The Coffee Theory
This theory is by the fantastic @jumbledstars on TikTok
This Theory is for everyone who felt betrayed or hurt by Aziraphale in the season 2 finale or just doesn’t trust The Metatron!!!
The theory goes that the coffee The Metatron gives Aziraphale made him "switch side"
When Metatron invited Aziraphale for a chat, Aziraphale made it clear that he does not wish to follow him until he took a sip from the coffee. Metatron quote on quote forces Aziraphale to drink it rather than offering it casually. After the first sip, Aziraphale suddenly agreed to chat with him. At that moment, Metatron bitterly glanced back at Crowley, catching his attention.
In the coffee shop, Metatron reveals his plan to make Aziraphale the new supreme archangel and commander of the heavenly host, which surprises Aziraphale as he wonders where he would get his coffee. This struck me as odd because we never saw him drink coffee in the series until now.
As Aziraphale walks home, his expression appears more disoriented than when he's in the bookshop, suggesting the coffee may be affecting his brain.
Aziraphale excitedly tells Crowley about the "good news," saying that Crowley can finally be an angel again. However, Crowley disagrees, seeing heaven as equally bad as hell.
Aziraphale comments, "Of course you would disagree with hell, you're the bad guys, but heaven..." This also strikes me as odd because Aziraphale doesn't usually talk about hell or demons in that manner anymore. The last time was during the car ride in season one before they crashed into Anathema.
Furthermore, Aziraphale wouldn't be motivated enough to make a change in heaven, as he and Crowley have been on Team Earth for a while now and seem content with it. Crowley notices this and tells Aziraphale, "We're better than that. YOU'RE better than that!" He senses that something is wrong with Aziraphale or at least suspects it.
After Crowley's confession and (let’s be honest) unexpected kiss (which left Aziraphale confused and regretful), Metatron returns to the bookshop, asking him if he's ready to go, contradicting what he said just 8 minutes ago about giving Aziraphale all the time he needs to make a choice. It's as if Metatron already knows what Aziraphale will choose.
I think Crowley's confession or kiss has momentarily snapped Aziraphale back to reality, as he shows genuine concern for his bookshop and is reluctant to leave. Although Metatron assures him that Muriel will look after it, Aziraphale still appears hesitant and confused.
When asked if he needs to bring something, Aziraphale seems lost and unsure of what to do. However, he eventually regains his composure and follows Metatron with a smile.
Thank you for reading! This theory came from @jumbledstars on TikTok and it’s way too good to ignore! Link to the original theory below!!!

There’s a theory that MC got transported into a book.
That why every time we click on dialogue to go to the next dialogue, it kind of sounds like pages turning.
Every since I read that, I can’t get it out of my mind. That’s such a cool theory/idea and it would add up on why some things are the way they are and why MC sees those visions.
I especially can’t stop hearing the pages turning every time I read the story now.

It ended being Kurama, I have mix feelings with this because I am happy that Himawari is going to be more important and that Kurama, or his clone, is back because his death was pointless and the main point was to nerf Naruto but really I don’t know how they are going to explain it.
⚠️This is not my theory!!⚠️, I read this on Reddit here is the link to the original post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Boruto/comments/1c5ytfy/trying_to_make_sense_of_the_newest_chapter_leaks/#lightbox
It is true that Bijuus can’t die as stated by Kushina.
Still Kurama wasn’t sealed in Himawari so it doesn’t make sense for him to be in her. I hope Kishimoto is going to find a good explanation for this one, for it I have a theory…
I am going to try to summarize it, it seems that Kurama manifested himself in her because part of Kurama chakra split while “making” Himawari (maybe Kurama did this on purpose for the future?) and that residual chakra strengthened when Kurama disappeared, it couldn’t go back to Naruto because he lost all off Kurama’s chakra in him and manifested instead in Himawari… That’s what feels more likely even thought momoshiki didn’t notice…
⚠️As I said before this is not my theory I read it from Reddit you can read the whole thing here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Boruto/comments/1c5ytfy/trying_to_make_sense_of_the_newest_chapter_leaks/#lightbox

Cool Bloodborne Theory I found
On a youtube video about the slug things in the nightmare frontier (I forgot what they're called) I found a cool theory about the kos parasites. Pretty sure it isn't true since I think it doesn't fit in the timeline, but I love the idea/concept regardless. "This creature made me remember the parasites of Kos. There exist a parasite in real life that usually infests snails, slowly growing inside them until they become big enough. They force the snail to reach a high elevation, where they then attract the attention of birds by making the snail’s vesicular eyes bright and girthy, more like flailing worms. Birds then look at the snails, attracted by their appearance as if they were juicy worms, eating them and then the parasite infesting the bird. There is a theory that the Schoolars that found Kos in the fishing village were infected with the parasite, making them erratic and attempt their ploy to attract the Great Ones. And maybe… maybe everything was just to make the parasite reach another Great One. Everything is just a sickly nasty cycle of a damn parasite." the name of the parasite is Leucochloridium paradoxum by the way.

Heyyy! I know its been a while but I’m back! After barely posting for the last two months, I’m back with my usual long af posts about EAH theories, headcanons, and questioning of plotholes.
Ok so like two days ago, I was on tv tropes looking through the EAH predictions page, where people wrote all of these predictions and theories about what route the show was gonna take….y’know…before it got cancelled. And I saw someone predict that the one of the revelations regarding the storybook of legends would be that if someone were to sign the real one, it would cause them to be possessed by the spirit of the ancestor who originally lived out the story before the legacy system was established, and therefore thats why so many generations afterwards were willing to act out those narratives. Now I’m not a hundred percent convinced that this WOULD happen if the show had been continued cause I mean there is some evidence against it, but its not most farfetched take I’ve heard in this fandom, so I’m willing to believe that it could’ve been a possibility. And there are some things in the franchise that I feel like to some degree could be read as a character getting “possessed”; namely two instances with Raven. The first taking place in the first book by Shannon Hale, where Raven puts on her mothers outfit for Legacy day for the first time and she sort of turns evil for like 5 minutes before snapping out of it. And idk about ya’ll, but to me that scene almost reads more as Raven being taken over by an external force rather than her acting out on her own conscience. And yes, its true the legacy day outfits have nothing to do with the storybook of legends, but they are in fact confirmed to be passed down from parent to child, implying that said outfits could go way back to the original ancestors. So that scene could be read as the dress being haunted by the spirit of the original Evil Queen and Raven being easily influenced by it since shes wearing it directly.
The second example is the more well known one. The scene in way to wonderland where Raven actually signs the book and goes full evil for like 2 minutes. This was actually mentioned as evidence by the original person who came up with this take. Now the scene is painted as Raven being overwhelmed and consumed by the amount of new power she has and almost loosing herself in the process. The original writer of the take however, went on to explain that this could’ve been the OG Evil Queen taking over Raven, meaning that even after the events of way to wonderland, her spirit still resides somewhere in Ravens body.
Again, this theory isn’t mine and while I’m not totally convinced, I have to admit it is a pretty interesting theory overall, and also I’ve seen takes that are way more far fetched than this could ever be. And to be fair, while the evidence provided for it is a bit flimsy, it does provide an interesting alternate way to see things in EAH. And I have to admit, the series would take a really mind blowing turn if it had continued and taken this route, I’d be hell curious to see what happened if this did turn out to be the case

Suddenly I am reminded of this genshin theory I saw on reddit a couple months ago about how they theorized that in Fontaine we will actually see a Celestial Nail fall on them. Mainly because of all the mentions of it happening in the current regions and from the Teyvat Storyline preview implying that the Hydro Archon knows not to make an enemy of a divine (but her judgement will lead to her nation's downfall)
Anyway, how are we feeling right now after the live?
Link again: (I also suggest reading through some of the comments, while some try to disprove this theiry, others are trying to figure how this would work game mechanic wise)

My question is: why was Aziraphale demoted from cherubim (in the highest ranks of the three sub-ranks, below seraphim the highest) and just a common ass angel?
Awhile ago @ouidamforeman made this post:
This shot through my brain like a chain of firecrackers, so, without derailing the original post, I have some THOUGHTS to add about why this concept is not only hilarious (because it is), but also...
It. It kind of fucks. Severely.
And in a delightfully Pratchett-y way, I'd dare to suggest.
I'll explain:
As inferred above, both Crowley AND Aziraphale have canonical Biblical counterparts. Not by name, no, but by function.
Crowley, of course, is the serpent of Eden.
(note on the serpent of Eden: In Genesis 3:1-15, at least, the serpent is not identified as anything other than a serpent, albeit one that can talk. Later, it will be variously interpreted as a traitorous agent of Hell, as a demon, as a guise of Satan himself, etc. In Good Omens --as a slinky ginger who walks funny)
Lesser known, at least so far as I can tell, is the flaming sword. It, too, appears in Genesis 3, in the very last line:
"So he drove out the man; and placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." --Genesis 3:24, KJV
Thanks to translation ambiguity, there is some debate concerning the nature of the flaming sword --is it a divine weapon given unto one of the Cherubim (if so, why only one)? Or is it an independent entity, which takes the form of a sword (as other angelic beings take the form of wheels and such)? For our purposes, I don't think the distinction matters. The guard at the gate of Eden, whether an angel wielding the sword or an angel who IS the sword, is Aziraphale.
(note on the flaming sword: in some traditions --Eastern Orthodox, for example-- it is held that upon Christ's death and resurrection, the flaming sword gave up it's post and vanished from Eden for good. By these sensibilities, the removal of the sword signifies the redemption and salvation of man.
...Put a pin in that. We're coming back to it.)
So, we have our pair. The Serpent and the Sword, introduced at the beginning and the end (ha) of the very same chapter of Genesis.
But here's the important bit, the bit that's not immediately obvious, the bit that nonetheless encapsulates one of the central themes, if not THE central theme, of Good Omens:
The Sword was never intended to guard Eden while Adam and Eve were still in it.
Do you understand?
The Sword's function was never to protect them. It doesn't even appear until after they've already fallen. No... it was to usher Adam and Eve from the garden, and then keep them out. It was a threat. It was a punishment.
The flaming sword was given to be used against them.
So. Again. We have our pair. The Serpent and the Sword: the inception and the consequence of original sin, personified. They are the one-two punch that launches mankind from paradise, after Hell lures it to destruction and Heaven condemns it for being destroyed. Which is to say that despite being, supposedly, hereditary enemies on two different sides of a celestial cold war, they are actually unified by one purpose, one pivotal role to play in the Divine Plan: completely fucking humanity over.
That's how it's supposed to go. It is written.
...But, in Good Omens, they're not just the Serpent and the Sword.
They're Crowley and Aziraphale.
(author begins to go insane from emotion under the cut)
In Good Omens, humanity is handed it's salvation (pin!) scarcely half an hour after losing it. Instead of looming over God's empty garden, the sword protects a very sad, very scared and very pregnant girl. And no, not because a blameless martyr suffered and died for the privilege, either.
It was just that she'd had such a bad day. And there were vicious animals out there. And Aziraphale worried she would be cold.
...I need to impress upon you how much this is NOT just a matter of being careless with company property. With this one act of kindness, Aziraphale is undermining the whole entire POINT of the expulsion from Eden. God Herself confronts him about it, and he lies. To God.
And the Serpent--
(Crowley, that is, who wonders what's so bad about knowing the difference between good and evil anyway; who thinks that maybe he did a GOOD thing when he tempted Eve with the apple; who objects that God is over-reacting to a first offense; who knows what it is to fall but not what it is to be comforted after the fact...)
--just goes ahead and falls in love with him about it.
As for Crowley --I barely need to explain him, right? People have been making the 'didn't the serpent actually do us a solid?' argument for centuries. But if I'm going to quote one of them, it may as well be the one Neil Gaiman wrote ficlet about:
"If the account given in Genesis is really true, ought we not, after all, to thank this serpent? He was the first schoolmaster, the first advocate of learning, the first enemy of ignorance, the first to whisper in human ears the sacred word liberty, the creator of ambition, the author of modesty, of inquiry, of doubt, of investigation, of progress and of civilization." --Robert G. Ingersoll
The first to ask questions.
Even beyond flattering literary interpretation, we know that Crowley is, so often, discreetly running damage control on the machinations of Heaven and Hell. When he can get away with it. Occasionally, when he can't (1827).
And Aziraphale loves him for it, too. Loves him back.
And so this romance plays out over millennia, where they fall in love with each other but also the world, because of each other and because of the world. But it begins in Eden. Where, instead of acting as the first Earthly example of Divine/Diabolical collusion and callousness--
(other examples --the flood; the bet with Satan; the back channels; the exchange of Holy Water and Hellfire; and on and on...)
--they refuse. Without even necessarily knowing they're doing it, they just refuse. Refuse to trivialize human life, and refuse to hate each other.
To write a story about the Serpent and the Sword falling in love is to write a story about transgression.
Not just in the sense that they are a demon and an angel, and it's ~forbidden. That's part of it, yeah, but the greater part of it is that they are THIS demon and angel, in particular. From The Real Bible's Book of Genesis, in the chapter where man falls.
It's the sort of thing you write and laugh. And then you look at it. And you think. And then you frown, and you sit up a little straighter. And you think.
And then you keep writing.
And what emerges hits you like a goddamn truck.
(...A lot of Pratchett reads that way. I believe Gaiman when he says Pratchett would have been happy with the romance, by the way. I really really do).
It's a story about transgression, about love as transgression. They break the rules by loving each other, by loving creation, and by rejecting the hatred and hypocrisy that would have triangulated them as a unified blow against humanity, before humanity had even really got started. And yeah, hell, it's a queer romance too, just to really drive the point home (oh, that!!! THAT!!!)
...I could spend a long time wildly gesturing at this and never be satisfied. Instead of watching me do that (I'll spare you), please look at this gif:
I love this shot so much.
Look at Eve and Crowley moving, at the same time in the same direction, towards their respective wielders of the flaming sword. Adam reaches out and takes her hand; Aziraphale reaches out and covers him with a wing.
You know what a shot like that establishes? Likeness. Commonality. Kinship.
"Our side" was never just Crowley and Aziraphale. Crowley says as much at the end of season 1 ("--all of us against all of them."). From the beginning, "our side" was Crowley, Aziraphale, and every single human being. Lately that's around 8 billion, but once upon a time it was just two other people. Another couple. The primeval mother and father.
But Adam and Eve die, eventually. Humanity grows without them. It's Crowley and Aziraphale who remain, and who protect it. Who...oversee it's upbringing.
Godfathers. Sort of.

So while rewatching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, I noticed a trend
A number of spirits we see have an animal form, specifically animals we recognize as "normal" for us. For example:
- Wan Shi Tong is an owl and his knowledge seekers are foxes
- Tui and La are koi fish
- Hei Bai is a panda
-The guardian of the mother of faces is a wolf (The Search)
Heck there's even the talking Baboon spirit and the monkey missing its face that we see in the Spirit World at the end of Season 1.
Basically every time we've seen a "normal" animal, they've been a spirit.
My point? I argue that Bosco is a spirit bear that's chilling and living the good life in the mortal world just because he can.
#that's my theory and I'm sticking to it#avatar the last airbender#avatar#atla#spirit world#atla headcanons#bosco the bear#bosco
