Mini-analysis with Miniresponse

Has anyone else come across this account on Instagram? Being a fellow Instagram user, I was pulled in by the creator's reels, and then soon after became obsessed with checking out every single post. Looking back at it now I became curious about how the creator used Instagram functions to successfully gain their target audience’s attention. So, I will do a mini-analysis of my favourite posts. Firstly, I will look at the 24h story post; as the name suggests it allows the creator to post relevant/irrelevant content for their audience, meaning it could be related to any topic of discussion for 24h. After that time, it would no longer be available and so making it precious to certain followers, who want to stay up-to-date on their posts. This suggests that they could spend more time visiting the app to check in for any updates. Additionally, the creator provides an interactive question for their followers, meaning they can select one of the provided answers, send a direct message or click the like button. By allowing an interactive section on the posts, the creator can reach their followers more easily and personally. Because if the follower decided to interact and the creator does so too, it creates a deeper personal connection. Secondly, regular posts are used (mainly) for posting pictures of people or places, but this creator decided to instead create re-accessible content for the public. As a result, if a person finds one post helpful then they are more likely to check out other posts (which can be accessed within seconds). And even go as far as to like, comment, share and save. Hence, by expressing such positive behaviour from the follower's side, the creator can gain more exposure for their wide range of posts available. As if to suggest the more they can provide the more recognition they can gain. Thirdly, short videos (or reels) are popular nowadays because they require a short attention span, yet they can provide a lot of visual aid in a short amount of time. As a result, the creator can provide a quick overview of the topic and create ‘relatable videos’ to create a greater connection with their followers. The account overall is focused on posting reels, and that can allow the creator to be recommended to other users through the Reels option. A large amount of the visual aid that we receive and like will lead to the algorithm suggesting other accounts with similar hashtags or content. Within that video, the creator is not sponsored by the small business but instead partnered; meaning that they are not being paid to say positive things about their service. Instead, both individuals came to an agreement to use each other's platforms for greater exposure, which would benefit both sides (in gaining potential customers). Overall, the idea behind this variety of posts is self-promotion. In this situation, the creator is trying to promote their accounts on different apps, and if their audience does follow, they will gain (in return) helpful tips regarding employment, interviews, and CV writing.

CHAPTER 2

Flower Girl ASMR 1 day ago I am so happy that I could help you sleep, @Shadowsinger <3 ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It is that tingly feeling you might get from certain sounds. You can also have visual triggers. Supposedly, if you find the right triggers, they will help you relax and they can even help you sleep.  I hope that sleep treats you with kindness from now on.

Azriel stared at his screen. She had responded. She had actually responded to his message. He had scrolled through her comment section again to see if she replied to all her messages, but she didn’t. She liked most comments, but she only replied to a few. It made him feel special, which was absurd. Why did he feel special because some girl on the internet had replied to his comment? She had probably already forgotten about it.

But Azriel carried it with him for the rest of the day.

He also carried with him the annoyance of some of the comments he had seen. This girl really needed to learn how to block some words. Especially: boobs, nudes, cock, jerk off, and cum. Azriel made a disgusted face when he thought about it. If they knew each other, he would help her with that.

But they didn’t know each other, so Azriel didn’t have to think about it. Those comments shouldn’t affect Azriel in the slightest. He had read way nastier things on the internet and never cared.

What was it about this girl?

Azriel was sitting at his desk. He was working at Velaris Times – a web-based newspaper that his best friend Rhysand had started a few years ago. He hired Azriel to work in IT and their other friend, Cassian, as a photographer. It was a pretty small newspaper, so they all felt like family there.

Azriel was feeling naturally energized for the first time in his life. He didn’t even need to down his usual three cups of coffee this morning. Cassian was sitting next to him, editing some photos for an article that their co-worker Mor had written.

“You wanna grab some lunch later?” Cassian asked.

Azriel’s eyes didn’t leave his computer, but he nodded in agreement. “Sure. Should we invite Rhys?”

Cassian snorted. “Nah, he’s on that weird health-cleanse, remember? Feyre probably packed him a kale juice and some broccoli.”

Azriel chuckled. Feyre was Rhys’s wife and since they decided to get pregnant, she had been all about healthy eating, to Rhysand’s dismay. He wasn’t even allowed coffee - it was all about the green tea! Some days, Cassian and Azriel ate their lunches at the office which always lead to Rhys staring longingly at their food. It felt like having a dog begging for scraps underneath the dinner table.

“So that’s still going on, huh? I thought he would have given up by now. There’s only that much kale you can eat,” Azriel said.

“Yeah, but he’s whipped. Remember when they first started dating and she served him soup from a can and he ate it like it was a gourmet meal.”

“Fair enough.”

“You know that I can hear you, assholes?” Rhys called from his office. They had been very aware of this fact. Rhys strode out of his office, wearing his usual uniform of a dark suit and a crisp white shirt. Azriel was happy that he worked in IT so he could get away with just wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt - and maybe a hoodie on cold days.

“Are you telling me that Nesta doesn’t have you wrapped around her little finger?” Rhys smirked and leaned against the doorframe.

Cassians ears turned red. “She could never get me to drink kale-smoothies every day.”

Rhys shook his head. “You were pining for her for two years before she even agreed to go on a date with you. She could probably tie you to your bed and get you to call her mistress if she wanted to.”

Cassian leaned back in his chair and gave Rhys a purely male grin. “It wouldn’t be the first time,” he said and wiggled his eyebrows.

“Oh for fucks sake,” Azriel groaned. “Too much information, Cass.”

Cassian shrugged. “Don’t be so sensitive, Az.”

Azriel glared at him. “I’m not sensitive just because I don’t want to hear about your sex life.”

“That’s because you don’t have a sex life,” Cassian muttered under his breath, which elicited a burst of laughter that sounded more like a snort from Rhys.

Azriel shook his head and tried to concentrate on his work, which was almost impossible when his two friends were still staring at him. He could almost feel them scheming.

“Hey, Az. How’s the dating going?” Rhys asked.

Azriel didn’t answer, mostly because the answer would be that it  didn’t. He didn’t date. He was tired of going on dates with people he didn’t know. He wasn’t very talkative, so dates were basically his nightmare. And it was even worse when he agreed to download Tinder on a drunken night a few months ago. Dating like that just wasn’t for him. He didn’t want to meet someone on the internet like that.

“You want me to set you up on a blind date?” Cassian asked, and Azriel pretended not to hear him.

“Nesta has some great friends,” he continued. “What about Gwyn?”

Rhys nodded. “Yeah, Gwyn is a nice girl.”

Azriel stared at his friends. “I’ve met Gwyn.”

“So?”

“If I’ve already met her, it’s not a blind date.”

Cassian thought about it for a second and shrugged. “Eh, semantics. Should I tell Nesta to give her a call?”

“No. She’s not my type.”

Truthfully, Gwyn was a very sweet girl. She was cute and funny and determined, but she just wasn’t for Azriel. They had met a few times but there had been no attraction - no sparks. Azriel wanted to feel something from the start. He didn’t want to be in a relationship just to avoid being lonely.

“So, what is your type exactly?” Rhys asked.

An image popped into Azriel’s head. Usually, he couldn’t imagine what his type would be, but now, he saw someone in his mind. She had golden hair and cute little freckles on her nose. She was gentle, kind and calm.

It was Flower Girl ASMR.

Azriel closed his eyes, trying to get the picture of her out of his head. What was wrong with him? He didn’t want to date someone he had only seen in a few videos. That made him as creepy as those assholes in her comment section. He didn’t even know her. He didn’t even know her name.

“I don’t know,” Azriel muttered. “Could you please let me get back to my work?”

And after a few more suggestions of people they could set him up with (he kindly, but firmly, declined), they finally let him work.

That night, Flower Girl ASMR was hosting a livestream on YouTube. Azriel wondered if they might live in the same time zone since the live stream seemed to coincide with a reasonable bedtime for him.

Azriel joined the livestream just a few minutes after it had started.  A few hundred people were already logged in. Flower Girl ASMR was sitting in front of a background that looked like the night sky; dark blue and full of fairy lights. Her hair hung in waves around her face and she was wearing a pink top that matched her complexion. Not that Azriel noticed such things, why would he?

She was brushing her camera with a make-up brush, making it look as if she was brushing his face. “I am so happy that you all could join me here tonight,” she whispered into her microphone. “As promised, I was going to host my first livestream when we reached one hundred thousand subscribers, which we did last week.” She smiled at the camera, one of those smiles that reached her eyes. Azriel could feel himself smile back. Which was stupid. She couldn’t see him. “Tonight, you can make requests or ask questions in the comments, and I will answer a few of your questions,” she continued. She was still moving the brush over the screen. The combination of her whispering voice and the visual trigger of the brush made Azriel tingle all over.

Most comments were very nice; telling her that she helped them sleep, or wanting her to say hello to them. People asked her about her favorite color and if she had any pets (lilac and no). One person asked her to do something called hand sounds, and Azriel had never in his life appreciated hands rubbing together as much as he did at that very moment. Maybe it was something with the setting on her microphone, but the sound was like a wave of pleasure in his brain.

He could feel himself relax. But then, of course, the nasty comments started.

Azriel could feel his blood boil. He recognized the names from the video he had watched last night. Why didn’t she just block them? On the screen, he could tell that Flower Girl had seen the messages; her face fell for just a second. And one second was all it took for Azriel to suddenly feel very protective. He was just about to go tell them to go fuck themselves when he saw that he wasn’t the only one with that idea. The comment section was flooded with love for her and in just a matter of moments, the mean comments were drowned in a sea of heart emojis. Flower Girl smiled at the screen, silently thanking all of her followers for the love. But she didn’t address the hate. She just kept going as if nothing had happened. There were a few more nasty comments during the livestream, but the same thing happened every time; her followers love-bombed her. Azriel was happy to see that most people seemed decent enough, but god, she really needed to learn how to block people.

Before he could think about it, he clicked the link in her description that led to her Instagram. Her username was the same on that app, and it was mainly used to tell her followers when a new video was uploaded. Azriel quickly looked at his own feed, making sure that there was nothing embarrassing. There wasn’t. He didn’t post very often, and when he did he usually posted pictures of food.

He clicked the button for her DMs, and before he could talk himself out of it, he wrote her a message.

Shadowsinger Hey! I just watched your livestream (it was great!) but I couldn’t help but notice some really rude comments. I hope you don’t find this weird, but have you tried blocking them? If you don’t know how, I could send you a link that will describe how to do it. God, this is weird, isn’t it? If this message makes you uncomfortable, just delete it. I’m sorry. But if you need help with blocking those douchebags, please tell me.

He sent it without even reading it and as soon as it was out in cyberspace, he groaned. What the fuck was he doing? She wasn’t his friend. She wasn’t his anything. Yet, there was something that drew him to her. Maybe it was the fact that she helped him sleep? Yes, that had to be it. It was either that or witchcraft, and Azriel didn’t believe in the occult.

Azriel was just about to put his phone in another room and go die from embarrassment when he saw that she had answered his DM. He was afraid to open it. What if she told him to fuck off? He would never be able to watch her videos again, and then he would never again feel rested.

Azriel stared at the message dumbfounded. She had answered him. And she didn’t tell him to fuck off. She had remembered his username. And she thought that his food looked delicious. He didn’t understand why he suddenly felt so nervous. Should he tell her that after watching her video he had the best night’s sleep of his life?

Probably not. That might sound creepy.

He sent her the link and waited for a few minutes, feeling happy to help her.

Azriel laughed at the last part of her message.

Shadowsinger Unfortunately not. But if you want, I could help you.

She didn’t answer him for a while after that. Azriel was staring at his phone, trying to will a message to appear. Did he cross a line?

FlowerGirlASMR I won’t give you the details to my account. We don’t know each other.

Oh god. She thought that he was trying to scam her or something. Fuck.

Shadowsinger I don’t need to log into your account.

He sent the message quickly.

Shadowsinger I could guide you if you like? I work in IT so I’m used to just guiding people through these things.

FlowerGirlASMR How could we do that? I’m not very good at understanding instructions when they are written…

Azriel had an idea and it was both brilliant and idiotic. He typed quickly before the logical part of his brain told him to stop helping this girl he didn’t know.

Shadowsinger I could give you my number and guide you through the phone? I could share my screen with you so you could follow along like that if you are more of a visual learner. You could call me with a hidden number.

He added the last sentence to make her feel safer. And because he didn’t trust himself to have access to her number.

Again, he had to wait for a small eternity before her message popped up.

FlowerGirlASMR That would be great! Could I call you tomorrow at 10.00?

He didn’t even check his schedule before typing “Yes.”

She answered with a smiley.

Azriel sent her his number and she said that she would call, and that was that.

“What the fuck am I doing?” Azriel muttered to himself and got back to bed.

He opened the youtube app, and one of her videos was the first one he saw. His finger hovered above the video. Would it be weird to watch her now that they had messaged each other? He decided to click another ASMR video instead. And then another. And then another.

After 2 hours, he realized that all ASMR was not equal.

So he gave in and clicked on one of her videos. Flower Girl ASMR’s face filled his screen. “Hello my lovelies, lovelies, lovelies,” she whispered, and Azriel thought that she was the loveliest person he had ever seen.

Five minutes later, he was fast asleep.

a/n: this was totally random but I had so much fun writing this!

You smiled over at Jamie as he set up his laptop to do his interview, the kitchen cabinets falling as a background. “Shh, baby girl.” Your attention fell to the one month old cradled in your arms, her face contorting as she began to wail. Jamie glanced over, despite her screams he looked at her like she was the whole world, which to both of you, she was.

Well, for him, it was both you and Elle.

“I’m sorry, I’ll take her for a walk while you do your interview.” You assured him as he walked over, he nodded silently but put his hands out for her, still having a few moments before he had to be ready. You handed her over with ease, using the time to get her stroller ready with a few toys for her to stare at. “What’s wrong? Mhm, pretty girl.” Jamie questioned her softly, bouncing her in his arms lightly, you felt the warmth rush to your face as he caught you watching him, a soft chuckle falling from his lips as he turned his head back down to Elle who was calming in his arms. He walked over to where you were with her stroller, easily putting her down in it as she looked up curiously at the toys hanging above her. “It shouldn’t take me too long.” He mumbled, ducking down to kiss you quickly, you smiled against him. “Ok.” You hummed, it wasn’t the plan initially to hide her from the world for this long. You were going to post something when she was born, but she had made a grand entrance in the middle of the night via c-section and then before you knew it, a month had already passed and only the team knew of her, and your families of course. But the public was all the clueless, you and Jamie hadn’t been together for much more than six months before you’d gotten pregnant, not that you would change it, because by then you already knew Jamie was the one.

And he confirmed it by proposing the day you got home from the hospital with Elle, slipping her into a onesie that said “will you marry my daddy?” She had to be wearing it for nearly two hours before you even noticed, and when you did you burst into tears, terrifying Jamie who was in the kitchen making dinner for the two of you.

“What’s wrong? What, is she ok?” Jamie rambled, literally running into the living room where you sat with her sleeping in your arms. “Her outfit!” You laughed through your tears, looking at him with a teary smile, he gasped, throwing himself down to one knee, pulling the ring box out of his pocket, he’d been walking around with it all day. “Really?” You asked, looking at Jamie, his face fell. “Of course, I love you so much, who cares if we did things a little out of order.” He assured you, his smile returning when you whispered yes.

“Maybe tonight, we'll tell everyone about her?” You offered as he turned to walk back to his computer, he froze, looking back at you with a grin. He’d loved the time of her being just your little secret, but there already been more times than he can count where he’d just wanted to post a photo of her sleeping on his chest, or the way she grabbed one of his fingers and not even be able wrap her hand fully around it. “Yes, I like that idea.” He mumbled, letting you disappear out the door with her afterwards.

The walk was nice, and quiet, you’d stopped and talked to one of your older neighbors as Elle fell asleep in the stroller, your neighbor gushed over her, saying how much she looked like his granddaughter. You thanked him repeatedly for his kind words, more time passing than you thought, and it was beginning to get a little too cold for Elle outside, so you gave him a nice goodbye and headed back for the house, assuming that by now Jamie would surely be done.

You walked in the door, hearing nothing, so you smiled and carefully got the stroller inside, thankfully not waking the baby, until the dog realized you were here. It wasn’t his fault, he was doing his job, barking when someone got here, but you rushed to shush him, it was too late, Elle woke up and started screaming, those newborn lungs still amazingly powerful. Then you heard it, Jamie, still talking to an interviewer over video chat, trying to ignore the wailing of his daughter. You cursed silently, snapping your fingers and sending the dog to his bed as you lifted Elle up, trying to soothe her as quickly as possible. You knew she would feel better if she was looking out at the pool, something you and Jamie had learned quickly in her first few days of life, outside in general, but if she saw the water in the pool she was instantly happier. But the problem with that, you’d have to walk right past Jamie with a screaming baby. He glanced over at you, shooting you a soft smile, motioning you over, and you hesitated but then remembered you were going to announce her arrival today anyways, you guessed it would just have to be like this instead. “Give me just a second.” Jamie spoke, leaving his spot in front of the computer, you watched him take large strides over to you, taking Elle from you with a smile. “Come on, please. I’ve got to show off both my girls.” He gave you a small pout, you looked at him incredulously. “I look terrible!” You protested, no match for his strength as he pulled you along by the hand. “Jam.” You whined, he only winked at you before sitting in the chair again, this time with Elle in her little baby sweat suit due to the chill outside. “Sorry about that.” He spoke, as if he didn’t just appear with a baby that no one knew about. No one spoke for a moment, trying to decide if they should ask.

Eventually a female reporter spoke up, “and who do you have with you now, Jamie?” She questioned, and your smile widened as he looked down at Elle in our adoration. “This is my daughter, Elle.” He spoke fondly, adjusting her to be more upright in his arms as she drifted off easily, more than likely exhausted from her screaming fit. “And my fiancé, Y/N, is just over there.” He pointed off screen to you, motioning you over, and you listened, not before giving him a glare. You walked up beside him, smiling at the camera, “hello.” You spoke softly, “sorry for interrupting.” You laughed lightly, a chorus of no’s and it’s fine came over the speaker, everyone buzzing as they thought of how they would get to be the firsts to report that Jamie Benn had a secret baby and his girlfriend was now his fiancé.

You sighed dramatically as Jamie fell down on the couch beside you, he smiled, pulling you into his side. “She went down good.” He assured you, handing over the monitor that was pointing at the bassinet in your bedroom. You nodded, “did you pick a picture of her to post?” You asked him, looking through your own phone already full of pictures of her and him. You smiled at your favorite one, from just the other day, Jamie asleep on the couch with her asleep on his chest, the dog laying between his legs as well. All three of them fast asleep. “Yeah.” Jamie answered you, typing away on his phone, you doing the same as you opened up Instagram and uploaded the photo, your caption reading,

You refreshed your page, the likes already pouring in, congratulations and comments of how adorable she is were flooding your notifications, but one stood out in particular.

You looked up at him to see him already staring at you. “I love you.” You whispered, pulling him in for a kiss, “I love you.” He murmured, pulling back to kiss your forehead. “So much.” He added, looking at the monitor and then back at you, his feelings plain as day on his face, love and adoration.

She try make us think she got something but everything is a lie. And her "fans" believe her. They don't search nowhere. They say it's new and ppl are jealous ?!? Wow // I think these die-hard-fans are mostly in their teens and living in a fictional world, where they really truly believe Sebastian will notice them, if they fight for him and he’s god and can’t do no wrong. I didn’t see the post with her “new” pic, but I found a screenshot on a Seb-Ale Fanpage and of course everybody posting a negative comment is jealous of her. Just looking at that accounts name leaves no doubts to me, that there is probably a 14 yo girl behind the whole thing thinking, Sebastian checks her IG account and notices her. And those teens are what is so exhausting in every fandom….just saw a clip on IG where Lizzo shared CEs reply to their baby rumors and in the comment section to this page, were mostly just teenager hating and shaming on Lizzo. I mean, didn’t everybody realize that this was a joke on her part? Those teens really thought Lizzo wanted to date Chris🤷🏼‍♀️ but she’s just a fan like everybody else and btw I think she’s just a little bit too crazy for him and I think he knows that too😄 but those teens probably have their bedroom plastered with posters of their favorite stars….maybe even photoshopped themselves next to their famous crush in wedding pictures……….sorry about my little rant, but I’m just so done with this generation of teens. Just looking at so many videos on social media is making me sometimes so angry. They film themselves “doing good things” just for clicks and likes. Like all those people that gift homeless people hundreds of Dollars only to show their great image🙄 I mean CB tried that once too with that crab in Mexico and we all saw how that turned out 😂 just too bad, she did it only in a story..I would’ve loved to see that comment section 🍿🙃

ooh this is so adorable i got a little carried away so its really long for a blurb lol and i added some “comments” and i literally made up usernames from the top of my head and im hoping they arent real but i hope you enjoy bc i adored writing this!! //

when vogue asked you to film your morning routine, you immediately said yes. you adored those videos and was excited everytime they posted a new one with a different celebrity. you always thought they were super interesting and loved to see everyone’s routines. they always had such huge celebrities so you were honored and super excited when they asked you to do one.

you got up early that morning to give you plenty of time to film and refilm if needed. it was about 9:00 when you sat at your vanity and set up the camera. niall was still sleeping in your bedroom but you didnt bother to wake him up to tell him you were filming your video this morning.

you clicked the record button and began, “hey everyone! it’s y/n y/l/n and today i am gonna be showing you my morning routine!” 

you began your routine, explaining every step in detail. you showed your products to the camera, explaining what they did and how you apply them and being your goofy self as well. over halfway through your routine, you heard rustling from your bedroom right behind the bathroom door.

the door creaked open and your eyes widened and a small smirk erupted on your face when you saw a shirtless niall walk into the room in the viewfinder of your camera. he was rubbing the sleep out of his eyes before he stood behind you, draping his arms around your shoulders and dipping his head down to press a sweet kiss to your temple, and mumbling in his deep and raspy morning voice, “hey baby” 

“g’morning” you giggled, still staring at him through the viewfinder, a huge smile now on your lips. his hair was an enormous mess, sticking up in every direction and his eyes were slightly red from rubbing them. you loved niall in the morning, he was the absolute cutest when he woke up.

thats when he lifted his head and looked up at you through the mirror, spotting the recording camera staring at both of you. his eyes went wide and his jaw dropped open and you started giggling at him, “oh my god im sorry, i didnt know ya were recordin’ today” 

“no its okay, its about time we let everyone know” you grinned, lifting your head and look up at him from behind your shoulder

“ya think?” he hummed, cocking his eyebrow up 

“mhm” you nodded, smiling softly and getting lost in those gorgeous blue eyes he had. 

you and niall had been together for almost 10 months and early on, you both decided to keep it quiet as long as possible. neither of you wanted the backlash or the attention of a new relationship that came with the fields both of you worked in. youve been seen in public together many many times and have been asked about each other but both of you say “we’re just friends”. everyone speculates and thinks you’re lying but neither of you ever admit the truth. your friends and family knew about you all, but the public eye did not. you were surprised you had kept it quiet so long but at this point you wanted to show off your handsome boyfriend. 

“i love ya” he grinned, leaning down and pressing a sweet kiss to your lips

you had sent your video into vogue and they had finally finished editing it and it was now live on their youtube channel. you were nervous about the reaction. this was huge for both you and niall because now the entire world knows youre together. you assumed the worst and thought every single one of niall’s fans were gonna kill you, especially after the reaction he used to get with his past girlfriends. so you were a bit nervous, but niall was so very good at comforting you, “theyll love that im datin’ ya! i mean cmon, yer y/n y/l/n!” 

“you make it sound like im beyonce” you rolled your eyes playfully 

“yer my beyonce” he smirked, batting his eyelashes at you

“oh my gosh, stop, that was so dumb” you smacked his arm softly, rolling your eyes again and giggling at him

you had posted a picture of the thumbnail on your instagram, promoting the video so your followers could go watch it. you and niall were sitting down on his couch when you decided to go through the comments to see how people were reacting to yours and nialls now public relationship. you were absolutely shocked with the amount of positivity that was flowing through your comment section. of course there were the occasionally hurtful and upset niall fan comments.

Whose Voice Is It Anyway?

A/N; this idea randomly sprung into my head at 2 am one night and has haunted me since. so i had to try and bring it to life. enjoy. 

The white walls surrounding the closet area have become a well-known back-drop as of late. The majority of the videos created within this space usually include ridiculous dancing or lip-syncing to silly voice-overs, but today is more of a laid-back style of simply speaking to fans or anyone who happens to drop by the live stream. She gives herself a once over in the mirror and then on the screen before finally hitting the live option on her phone. 

A few people immediately join and begin spamming the comment section with emojis, a few say hello whilst others flat out say “I love you,” which earns an internal chuckle for a response. 

“Hello!” Jessica’s voice goes up a pitch with excitement seeing all of the people merrily interacting among themselves until random questions begin to pour in. “I’m at home right now, I just wanted to speak to you all, how are you guys?” 

Light slow-tempo music fills up the silence around her, not wishing for the atmosphere to be awkward as she reads the many things flying up the screen too fast for her to be able to comprehend what most of them are saying. 

“A new video? It’ll be out on Wednesday! Are you looking forward to it?” She asks after multiple people spammed about a new JessicaLand upload. A tonne of reassurances that people are indeed enjoying her content flows afterward. “I was so worried no one would watch but you all seem to like it a lot, it makes me so happy, in fact, we should probably change this!” 

She shuffles around briefly with the camera not showing her arm stretching out for the device that is playing the background music until she pulls it into view. 

“This music is too sad if we’re all in a good mood, let’s change it,” She readjusts herself upon seeing her reflection on the screen isn’t showing her face properly before speaking again. “Alexa, play happy music.” 

The Echo flashes a blue ring around the top to show it has registered her request and immediately switches to a more upbeat pop song. The lyrics evade Jessica’s mind briefly but eventually, she catches onto which song it is and sings along to some of the words whilst reading the various comments. 

“How are you guys?” She asks curiously. “Are you all taking care of yourselves?” 

A stream of responses floats up the screen at a rapid speed, some positive, a few negative, and the rest not even answering the question and instead, hurling their own back toward her. A steady conversation ensues discussing the possibility of a new album, Blanc & Eclare’s latest collection as well as what Soojung has been up to recently. 

The music playing in the background soon changes to a more doo-wop, R&B sounding melody with what Jessica thinks is a beautiful voice singing along to it. She begins to hum along with it herself mindlessly. 

“Wow, isn’t this song pretty everyone? The voice is so beautiful, I could fall asleep listening to it.” 

Her words are aimed towards no one, in particular, however, the startling response of people seemingly losing their minds after her compliment is rather confusing. Many people spam expletives, some simply repeat the word “omg” a bunch of times. Just as she’s about to ask what has caused this sudden uproar, it finally clicks when she sees her name repeated in some of the comments and her heart drops to the pit of her stomach.

Taeyeon. 

Without even realizing it, she had not only managed to sit and listen along to Taeyeon’s voice singing beautifully without noticing who it was nor did her brain recognize the signature voice of her former group-mate, but she had complimented her in front of thousands of people. The first time she’s acknowledged her existence in years and it’s by far the most embarrassing way to do so humanly possible, Jessica thinks. 

She quickly scrambles to change the song to something, anything other than what is playing, however, the damage if you wish to call it that has already been done. 

As yet another airy pop song replaces the sweet tone of Taeyeon, Jessica is frozen in place and unable to figure out what to do or say next to everyone still collectively losing their minds over this brief interaction and nod to her former life. 

Despite it being probably the worst way to move on from this blip, she decides to simply ignore it and pretend that it didn’t just happen with many witnesses who will no doubt rush to discuss it elsewhere and hopes that continuing the live will distract them from it altogether. 

It doesn’t.

The conversation between herself and fans continues for another ten minutes, though, it’s a lot more difficult to find talking points now among the sea of people simply plastering Taeyeon’s name but she manages until it all becomes a little too much. 

“I have to go now guys, but I hope you all remain well. I’ll see you all next time,” she waves goodbye to the screen and brings the live to an end with a deep sigh. 

It doesn’t take long for both Jessica and Taeyeon’s names to trend on various social platforms, in fact, it’s rather impressive how quickly the news of it spread. Some fans initially couldn’t believe that such a thing would happen and put it down to people making something up to fit their narrative. However, when someone eventually revealed they had managed to screen record most of the live including what Jessica had said about Taeyeon, any and all doubts were put to rest. 

In turn, it didn’t take much longer for news to reach Taeyeon either. 

Sitting inside the back of a small coffee shop, hidden away enough that people won’t bother her with a manager flanked on the opposite side of the table. The steam from the warm drinks is Taeyeon’s only focus, watching it swirl out of the small cup forcing her to zone out a little. 

“Taeyeon, look at this.” 

The words alone cause a rush of anxiety to build up in the pit of her stomach, even more so once he places his phone in front of her showing the trending topics page. A headline reading ‘Jessica forgets Taeyeon’s voice’ sitting atop the page. She decides to read through the article, though she mentally refuses to acknowledge it’s because she’s intrigued. Instead trying and failing to convince herself it’s just because she has no idea what it could possibly be about, and yet, it makes her sad regardless.

It’s not that Taeyeon expected Jessica to remember what her voice sounded like after so long apart, but to have her forget it completely feels painful somewhere deep down inside in a place buried long ago and forgotten. The only saving grace being that Jessica complimented her before she realized who it was she was praising. Taeyeon chuckles to herself at just how air-headed Jessica clearly can still be at times. 

The phone is quickly handed back to her manager as she scoops her own out of her jacket pocket. Her thumbs instinctively begin to type out a text message. 

“How could you possibly forget?” 

“Has it really been so long you don’t know what I sound like now?” 

“Don’t you listen to my music nowadays?” 

All of the possible things she could say to Jessica end up deleted. Her thoughts all begin to muddle into one until eventually, she closes the messages app after growing unsure of whether to bother sending her a text message after all of this time. She may not even have the same number. Instead, she hesitantly opens up Instagram, heads toward the story option, and snaps a picture of her coffee sitting atop the table. The pattern the barista managed to form being of a small heart. 

She begins to type out a small message to go along with the picture and publishes it without thinking twice. 

A few moments pass before the manager once again startles her out of her reverie. 

“Do you know that you posted this?” He turns his screen to face her with the Instagram story of her coffee pulled up on it this time, pointing towards her words clear as day below the image of the cup. 

“Yes.” is all she offers as a response and returns back to staring anywhere but at him or the phone. 

“Don’t you think it will make matters worse?” 

“It’ll be fine, it’s about time.” 

The two names continue to trend with more and more people discussing the two former group-mates except now, more specifically,  what Taeyeon’s words in response to Jessica could mean for them both. 

“Your voice is still beautiful too.” 

Jessica doesn’t see the story herself, not wishing to fall down the rabbit hole that is Taeyeon if she happens to look at the many pictures depicting her life now. However, she does see the many screenshots people tag her in for days afterward. 

She would be lying if she said it didn’t make her feel all the things and more that Taeyeon now sings about.

SociRobotic Review – My experience in using it

I have the chance to try using SociRoboticas as a beta user so you can totally trust me with my honest review about my thoughts and experience with this software.

But before that, I would like to walk you through all the fun and powerful features so that you can have a clear overview of the product and what it can really do.

Here I’m inside the SociRobotic Dashboard. It gives you a quick overview of the total number of posts including succeeded posts and failed posts. You can view it in total or in each social media just by choosing from the left column.

In the “Publish all” section, you can write your post from here and publish it to your favorite sites. You can upload any kind of media including photos, videos, links, or text. To post it directly, just click the “Post now” button. Or else you can choose to schedule.

Switching between platforms can be done with ease by just clicking at the icon of the social media you want to post to.

You can do that separately with each social media platform. For example, here I am writing my post for Facebook Also, you are able to add as many accounts as you like.

MY OPINION:

SociRobotic allows you to add multiple profiles from various platforms and schedule social media updates at your leisure or utilizing a queue with times that you set.

You can configure the listening stream to display whatever profiles/hashtags you desire at any given time. From the news feed, you can reply, assign posts, forward posts, retweet, and retweet with comments.

They can also integrate with sponsored adverts, although we don’t utilize them for that. I like that you can view an upcoming post calendar so I can know if there are any holes in our schedule.

The dashboard is simple to use and offers a variety of views, including a calendar, so you can see whether you have a lot of messages that need to be spaced out. The SociRobotic All-Stars Slack channel is another source of information and support.

SociRobotic also has incredibly detailed reporting for each platform, which has given me a better understanding of how our accounts and postings are performing. It’s been quite beneficial. I used to always forget to publish before, but this has made it much easier to prepare ahead!

- Another email. Person says Greg and Shiloh’s relationship reminded them of their relationship with their ex. Their ex would fake mental illness and fake episodes when they would try to leave. Greg says Shiloh would fake seizures around when they had arguments or when he tried to break up with her so that makes sense. [Shiloh popped out of seizure after he threatened to call ambulance story] He says that’s why he knew they were fake and why he didn’t take them seriously. He just thought that’s who she was and thought she was just weird. - Person says this type of manipulation only works on people who want to help. Greg says his hero complex is pathetic and he hates it. He doesn’t want to save people because it always screws him over. Except with Kai, but Kai didn’t need to be saved because he had his whole life planned out. He was going to be a surgeon, but instead Greg helped him get a bachelor's degree in psychology by spending $100,000. He says it was cool he got to help Kai with that. - Person says if Greg was still with Shiloh, he’d be living in fear. They list aspects of his life they believe she would control. Greg says the only thing she controlled was if he looked at a women, h-e-n-t-a-i, or p-o-r-n she’d freak out on him. She’s very jealous. - Person describes their relationship with their ex more. Greg says Shiloh didn’t try to ruin his life until she started doing interviews, 8 years after [Shiloh cheated story, he never jerked off to her crying] - Person talks about the impact their relationship had on them 6 years later, trust issues, avoid people, push people away. Greg says Shiloh did not have that impact on him. - Person says what Shiloh did to Greg was abuse. Greg says he feels putting the label of abuse on what Shiloh did to him is not what he wants to do right now. [Shiloh wrapped arms around him story.] He says she wanted him to do something bad to her so she could use that to guilt trip him. He realized in that moment some guys lash out and hit because they are backed into a wall and don’t know what to do. He was tested and he doesn’t hit. He giggles like the Joker, but in more of a pussy boy way. Shiloh weighed the same as him and was very strong and he didn’t want to fight it because he was afraid he’d hurt her. He doesn’t want to say he was abused because as a man it doesn’t feel normal. - Another fan email. Greg says he doesn’t have a perfect memory, but he has a pretty good one, he doesn’t have BPD, doesn’t have Alzheimer’s, so he has a normal brain besides his depression that he was diagnosed with. He says no one knows all the facts. If there’s a god, he or she might. - Person says they think there are details on both sides that aren’t being told. Greg says he doesn’t know what that means. He tells us stuff as it comes to his mind. - Person says Greg doesn’t have to prove his innocence unless he’s charged and even then he doesn’t have to prove himself to strangers online. Greg says the problem is the strangers online can harass you, SWAT you, send you horrible things in the mail, constantly make meat pizza deliveries to you. Every pizza company in the area should know by now not to deliver pizzas to him because they’re pranks and they’re wasting time and money. People don’t care if they’re stealing from companies, or if they make illegal calls to emergency agencies, or if they’re wasting animal control’s time. That’s why he has to establish innocence to the general public. [Internet is guilty until proven innocent when it should be innocent until proven guilty rant] - Person says they are 37 year old woman who works in law enforcement and it makes them sick that people are going so hard on someone who has yet to be charged with a crime. She says she wanted to show support and tells him to stay strong. He says that’s cool. [People don’t care about real crimes rant.] - Says his relationship with Shiloh was toxic and he’s glad he broke up with her. He should have broken up with her sooner. [Called police on Shiloh story, he ran away to LA.] He says a month ago he found out he could have gotten a restraining order against her. [Shiloh made him feel like she was the one, cheated.] If you raise someone else’s baby and they got pregnant with someone else you never met before while you were dating them, you’re a cuck. He’s happy to date a single mom, but not in that situation.

He received an email that said “I can’t wait until you die in jail.” -This is the reality check he hopes we all face: there’s no crime. [Sarah admitted nothing happened until she was an adult, NDA, blackmail.] Billie and Sarah both admitted Sarah was never groomed. People were around and saw them with Sarah so it was obvious she was never groomed. He was mean to her. - People talk about photos being exchanged. They’re talking about Kai, not him. The laptop belonged to Kai. Phone text exchanges is what Kai’s accused of. He 100% believes Kai wouldn’t want to send photos of that nature to someone who is not of age. The photos were not obtained through honest means in his opinion. It’s disturbing someone held onto and released those photos when they knew Kai didn’t want them to have them. He says there were two pictures and they wound up on instagram with parts cropped out. It was not sexual. - Says Regina says photos were exchanged, but he was informed Regina is a liar. Regina has no proof this occurred. He says he doesn’t know about this exchange because he is disinterested in Regina. - [Doorbell rings and dog barks.] Greg comes back and says once again you guys pranked the pizza place, defrauding pizza companies by having them make pizza and not paying for them. They got sent away once again without being payed. You guys are absolute scumbags. - Says Regina is a very ugly girl. He says he knows it comes off as mean, but he doesn’t believe in filters or PC culture. He’s allowed to think someone is ugly or gross. He saw her in a video thumbnail. He’s not trying to get our approval. - Greg says crimes typically have to happen in order for someone to go to jail. What he’s accused of is grooming. It didn’t happen and if it did it’s not a crime. - Greg and Kai backed up all their texts on a cloud so there is no escaping the evidence. He says they would show us, but we would probably try to get him canceled again for “doxing” [air quotes]. If he tries to show proof and defend himself you guys say it’s doxing. If it ever goes to court he’ll unload all the texts from day 1 to the last day. It’ll prove she said she groomed them and there were zero inappropriate photo exchanges. [Kai’s not into p-o-r-n] Except he thinks Kai had guys kissing on his tumblr. - Sarah is a shameful liar. She keeps saying she has evidence yet they’re still free. Greg have her $150 for her birthday because she helped him build a chicken coop. He says it’d be cool if she gave that back because she’s done more than $150 worth of damage with her lies. She also apparently made tens of thousands of dollars off of you guys being gullible. - [His forums were 18+ only] Says there was a rumor the forums were deleted last year when the forums where people submit stuff, onision.xyz, haven’t been around since 2016. There were dead forums up that no one was using. All the submission sections were deleted 2 years ago because there was too much controversy around adults sharing photos. He was just telling people if they were fat or ugly or not. - His discord is adults only and doesn’t even have a selfie section.  - He never exchanged inappropriate picture with anyone. - He says the police representative that was spoken to was the craziest thing because he doesn’t know why you’d comment on an open case. People say there’s 19 calls or investigations. The police have only been to his house 6 times. They’re talking about how many times people called the police, but most of the time they don’t come because they’re sick of people making shit up. - [Sarah was rejected, apologized for r-a-p-i-n-g them, left] He says he bought her the movie Dodgeball. She was mad he didn’t want to watch it with her and that was one of the last interactions they had. He made it up to her by watching another movie. He was trying to make her happier before she left so they wouldn’t be on horrible terms. [His BPD video upset her.] - He doesn’t know why Sarah would watch this video, but if she does he tells her to move on with her life so he can move on with his. He tells her when he was talking about gross smokers, he wasn’t talking about her. She never smoked around him so he wouldn’t be able to taste any smoke nastiness on his tongue. He was talking about Shiree who took his virginity. Sarah internalized everything he said as if it was about her, which is probably part of her mental thing. - If the accusations against Kai were real, they would have went to the police, but instead they went to the internet. As far as he understands Regina promoted a plastic surgery operation, Shiloh promoted a new album, Sarah promoted a Venmo with tens of thousands of dollars. Everyone’s promoting something. - The crime accusations are against Kai, but people don’t talk about Kai because he’s not popular to talk about so they blend what people say Kai did onto him. None of this will hold up in court. The police are being pranked. - [He repeats his earlier points and stories a lot.] Asks if his crime is getting blackmailed and sexually extorted by someone? Says he has witnesses, but not to Sarah apologizing. That was just to him. - He says someone tried to SWAT them but it failed. The police department is fed up by how much people try to troll them. Someone tried to send him mail with powder in it and they shut down the post office because it was dripping liquid and had a hate messages. He says no doubt from one of the moron commentary channel viewers that believed everything they said. Basically threatening his life. His house was egged by teenagers and they looked in his car. He would show us the footage, but he’s saving it for court. They thought they weren’t home because they covered up their windows after Hansen.

 It’s no surprise that some of the content may be offensive to you or your kids. When you access YouTube on your browser you will notice that there are several videos that are  recommended  for you to watch.

 Although most of these videos will match your interests there are some that don’t. In this article, we will show you how to block YouTube video channels in 2020.

 If you don’t want to watch content from certain video channels then you can block these channels. This way you can customize your YouTube experience exactly the way you want.

 YouTube already has a moderation program to try to eliminate all inappropriate content.

 However, with knowledge of how to block  YouTube channels, you can apply your own filter to what you see eliminating those that you consider offensive or that you just do not want to continue appearing in your suggestions.

 Assign someone from your team to monitor and carry on an appropriate conversation across all of your platforms.   This means they should not only monitor but also respond to positive and negative comments.

   Pick your battles  

 It would be great if you could answer everyone but sometimes you need to pick and choose whom you respond to.

 Prioritizing and mentally preparing what types of people will be commenting will help you when something unexpected appears on your posts.

   Short and Sweet is the way to go  

 Even if the comment is getting to a 3-paragraph length, it doesn’t mean you need to respond in a similar manner. Don’t take up more of your time then you need to. Just keep everything pretty short and simple.

 Try not to seem too dismissive but address everything you need to say in a few sentences.

   Creating FAQ Resource  

 If many people are commenting or inquiring about the same question it could be beneficial to create a FAQ resource to help you answer all their questions.

 This will allow you to share the information quickly on a specific topic.

   Learn to be watchful  

 If your conversations take a turn for the worse, then it’s a good idea to take it somewhere else. Feel free to redirect the conversation to either pass on their issue to the proper channel or respond in an email or private message. This will help with coming to a more resolved outcome.

It is really quiet inside the bedroom.

Heck, it is quiet inside the whole apartment.

You and Baekhyun stand side by side in the walk-in closet—you’re rummaging through your side of the closet and trying to grab your pajamas while Baekhyun is already stripping his suits away. After grumbling a bit when his feet get caught in his pants, Baekhyun finally finishes stripping off his clothes and takes his pajamas in his arms.

You know he’s heading to the bathroom but you still need him to help you unzip your dress. “Babe, could you—“ you don’t even need to finish your words because he’s already standing behind you and helping you with the zipper. Tucking his pajamas under his armpit, he grabs a hold of your dress and unzips the fabric gently. “Thank you,” you breaths out and he only hums, leaning in to press a kiss on your bare shoulder.

“I’ll wait in the bathroom, babe,” he sing-songs as he walks past you, out of the closet and to the bathroom.

Heaving out a sigh, you quickly take your dress off and grab your pajamas—the silky pink ones or as known as the pajamas Baekhyun bought for you on your birthday two years ago. With only wearing your bra and panties, you casually stroll out of the closet and join your fiancé in the bathroom. He is already standing in front of his side of the counter and pushing his floppy hair off his forehead, clipping it with your hair clip.

“Do you want me to go first or?” He asks, watching you place your clothes on the counter.

“Yes, please.” You grab your headband—putting it on with a bit difficulty—and sit on the toilet lid, waiting for Baekhyun.

Baekhyun moves with ease, grabbing two cotton pads and pouring some makeup remover on it. Warmth spreads around you when you realize that he’s using the oil-based one, knowing that it will be easier to remove your waterproof makeup with that one.

“Babe, your legs,” he nudges at your legs, causing you to pull your legs up and sit cross-legged on the toilet. He stands so close to you that you can still catch a whiff of his cologne and you tilt your head up, closing your eyes and waiting for your fiancé to do the magic.

The first touch gets you smiling unconsciously. He presses the cotton pad gently on your eyelid, wiping it a couple times to take your heavy eyeshadow off. His other hand is holding on your chin and keeping your head in place because he knows you get ticklish when he undoes your makeup. He doesn’t know it, though, until last year when he suggested to take your makeup off because your limbs were heavy and you were too tired to even move.

Not only did he find another amusing quirk about you, but the thing that you thought would only happen once now also becomes a routine of you both.

“The cheesecake was tasty,” he brings up out of nowhere as he taps his finger on your cheek twice, signaling you that you can open your eyes now.

“I actually thought of bringing it home.” Baekhyun chuckles softly, pulling away to grab another cotton pad wetted with the makeup remover before settling back to his place. “Kinda wish I had my Tupperware with me.” He clicks his tongue as he starts to clean the makeup on your forehead.

“You and your Tupperware,” he teases and shakes his head faintly, a teasing smile spreading across his face.

“I thought I could have it for breakfast.” Watching the way his smile shifts into a smirk is a bit amusing to you, especially when you know it’s all because of you.

“Just last month you told me that we can’t have cake for breakfast.” His touch across your face is gentle and calculated as if he’s afraid that he pushes too hard or hurts your face.

“Well, that cheesecake would be an exception.” He shakes his head in disbelief and doesn’t say anything else, now focusing on wiping your lipstick off. It’s his favorite part, though, unveiling the natural color of your lips as he wipes the color off your lips.

He tugs at your lower lip gently, his eyes focusing on the way your lips part for him and his hand trying to do quick work on erasing your lipstick. He doesn’t say anything and his eyes don’t stray as if he’s enamored by the enticing sight of your lips.

“Done,” he breathes out and leans forward to press a kiss on your clean lips, both of his hands holding on to your cheeks. Pulling away, he flashes you a goofy smile, “Now is my turn!” He ushers you to stand so he can take your seat.

Taking Baekhyun’s makeup off is not hard at all. Well, probably it’s because he doesn’t have much on in the first place. But you still take a bit too long though, his soft skin and his rounded cheeks are too adorable for you to not touch it a couple of times. You just can’t pass up that chance, especially not with the way Baekhyun looking up at you with a fond look in his eyes that melts your heart for the nth time today.

“Don’t look at me like that. You make me nervous,” you speak up as you finish cleaning his face, throwing the cotton pads away into the trash bin under the sink.

“You’re so beautiful, how can I not look at you?” Your cheeks redden at his words and your heart skips a bit. He’s always catching you off guard and making you swoon with cheesy words that you’re grateful you don’t melt into a puddle.

“Okay, Casanova,” you tease with a playful roll of eyes. “C’mon, let’s shower. I’m so sleepy.”

It’s an innocent shower tonight. Baekhyun doesn’t try anything suggestive when he helps you scrub your back and doesn’t even keep his eyes too long on your breasts when he watches you running the loofah across your chest. Usually, showering with him almost always leads to something more and you ended up spending too long in it—ended up getting dirty again. But this time—probably because you both are tired from the long day—you two shower quickly, eager to be lying in bed.

“I don’t wanna do the facemask tonight. I think I’m gonna go straight to sleep,” you speak out as you watch Baekhyun grabbing two packages of the facemask.

“Just do it. I’ll take it off if you fall asleep.” Your answer is a sigh.

After dressing in your pajamas and doing the last steps of your nightly skincare routine, you finally lay on the heavenly bed with your cool mask on. Baekhyun lays by your side and his eyes are already stuck on his phone, scrolling through his Instagram where his friends are already posting the picture and highlight videos of the birthday party earlier tonight.

“Babe,” he calls and you just hum, shutting your eyes at the feeling of Baekhyun nudging at your hand. “Should we go to Soo’s bakery for breakfast tomorrow? I wanna try his carrot cake.”

“Yes, sure. Just don’t forget to set up an alarm.”

“Alright.” That’s the last thing you hear before you finally fall asleep with your facemask still on.

The next morning when you wake up, it’s already almost ten a.m. and Baekhyun forgot the setup the alarm last night. But it’s alright, though. You still manage to the catch the brunch hour at Soo’s bakery and Kyungsoo has already kept a carrot cake for both of you. The both of you have a window seat and your heart feels so full just watching your fiancé sitting across the table, cheeks bulging as he munches the cake and the warm sunlight shines over his side, bathing him in sunlight. The sight means a lot to you and you store the image inside your head like your favorite—and in your phone too because you just can’t resist.

(When you post the picture later with ‘fiancé’ as the caption, your friends are going crazy in your comment sections. It makes you happy, but what makes you happiest is when Baekhyun sees the post and tackles you into a hug and lathers your face in kisses.)

Meeting Sebastian Stan. 

This is not an opportunity I ever expected to have, at least not anytime soon. When he was first announced to be a guest at MCM Comic Con (London, May 2019) I had a bunch of people tagging me in the announcement post. Sebastian is an actor that means a lot to me - He’s caring and has struggled with a lot of the same things that I struggle with; from anxiety to depression, and generally being a bit lost in the world. We’ve all seen the posts of him commenting on fan’s posts, giving them advice while simultaneously putting more positivity and support into the world. For this reason, and more, he is incredibly inspiring and important to me. I aspire to be as supportive, caring, loving, goofy and giving as this man. 

So, when he was announced, I knew I had to meet him. For me, it wasn’t an option: I had to. It was simply too important for me not to. 

One thing I had wanted to do before I met him was get a tattoo of the Winter Soldier, however, due to money issues and time, etc, I had never had the opportunity to get one before comic con. Until comic-con. Another opportunity came up when MCM announced that they were having tattoo artists at the convention, and so I booked in with a lovely lady by the name of Laura, from Empire INK in Edinburgh. Thankfully, I managed to save up enough money for the tattoo - Through both selling possessions and saving up money from my day-job. 

She was absolutely lovely and great with communicating the design I had in mind. I wanted something to match the other tattoos on the opposite arm; a portrait, with his signature at the bottom (on my opposite arm I have a Hela portrait). The Bucky tattoo would be on my left inner forearm, covering self-harm scars with something - someone/a character - that means so much to me. Bucky, much like myself, has been through a lot of mental issues. He’s lost, finding his way, but despite all of the issues he’s had? He’s made it through it all, he’s continued fighting despite all of the challenges he’s faced... and that’s something I can remind myself: I can fight and get through the challenges I face. I will survive, and have survived. The significance of this tattoo, and getting Sebastian to sign it, was and is extremely important to me. 

Which leads to the first picture. 

First picture.  So, on the first day of comic-con (the Friday) Sebastian wasn't there. This was the day I booked in for a full-day session for my tattoo. Laura, my artist, was absolutely ecstatic as she’s also a fan of the guy, and was super pumped to find out that Sebastian would be seeing her work. The session lasted for, roughly, seven hours with only one five-minute break for both my artist and I to have something to eat. During the course of the tattoo, the MCM staff came up to view the process of the tattoo; the security were very excited about it, and got the media team to come down to the section of the hall where all of the tattoo artists were. It was all very exciting, talking to them was lovely - They were all so supportive, kind and frequently returned throughout the course of the day to see the process. Alas, the media team turned up and took a few photos: One of which winded up on the MCM social media sites: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter. Both Laura and I freaked out, it was getting a lot of attention. 

Second/third picture.  Saturday came around fairly quickly. This was the day where I would try to get my autograph - The day I HAD to get it, as to not disturb the healing process of my tattoo. I was dressed as Wakanda Bucky that day, deciding to cosplay something more comfortable due to both the pain from my arm, the hot weather, and the fact that I couldn’t restrict my arm in tight costumes. 

Before the convention, I had put together a little gift-box for Sebastian to give back to him the love, care and gratitude he gives to his fans. Inside, there was a Winter Soldier book (Civil War) that I had made him; personalised on the inside to, firstly, look like it held Winter Soldier documents which lead on to messages I had collected from fans. All stories about how he had changed their lives for the better, how he had made a positive impact on the world. I included other gifts, too, like a t-shirt (that says ‘Straight Outta Cryo’, much like his ‘Straight Outta Romania’ shirt), some drawings of mine, a Bucky, Nat and Sam tsum-tsum and a little lego figurine of Bucky. 

So, with the box in my arms, I waited for about an hour and a half in the autograph queue. Although I missed his panel, it was worth it, because I knew that if I had attended that I would only spend more time waiting, and less time with my friends later on. 

While waiting in the queue, I was alone and full of anxiety. This was a big moment for me. I’d actually see him. Meet him. Something I’d been waiting for years and years to have the opportunity for. People were trying to snag sneaky pictures of him: going on their friends shoulders just to get a peak of the infamous Seb Stan. 

Eventually, it was my turn to walk up to the table where he was signing. Due to the sheer amount of people that were there, it was very rushed, for they wanted to get through as many people as possible: I knew this going in, and so I’d been going over and over what I’d say to him in my head. With a smile, he greeted me; it was clear that he was tired, having flown in the previous morning and hadn’t stopped working since. Rumour has it he worked through his breaks to continue meeting fans - between the photo-ops, the panels and the signings he must have been really exhausted, with jet-lag on top of that, and so I felt really bad for the guy. 

In brief words I explained my gift to him, and he smiled and let out a laugh upon hearing what the t-shirt said. At the time he didn’t open the box, because it was simply too busy to do so and the convention staff were pushing him to continue  going through as many people as he could. In the panel I had missed, or the panel the next day (I can’t remember which one) I believe he referenced this and said how he wished he could spend more time with us all, and talk to us all properly. I still treasure every second I got to spend with him, though, because as previously stated, it was a moment that is extremely close to heart, and I know a lot of people wouldn’t have had this opportunity (this was also why I gathered fan messages, so that I could give him something from them in-case they never do have this opportunity). 

The convention staff got me to show him what I wanted signed: Most people brought posters, or pop-vinyls, but I showed him my arm and said I’d like my wrist tattooed. He delicately held my hand and arm as he signed it, and then I was on my way once I had thanked him. 

Afterwards, I immediately called up my bestfriend and burst into tears. I had met him. I had thanked him. I had given him a gift and, now, I would have his autograph on me forever, knowing that I have a very personal reminder to myself: I can do this. Whatever ‘this’ is, I can do it. 

Due to the overwhelming emotions I was having, the busy crowds, the heat, and the pain and toll the tattoo session the previous day had caused me, I did have quite a big panic-attack. During this time, I had to go outside and get some fresh air, but my best-friend stayed on the phone with me and calmed me down - I am eternally grateful for his friendship and support, and for moments like these when he helps ground me back to reality. 

This leads on to the next photo; where, once I’d had some fresh air, a drink and some food, I went back inside to get the signature tattooed. Once again, Laura and I freaked out over it, and I told her all about it excitedly as she finished up tattooing the autograph and shading around it. She even went back over the little red star at the top of my wrist, which Seb had signed over. Laura did an amazing job with the tattoo, and worked the signature into it flawlessly. I can’t thank her enough. 

Sunday.  This was the day that my photo-op was booked (that was an entire process of its own. Tickets sold out within 2-3 minutes - I am so, SO thankful that I managed to snag one). Much like the autograph process, the MCM staff were trying to get through as many people as possible, and so the entire thing was very ‘click and go’. Generally, this is the case with photo-ops at conventions - It’s less personal, more of a ‘capture the moment’ type of thing. 

On this day, I was dressed as Black Widow from The Winter Soldier. It wasn’t the best costume I have ever worn, admittedly, but I was excited for my photo-op none the less. My costume broke on the way to the con, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me, and once again I was waiting in a long line for one last moment with Sebastian. 

I knew that he likes Bucky and Natasha’s relationship in the comics, and that he would’ve liked them to be together in the movies. This is a ship that I also sail, along with Stucky, but I thought that being Nat would be a lot better as it’s also something that he enjoys. I actually managed to capture a sneaky video on my phone of me approaching him during the photo-op. They were very strict about no-photos apart from the one you paid for, which I understand, but at the same time, this was too important for me not to try and grab sneaky videos, etc. So I did. Sue me. (Please don’t, I’m going to be a poor student soon). 

As I approached him during the photo-op, he looked a lot less tired, which I was thankful to see. He greeted me with a smile once more, and I showed him my finished tattoo - I kind of stood my ground and spoke to him very briefly before the photo-op was taken. Most people were conveyor belted through their sessions with him, but I was determined to show him the finished product. With a smile and an expression somewhat akin to awe, he said that it was amazing. We soon moved onto talking about what I wanted for the photo-op, and it took a split second for us both to get into position. 

I wanted to look as if we were dancing romantically, as Natasha has a history of ballet. The final photo in the post was my photo-op, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It was a very full-on weekend, but I enjoyed every second of it. 

Thank you MCM for giving me, and others, the opportunity to meet such an amazing man. Thank you Sebastian for flying all the way to London to take the time to meet your fans in England. Thank you Laura, for being an amazing tattoo-artist and for the nerdy talks we had during my tattoo session, and for giving me a piece of work on my art that is very, very treasured to me; and, finally, thank you to all of my friends for supporting and loving me, for continuously encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and to keep on fighting. 

And continue fighting on I will, just like Bucky.
