I got bored and thought I'd vacuum the playroom (where the solitary Family Computer lives) but it was like 6AM and I didn't want to wake everyone up, so I decided to unload the dishwasher. To my surprise, it was already empty, so the dirty dishes on the counter had no reason to be there. I don't usually load the dishwasher (sensory reasons) but again, I was very bored, so I did half of the dishes and then realised the floor was super gross in the kitchen and needed to be mopped. However mopping requires sweeping so I had to do that first ._.

I am particularly aware of how out-of-hand the house has gotten since my Beautiful Wife will be visiting in the spring and I want things to be super clean for her stay!!!! I am living in filth!! I am suffering greatly and the only other person who is even remotely aware of the state of this house is my mother, who has (FAIRLY AND RIGHTFULLY) given up on cleaning up after everyone!!! I'm hoping to maybe team up with my mom so we can get things slowly cleaned up together. I know that even if I ask the others to help, it is very unlikely to happen, and if they do clean up it won't be done properly, so my mother is my only hope 😔

Robin’s favorite part of Steve becoming a dad (and there really are so many to choose from) is getting to hear about all the ways his kids are learning how to push his buttons (as they absolutely should – Steve wouldn’t truly be a dad if he wasn’t being driven half-insane by their ridiculous antics).

“What are your children up to today, Steve-o?” she asked during a routine phone call.

And Steve replied, “Well, Moe spent half the night in time-out for fucking walloping Robbie with a hardcover picture book.”

“Why?” Robin snorts.

“Never figured it out, but later when we made Moe apologize, she said Sorry for hitting you with a book – which, you know, fine, she could have stopped there, but then she said If you just do what I say, I’ll never have to hit you with a book again.”

“Jesus, she’s like a fuckin’ mobster.”

“Tell me about it.”

Another time, Steve told her, “I think I lost the battle with Hazel’s hair.”

Robin made a sympathetic noise, because she was very aware of Steve’s ongoing crusade to manage Hazel’s unmanageable curls (they're actually pretty manageable, from what Robin has heard, the problem is just that Hazel won't let him).

“This morning I told her we needed to brush it before school and I think her exact response was Don’t people want to see the real me?”

Robin laughs, “Oh man, she’s so cute.”

“Don’t worry – she knows.”

One of Robin’s favorite updates is when Steve tells her, “We had to figure out how to address Robbie breaking into Moe’s fucking Webkinz account and spending all her fake money on gifts for herself,” and Robin can’t help a gasp, because she’s heard all about this Webkinz craze and just how big a deal it is to elementary-schoolers like Steve and Eddie’s oldest daughters.

“Holy shit, she’s diabolical.”

“Yeah. I mean, Moe probably could have picked a better password than password. Kinda thought she was smarter than that, actually, but…lesson learned, I guess.”

continuing the series of total drama characters as random stuff i like. the vast majority of these are classics because i played this game in 2010 and "collected" (looked at them longingly on the internet because they were too expensive/rare in my country compared to the US) the toys a little past that and so theyre the ones im most familiar with. first up we will look at all the webkinz (except for my frogs bc those ones are on a shelf)

there was this lil store in town that would sell webkinz for cheaper than meijers, so if i got good grades or something my mom would take me there and let me choose 2! but meijers always had a better selection so sometimes we would go there, but they were more expensive so i could only get 1.

lil kinz grey n white cat my beloved… i got her from my aunt for christmas one year :’) first ever webkinz, i was so excited!!

my mom hated the mohawk puppy because she thought mohawks were a sin

the signature clouded leopard introduced me to the animal and i was obsessed with them for a while!

the clydesdale horse is kinda special! my dad got it for me from ebay :) he normally never got me stuffed animals because he thinks they’re a waste of money. i also thought it was cool, because the internet was new to me, and i didn’t know you could buy stuff online!

not going into details about the traumatic event obviously but it’s kinda funny, because basically i had to pack a bag super quick and i spent forever deciding which plush to take with me lol (i think i was in shock or something, because i was not thinking clearly)

okay that was a lot of plushies… now i am tired… oof.

claw machine prize time!

i love claw machines, i would play them all the time! my favorite was this little one at little caesar’s in the next town over. the machine was really easy to win! i also remember walmart used to have a bunch of claw machines!

not going through the whole box, because most of them aren’t very interesting.

my first ever claw machine win is the little angry tiger! i was probably 4?? and it was at walmart. my dad moved the claw into position and i pressed the button :) i was so excited!!!!

the black and white bunny was a win from the little caesar’s i mentioned earlier. i loved it! the plush is super soft and good quality. normally claw machines have cheap toys so i was impressed!

the carrot farmer bunny is super cool! she originally had a straw hat, but the claw ripped it off :( i was never able to get it…. but that’s okay! also one of her legs is sewn on backwards. weird. but i still think she’s super cute!

next is miscellaneous plushies

i am even more tired now, so i’m not going through the entire box… sorry

these are mostly from garage sales! some of them were bought brand new though (and those ones were always so cool to me)!

i loved that chipmunk so much. i carried him with me around the house and i would sleep with him every night. i got him from the zoo on a field trip! i remember there was so many plushies, it was hard to choose just 1! unfortunately i did puke on him once, so my dad put him in the washer then dryer. when i saw him after he came out of the dryer i was so upset. he’s different! i hate change. i cried. he’s not soft anymore. i still loved him though, because it’s not his fault that his fur got messed up.

i don’t remember where the white dragon is from, but she’s so cool! i’ve heard it could be worth money but idk.

webkinz room decorating tips!

hi. hello. welcome to property brothers: webkinz edition, where I give you some tips for decorating and designing rooms. 

play around with room sizes and placements! this might mean something like splitting one large room into one small room and one medium room because you had more items than originally thought, or something like starting with a small room and changing to a medium room or a large room when you want more space or have more items than originally thought.

that being said - don’t be afraid to fill up small and medium rooms! I find that I like my rooms to have most of the floor space filled, so don’t be afraid to fill up every corner of a small room or add things on counters or tables.

okay this might sound a little insane but when going through your dock, START AT THE END. like scroll allllllll the way to the end. this lets all your items load so your dock doesn’t do any of those weird jumps and you don’t lose your place. 

colors are key! how I start out designing a room is I scroll to the end of my dock and then work backwards and literally throw in ANYTHING that has the same color scheme or palette, and any item that matches the theme. don’t worry about the organization for now, cause if you remove anything from the room, it’ll just go in your recent items, which gives you a section of the dock to easily work with. like here’s a couple of rooms after that process:  

like in the first picture I threw in items that were candy themed! and then right away I can kinda see that some of the items placed in there stick out, like they’re too dark or bold for the color scheme, or there’s not enough of that color in the room to pull it together. one way to identify those items is to take a step back or like. blur your vision - the first things your eyes are drawn too are probably the ones that don’t go, like this:

don’t be afraid to mix themes! what tends to make a room fit together is COLOR and STYLE. like I wouldn’t put a really angular table into a room that mainly has furniture with rounded edges, or vice versa. 

don’t shy away from wshop items! I know this might seem like a basic tip and sound kinda silly, but I used to avoid using wshop items because they weren’t rare/exclusive/etc. but wshop has some great items for room fillers, like simple plants, toys, rugs, and tables. plus, wshop has a lot of simple items that can go with a LOT of themes - things like the white rug or the golden side table or the party time windows. it’s a-okay to use an item that’s wshop or not “rare” if you like how it looks!

ask for help! while everyone has different tastes and will design rooms differently, putting an in-progress room in a group chat or a discord server can help you get some new ideas on how a room is organized, what to add to a room, or ideas for swapping out items.

look through other rooms for inspiration! I like to search pinterest (here’s my board of webkinz inspo) and go through the rooms Michael Webkinz posts on WebkinzNewz. you can see a lot of different themes and design layouts and get some inspiration for your house!

try and make different “areas” or “zones” in your rooms, so you have different places within the room itself! in a bathroom for example, I usually have a toilet zone, a bathtub zone, and a sink zone. or if I’m making a large room that has a bed, I’ll try and siphon off a little area for sleeping. rugs and dividers are great for helping you make these zones!

play around with the space and do what makes you happy! the beauty of webkinz rooms are that you can change them over and over again.

and lastly, while not webkinz, this video by polygon talks about how you can use real interior design tips to decorate your virtual rooms - in the video’s case, they use animal crossing, but I find a lot of the tips are helpful for webkinz too!

I had SO MUCH fun playing Vol. 3 with my friend! She is amazing at doing impressions and gave YouTube and Twitch the perfect voices, I couldn't ask for anything more. But enough about her since she prefers to remain anonymous, today I am here to present my favorite screenshots from the latest release of Cloutchase!

First thing I absolutely loved was that Twitch is so expressive! The facial expressions were all so delightful. ALSO. CLUB PENGUIN. AND WIZ101. And of course Webkinz, Animal Jam, and Neopets are in the background as well hahah, love that too!

This minigame was SO AMAZING omg I am OBSESSED with these character costumes and the fight animation too. Love all the cameos but this Strife content was so awesome!!!! The buttons were a little non-responsive at times but I managed to beat Twitch first try heheh

This is a pretty awesome frame and I'd like to shoutout AJ who I'm pretty sure drew it but I don't have the time or computer charge to reopen the game credits to check. If I'm wrong lemmie know but AJ deserves a shotuout anyway

I love how the subs are sub-sandwiches and I love the design of the camera and chat

I love how complex Twitch's route was. It was very compelling and definitely something I think most streamers need to hear. Swell job Team Timesync! Swell job indeed

Peak good end, now I know how to tie a tie. I actually really liked YouTube's route as it was cleverly designed and I love all the many different endings. It was kinda like wading through YouTube's recommended section where you'd save each different possibility of choices in your Watch Later and visit them all when you have the time (which is usually never). So many options but what to pick? I picked them all!

So when I got to this point I started laughing because my friend does all the voices and I only play User and Miss Blog Runner so she was carrying this entire section of the playthrough... AND THEN-

AND THEN THERE WERE FOUR! SHE HAD TO VOICE ALL FOUR OF THEM HAHAH! AND SHE DID AMAZINGLY! I kinda wish she wasn't anonymous cause I wanna give her a shoutout, but maybe when all the routes are released I can convince her to voice them all in a fandub (well not them ALL but definitely Kik and YouTube)

SWEET SWEET REVENGE HAHAHAHAH!!!! Totally deserved as long as they're done here hahahah. I do hope they can all tolerate each other again tho but I love this ending

This volume was long but a lot of fun! I love the Strife minigame and kinda hope it comes back in the future with more mechanics. Maybe an entire spinoff game like Smash Bros idk. Everything was so well written and I love how complex the characters are

Another fantastic entry for a fantastic game! Remember to recommend this game to various streamers to give it the attention it deserves (but not too many, don't wanna overwhelm our fav indie creators!)

-HATES HORROR MOVIES!! like this is a given but he will stay up all night thinking about it. its the one thing he stands up for himself on is not being forced to wathc horror movies (mostly because its the only thing both william and lizzie will back him up on)

-doesn't have friends and is regarded as weird, but kids avoid him for the most part. most of his bullying comes from ppl who know michael.

-used to be queasy with blood and spent an hour in front of a mirror post-killing charlie telling himself to man up and somehow that worked

-not a hugger. only hugs his kids in public to lighten the mood. except mike. mike u get awkward back pats

Imma let y'all in on a stroke of millennial parenting genius that probably won't work today, but I recognize as supremely impressive in hindsight.

If you don't know/remember, Webkinz is/was a brand of plushies that you could buy at the Hallmark store and register online to take care of and play computer games with. They were kind of like a superior competitor to Neopets. If you had a Webkinz account, you had to buy and register a new Webkinz plushie every year or so to keep your account active.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who was really into Webkinz. Like, she had a bed worth of surface area devoted to excess Webkinz that were unregistered so she could renew her account on a moment's notice. I don't know where she got them-- could have been from family and friends as gifts, could have been all she spent her allowance on. Point is, she spent a lot of time playing computer games, and when I went over to her house, that was most of what we bonded over.

Her dad was also kinda technologically savvy-- I think it was part of his job. I don't even think this was that hard to do at the time, but he had the TV set up to act as the monitor for their family's desktop computer. Like, it was a huge TV, so their family computer basically had a comically large monitor.

We thought this was the coolest thing ever, and the most "secretive" thing we ever did on the computer at that age was type in our Webkinz password. We didn't think anything of the fact that her parents could sit behind us on the couch, or see the TV from the kitchen, and monitor what we were doing online as though they were sitting on a bench at the playground.

We got to obliviously live our rich-kid-magic-tech dreams and play our computer games, and they got peace of mind knowing that we weren't being exposed to porn or animal torture while on the internet.

I so hope that this will work on gen-alpha kids by the time I have them because it is not the internet's job to be kid-friendly. It's its job to be organized with kid-friendly spaces, but I think being able to monitor kids' play during screen time the way you monitor them during outdoor play is a no-brainer.

this is Harold and Boris and they used to be married but they got divorced. bitterly divorced but they find comfort in the hate so the hang out all the time.

we got these guys from a webkinz group on facebook. if you need stuffed animals but maybe are low on funds i really recommend facebook groups. but if we want the same guy we will have to battle so i mean its an "at your own risk" kinda thing.

i love webkinz we used to collect them and now we're collecting them again so that's really great. but i do not like the new webkinz. its really annoying because these guys are so cute and silly and honestly precious. the new ones just look like every other stuffed animal and its kinda sad.

Its really nothing restrictive design-wise besides a few key features so they have been incredibly fun for me to draw, here are several sketches/examples

I do treat their fins as more like hair sometimes but you must understand it just looks cool

Webkinz Recipes By The Cuddly and Snuggly Teddy Bears!

OOPS ALL CARBS (I swear this wasn't on purpose im sorry). Comfort Foods for the Teddy Bears. Man, I wish these had plushie versions. Also, I haven't made one of these in a while; they are so fun tho. Anyway. Here we go!

"Jest The Best Bagel" Funny Face Mini Veggie Pizza (THE REST OF THE OWL. [sorry] Replace the bread flat things with bagels for authenticity. Also, you can make whatever faces you want; animal ones are really cute)

"Peanut Butter & Honey Sandwich" Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwiches (This recipe has butter in it as well, which I assume you can choose not to use for dairy purposes. Or not needing a refrigerator purposes)

"Choco Chip Waffles" Double Chocolate Waffles (The sheer amount of chocolate may kill you. Chocolate batter, chips and sauce. Worth it)

"Lasagna" World's Best Lasagna (Bold claim, Website. I always forget how to spell lasagna. I guarantee I could not do it without spell check, but to be fair, I haven't eaten it much. There is about fifteen million lasagna recipes out there, so options abundant)

"Cinnamon Bun" Cinnamon Raisin Rolls (I almost forgot about the raisins! I was putting just a regular cinnamon roll recipe, until I looked at the in-game recipe again. Remembered now)

"Birthday Party Sandwich" Mac and Cheese Dogs (Um. This one has you make your own Mac and cheese, but feel free to take the boxed kind and put it with some boiled hot dogs between two white bread slices. Then turned into grilled cheese with chili. I don't know if this is making me hungry or sick. Maybe just do the recipe version...)

"Teddy Bear Porridge" Peanut Butter Kiwi Oatmeal (Peanut butter and oatmeal is pretty good tho. Also please shape the kiwi slices and maybe grab a few blueberries/banana slices if you got any. Also, I didn't know the difference between oatmeal and porridge; turns out oatmeal is a type of porridge. My ignorance, cured)

"Honey BBQ Chips" BBQ Sweetpotato Chips Recipe (HUNGRY. HUNGRY. I WANT THESE. I think I have a craving rn so I have zero other commentary. sweetpotato)

I recently got the Cuddly Teddy Bear for Black Friday to renew my account and I LOVE HIM. I'd get the Snuggly one next year if it wasn't a member only pet. RIP. (If you lose your membership, do these pets just get snapped how does this work)
