As long as I’m still interested in the things I make, then I’ll still share whatever I draw into this space :)

It’s nice to have other folks interested in the stuff I create because it’s exciting and fun to chitchat about it. But that’s all just bonus. I’m gonna make whatever I want whenever I want, no matter if others are interested in it or not lol

#I know that it used to be a rareship before episode 5 #but even after ep 5 #I got so many messages or comments across platforms that were along the lines of ‘boo radioapple boo!!’#but I just kept at it because 1. i was now a possessed woman and 2. i liked writing n drawing radioapple #I’d also get messages when I draw radiohusk like ‘ew mare is pro ship’ and after I learned what that meant #those disinterested folks still weren’t gone stop me lol #toxic yaoi is good shit #anyway all this to say everyone should just have fun with their hobby #I think if I had 2 followers I’d still post just as much #but the quality of my art would probably be pretty bad LOL #a huge reason why I started feeling motivated to improve was because really talented hazbin artists followed me #and suddenly I was like *OVERDRAMATIC ANIME GASP* ‘I can’t let them down…’#haha no but there is something about having an artist you admire start to follow you that makes you like ‘I must get stronger’#this is fun in its own way haha #i do try to keep that element from making me feel pressure tho #I mean yall have seen my chicken scratch doodles #ight enough rambling it’s 3am #(I went to bed too early T_T)

I don't imagine kitty Max is the biggest fan of nasty dog Carlos - he's always pulling his tail and trying to touch his ears and calling him gatito, but unfortunately that's not gonna matter a whole lot when Carlos scruffs him, shakes him a little and then rubs his stupid smelly face everywhere until poor Maxy is absolutely covered in his scent :/

Max definitely doesn't like the nasty dog scent on him of course that's why he has to make sure to properly clean Carlos with his tongue and rub his own scent all over him (effectively erasing the annoying mouse undertone in the process). Carlos can't complain he loooooves the purring delight in his lap ♡ Charles, however....

#hope everyone's well #for christmas I learned how to restuff stuffed animals and took two of my spouse's while they were away and restuffed them #b/c I wanted to focus on something they already had instead of getting them something new #and also I knew they'd trust me with their Guys even though I'm not really a sewing guy #to toot my own horn. it turned out great. dramatic improvement. I also sewed a dried lavender packet so one of them's scented now #the both of them together took almost the entire five-pound box of fancy stuffing I got #and the sewing skills I learned let me later remove a very annoying tag from one of my shirts and resew the seam so. highly recommend #also highly recommend needles that are good for hand sewing if you've got stupid hands. they're bigger and easier to wield #and find in the couch #anyway enough about that. hope the rest of your year is good too

The first movie was about Bruce's journey from not wanting to be Bruce Wayne, to realizing that he does in fact need to be Bruce Wayne, and that Bruce Wayne can be a force used for good just like Batman. Logically then, the second movie should explore the next immediate question on the table: okay, he needs to be Bruce Wayne. So who is Bruce Wayne? What kind of man is Bruce Wayne going to be? Bruce still feels defined by his trauma of his parent's death. Bruce Wayne still feels defined by his parents' shadows, by his father's legacy. He still feels defined by his grief. How does he make Bruce Wayne be something different?

Dick Grayson would serve as the PERFECT device for Bruce to discover who he can be. Because Dick Grayson is literally just a young Bruce, and Bruce sees that instantly (it's why he takes him in in the first place). So throughout the movie, as Bruce tries to help Dick process his grief, he's inadvertently processing his OWN grief. Dick Grayson unknowingly helps Bruce process his own trauma, and through their developing relationship shows him that Bruce Wayne can be more than a recluse, a failure, a man drowning in his own head- he can be a protector, a friend, a parent.

When Dick points a gun at Tony Zucco's head, Bruce talks him down, and all the words that he gives him are words he had wanted when he was a kid and his grief was fresh. Even though they're gone, you're not alone. I understand.

BATTISON NEEDS DICK GRAYSON TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP OF HIS CHARACTER GROWTH.

#robert pattison plays grieved and traumatized and miserable and intense and earnest so well.#you CANNOT tell me that he wouldn't absolutely slay the “talking dick down from killing zucco” scene #it'd be like the hospital scene with alfred but times a million #he'd play the perfect reaction to the grayson's deaths too #sprinting to dick and bodily trying to get him to turn away and not look #holding him tightly as dick dissolves into hysterics #the wet cat man steps up and learns how to take care of someone #and learning how to take care of someone else teaches him at the same time how to take care of himself #bruce's functionality and mental health improves when he takes in this kid #making sure that dick is eating enough leads to him starting to eat more #(partly bc alfred gently guilts him into it by saying he needs to set a good example for his ward)#supervising dick's sleeping habits puts a new perspective on his own sleeping habits #and he's like huh maybe I SHOULD get those five hours of sleep if I want to keep up with dick's energy tomorrow #and ofc when dick has nightmares and comes to find him he inevitably falls asleep on top of bruce #so he has to skip to patrol that night #dc #dc comics #dick grayson #batfam #batman #nightwing #batfamily #bruce wayne #dc robin #robin dc #batman and robin #the batman #the batman 2022 #battison

I like that Chimp Crazy is showing that private ownership of primates is wrong, but the filmmakers are also framing PETA as champions of animal welfare, which is... Not exactly accurate

#imo they're still being too lenient and compassionate to the chimp owners #bc they make good documentary subjects #but i dont think the result is an improvement in the lives of the animal subjects #i had the same problem w tiger king and this is by the same team #not enough engagement w dedicated conservationists #not enough detailing the many many reasons why keeping these animals privately is wrong #its horrific. that could make good tv too!!! shock value and such #but they dont seem to want to go there #maybe they will in future episodes #chimp crazy #animal welfare #would love to hear different perspectives on this
