I highly recommend TransRural Lives if you want to see older queer folk living out in the counties. There's a narrative that trans people are new and only live in large metropolitan cities and TransRural Lives is a direct counter to that. I'm from a very rural area so it's really wonderful to see it documented in some form.

I’m currently sitting on the floor of the emergency vet clinic absorbing the fact that they’ve informed me that my dog has lymphoma. They said it is treatable but costly; to me, this dog is worth fighting for.
