh505 asked me for a Timekeeper/Black Pearl kid. It was my most recent ask so it’d probably be a few weeks before I got to it, but my brain started thinking of ideas for it already. I came up with Primordial Sea Cookie here, but in my head she was too much like a fusion of the two instead of a fankid, so I just thought “eh, make her a fusion”. But then as my brain was developing her more, and she was less a fusion, but she wasn’t so much a fankid, so I decided to make Primordial Sea her own character

Funny enough, I ended up basing her design mostly on Black Pearl and Longan. Her fish half is supposed to be based on a coelacanth, since they’re like the longest surviving fish species or something (or are they the longest lived? I don’t remember). I wanted her hair to fade to white as a way to represent time turning back so far into nothingness, which would probably be white, since that’s the absence of color. It’s supposed to be like, floating and constantly flowing, sort of like Moonlight’s hair

I feel like her design looks too plain, but that’s probably because I used relatively neutral tones, given she’s supposed to be ancient. Not an Ancient Cookie, she’s a Legendary, but I mean she’s really old

Oh wait I remember, her dress was supposed to fade to transparent! Ah well, I can maybe fix that at some point

But anyways, on to Primordial Sea herself. So her whole thing is that she wants to return the world to back when it was just the seas, and she has the power to do so. I wasn’t sure if it would be via flooding the world, or turning back time, but I think I’m going the time angle. Basically she’d be reversing the time in all of the world. Sort of like Made in Heaven in Jojo part 6, but in reverse (I’ve only read the manga, so I don’t know what it looks like in the anime). But the Cookies would all stay the same, only the world around them, and maybe the animals? I don’t know, but the Cookies need to stay unaffected so that the story can happen and Primordial Sea can be stopped. I imagine in the levels, you’d see the time being reversed, like we’re in ruins and they’re turning pristine, then all disappearing as it’s reverting to before it was built.

Maybe I can still use Primordial Sea as a basis for the fankid, but it’d be like, a possible alternate future for them to turn into Primordial Sea.

But yeah, I think that’s about it for her. Hope you like her!

I know the reason why she did it wasn’t for an interview anymore and was really just so he would confess to being Superman, but I thought the idea of her doing this to finally get an interview would work as well, because she was pretty desperate for that.

I am once again going down the rabbit hole of trying to figure out the ages of the Gallifrey characters

#idk why my brain gets so caught up on this but it does #I’m also talking like start of gallifrey because I’m not getting into all that for them now #what bothers me the most is that we’ve got basically nothing on Narvin #I can’t remember for sure but I don’t even think we know what regeneration he’s on #I don’t think it would be hard to assume his first but also it could not be #like for brax we know he’s older than the doctor so that puts him at at least 1000 #and romana is around 600 years younger than the doctor so she’d be around 400 #and then I’m going with 50 ish for leela because we don’t know her actual age so I’m using Louise jamesons age plus the time she spent #married to andred #also with romana that’s assuming that her and the doctor experienced the same amount of time in between them traveling together and the #start of gallifrey #I guess that could also count for brax too but whatever #for narvin what we’ve got is that he was above the rank of a junior agent under vansell during the time of the fourth doctor #(at least probably)#so we can make the assumption that he wasn’t fresh out of the academy/cia training #which makes me inclined to say that he’s older than romana #but that’s really all I’ve got on him #doctor who #gallifrey #romana #irving braxiatel #narvin #leela #clearly this is a subject I am normal about #if anyone else makes it this far in my rant and has any insights I’d love to hear them

Hey in the events of an Avatar AU, do you guys think Adaine would be a waterbender (ice, frost, blue theme) or a lightening speciality fire bender? (Witch bolt/lightning bolt reminiscent, only element to conjure bending material out of thin air which is like magic, fire could be blue)

i know i’m a broken record but the amount of relief i feel seeing her act like this and the fact she has the energy to “misbehave” is indescribable

#what i’m hoping is #the steroids are doing sort of what the vet hoped they’d do #before they settled on cancer and thought it might be autoimmune #like as in they’re doing something for her platelet count #rather than it just being superficial energy from the pain meds #(WHICH to be clear i’d still be grateful for!)#because that might mean she has more actual time #like i’m not getting my hopes up BUT #like the first few days on her meds she was still showing pain signals #and this improvement has been gradual #so to me that seems like SOME symptom might actually be addressed #bcus if it was just the pain surely she’d have had the energy boost as soon as she started those

I honestly wonder if part of Conchata’s favouritism for Gabriel was influenced in small part by the implication that George openly favoured Miguel as a child. Like it was to the point where he didn’t even greet Gabriel in that one flashback, and never mentions Gabriel when he sees Miguel again as an adult. George’s favouritism was opportunism and ego by association, sure, but like. given Conchata’s resentment of Miguel being so deeply linked to the men he’s tied to (both nominally and genetically) I wouldn’t be surprised if he got tainted by association. Again.

#so much of her favouritism for Gabriel is rooted in what he’s not #he’s not like her (and therefore not like Miguel) and so he was always easy to love #and he’s made himself easier still by never showing her any side she’d be displeased w #I think she does genuinely love that he’s gentle and sweet sure #but there’s a part of her that thinks him weak #that has never stopped resenting the fact she suffered at the hands of abusive men (which is her right) and then foists that off onto them #(NOT HER RIGHT) a part of her thinks Gabriel weak for getting bludgeoned by cops and it’s soooooo #GOD Conchata they should never have had to learn to fight #YOU shouldn’t have had to learn that #tunes talks 2099
