So far I think Niffy and Baxter is the only ship I like and care about. And it hasn't even happened yet :{

I like Charlie and Vagatha since they're already an established thing, but other ships I don't really care or even dislike and don't wan't time wasted on it when more interesting things are happening.

Vox and Alastair is funny - I want to see their backstory, but don't wan't to see drama drag on more than necessary.

Alastor and Lucifer - I think fan art is cute, but don't really care about their rivalry or possible relationship.

Pentious and Cherri is alright, but was kind of thrown in haphazardly.

I just flat out don't care about Angel and Husk.

I don't care about Vox and Val. I think Val in general shouldn't exist and has too much importance thrown his way for a nothing character.

Story:

Really, Dandelion didn't know what happened when she was in that basement. Once Tessa and Jay put her down there, she only started remembering things once she was let out.

Eartheater had said that he was simply trying to fulfill his mission, the one he had been on before he so tragically was killed.

But Dandelion knew something was up. It smelled weird in the basement, but Eartheater wouldn't let her look around.

Even before she had been found in that scrapyard by Tessa, Eartheater still wouldn't tell her anything!

She didn't realize anything truly horrid was happening until it was much too late.

She fought her way out of Eartheater's control and saw the body of the cat who had taken her in all those moons ago lying in front of her, still warm.

She hadn't realized until that moment how red blood was, and she finally realized that this is what Eartheater had been doing all this time.

The hisses and yowls of her siblings faded into darkness as Eartheater wrestled control of her body back.

When I was a kid my family pretended to get raptured so I would think I was left behind on earth while they all went to heaven.

I was like 8 years old and my sister and mom had gotten really into the Left Behind novels (bible fan fic about the rapture). In the books when the rapture happened the clothes that people were wearing when they got raptured were left behind in neatly folded piles.

One day when I was getting home from school my family decided that they would leave piles of neatly folded clothes around the house, and then hide in the basement.

The intended effect was that I would get home and see the clothes then, think that my family had been raptured and that I wasn’t good enough to get into heaven… or something?

The problem was that I had never read these books, and didn’t really think about the rapture very often. There was no reason that I would see some laundry on the floor and think “The rapture happened and I’ve been abandoned by God! I’ll never see my family again!! Oh nooo!!!!”

I just sat down and watched cartoons and eventually my family got bored and revealed that they were all hiding in the basement.

It’s a good thing I didn’t understand the joke, otherwise that shit would have been traumatic.
