"Lie down." You took the banana you were cutting up with intentions of making it into a smoothie, and pointed it at her.

"I don't want to." She repeated, crossing her arms, putting her chin up, challenging you.

"Kim Taeyeon." You called her name, confronting her in the same way.

"Will you throw me that banana?" She questioned, raising her eyebrows "It's the only one left." She reminded.

"Whatever it takes?" She took two steps back, stretching her arms out to hold onto the edges of the archway that led into your kitchen "Well, catch me if you can." She sentenced, using the support on the timbers to generate momentum and turn on her heels, then dashed off.

"I'll do whatever it takes." You affirmed "On the couch." You ordered.

You threw the banana you were holding in your hands in the direction of her small figure that was now running away from you, as if you thought the impact would be hard enough to knock her down.

However, the banana missed.

You paused for a moment to look at the fruit scattered on the ground, thinking that now you would not be able to finish your smoothie, and you would also have to clean up.

After the realization that your olympic toss hadn't helped at all, you ran out the way your girlfriend had fled earlier. You stopped in the hallway to analyze which door she might have entered through.

The bathroom? Why would she go into the bathroom?

The dressing room? Could she have been hiding among the clothes?

The bedroom? Definitely in there.

You carefully open the door and step into the room you share with Taeyeon. Making as little noise as possible while walking, you scanned the place in search of her.

"Taengoo?" You uttered finally as you weren't able to find the girl anywhere.

Silence.

You ran your eyes around the room, scanning it again. Your gaze finally falling on a certain place: the bed. More precisely, under it. You wouldn't want to think she was there, because of how obvious it would have been to hide there, but it was the only place unchecked.

"Love?" you called out to her again.

This time being reciprocated by a bark coming from Zero, who was, effectively, under the bed.

"Zero-yah!" You heard your partner whine, only to have the little puppy subsequently come out of hiding and start jumping at you, asking you to pick him up.

From under the mattress peeked Taeyeon's head, who was watching you, frustrated, with a pout on her lips.

"Get out of there and lie down." You resumed the topic that had caused this whole situation.

"Taeyeon! You have a fever!" You reproached her with an incredulous tone.

"I have to go to work." She explained, expressionless, obvious.

You weren't able to assimilate your girlfriend's behavior. For almost two years now, she hadn't stopped working, as if she didn't already have enough money. You admired her, of course you did. One of the big reasons why you were so in love with her was that vehement passion for what she does. But everything has a limit, and she was exceeding hers.

You could understand if Taeyeon was turning down a whim of yours for her to stay at home with you, but this time, she was sick and still wanted to get into that studio where she spends hours and days.

You had to intervene, of course you had to intervene, for her sake.

"What are you thinking about?" Her voice interrupted your train of thought and you turned your gaze to her head, which, as she hadn't fully come out of hiding yet, was still peeking out from under the place where you both slept.

"Bullshit," she denied as she pulled her body out from under there "you weren't thinking about that, but okay."

"That you're not up yet."

She left the room and started walking around the house. At first you didn't understand what she was doing, but then you could see that Taeyeon was gathering her things

to leave.

"Yah!" You exclaimed as you saw her head for the front door.

After hearing your shout and realizing you had already read the situation, she tried to run as fast as she could towards her freedom, but your legs are longer, so you were in time to catch her by the waist and gently push her back.

"You're worse than a toddler." You scolded her by pointing your finger at her.

"I don't care."

"Love, I'm just fine." She assured, whining.

You walked until you were close to her, then bent down. She looked at you, not getting what you were doing. You put your arm behind her knees, causing her to lose her balance, to which she squealed in surprise, and using that opportunity, you lifted her up and rested her on your shoulder.

It's not that you were a person with a lot of strength. It's just that Taeyeon is practically a plant.

"Hey! This can't be legal. You're holding me against my will!" She kicked, hit your back, and even bit your shoulder, trying to get you to put her down.

Finally, you gently set her down on the bed you share, giving her a kiss on the forehead, opening the sheets so you could cover her with them.

"Yes, I will," you took off your slippers and climbed onto the bed, gluing your body to hers and wrapping her in your arms "you can never resist me."

"You won't buy me with love, you bastard." She said, putting on a voice that sounded like gollum in the Spain dub and turning to the side to turn her back to you.

She turned abruptly to look at you with a judgemental grimace, unable to believe your outburst of self-esteem.

"I'm sorry." You murmured, looking at her sweetly, as if in your eyes you carried tenderness itself.

"You're not lying, but you could be more modest." She advised with a raised eyebrow, and the corners of her lips turned down.

Taeyeon gently held your face in her hands, brushing your cheeks with her fingertips, giving your jaw a support with her palms. She leaned in close enough for your nostrils to nuzzle and then moved her head subtly up and down to extend the gesture. You were in such a trance before her adoration that until she moved her lips, you didn't notice that she was kissing you. You raised your hand, resting it on her chest, and pushed her away.

"You have a fever, don't kiss me!" You shrieked.

"Are you kidding me!?" She replied, frustrated "You won't let me go to work, I'm sick, you chased me and held me against my will, and now I can't even kiss you?" She collapsed between the pillows, covering her face with her hands, dejected.

"Kim Taeyeon, we need to talk."

"If you break up with me, you're ugly." She sat up quickly, pointing accusingly at you.

"Seriousness."

"Okay, seriousness." She furrowed her eyebrows.

"You're working too much."

"How can I ever be working too much? If it's work, it can never be too much." She interrupted you.

"Taeyeon, you're overworking yourself." You repeated, dropping the playful tone and sounding worried.

"My love, you lost weight, you hardly sleep and you even eat little." You took her hands "You haven't taken a break in years." Your eyes met, in her face you noticed that she knew what you were saying was true.

"It's not like that..."

"Yes, honey, I know." She said, looking down to her hands.

"You're sick right now. Is it really so terrible for you to stay at home for a few days and do nothing?"

She averted her gaze to the side, trying to suppress a smile.

The reality was that it generated butterflies in her belly that you took care of and worried about her.

But you don't know that.

"It wouldn't be so bad." She whispered, succumbing to your words.

"Wouldn't it?" You smiled broadly.

"It wouldn't." She agreed "But I have one condition," you put on your serious face again "you have to kiss me."

"Taeng..."

"Of course I'll kiss you, just stay there." You fell backward onto the mattress, taking her with you, only to position yourself on top of her and press a kiss to her plumpy lips.

"Okay, then I have to go to practice." She tried to stand up, only to be stopped by your embrace.

A/N: You know I wasn't expecting to get an snsd ask so soon after putting them on my list, but I certainly ain't complaining.

Maybe it was the small things you did; taking care of her while sick, or just remembering her favorite snack when she's not having a particularly good day.

What ever it was, she loved you for it, and the day she realizes it will be one she will never forget.

It was a quiet realization for Taeyeon

She was just kind of staring at you while zoning out, and her thoughts were about this and that until it came to a small, almost inconsequential things you had done that day for her

And then her thoughts just kind of spiraled into the other things you have done for her over the time you had known each other

And then it progressed to what that made her feel

A small smile coming to her face once she figures out just how much you mean to her

For Sunny, it would definitely be an "oh shit" moment

Like, this woman is usually very sure of herself, but since the emotion was a gradual thing, she didn't realize until you said the words first

And then it was like, "actually, that makes sense"

harin’s masterlist

Harin sat in her car, holding onto the steering wheel as she breathed heavily. She was sitting in the parking lot of her doctor’s office, having just had a checkup.

During her checkup, her doctor suddenly said that he wanted to do an ultrasound, saying he just wanted to be thorough. Harin thought nothing of it as she knew that doctors were told to do certain procedures if they thought it was necessary. Upon getting her ultrasound and returning to her room, the doctor told her that she was pregnant. “A cryptic pregnancy,” he had explained before telling her that the size of the baby made him think she was six months into her pregnancy.

He referred her to one of the OBGYN’s in the doctor’s office, where she did a full checkup to see how the baby was doing — perfectly fine, luckily — and to see how she was progressing. The OBGYN confirmed that she was six months pregnant, around 30 weeks.

She left the checkup with a big envelope containing her ultrasound scan, the gender of her baby, and a pamphlet for first-time-moms. The OBGYN seemed to register her shock and didn’t ask her questions that had nothing to do with the pregnancy and gave her time to organise her thoughts. Although Harin wasn’t able to express it, she felt very grateful.

Taking a steadying breath, she groaned. “Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!”

With no other plans for the day, she decided to just go home. She knew Dongwook was filming a drama and wouldn’t be home until after she planned on eating, giving her quite a lot of time to herself seeing as it was only two in the afternoon.

The drive home was a blur that she didn’t register until she was standing in front of her door, envelope in hand. With a sigh, she opened the door, her dogs rushing to her immediately. They jumped excitedly by her feet as she walked to the family room.

She threw the envelope onto the coffee table, looking away from it immediately. She sighed. “What the fuck?” She brought her hand up, absentmindedly rubbing her stomach. There was no bump, no swelling, no sign of a baby. But there was a baby.

She spent the rest of the afternoon on the couch, sitting there quietly until Dongwook came home. The sun had already set and the dogs were playing with an old pillow, biting at it and dragging it around.

“Harin-ah!” Dongwook called out.

“I’m in here!” She responded, looking up from the spot on the wall she had been staring at.

A few seconds later, her husband appeared, a plastic bag in his hand. “Hey,” he said, moving to sit next to her. He placed the plastic bag on the coffee table. “I bought dinner.”

“Is it already time for dinner?” She asked, checking her phone.

“Yeah. Are you okay?”

She nodded hesitantly. “I think I’m just a bit tired.”

“Okay. I’ll go warm up the food.” He began to stand up but was stopped by Harin placing her hand on his thigh.

“No, I’ll do it. You rest.” She stood up and grabbed the bag before walking to the kitchen. She pulled the takeout containers out, putting them into the microwave. Whilst she was there, she pulled out a container of homemade dog food and put some inside their food bowls.

Dinner was a quiet affair. Dongwook was tired from filming all day and Harin was deep in thought. They made sure to recycle the takeout containers and clean up in the kitchen, washing any dishes that had spent the day in the sink, before going to their room.

“I’m going to take a shower,” Dongwook told her as he walked into the bathroom, “my muscles are a bit tight.”

“Okay.” Harin nodded. She sat on the bed, gnawing at her bottom lip. She had brought the envelope upstairs with her, and she stared at it where it was on her bedside table. “Fucking hell,” she groaned angrily when she heard the shower turn on, rubbing her hand over her stomach. She groaned after a few seconds and changed into her pyjamas (which was just an old shirt and a pair of Dongwook’s shorts).

Getting into bed, she scrolled on her phone, reading messages and emails she hadn’t looked at yet. A few minutes went by and the water stopped. Dongwook reappeared, smiling slightly as he got into bed.

“Feeling better?” She asked, running her hand through his damp hair.

He nodded, leaning against the headboard with a groan. “Yes.” He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. “All I needed was some hot water,” he said as Harin began to massage his scalp. He angled his head closer to her so it would be easier for her.

“Are you tired?”

“So fucking much,” he mumbled.

“Then you should go to sleep,” she said, removing her hand. His eyes popped open so he could stare at her, and she stared back. “Sleep.”

He groaned. “If you continued doing that, I would have fallen asleep in no time.”

The couple settled in bed, turning their lamps off. Harin lay on her back, staring up at the ceiling as she thought about the day. She heard Dongwook’s breathing begin to even out. “I’m pregnant,” she whispered into the quiet of the room.

To her right, she heard Dongwook shuffle in bed before his lamp switched on. He turned to face her, shock evident on his face. “What?”

Harin nodded, pursing her lips as she continued to look above her. “I’m pregnant. Six months, in fact.”

“Six months?”

She sat up, leaning against the headboard as Dongwook did the same. Reaching to her bedside table, she handed him the envelope that she was given by her doctor.

“I haven’t really checked it,” she told him as he looked down at it, “but there it is.”

Dongwook’s fingers flexed around the corner of the envelope. “What? You’re… What?”

Grabbing one of his hands, she placed it on her stomach. There wasn’t a bump, hence the cryptic pregnancy, but just the knowledge that there was a baby in there made her feel different. “A baby, Dongwook,” she said, still not looking at him.

“But we– we use condoms.”

He was trying to figure it out, understand it. She had done the same thing for almost an hour as she sat on the couch, going over the past six months. And that was when she remembered.

“We didn’t in January. I must have forgotten to take the pill afterwards. Or maybe I did and it just didn’t work. It’s common.”

Placing the envelope on his lap, Dongwook angled his body towards Harin. “Are you okay? Talk to me, Harin-ah.”

Harin sighed. “I know we’ve talked about having, but we haven’t planned for kids. I have, what? Three months of my pregnancy left. We need to start preparing a nursery, we need to buy baby products, we need to read a shit ton of books, we–” She interrupted herself with a deep inhale. “I don’t know that we are at a place to be having kids.”

He nodded. “I’m busy with filming so I won't be home often. And you’re having a comeback and tour next year,” he added.

“Yeah…”

“But I think we can make it work. Our life now won’t be our life three months from now.” He squeezed her hand. “We both want kids, right?” He waited for her to nod. “We’re financially stable, we aren’t having marital issues, and we’re mentally prepared for kids. What could go wrong?”

Harin breathed out a laugh. “Your optimism is admirable.”

“Your pessimism is annoying,” he quipped, bumping her shoulder with his. “We can do this.”

“Within the next three months. And then the rest of our lives.”

“Yes. And just think about how shocked everyone will be once we tell them you’re pregnant.”

Harin laughed, throwing her head back. “It will be hilarious.”

He rubbed his thumb against the back of her hand. “How do you feel about this now?”

“Surprising better. Now that I’ve talked with you. A little terrified, a little… excited. You?”

“Pretty much the same.” He smiled warmly at her. “Do you want to open the envelope?”

She inhaled sharply. “Well– I… Yes.”

“Yes?”

“Yes,” she said. “I do.”

He nodded and picked up the envelope, investigating the outside. He opened it, peeping to see what was inside. “Well, this will help us,” he said, pulling out a pamphlet titled What to Expect?. He pulled out another one, Necessary Baby Items.

Harin took the pamphlets and placed them in her lap. She skimmed through the first one, reading one sentence on every other page.

Dongwook reached into the envelope, freezing when he touched a slightly thick, glossy paper. He pulled it out slowly, breathing out a gasp when he saw the baby printed onto the paper. He looked to his left to see Harin staring at the ultrasound.

“That’s our baby,” she whispered.

“It’s so big. And small.” His eyes returned to the paper, tracing it with his finger.

Harin chuckled, putting her hand on her stomach. “And it’s right here.”

“Do you know the gender?” Dongwook asked.

She shook her head. “I think the doctor wrote it down somewhere.”

Dongwook put his hand in the envelope again, feeling around for another piece of paper. When he didn’t feel one, he took his hand out. He stared at the ultrasound for a second before thinking of something. He turned it around and smiled softly when he saw the writing there.

“Congratulations, it’s a girl!” He read.

Harin smiled as well. “Well, if I couldn’t have a sister, at least I can have a daughter,” she joked.

They gathered all the stuff back into the envelope, putting it on Dongwook’s bedside table. They lied down in bed again, turning the lights off.

“When do you want to start telling people?” He quietly asked. He had placed his hand on her stomach and was rubbing it with his thumb.

“Whenever we feel ready, I guess,” she said just as softly, placing her hand over his. “We can do it tomorrow, we can do it next week. I’m fine whenever.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

Hannah watched Harry’s concert from the backstage area as if it was the first time.

It didn’t matter how many concerts she attended, she’d always be shocked at how Harry had the talent to make it different, not two were the same. 

Fortunately, their schedule matched while she was in London for a quick photoshoot for LV and he was there with his tour. Hannah felt so happy she would be able to, at least, watch him doing his favorite thing ever in the middle of the whole chaos of their agendas. 

From where she was standing, she could have a perfect view from his left side profile that she loved so much and the right side of the stadium, which, as usual, was sold out. Drinking a good sip of her beer, Hannah wasn’t worrying about anything but enjoying that moment. 

Every time during a break, Harry would look over at her, wiking or throwing kisses, just to make sure she was being noticed and to reassure her that her presence mattered to him, and Hannah felt like falling for him even more.

By that time, the arena was alive with energy, the crowd’s roar echoing off the walls. Lights flashed in rhythm with the music, and Harry stood in the center stage, pouring his heart into the final chorus of “Golden", Hannah's favorite song. 

But Harry's body language suddenly changed and he tensed out suddenly, making Hannah frown as she drank a bit more of her beer, already warm. 

As Hannah scanned the audience, even stepping out of the backstage area a bit, making some fans scream for her, a board caught her eyes, probably the same that made Harry mad, with large, bold letters painted in black, the fan screaming "Hannah is a slut" with all her lungs. 

She knew some fans didn't like her. In fact, she'd even say they hated her. But it's not like Hannah wasn't used to people having mixed feelings about her. Like, come on, she was a k-pop idol.

But, as for Harry, the words hit him like a punch to the gut. It was his first ever time watching all the threats and misunderstood concepts of his fans in respect of his girlfriend coming to life. 

For a moment, everything else - the music, the crowd, the lights - faded into a blur, and his smile faltered. 

In the back of his head, even with the in-ear monitors on, he could listen to Hannah's voice telling him that it was okay, to let that go, but his voice trembled slightly as he finished the song, trying to push through the surge of anger bubbling beneath the surface.

As the final note rang out, the arena erupted in cheers, but Harry’s eyes remained locked on the sign. He took a deep breath, stepping away from the mic stand.

Just like Hannah did, the band noticed the shift in his demeanor, the subtle tension in his movements. The audience, sensing something was off, began to quiet.

"What is happening?" Hannah heard Harry's management team murmuring. "Why is he stopping?" 

"Is he okay?" someone else, the stylist, asked. 

"There's a fan with a board calling me a slut." Hannah said and the whole team went silent. "He can't stop the concert because of that." 

"Harry," the sound director said in the mic connected directly to Harry's monitors. "let's move on. We're almost done." 

However, Harry walked back to the center of the stage, his voice calm but firm. 

"Can we talk for a moment?" he asked the fans, taking his in-ear monitors off, making the whole team sigh. 

The crowd hushed, anticipation thick in the air. Fans near the front exchanged confused glances as this wasn’t part of the show. Hannah, on the other hand, placed a hand on her chest, trying to calm herself. 

Harry pointed to the section where he’d seen the sign. 

"You," he said, his voice steady but intense. "with the sign.".

There was a ripple of murmurs as the sign-holder hesitated, as if they couldn’t believe they were finally being noticed. The security approached, ready to intervene, but Harry raised a hand, stopping them. 

“No, let them stay.”, he told them. 

Hannah felt her heart in her throat. She wanted to tell him it was okay, that it was just some random person seeking attention. Yet, deep down, she knew it ran deeper than that - there were layers of racism and prejudice beneath the surface. 

Harry scanned the crowd, his voice carrying a quiet, intense fury that commanded attention. He couldn’t comprehend the hatred some fans had for Hannah. She had done nothing but bring him happiness and love. Why would they target someone so important to him? To Harry, being a true fan didn’t include tearing down the person he loved.

“Hannah is someone I love,” he began, his voice strong and clear. “She is so talented, kind, and one of the strongest people I know. She doesn’t deserve to be talked about like that. No one does.” Harry continued, his eyes scanning the audience. “Words matter. The things we say, the things we write. They have power. Saying something like this to someone is hurtful. It’s damaging.”

A wave of cheers erupted, but Harry raised his hand, signaling for silence. For what Hannah could tell, some people were even crying, the raw honesty in his voice struck a chord. 

“This isn’t just about Hannah. It’s about all of us. We’ve created a world where tearing people down is too easy. Where judgment is louder than kindness. That’s not the world I want to live in. That’s not the world I want my fans to be part of.” he continued. 

Harry’s gaze returned to the sign-holder, as did Hannah’s. 

“I’m not here to shame you. I’m here to ask you to be better. We all can be. Think about the kind of energy you’re putting out into the world.” he told the fan. The sign slowly lowered, disappearing into the crowd. Security moved to escort the person out, but Harry shook his head. “Let them stay. Maybe they’ll learn something tonight.”

The fact that he could still be kind after all that, made Hannah’s heart beat even faster - if that was any possible. She didn’t deserve someone like him, he was too precious for all of that.

The crowd erupted in cheers, the energy shifting, becoming something brighter, stronger. Fans near the front started chanting things like “we love Hannah”, “Hannah is the best”, making Harry smile while tears glistened in his eyes. 

“Thank you.” he said. 

The band took the cue and started the next song while Harry walked over Hannah’s direction, making her notice the tears she didn't even know she had cried. He opened his arms, giving her a quick yet loving hug, kissing her cheek and wiping her tears. 

“It’s okay.” he whispered to her. “I love you.” he reassured her. 

“I love you way more.” she answered in the same tone. 

“That’s impossible.” he answered before winking at her and going back to his spot.

Synopsis: Y/N was close friends with SNSD, particularly with Jessica and Taeyeon. It was rather an open secret in the group that Jessica liked Y/N due to a misunderstanding where Jessica overheard Y/N talking, she got the impression that you weren’t interested in her. Worse still, the incident happened and you ended up losing touch with Jessica soon after. However, in that period you grew closer, much closer with Taeyeon, even moving in together last year. Fate though seems to have a different plan or perhaps it just decides to open up closed roads for you….

And as you walk around with Taeyeon, someone on the bench catches your eye, for some reason you feel drawn towards her, you stagger and take a moment to focus on the mystery person.

“Y/n? You okay what are you….”, Taeyeon falters in her question as her eyes land on same person as you. “Oh.”, her voice sounding slightly colder as she instantly recognizes her.

You make your way towards the woman, hesitantly tapping her on the shoulder, “Excuse me”….

She turns around and you get a good look at her and you are almost positive that this is indeed her, a friend you hadn’t seen in almost 5 years. But she just looks at you blankly, confused, “yes…?”

“Sorry, I just thought you were….”, Now you feel a bit stupid, was this not her, you could have sworn that….then you notice her smiling and you feel your eyes roll, a mixture of emotions flooding through.

“You fell for it Y/N”, Jessica teased gleefully. “Did you really think I wouldn’t recognize you?”, she asked as she suddenly pulled you into for a hug.

You sigh and hug her back, unable to stop smiling as well. It felt good, it had been so long since you met her but it still felt like not a minute had passed since the two of you were sneaking about in the SM building. She pulls back from the hug slightly to look at you and for some reason that makes you a bit tense, you feel your heart beat faster.

“Ahem”, Taeyeon interrupts, her arms folded and she’s tapping her feet impatiently.

Jessica tightens her hold on you for a second before she reluctantly lets go of you. “Taeyeon.”, she notes, the friendly and happy voice she used to greet you is gone.

“Jessica….”, Taeyeon replies.

The two women glared at each other for a few moments before forcing themselves to hug each other briefly. The tension between them is rapidly growing to the point you could almost physically feel it.

“What brings you here Sica”, you ask, using her nickname hoping things will calm down a bit, you had no idea why it was tense between them so much.

“Oh…I’m just here for work you know…like yeah…you know how it is right….”, she says distractedly, “but maybe I now have more reasons”, she smiles warmly at you.

You wonder what that could mean. “Right”, you smile back. “Well, if you aren’t busy you should come back with me to my-”

“You mean to OUR place”, Taeyeon interrupts and adds very clearly. “Yes sure why not. What could be the issue with that.”

The three of you are sitting at the dining table, you are at the head seat while Sica and Taeyeon are sitting facing each other.

“Nice place you have here Y/N”, Sica says smiling.

“It’s mine too. We live together, have been for a while now.”, Taeyeon interjects somewhat smugly.

“I didn’t ask.”, Sica replies with a forced smile but the sting in her voice makes it clear that Taeyeon is winning this round.

You try to change the topic sensing the hostility and it works…for a while atleast. A couple hours pass by, topics of the old days, catching up to the current times all happen and then Taeyeon looks to the clock. “Well, WE don’t want to hold you up any longer than you want to be, don’t worry if you need to leave, it’s not a big deal. I’m sure your manager will want you back at the hotel.”

“Actually….”, Jessica begins awkwardly, “I don’t have a manager anymore….I just came on my own to do some work, maybe explore a bit but the usual place I stay at is fully booked right now. Even though they can make exceptions for me, this time it’s a bit too late for that”.

Taeyeon’s alarm bells begin to ring as she sense which direction this conversation is headed and she kicks your leg under the table, warning you not to do it. However, you instead take that as a cue to do the opposite.

“I’m sorry to hear that Sica”, you begin sympathetically as Taeyeon nods trying not to smile. “But if you’d like, you can stay here for a few days”, you offer and Taeyeon immediately stops nodding, staring dagger at you trying to send the message but you didn’t notice.

“Oh really? You don’t mind?”, Sica turns to ask Taeyeon with a triumphant smile.

“Well, actually”, Taeyeon racks her brains trying to think of an excuse, “there’s only one bed at the moment because the other room is being painted. So I guess….”.

“Someone can sleep on the couch maybe?”, you suggest.

“Well, in that case, Jessica you can just sleep on the couch”, Taeyeon says dismissively.

“Where is Y/N sleeping then? Didn’t you say they slept here”, Jessica asks quickly.

“Well…since there’s no other way, they can sleep with me-I mean, on my bed this one time I guess”, Taeyeon answers like she doesn’t want this but has no other option.

“No.”, Jessica replied in a cold tone all of a sudden.

“Excuse me?”, Taeyeon wasn’t sure she heard Jessica right, no way Jessica could show that attitude and tone to her right?

“You heard me”, Jessica said just as coldly.

Both women staring at each other in a hostile manner.

“Why not.”, Taeyeon questions, slightly annoyed now.

“Well, the two of us have shared beds before, we can do that again. Y/N can take the couch.”, Jessica replies but sounds unconvincing.

“Huh but this is my-”, you start but Taeyeon shuts you up.

“Fine….I guess that works.”, Taeyeon reluctantly accepts Jessica’s suggestion.

Later that night you were twisting and turning on the couch, missing your bed. You sigh and take a deep breath. You were staring at the ceiling slowly falling asleep when you feel a hand on your shoulder.

“Y/N? You awake?”, Jessica quietly whispers.

“Hmm?” You sleepily reply. “Jes…Sica? You aren’t sleeping?”

“I did for a bit….but now I can’t…” she says quietly.

You sit up and yawn, making space for her and she sits next to you, getting into the blanket, leaning in close to you. It feels a bit weird. Like you were back in the past. You recall the movie nights and marathons you both did together. The two of you sit in silence, quietly enjoying the warmth and presence of the other.

“….you wanna watch a movie like old times?”, you ask breaking the silence.

Jessica smiles brightly, leaning into you a bit, fidgeting with her necklace,“I was hoping you would ask that.”

You smile back and soon enough you both had put on something. About an hour later, you both were just giggling and teasing each other, paying almost no attention to the movie. You try to playfully shove her to the side but Sica holds on to you and you end up falling on top of her. You both just stare at each other for a second before breaking into giggles again.

“Ahnnn…you are so mean”, Jessica pouts playfully, fidgeting with the necklace again.

You smirk and roll your eyes. “Wait….that necklace….is that…”, you observe in disbelief.

Jessica becomes quiet all of a sudden, you can just about notice her cheeks flush in the dim light and she smiles shyly, “Yeah, it is.”

You have a flashback from when you gave it to her 6 years ago on her birthday. It was a last minute gift that you got for her. It wasn’t anything fancy or anything. You didn’t even think she’d ever wear it to be honest.

“Uhm…Y/N?”, Jessica brings you back to reality and you realize you leaned in close to her. You cough and awkwardly pull away, feeling your cheeks redden.

She gets up and lays on one end of the couch while you are still on the ground, mentally punching yourself for making things awkward.

“Hey, sorry about that I didn’t realize I was….”, you stop as you realize Jessica has already fallen asleep.

You sigh and put the blanket on her carefully and go to the bedroom, finding Taeyeon sleeping.

“She looks so cute when she sleeps”, you think as you lay next to her and lose yourself to random thoughts before drifting off to sleep too.

You wince as sunlight hits your eyes, blinking unhappily before trying to turn away only to realize that you can’t turn…..because Taeyeon had her arm wrapped around you and buried her head in your back, sleeping peacefully while holding on to you. You take a deep breath and think what you can do to get up without waking her up. You think for a couple moments and try to shift a bit but she immediately stirs so you stop. You sigh and stay still. Minutes pass by and you decide you will try to get up anyway but at the last second you stop as you didn’t wanna wake her up at all. Somehow you manage to turn over, facing her. She was breathing quietly, you could feel her breath on your neck. Suddenly you had a very strong urge to kiss her forehead. It wasn’t your fault. Mostly. Taeyeon just looked really precious right now. As you deliberated with yourself, you make your choice and decide to go ahead with it. You gently kiss her forehead……then Taeyeon snuggles closer.

“Mmmm….you are so warm”, she said in her sleep.

You now feel your heart racing. Was this right, should you do this? You want to but….

The door suddenly flung open. “Y/N where did you go I had fallen asleep after we……what are you both doing?????”

Taeyeon kissed her teeth, “Jessica let me sleep…it’s too early right now….”

“Like hell I will. What are you both doing.”, Jessica demanded once again.

Taeyeon finally wakes up and looks to the door, “what do you mean, I’m….wait if you are there then….”, she turns to look at you and a look of surprise flashes through her face and it begins to redden. She pushes you away, “Y/N??? What are you doing!”

“That’s what I’ve been asking!”, Jessica agrees with her for once.

“No, girls, listen, it’s just a misunderstanding.”, you begin sheepishly.

“Explain yourself. NOW.” They said at the same time.

“Well, after we watched the movie and…ahem, you ended up falling asleep on the couch, I just-”, you began but were interrupted almost immediately.

“Wait wait wait. What do you mean watched the movie. With who…”, Taeyeons eyes drift to Jessica a flash of jealousy appears.

“ANYway”, you continue, hoping to calm things now, “Sica fell asleep on the couch so I just came to sleep here.”

Taeyeon blinks and then blushes hard, “wait does that mean that the person….”, she put her hand up to her temple, the spot you impulsively kissed.

You feel your face redden and you look away, avoiding eye contact. There’s silence now and you can feel Jessica glaring at you.

Breakfast was awkward and silent. Coincidentally all three of you finished at the same time. You were hoping that things will resolve by themselves but apparently that was too much to hope for.

The bustling atmosphere of a shared work event between TWICE and Girls' Generation (SNSD) filled the air with a mixture of excitement and anticipation. Among the members, Y/N, the 10th member and youngest of TWICE, was in a unique position, for she was in a loving relationship with Tiffany, a member of SNSD.

Tiffany was known for her vibrant personality and a smile that could light up a room, but she also had a fiercely protective side when it came to Y/N. The other members of SNSD had come to adore Y/N as if she were their own little sister, and they had accepted her with open arms into their close-knit family.

Meanwhile, Y/N was equally cherished by her TWICE unnies, who saw her as a precious little sister and close friend. They knew about her relationship with Tiffany, and the whole group had become like an extended family.

As the preparations for the event went into full swing, TWICE's snowflake was busy with her rehearsals while Tiffany and the other SNSD members were in their own practice rooms. The maknae had been a constant presence throughout the preparations, and her talent, charm, and youthful energy had won her a special place in the hearts of both groups.

As the day of the event arrived, the venue buzzed with excitement. Fans from all over the world had gathered to see their favourite K-pop stars perform, and both TWICE and SNSD were ready to deliver a show to remember.

Tiffany - Baby! 

Tiffany exclaimed, rushing to her girlfriend's side. She wrapped her girl in a protective embrace, her expression a mixture of relief and fury. 

Tiffany - What happened, sweetheart? Are you okay?

Y/N clung to Tiffany, tears streaming down her face as she explained the horrifying encounter with the staff member. Tiffany's protective instinct flared even brighter as she looked over at her fellow SNSD members. Their expressions mirrored her own, the love and concern for Y/N evident in their eyes.

Tiffany turned to the staff member, her voice laced with fury. 

Tiffany - You! What do you think you're doing? *glares*

The staff member stammered, realizing that they were surrounded by a group of determined women who would not stand for any harm to come to their beloved Y/N. The members of SNSD were ready to take action, and they were known for their close bond and sisterly protection.

As the staff member stuttered an apology, Taeyeon, the leader of SNSD, stepped forward with a stern expression. 

Taeyeon - You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't ever let us catch you doing something like this again.

Yuri - You won't get off easy next time. We won't tolerate any harm coming to our Y/N. *scowls*

With a mixture of shame and fear, the staff member quickly retreated, leaving TWICE's youngest in the protective embrace of her girlfriend and her newfound family. As the initial shock began to subside, Y/N felt a sense of safety and comfort that only came from being surrounded by people who loved and cared for her.

Taeyeon wrapped her arms around the young girl, her voice filled with warmth. 

Taeyeon - You're safe now, Y/N. We won't let anything happen to you.

The other members of SNSD echoed their agreement, and Y/N couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support she had found within the group. She was like a little sister to them, and their protective instincts were unwavering.

Tiffany kissed Y/N's forehead and began to whisper.

Just as Y/N was beginning to feel a little calmer, a group of familiar faces appeared on the scene. It was her fellow TWICE members, who had been alerted to the incident by the stage crew.

Jihyo, TWICE's leader and Y/N's mama, was the first to reach her kid, her expression filled with concern. 

Jihyo - Angel, are you okay? We heard what happened.

Nayeon - We're here for you, sweet girl. We won't let anything happen to you.

Y/N's heart swelled with gratitude as she saw the members of both groups standing together, ready to protect her. She turned to Tiffany, who was still holding her close, and whispered:

I love you all. I'm so lucky to have you in my life.

Momo, one of Y/N's fellow TWICE members, stepped forward and hugged her dongsang tightly.

Momo - We're like your big sisters, Y/N, and we'll always look out for you.

As the event continued, Y/N was never alone. She was constantly surrounded by the love and protection of both TWICE and SNSD, who had become her extended family. The incident had only served to strengthen their bonds, and Y/N knew that she would always be cherished and safeguarded by the people who had become her protectors and her family.
