omg lee i saw your ask while i was in bed and i've been thinking about it all morning so this is gonna be LONG (and i will absolutely be taking creative liberties as i see fit because this is MY WORLD)

first of all as i reflect i'm realizing that pierre and valentino have quite a few similarities - love to indulge in conspiracy theories of their own creation, VERY candid about their sex lives while simultaneously being catholic af, february aquariuses, obsessed with a multilingual brown-eyed freak (affectionate) who pulls off CRAZY moves on the track and is hated by entire countries because of it...that's kinda wild! (also, besides the sex life candor/lovin' jesus combo all of these things describe ME???...and i was actually raised catholic too lmao)

anyway despite all of these similarities i feel like what really draws pierre to valentino is how open valentino is about his obsession (because even nico rosberg was never doing all of that...close but not quite). and pierre's like "wow he's just like me!" without realizing that is NOT a good thing pierre. and they're bonding over the psychological mind games that were inflicted upon them. pierre's like "finally someone who understands me".

cut to pierre attending a motogp race and meeting marc for the first time and being like WOW everything about marc is incredible and now i'm really confused. and he's venting to fabio about it like "wow marc's big brown eyes...and his laugh...and the way he speaks spanish AND italian...and the way he moves on track...wish he was taller though" and fabio's like "GIRL first of all i am well aware of how amazing marc is...i have eyes. also pierre...literally everything you just pointed out in marc also perfectly describes esteban."

and pierre's initially reluctant because duh of course he is. and he's like "fabio what are you talking about. first charles and now YOU?". and fabio and tom maubant are both just looking at pierre like GIRL (in french ofc). and after some back and forth staring pierre's like...ah fuck they're right. he phones charles trackside to let him know about his new revelation and charles' like "...pierre i've known this for years this is not a new revelation by any means"

(also i feel like when pierre meets marc he's like "wait marc's like...closer to my age? how would marc have been idolizing valentino if we're all the same age? wait HOW old is valentino?"...because even pierre's drawing the line at years-long grudge holding when there's an age gap "because at least me and esteban actually grew up together. why was valentino sparring with a child?")

next time pierre and valentino meet pierre's nervous because he's really grown to love his bonding sessions with valentino (despite them being based on shared delusion) and finally feeling REALLY understood and he doesn't want that to stop and all of this anguish is SO visible on pierre's face and valentino's like "uhhh...are you good?" to which pierre immediately blurts out how he realized his suppressed feelings for esteban after meeting marc and seeing how amazing he is and "valentino i hope you're not mad at me!". and valentino's like "...you thought i'd be mad at you succumbing to marc's charm...lmao bitch me too! now we just have one more thing to talk about!".

and somehow (because i said so) this turns into pierre and valentino working together to win back the loves of their lives...and even though it shouldn't work it totally does (again because i said so). endgame pierresteban and rosquez.

This turned a kinda vent-ish and it does convey my childhood trauma from a missing parent and how it relates to the song/Via, so ya might want to skip this one if you’d rather not see that.

I relate to her so hard. So many lyrics are ones I can connect to my own experiences.

“I’ll remember what you said/or was it just another lie” - my father has a serious lying issue, he told me so much back then and during a period where I really trusted him… and yet probably 3/4 or even more just wasn’t freaking true. I can’t even tell now.

“Or are you just another ghost” - he’s ghosted our whole family for a solid 6 months now. No child support, no check ins, no visitation. It was so sudden too, like we were supposed to come over one weekend and then he was just… gone. (Sounds kinda like Via considering Stolas just suddenly decided to dip with no warning and leave everything behind, leave his daughter to suffer)

“If you thought that I’d take it you were wrong” (referring to her forgiving Stolas) - I’m never forgiving this man. I barely even see him as a father anymore. Both Via and I are so much better off without them.

“I will be ok/though ill never be the same” - ties into the last one, i am better off without him though obviously nothing will ever be the same

And that’s just a few of the big ones. So yeah, I relate to her. And that means I can say for sure that this episode would’ve broke me if I was still a Helluva fan.

I joined the critical community due to Tumblr, as I browsed the tag for a bit to see why some people disliked the show. At first I was defensive, then I understood some points, and then I realized I agreed with so much of it. This was a little after Apology Tour.

I think if I hadn’t joined tumblr then I would’ve continued being a Viv supporter and major hellaverse fan through GhostFuckers and Mastermind, especially Mastermind. But this? The way Via talks about Stolas (the character I used to love and support) like my own father, the way they show “gay cheating is ok kids!!! Especially if the ex-wife is a bitch!!”, it all would’ve made me start to wake up and realize how screwed up this show is. So if you’re a fan or ex-fan that became even a little critical today, welcome! We’re glad to have ya here :D

Anyway, Stolas is an absolute piece of shit and one of the worst hellaverse fathers. And in a universe where every freaking character has daddy issues, that’s an achievement. This whole thing just made me want to beat him up more.

As for the song and Via, I’m gonna seriously be practicing singing it for a cover. There’s no way I can’t make a cover of this. Got a friend who’s a musician so I might be able to borrow her mic.

I do believe Octavia has beat Beelzebub and Stella for my favorite Helluva character. I think once the hyperfixation wears down a bit too I might want to see if I’m Octavia fictionkin because I do truly feel as if I AM her right now.

I love the idea that Adam still has angry beast tendencies. Like, he’s much better at keeping his temper and maintaining social graces, but only up until a point. If anyone insults his Belle or is rude to his staff, he can go full beast mode (metaphorically speaking) obscenely quickly. It’s a quieter fury which would make it more sinister I think. On a good night he’s all charm and smiles, but after the day is done he’ll vent to Belle who will sooth him until he’s all smiles and cuddle again. This may seem like a spontaneous head canon dump but it’s response to your “he’s a bit cunty” tag 😆

NO DUDE YES EXACTLY!!!!!!!! i think about that all the time. like he’s so aggressively loyal to belle and his found family staff and it absolutely comes out in such a sinister way. like when he finds out that someone at a ball was rude to his beloved?? all hell breaks loose.

i also have a ~plot~ that i’ve never fully written, it’s more just a storyline i like to play out in my head sometimes, where someone was SO disrespectful about belle talking TO ADAM that adam just loses it and clocks the guy right in the nose. and it’s such a spectacle and adam is honestly stunned at his own actions. like he’s LIVID but he’s also immediately terrified because belle witnessed it and he never wanted her to see him lose his temper again. so he quickly leaves the room and belle runs after him.

he’s shaking and angry at the situation and himself and belle comes in asking if he’s okay but he just keeps backing away from her because he doesn’t trust himself and he feels so ashamed for letting her see that. eventually belle manages to get him to sit down so she can tend to his bloody knuckles (YEAH) and he apologizes and she says he has nothing to apologize for. she knows he wouldn’t just do that on a whim. she knows it was warranted. and it was but adam just feels so sjdkdjfk.

anyway you’re so right dude. amen brother. i love it. because YEAH LIKE??? sure he’s changed and grown but you don’t just snap your fingers and remove a temper like that lmao. he learns to manage it better (over time, with belle’s help) but yeah of course it’s still going to come out in quiet, vicious ways. he’s always going to be just a bit cunty!!! i love that bitch.

what you and the Anons mentioned about the cheating in some fics…you’re so fuckin right. I can’t stand it, especially when it’s like, the reader insert is supposed to be the “homewrecker” and ruins the relationship of the character all because 1) reader and ONLY reader is supposed to be with this character so any sabotage done from them is justified and 2) the other person in the relationship is by default so much shittier and worse. Like one of the big things that irks me is how all that’s done to show that reader is better than, is downplay the other person. It doesn’t really make sense to me how one can be shown they’re better by bashing the other character, or having what they lack. This might be just me but I hate when reader, in this same scenario is built to be this mean ass manipulative, obsessed brat. Like a “mean girl” type. I get some people might like it but when it’s the same exact thing every time, it’s…weird lmao. Kinda delves into bimbo!reader territory sometimes, and I ain’t abt that so I just leave and block the tags. And sometimes it’s like a clique almost? I see so many people finding that mean girl thing enjoyable to read and when I mentioned it before once I was told I was just too soft or jealous, like ?🤠

Doing this for Paris from Chthonic Hearts:

Physically: Black, dark skin with cool undertones, shortish and chubby, big lips + nose. Has his hair cut quite short but it still goes into his eyes all the time, and he wears it natural. Has ear and nose piercings. Often wears a lot of black, as well as chains, chokers, patches, and other traits of clothes often seen in alt subcultures. Likes wearing eyeliner and black lipstick but sometimes doesn't bc on bad days it can make him dysphoric.

Emotionally: His mental health is definitely not great. He cares a lot about others, and thus is always afraid he will hurt others, and this causes him to become very anxious. He really wants what is best for everyone and usually displays it in small gestures, but his anxiety and general discomfort around people causes him to oftentimes be too closed off, too harsh, or even sometimes mean. He can also lash out in anger or sadness, though those moments are directed towards himself instead of others. Trust issues to the max in this bitch. Overall, he has really bad anxiety about hurting others and this causes harm to both himself and others, and his autism also contributes to this (of course all my characters either are neurodivergent or just have a lot of nd traits bc idk how to write nt people).

2 things I love:

- His emotional state can be very similar to mine at times and i use him as a vessel to sort out my own problems or to find someone relatable. It's nice to create characters that have your own problems and see them be great people and grow despite them. I also use him as my transgender vent character lmao.

- He is a very soft and loving person despite how cold he can seem and i love writing him in moments where his softness and love for others is shown or where he is vulnerable.

2 things I hate:

- How much i relate to him can be a double edged sword, because oftentimes the way i write him makes me question things about myself or feel worse about myself.

- I can't think of much else i hate but something that both can be annoying but also fun to write is that he can be really ignorant about other's feelings towards him and thinks that people who obviously love him actually dislike him.

I love him sm and his internal conflicts + character growth are really fun to play around with when working on the book.

To be perfectly honest someone who can be my best friend and we have those relationships where we skipped the awkward stage and we started farting and burping and crying around each other when we first started being together! We have fun every days a new adventure we watch anime together, they indulge me in watching k pop stuff where We can talk about anything and everything we watch vines and memes and I can take them to my family and they’ll play with my baby cousins and to me that’s ideal. I’ve always wanted to someone who can just be fun and genuine with me and someone who won’t judge me for my weirdness but joins in.

Yes I do I’ve always been that child who carried around babies in a cart and I do a lot of babysitting and I picture myself being a bad ass mother one of these days… who knows?

I took the quiz thing a few times and I either got ENFP and the other times I got INFP so I guess I’m both intro and extroverted! I am the definitely the therapist friend! But I love making new friends and the only downside I have is that I have bad social anxiety so I don’t have great social skills. But when I do make friends I get excited too fast or I like skip small talk and start getting close and personal and everyone I met finds me to be too much and overbearing because I’ll rant for hours about things I love and people cut me off cuz my eyes get big and I talk louder and I start talking fast and it throws people off? But I’m fun I have a range of interests I’m family oriented. I love kids and have an ambition for teaching! I am a big risk taker and throw any rollercoaster my way and I’ll do it:)

A genuine girl and that doesn’t necessarily mean like pure and sweet but I mean they can have their spunk and attitude and their own shit going on but I mean the intention like if you intend to be genuinely real with me and not bullshit with me or waste my time then I’m game to be in a good friendship with you! And someone that has my back and someone I can have a laugh with because humor is one of my biggest turn ons in any friendship or relationship it sparks a connection for me!
