Not waiting for a response she drags him into the kitchen where it erupts in greetings. Laughs and giggles are heard, taking a small peek you see her friends are also in there as well. Gawking at him as he respectfully greets them. Sighing, you grab your things and go up the stairs. “Hey y/n do you mind carrying the rest of our luggages? Please, thank you!” Nayoung shouts as you were half way up the stairs.

You felt left out you weren’t going to lie. But then again, when haven’t you. Nayoung has always made it easy to fit in, to make conversation even though most of the time the topic always shifted over to her but overall, it was easy for her to get involved. Not you, it took a while for you to barely start lowering your walls. Just the idea of forcing yourself out of your shell sends shivers. How can you? You get the feeling Nayoung’s childhood friends don’t really like you as they always stare and mutter things under their breaths. And like all the other times you visited, you spent your time on the couch petting the family cat. “I’m so happy he likes you. He hates people, if anything he still isn’t quite fond of Nayoung.” Her mother giggles as she takes the other couch. Staring lovingly at the two of you. A warm smile forms on your face as you continue to pet the cat sitting on your lap. Her husband walking over to sit next to her, a mug in his hand as he nods.

“Toby hates Nayoung for some reason. Even before she went off to college he’d always hide from her.” By then everyone has shifted themselves into the living room. The group surrounding Nayoung, the smile slowly drops when she sees her parents conversing with you. “You must be a gem if Toby trusts you that much.” Her mother claps her hands. Jaemin takes a seat across from you, fighting back the look of boredom on his face. He can’t help but analyze you. Can it be the same y/n he’s been texting? Since he’s arrived, he hasn’t had the balls to text her. There’s no way the chick he’s been sexting is his girlfriends best friend. If that’s the case, he’s screwed.

A scoff is heard from beside him, looking up and see Nayoung enter the living room. “He’s just a dumb cat. I’m sure he’s only using you as a cushion.” “Well if that’s the case, I’m honored.” You smile down at the cat who purrs. Jaemin notices the scowl on his girlfriends face. He wonders why, it’s not like she particularly likes Toby. Every time he’s come over she’s always going on and on about how the cat terrorizes everything. “You should be, and Jaemin too! Toby loves him!” Looking up and meeting eyes with Jaemin you gulp before looking down. A silence is met before Nayoung speaks up. “Well it’s still pretty early and I’m tired. Jaemin lets go to bed.” One by one, everyone walks off to their bedrooms which leaves you on the couch with the grey and white cat. Head butting your hand, a few hours go by and you haven’t gotten the heart to move him. The sleep drowsiness has disappeared and you made due on being on your phone for the time being. A notification is sent from your phone, Jaemin.

“Yes you do.” Jumping up, you see him standing at the bottom of the stairs. “Holy shit you scared me.” By the sudden jolt, Toby has taken it upon himself to get off your lap and plop down on his cat tree. Walking closer to you, you shift uncomfortably. You don’t know what to do, what can you do to make things better?

Silently getting closer, you open your mouth to explain yourself but he cuts you off. Instead he takes a seat besides you and smashes his lips on top of yours. A moan emits from you, it was quick and needy and you liked it. You liked it so much you even climbed on top of him. His arms coming around your waist to pull you closer. He smelled nice, his cologne hitting your nostrils and lips were soft and plump. Cupping his face to keep his lips on top of yours. A smile forming on his face before pulling away, “So you were the one teasing me huh?” A blush began to form on your face before awkwardly laughing. “So you’re my best friends boyfriend huh.” Clearing his throat he looks down uncomfortably. “Listen, I’m not the type to cheat okay? It’s just that I kinda had no choice but to be in a relationship with her and-“

“She trapped you yeah I know, she has done that with all of her exes.” Raising a brow he looks up at you. “Really?” Nodding, you sigh. “She can’t keep a man for the life of her so she forces one on them by using her father to get them to agree. He’s rich and powerful, wouldn’t be surprised he’d have you kicked out of college or have you be fired from your job. Blacklisted for any future opportunities and more.” “If I’d known earlier I would’ve tried avoiding crossing paths. Why are you friends with her?”

“I don’t know, I guess she was the only one who stayed.” “Stayed? What happened if I may ask.” “I don’t know, one second I had tons of friends who could rely on me and the next, I was hated.” You look down sadly. Startled when he plants a kiss on your cheek, a grin on his face as his eyes adoringly stare at you. “I’m glad I finally met you.” “I’m glad too-“. Reciprocating his kiss, you begin to grind on top of him. A groan from him only has you doing it again and again. Pushing him down on the couch as his hands roam all over your body. Piece by piece, clothes are scattered on the floor and heavy breathing gets louder. Your head is thrown back when you feel yourself stretch around him. A large hand going to cover your mouth. Leaning in, his mouth attaching itself onto your nipple and sucking. Sensitive, you begin to bounce on his lap. Hands on his chest as he guides you to go faster. Trying to keep the slapping sounds at bay. The feeling of him deep in your snatch had your head spinning, it truly has been a while since you’ve had sex. It was wrong that the first person you sleep with is your best friends boyfriend but you just love it so much.

And it seems you’re not the only one. For the remainder of the weekend the two of you have gotten closer. Sneaky glances thrown and secret meet ups. When in the kitchen alone, he smacks your ass before leaving a kiss on your cheek. A shit eating grin on his face when he meets with the others. Content he’s finally getting you back for all the teasing you’ve done. “Are you alright y/n? Your face is super red?” Nayoung’s mother says. “Probably a bad reaction to one of her creams. I keep telling her she doesn’t have to keep putting on so many products. Going natural is just as pretty.” Nayoung sends you a smile. Speaking up for you, a strong grip on your fork, you don’t bother to explain yourself. “I’m okay.”

Jaemin certainly didn’t like it. And he certainly didn’t like how easily you let her comment slide. “I try to say the same thing to you as well Nayoung. No reason you need fifty bottles of foundation. A day or two without it wouldn’t hurt babe.” He sends her a smile before taking a bite from his food. Tensing, Nayoung is left without words. Embarrassed by the looks her friends sends her. A scowl on her face as she desperately tries to change the subject. “So! Should we hit the beach later on?” “Yes!” Her friends clap. “Okay good! After we’re done we’ll pick out our bikinis!”

Bikini’s? Nayoung never mentioned there would be swimming involved? You didn’t even pack any clothes to get wet in. The closest thing you had were shorts and even then they weren’t comfortable to get wet with.

“It’s a bummer you can’t get in.” Nayoung pouts at you, watching you set your towel on the sand. Sunglasses on as you send her a reassuring smile. “Eh it’s okay, I’ve gotten too much sun anyways-“. “Yeah you’re looking a little dark, how about you stay under my moms umbrella for the time being okay? Hope you don’t get too bored!” She says before scurrying off to her friends. Clenching your jaw, you try to not let her words affect you. Has she always been this snakey? Or is this you trying to justify your actions for hooking up with her boyfriend. Surely she must’ve always been this terrible to you from the beginning.

“Come on.” “Huh?” Looking over and seeing Jaemin has his hand extended you raise a brow. “Where?” “Less questions and more walking, come on.” Allowing him to drag you away, he takes you to a near by store. “Bikini’s?” “Get one, it’s on me.” “You don’t need to-“ “I want to, besides I need to get sunscreen.” He wonders off for it, and as he does so you look around the store. Eyes straying on a red two piece, you go to the fitting rooms and liking the look of it on you. Getting out, Jaemin freezes when he sees you. “How do I look?” Checking to see if anyones watching, he pushes you inside and closes the door behind him. Dropping the bottle of sun cream and picking you up. Leaning you up against the wall he desperately connects your lips with his. Running a hand through his hair, he begins to dry hump you. A moan comes out of you that he muffled with his mouth. A hand coming to wrap around your neck and lightly squeeze. “Fuck you’re so hot.” His pupils dilated as he leans in and press kisses to your chest.

Pulling the top down to reveal your perky tits. Sucking and fondling with them, looking to the side and seeing the mirror reflecting the lewd actions he’s doing. “We should get going, don’t want to raise suspicion.” You tell him with heavy breathing. Reluctantly detaching himself from you and setting you down. “Don’t change.” Grabbing your clothes and lotion, the two of you walk out and make your way to the counter. Ripping off the tag and handing it to the cashier as he pays for it. By the time the two of you make your way back, you hear shouting. “Babe where have you been?” Nayoung gets closer. “Needed sunscreen and got y/n a bathing suit.” Eyes turning to look at you, the plastic smile ready to falter. “Oh! How nice..well come on let’s get in the water feels nice!” She goes for his hand but he takes a step back.

“Yeah I will in a bit, you should join the others they seem pretty lost with out you.” Looking back and seeing her friends looking bored without her. “Oh okay. Glad you can join us after all y/n.” She sends you a smile before going back in. Feeling a tug, you look down and see Jaemin had taken his shirt off. “Help me put sunscreen on yeah?”

You can practically feel the daggers being thrown at you. But you ignored it, you liked making her jealous. A part of you felt proud you had the upper hand than Nayoung. Even more that it’s with her boyfriend. Turning around, you put some on his chest. Running your hands over his abs, his eyes looking directly into yours. “I really badly need to fuck you.” Rolling your eyes, you go to walk away but he stops you. “Now y/n.”

“Are you seeing this?” One of Nayoung’s friends says as they all watch Jaemin slowly put on sunscreen on you. Going up your leg and too close to your ass. “I knew it was a mistake to introduce them.” She scoffs. “Come on hun, do you really think he’ll do anything with her?” “It’s not him I’m worried, poor girl is so deprived I worry she’ll do anything for attention.” She pouts. “Don’t worry, Jaemin’s too smitten for you. He’d never be unfaithful to you.” Smiling she turns over to her friends. “Thanks guys, besides we’re really strong.” “So strong that should we assume he’ll pop the question anytime soon?”

Nodding they squeal. “I’m sure he already has the ring set out for me.” She claps her hands.

“Jaemin anyone can walk in on us any second!” You smack Jaemin’s bicep, currently in a dark small closet the cabin had he had managed to cramped you two inside. It was loud outside, music blasting as the others conversed with one another. Luggages were being packed and dinner was being cooked. In a few hours you were meant to be making your way back home and instead, have a clingy boy stuck to your side. A grin on his face as he leans in and kisses you. “Need you…” he pouts as he nuzzles his face in the crook of your neck. Hands beginning to roam down your side and to your back. Biting your lip when you feel him squeeze your ass, gasping when you feel his bulge after he pulled you closer to him.

“No one will hear us mhm?” He breathes in your ear as he peppers your neck. Massaging your cheeks as he has you pinned against the wall. You can’t ignore the arousal in your pants but it didn’t stop you from worrying of being potentially caught. “No sir.” Pushing him away, you reach for the door knob. Feeling him pull you inside again roughly when Nayoung’s faint voice was heard going up the stairs. “I have no idea where he went.” She tells her friends. “I bet he’s with y/n again. They have been way too close.” “I’m sure he feels bad, I mean she is the odd one out.” Nayoung reasons. “She’s a loner Nayoung, girls like her use that to reel men in.” Clenching your jaw, you don’t notice Jaemin wrapping his arms around your waist.

“Ignore them.” He whispers into your ear. Once you were sure they had left, you don’t utter a word and merely walk out. Leaving him in the closet by himself.

Nayoung always assumed she’d be the first to seal the deal between the two of you. The first to have a boyfriend, to be engaged and to start a family. Unlike her, you didn’t grow up with a lot so she always had more than you. The advantages like starting her own independent life. You had to start from scratch, lots of hours working for you to save. It’s what the world admired about you. It’s what they respected you for, many could relate to you. And even through all the hardships you still smiled. You stayed optimistic and it’s why you had so many friends, why so many guys wanted your number instead of Nayoung’s.

“I’m sorry I’m not interested.” “Actually I wanted to see if you can give me your friend, y/n’s number.”

For a while it seemed like Nayoung was the forgotten one. It was all about her friend Y/n. What you were up to, how you were doing. She just wanted to see what the fuss was about in having so many people care about you. So the cosmetics came in, then the surgeries, the hard diets. But when they weren’t enough, the lies came in.

“Oh sure, but I have to say she’s currently going through something. Chlamydia actually.”

She didn’t mean for the lies to keep progressing but she just wanted to take some of the attention off you and divert it over to her.

“She thinks you’re a freak.”

She did feel bad though when people eventually began to hate you. And before she knew it, she was the only friend you had left. Boys avoided you and girls despised you. Your last boyfriend only cheated on you because Nayoung lied to him saying you had cheated on him.

“I guess she thought you just weren’t good enough, I don’t know what to tell you. But, if I were her I would know I made a big mistake. You’re a catch.” Her hand lays on top of his, a reassuring and innocent smile plastered on her face before leaning in and kissing him.

For years now she was finally on the other end, the one who everyone praised and idolized. And a part of her liked how she can control you, it felt nice to be better for once. And seeing how close you and Jaemin have gotten definitely hasn’t been putting her at ease.

During dinner she made sure Jaemin sat next to her and away from you. Served him and kissed him at unconventional times. By the end of the night it seemed she was utterly in love with him, which is why she just had to rub it in just a little deeper into your face. “I’m going to tell him I love him.” Taking you by surprise, you suppress any distasteful emotion. “That’s great! I’m sure he’ll feel the same.” He won’t. You’re sure of that. “I want to live with him y/n.” Widening your eyes, “Live together? But what about dorms? It’s still mandatory to be in one and you can’t exactly room with a guy.”

“Only for a few more months.” Sighing and sitting back on the couch she smiles dreamily. “I’m telling you, he’s the man of my dreams.” You didn’t have much to say. Which only made you more guilty with how you’ve been treating her behind her back. It seemed she really did like him, after all she has been stuck by your side when everyone else turned against you. “Then tell him how you feel.”

“We can’t keep doing this.”

It’s been three months since the visit to Nayoung’s parents. Three months since you said you’d stop hooking up with him and finally today you’d be calling it off. “Like hell you are, what the hell y/n. Where is this coming from?” A duvet wrapped around your body, you sit up on the bed. Messy hair with smeared makeup as you don’t even dare meet eyes with Jaemin. With only briefs on, he gets out of bed. Disheveled hair, muscles more prominent and the red marks you left on him still apparent. Lip stains on his neck with dark love marks going down his collar bone. A frown on his face as he demands an explanation, even when he’s upset he’s still breathtakingly attractive. “It’s not right.” A sarcastic laugh falls out of his mouth as he searches for his clothes.

“You’re finally realizing that after months?” Looking at you for any other answers, he drops his shirt on the bed and climbs back on. Cradling your face, he looks at you worriedly. “Talk to me baby, what’s wrong?” Feeling the tears beginning to form, you shrug him off. You don’t trust your voice, there’s a ball beginning to form and you know if you dare speak a work you’ll only sob. About to get out of bed, he grabs you by the waist. “No, you’re not running way again. Talk to me-“ “Jaemin you’re in a relationship with Nayoung! She loves you and even wants to live with you and here we are having sex!”

“She’s not you!” Looking away, he huffs and wraps his arms around your torso. “I love you.” Taken by surprise, you turn to face him with wide eyes. “Come again?” “I’ve never said that to any of my exes, and it sucks that this is the situation that we are in but, im not lying. I love you, not Nayoung. It’s why I didn’t say it back when she said it to me.”

“Really?” Smiling, he nods and leans in for a kiss you grant him happily. “I still think it’s wrong. Maybe if we confess then she will let you go. Yeah it will permanently ruin our friendship but you at least deserve your freedom.” Shaking his head he sighs. “It’s her father i’m worried for.” Feeling dejected, you let him pull you into a cuddle. Back under the sheets as he peppers your face in kisses. Until there’s a loud slam on the door, eyes widening Jaemin lifts a finger to his mouth. Your door was locked thankfully.

“Let me check if she’s home…hey y/n! You home?!” Knocking on the door and trying to open it but to no avail. Shaking his head, he covers your mouth. “Guess she’s not home.” She says, she must’ve brought someone. Getting up to change, you can’t but overhear her speak.

“Can’t believe you’re still friends with her after everything she did.” Confused, you lean your ear up gassing the door. “Well I mean, she’s my best friend-“ “Yes but she cheated on her boyfriend.”

Cheated?

“She didn’t know what she was doing.”

Why the hell is Nayoung agreeing?

“Yeah well what about her bullying you?”

You looked back at Jaemin in shock as he as well seems surprised.

“That was years ago, she’s getting better.”

You didn’t understand why Nayoung was agreeing with such false claims. You have never cheated on your boyfriend nor have you ever bullied Nayoung.

“Well at least she got her karma right?” The girl snorts. “Getting chlamydia, having all the guys lose interest in her and having no friends- well except you. I must say I admire you. I don’t know how you put up with such a mess.”

“I try my hardest.” You hear her giggle. “She’s a loner and a social freak, the least I could do is make sure she has at least a companion or who knows she might just end it all.” “Are you saying she’s suicidal?” “I’m saying who knows! You never know what people are thinking now a days.”

Your heart broke. All those accusations weren’t real and to think more people thought they were true hurt even more. You didn’t even realize you began to cry until you felt Jaemin wipe a tear away. They chatted for a few minutes before leaving and by then you have sat yourself down against the door. “Why would she lie?” You ask to no one.

Jaemin stayed quiet. Arms crossed and a clenched jaw, he immediately understood what Nayoung had done. “Isn’t it obvious?” Looking up at him with red swollen eyes you shake your head. “She spread false rumors about you!” “What why?”

“Come on baby.” Crouching down, he pulls a strand of hair behind your ear. “You’re gorgeous, sweet, smart. You’re everyone’s type.” “Are you saying she did it out of jealousy?” Scoffing you shake your head. “No, Nayoung is the pretty one. Everyone wants her.” “I don’t. I want you.” “You’re just saying that to make me feel better.” You scoff. “Okay then let’s talk to your ex.” “What why?” “Because we both know the cheater in your past relationship wasn’t you.” The memory still hurt. You never did find out who he cheated on you with only that he was ‘much happier’ and that you weren’t shit to him anymore.

“You’re wasting your time.” Shaking his head, he pulls out his phone and begins to search for his account. “What are you planning to do.” “We’re going to pay him a little visit. Come on let’s get dressed.”

“I don’t think this is such a good idea-“ Cutting you off by giving you a kiss, he gives you a smile. “Just hold my hand, he does anything to hurt you I promise I’ll kick his ass.” Walking into the cafe, you immediately spot your ex. Deep eye bags adorned his face, his hair was longer and dead. He looked much scrawnier and almost exhausted even. Taking a seat in front of you, you don’t have the words to even greet him.

“Y/n. Jaemin.” He speaks.

“What can i do for you.”

“The truth.” Jaemin cuts to the chase. Quirking his brow, he leans forward. “The truth?” “Who did you sleep with?” Jaemin tells him sternly. Scoffing, he chuckles dryly and shakes his head. “Why am I hearing an accusingly tone. Shouldn’t we start with who y/n slept with first?”

“I didn’t sleep with anyone.” You speak up.

“Right. Like I believe that-“

“Did Nayoung tell you anything.” Jaemin cut him off. “Nayoung helped me realize I was wasting my time on her.” He glares at you. “Did she tell you she was cheating?” Staying quiet, his face falls. “Why do you care?…wait aren’t you her boyfriend.” His jaw clenched and he sits up straighter.

“So you’re the guy she dumped me for.” Eyes widening, you look at him. “Nayoung was the girl you slept with?” Scoffing he shakes his head. “I didn’t sleep with her we only kissed.” He huffs. “She told me you cheated on me, she comforted me and we kissed. She had me to believe she wanted to be with me but when I broke things off with you she ghosted me.” The two of you send each other looks, “Why? Was that not what really happened?…”

You felt betrayed. You wonder how long has it been since she’s been a snake to you.

“She told me you kissed my boyfriend.”

“She said you had chlamydia.”

“I heard her say you were mentally unstable.”

You wanted to believe it was all a lie but it made sense why everyone suddenly avoided you like the plague. No one daring to befriend you or ever ask you out. You were sure you’d die a loner if it wasn’t for Nayoung and now you come to find out you were put into this situation because of her.

You couldn’t stop your heart from squeezing in agony. The friend you considered a sister you cared for so deeply had ruined your life out of what? Spite? Jealousy? Fun even?

The guilt you had building in you disintegrated almost instantly. You don’t have quite the perfect idea as to how you plan on getting even with her, how you’re going to help Jaemin get out of his god forsaken relationship with her, how you’re going to let the world know just how a trashy person she really is but you do know one thing, if you’re going to keep sleeping with her boyfriend you’re going to do it without a care in the world. Holding hands together literally behind her back when the three of you go out for ice cream, his subtle hand on your thigh when you go to the movies. The glances you give one another when you two had no other choice but to be dragged by her at a fancy restaurant with friends. Having sex in the parking lot after making an excuse to leave early. Making out while she’s showering and even sexting each other with her around. You no longer cared, and instead it made you just a tiny bit better knowing Nayoung no longer had it all,

“They completely cut me out and I don’t know why! Can you believe that?! After everything I did for them they have the audacity to treat me like dirt? And that’s not even mentioning the weird looks I’ve been receiving from guys. It’s like I’m infected or something.” No but rumors are you caught a case of syphilis

Just want to preface this by saying i love ur analysis sm- u put my exact thoughts into words when i cant verbalise whats wrong with a particular writing decision 🥲🥲

Anyway, smth ive noticed is how... little time vivzie actually spends on writing or characterizing or fleshing out her characters.

Which has to be the weirdest thing so far bc every writer and artist ive met agree that its the best part of making an oc! Its so fun to think of backstories and tie that into their current personality and generally just figuring out random details to get to know your characters!

Like, my ocs are my best friends, i know everything abt them from their trauma and childhoods, to their favourite food and music.

But time and time again she proves that her characters are at best acquaintances... the fandom fleshes out the characters so well and with so much love and care and thought that vivzie herself cant do and its just sad.

Not even mentioning the hundreds of retcons and how characters will just change personality randomly or act out of character which results in the work feeling like a fanfic of itself. (Ironic considering some fanfics have better and more consistent characterisation)

It feels like shes making it up as she goes, instead of having an actual plan. Just shoving random ideas she likes or picks up from the much more creative fandom into the 2 shows without actually stopping and thinking abt the consequences or implications.

Theres so many decisions shes made that irk me so bad... the ideas individually have potential but they either dont fit the show or have to make huge retcons and result in the plot not making any sense.

Also, ngl but she has the worst case of tell dont show ive ever seen my god 😭😭 like... you realise you have to show things instead of just fucking singing it or having a character say it??? Or is that another thing that the fandom has to do so they can convince themselves that the show has good characters??

Atp idk how to salvage the show... i keep finding more and more plotholes and unless i literally turn my brain off and only focus on haha funny dick joke or pwetty colors, these questions keep popping into my head making it a painful unenjoyable experience.

Again, if the fandom has to justify your bad nonsensical hypocritical worldbuilding then you failed. Massively.

Anyway im very sleepy rn just wanted to rant a bit bc im a writer and artist myself and it pisses me off how someone gets their show on the air and still doesnt care abt putting in effort into their plot or characters beyond aesthetics and random ideas that dont go well together...

You’re speaking facts! And it’s honestly like..kinda funny too that people who have their own OC’s can flesh them out and deep dive into their arcs/backstories ect, yet a professional showrunner who’s had these characters for YEARS can’t even give the majority of her characters flaws or quirks, or even consistency, same goes for Helluva Boss.

Viv is a really good example at letting inspired writers know what not to do when making a story and characters so at least they have that lol.

Yeah Arti is my favorite because of 2 reasons: she reminds me of my other fav character (Undyne Undertale) and, well, ANGST

Yeah, the more angst the character has in their story, the bigger chance that they have to become my favorite

OH AND HEY, WANNA FUNNY THING? So, like, revenge theme was always, like, my thing. I wrote a THREE fanfics in HTTYD fandom with this theme. The first one was Hiccup killing people for Toothless' death, then vise versa, then (really funny) they both killed for each other, thinking that the other was dead. Fun thing that Toothless' style of revenge was similar to Arti's. I mean, kill everyone. No you can't read them (unless you know russian)

So, you can guess that on the second place i have Hunter and Saint. Yes, both of them. Why Hunter isn't the first place? Weeell... Idk? When character dies, they just die, the end. When character loses someone they love... They get to live and suffer. Yeah. But still, being on a countdown? Angsty enough.

And Saint... Well, i like them mostly for their brainblast power. Yeah, if the character is strong and/or has some cool power i will probably also like them.

On the third place i have Spearmaster, and i should mention them because back in 2021 i thought they would be my favorite. Because that time we already knew many things about Downpour (which wasn't a thing yet, it was just More Slugcats, legendary mod). And there were like few gameplay videos and a whole stream with Spearmaster's campaign. And i remember that the person was told not to go to shoreline because of the massive spoilers (we were like WHY IS TGAT, IS IT BECAUSE MOOOON IS ALIIVEE???) (we were right lol). Instead they went to five pebbles and he ripped out the pearl from SM. And i was like OMG SO CRUEL I LOVE IT LOOK THEY'RE BLEEDING THEY'RE BLEEDING THEY HAVE FUCKING SCAR!!! and i immediately got few headcanons, that after the Wanderer (from Drought mod) failed their mission on bringing the gold pearl to Five Pebbles, SRS was mad so he took another slugcat, modified them without asking, sew a perl in them so they won't lose it and won't give it to Moon and sent to FP. And i was like OMG ANGST MM YUM YUM

And now it turned out that SRS is actually a good guy and actually cares about Spear and it's no fun ☹️ but the pearl episode is still great yum yum yum

Funny thing that about Arti we knew that she is, well, SHE, and that she fights scavs, has explody powers and cant stay underwater. And karma 1 locked. About Saint we knew that they have brain blast powers and were wondering if they gonna have it in the new version or no. Btw, i started shipping Artisaint in that time too. Like, strong, loud killer and weak quiet saint who can't even hold spears.

💔 (broken heart) - Who has your character hurt most? Physically or emotionally? How did it feel? Do they regret it?

Zheng Nüwa: Not to spoil too much but when one of her best friends gets brutally murdered in the Underground, she goes on a bloody path of revenge and spends a long time tracking down the man responsible, tormenting him psychologically by ruining every aspect of his life, and then at his very lowest, she tortures him and kills him. It's dark ik 😭 she was not in a good place after losing her friend, and she's allergic to healthy coping mechanisms 😭 (which is honestly very on brand for AOT so 🤷🏻‍♀️) but!! revenge stories are fun to write so I'm having a good time even if she isn't 😂😭

Odelia Kreutz: I can't think of anyone she would really hurt emotionally? She and Jean would get into arguments in their cadet days, but that does eventually get resolved as they both mature as people. Physically, though... she's a lot stronger than she looks (ballerinas are very athletic and disciplined and she has a ballet background). I think she'd really fuck up a bunch of Jaegerists in Season 4 - she would never join them, knowing just how insidious and predatory their beliefs can be. She doesn't regret fighting against the Jaegerists, but when some of those people were people she trained alongside... yeah I can see her wishing she'd found another way to deal with them.

🍓 (strawberry) - Does your oc believe in anything? Are they superstitious? Religious? Atheistic? Has anything in their past made them this way?

Zheng Nüwa: She grew up atheist, since her parents were as well. Nüwa's mother did enjoy telling folk stories from their homeland and culture, since that is what her parents did too. These folk stories were one of the very few things that could help Nüwa's mother connect to her culture, which was being rapidly erased with the persecution of their kind. (It's why Nüwa was given this name). But Nüwa never took those folk stories as truth and in general doesn't buy into religion. She doesn't like the idea of fate either, as she believes in free will.

Odelia Kreutz: Oh boy this is a good question as it's a key theme with Odelia as a character. Her father is a high-ranking clergy member of the Wall Religion; high enough to know what the real truths of the Walls are. However, he obviously isn't going to pass this information on to his daughter until she's old enough to really comprehend the secrets being hidden by the Wall Religion, so he raises her with the same beliefs as most others practicing this religion. He also abused her and her mother (mostly emotional but he also hit them on occasion to discipline them) and justified his behaviour through his beliefs, and she internalised those beliefs, so she has a fair bit of religious trauma that she has to work through later on in life. What helps her begin to deconstruct these beliefs are the outside perspectives she encounters when she goes to a ballet academy; where some of her fellow dancers don't quite subscribe to this religion. Nüwa is her auntie through marriage, and has a bit of influence in getting Odelia to start to question her beliefs and to not blindly follow them. She becomes more sceptical, and her main motivation to run away and enlist in the 104th is to find out the real truths, see the world for herself and form her own opinions without the shackles of her father and his religion facing her to think in a certain way. This is also the reason why she really really freaks out at someone when she finds out someone has lied to her, it deeply upsets her and she reacts more than the average person would, because it's genuinely triggering. Honestly and truth is the most important thing to her. (You can imagine she doesn't take the RBA titan reveals very well.) TLDR Odelia's relationship with religion is a complicated and difficult one, poor baby :((

(Disclaimer: I don't think all religions are toxic in the way that it is being portrayed through Odelia's father and the trauma she has from being raised under the beliefs of the Wall Religion. I'm extrapolating from canon, from what we already know about the Wall Religion. But I have no problems with IRL religions and the people who practice them without harming others. Just thought I'd make that clear!)

🍄 (mushroom) - Does your character like being in nature or do they prefer the indoors? Do they have any outdoor hobbies like camping or fishing? If they prefer the indoors, why?

Zheng Nüwa: Despite her surface job being very indoor-oriented, I think she's fairly outdoorsy, but especially after she gets to the surface and realises just how much she's missed out on in the Underground. Different weather types, flora, fauna, etc. Now that she's aboveground, she wants to take the opportunity to experience what she never could as a child, it's honestly very healing for her inner child. It also makes her realise that the surface citizens take a lot of things for granted, so experiencing nature and the outdoors is yet another motivator for her to keep working hard to improve things for other Underground people, knowing what they could've experienced growing up. Also, being outdoors in the rural areas away from the industrial areas is much better for her health, as her asthma is triggered by air pollution. As for outdoor hobbies, I think she'd enjoy hiking, and learning to swim in natural bodies of water! She sometimes gets invited on outdoor hunting trips with other nobles, so I can see things like falconry being something she'd come to like.

Odelia Kreutz: Similarly to Nüwa, experiencing the outdoors is a way to heal her inner child. After a lifetime of being a noble, cooped up indoors and being raised for nothing but marriage, she cherishes every expedition, as it is an opportunity to see more of nature and what lies outside the Walls. Since she's a soldier and joins the Survey Corps, learning to ride a horse is absolutely essential, but she genuinely enjoys horse riding as well! I haven't come up with a name for her horse yet but rest assured they have a close bond not unlike Levi and his horse.

watched it with three of my best friends when it first was in theaters so that definitely added to the message and experience watching it. i love how greta gerwig directed the sister dynamic. she’s gone on record on interviews and also if you can find the screenplay itself that in the script the actors’ lines were written on top of one another to reflect the spontaneity and chaos of sisterhood and family through the film’s dialogue. so genius?!?! this adaptation just felt so real and genuine and i also see a little of myself in all the sisters 🫶

2. challengers

UGH i did like a whole deep dive here but in short: luca guadagnino you absolute mastermind. i love tennis, i love colorgraded film and photography, i love hot people!!!! story was insane, i quite literally had to sit in my car for like half an hour just processing when i got out the movie house before i felt normal enough to drive home lol.

3. emma (2020)

again i did a thorough tedtalk on this one. but i’m a big jane austen fan!!! and the aesthetics and score on this adaptation were just off the charts and so so lovely. love the regency era and i think they translated it to screen in a very appealing and classic (although maybe not entirely historical but hey it’s art) way. i’ll always come back to it as my comfort movie ngl.

4. call me by your name

amazing story. (not a love story mind you!!!) which is actually why it stuck with me sm bc i went in with my hopeless romantic self just to be fuckin crushed. watched it two summers ago and it took me like weeks to recover, it broke my heart in a way that felt so good. also just a downright beautiful film all around (colorgrade, cinematography, acting, music, everything!!). in guadagnino we trust!!!

Hey, I don't know if anyone's mentioned this to you before, but I just wanted to say making Vera's color scheme pink (with black) totally makes her super recognizable and iconic, you know? It's a genius character design choice to me because in all of Resident Evil, there's no other character that's "pink," so she really stands out in a fresh way. It's like you filled a gap we didn't even realize was there. Plus, she's got that whole tech vibe going on, which is so cool because she stands out from all the scientists and badass fighters dealing with bioterrorism. I just think she's awesome and the thought put into her design is top-notch! I miss her sm I hope you update soon <3

and then she was korean for a while (this fell after i discovered ashiemochi's so-ah). and then turkish. and then the turkish journalist thing fell AS WELL because i discovered other journalist ocs on tumblr paired with leon and a turkish journalist on wattpad and i was like "oh my god fuck i am scrapping everything" (this idea later got recycled in moth to a flame)

i actually dont remember how i got the pink idea. im also like. obsessed with color? i guess. i like to categorize so it's always fascinating when a character/thing is associated with a color/symbol/animal/ and owns it -- like, the girlies in RE -- they made Ashley orange-yellow, sheva purple (kinda? its not as prominent as the others), rebecca pistachio green, alex wesker white, ada cherry red, claire apple red and it just HITS, it could just be a me-thing though. It falls apart at one pointt I know, because how many characters can you color code hahahah (and they didnt even try with the men. they're shades of blue, all of them. or black. bo-ring. they went with the hair and body type for them while the girls got the colors kinda DDJSKDS) -- so take it with a grain of salt, it's just that I love color as a starting and developing point and I cant overgrow it 😭

but like. interestingly there was no pink pink character like you said — apart from moira burton that is who has it in like the hood of her jacket and bracelet and nowhere else, though she is a minor character? i guess in a zombie game franchise marketed to boys majorly in earlier years, they wouldn't really prefer pink LMAO so it was easier to bubblegum chainsaw an OC in since that was a deliberately left alone concept. I was like "mine now" and put a spin to it!!!!! I love that she's just black-pink. It's her whole thing. Such a satisfying thing to me to work with

sorry to disappoint you but the first fic i read from you was indeed S14, im pretty sure WB was the second one. i was hesitant to read it, bc i find that this topic is usually dealt with rather insensitively - at least in my experience

so when i read PT, i remember reading ‘It’s not his fault preacher Clifford’s son was cute and…’ but i didn’t think much of it. i kept reading the fic, then i was like… ‘wait a fucking minute’ and scrolled back up to see if i read this right. i tried to see if that fic was part of a series, i know some authors who write stories in the same universe and decided to create a series, but i couldn’t find it. then calum was talking abt ashton being high and crashing the car, then ashton saying he didn’t want the people from the town knowing they were gay bc of what happened last time and i was like omg!! it’s the WB guys!!

so yeah, bc of that, in my mind the characters were aged up. i thought the story was set in at least a couple of years after WB

i loved cashton’s dynamic sm, calum seemed to know ashton like the back of his hands, which reinforced the idea that they’ve been together for a long time. their dynamic did seem healthier

also, i felt like ashton’s personality was the one that changed the most from WB. it felt like ashton was more carefree in WB, more giggly, whereas in PT he’s quieter and more, idk, tame (?? im not an english speaker so idk if im explaining it well)

also i read the deleted fic (i don’t remember the name, sorry!!) so i know that luke became part of their relationship! i never really thought about whether or not ashton would tell him what happens but after reading your porn industry fic (i also forgot the name sorry) i imagine him wanting to tell luke, calum making sure he actually wants to tell him and not that he thinks he owes him to him. ashton does choose to tell luke in the end

also i imagine that after that, when they have sex, luke always ask if ashtons okay with what’s he doing. he obviously asked before, but in my mind it’s kinda like, yes he wanted ashton’s consent, but also he wanted to make sure he was being good, not disobeying calum and him, whereas now he asks more bc he wants to be sure ashton is a 100% okay with luke touching him, and bc ashton told him he liked it when luke asked (this came to me bc of cards are dealt by elivigar lol)

ok here's me trying to answer this ask a 2nd time

Absolutely devastating trying to remember what I said the first time around but it was along the lines of:

That's not disappointing at all, don't be sorry!! Like I said, y'know, S14 is usually what people read from me first! It's what I'm known for. It's pretty crazy to think about a shift from S14 to WB though. That's a massive tonal change.

I understand there being hesitance to read a story like this!! It's a heavy topic that, I agree, is often times not handled with the most tact. And even though I do my best, I definitely think there's ways I can improve with my own content regarding this subject (bc I do write a decent amount of stories about it). I think a lot of people fall into the habit of writing SA as a sort of taboo which it's really not that glamorizes the trauma of victims. And so whenever I write about this subject, I try really hard not to do that. But it's definitely not an easy topic to write about!! I spent most of the writing process for WB feeling absolutely miserable sdfghjk. And I went back and forth a lot on if i actually wanted to post it or not.

I think that the characterizations from WB and PT are vastly different. Because I wrote PT first, I had a really specific cashton dynamic in it that was really just used as a sort of... comedic relief alongside some porn at the end lol and so I didn't think much about them. And then I got very interested in their backstory and went a lot more in depth in WB, obviously, and their characterizations changed A Lot, especially Ashton's. Now, considering he's 22 (I think) in WB and then 26 in PT, it makes sense that he'd be different and more mellowed out - and quieter/tame, like you said!! I also think it's a lot to do with Ashton's personality in WB being heavily influenced by his career path. He's got really big aspirations and it makes him act louder and bolder and with less care for the consequences. He's just kind of having fun, y'know, and is rather under the impression that no one can truly hurt him. He's sort of living in this disillusioned world that he can protect himself from anything because he's going to be some bigshot lawyer. And then, of course, an event like that happens and makes it so that his world view is really altered because he realizes that justice is Not on his side, and will probably never be on his side. And he doesn't want to be part of a system that can't truly save people. And I think that would definitely make sense as to why he's more withdrawn as he ages; he's found a little piece of safety and doesn't need to stray from it. And also, if you're with a guy for four years, and you have a past like that, there's probably not a lot of pressure to put on a show for him anymore. I don't know if Ashton ever started painting his nails again though. I always think that he realized drawing attention to himself was more a danger than a luxury. Because I do think there is a lot of subconscious blame that he puts on himself for what happened.

And oo, a little intertextuality !! i love intertextuality in fic it's my favorite thing ever!!! My porn fic was Portable Player!! She's my fave <33 I think i say a lot of fics are my favorite but... PP is my fave. she has my whole heart <33 And I do think that - while there will never be a requirement to share any intimate parts of yourself like that with a partner - there is a lot of safety in telling the people you love. And I also think WB Ash would tell Luke. because he would want to share that. i dont think he ever told anyone else outside of calum, to be honest. I've definitely written the scene in my head a bunch but never on paper.

and also shoutout to you for referencing my all time fave scene in an Anna fic ever. yeah, that scene Fucks Me Up. And I do think would apply to this circumstance as well.

i love hearing abt fic headcanons. It's really really nice to think about fics existing in people's minds outside of what happens on screen y'know?? like it's a real story to you. that's fucking incredible. everything I could hope for it to be. and i didn't ask but i always love hearing people talk. sometimes readers have better ideas for my own fics than i could ever have !! Also, speaking of michael, i always had in my mind, when i daydreamed about this universe, that michael would come to where Ash and Cal live now and he would See them for the first time in, like, five years. and of course calum would be a wreck (not in a bad way), y'know, and Luke wouldn't have any clue what's going on (probably a lot of "who's that? what's happening?"). so, in my mind, that was the sort of... shoe drop moment that made ashton go "I should talk to you about this because it's important for you to know." and I also just like the idea of michael & calum reuniting and seeing each other alive and healthy. and then ashton & luke sharing this moment that ofc would matter sm to Luke. because, i mean to be told something like that by a loved one really is so important and it shows such trust. and i dont think it should ever be taken for granted.

so i haven’t met elia sand in the books yet ( i have just started reading the series too so it may take me a while to get to that point ), but from what i read on the wiki, josana and elia would definitely bond over their love of horses. josana grew up loving horses because of her mother, laissa. she takes the time to read and learn the different breeds, diseases, best ways of riding, etc. it’s one of the many things that sets her apart from her uncle and it’s a part of her childhood that remains untouched and tainted after years of tywin crafting her into being his pawn. elia is definitely no lady by any means, so there would obviously be a difference in that aspect, but i think their dynamic would be interesting to reach at some point !! elia seems super fucking cool and i absolutely love this quote from her “i am almost a woman grown, ser. i'll let you spank me, though ... but first you'll need to tilt with me, and knock me off my horse.” like how iconic !!

funny how u mention the tyrells because i am in the process of really deep diving with brainstorming to formulate their dynamics. i will be including willas and maybe garlan, but probably only by mention. not sure yet. most definitely willas bc he’s the heir to highgarden and josana was former queen of the north and bore a male heir. now that sansa is wed to tyrion, josana is the next option for the tyrells to undermine the lannisters. it doesn’t go as far at all like it’s quickly snuffed out by tywin and gives josana a truly awful match, but it’s all part of my plans ehehehehehe. anyways, for the rest of the tyrells, the dynamics are still tentative as i need to understand who these characters are from show vs books. once i have those similarities and differences figured out perfectly, then i can easily plot it !!

so,,,, sansa,,,, this one is complicated bc i made a huge change to josana’s story ( for the better to reinforce my themes, but it’s an even angstier change ). starting off in the beginning when they’re both in winterfell, sansa wants to impress josana as she does with princess myrcella, joffrey, cersei, etc. josana is to marry her brother and they would become family, so they are spending time getting to know each other and bonding! josana always liked sansa and vice versa !! very very good terms. and then the war happened. sansa being alone in king’s landing surrounded by lannisters is not pleasant by any means. and her opinion on josana changes drastically over time bc of all the scandalous rumors, but most importantly,,,, the red wedding. a cliff note’s version: josana is outed by lord walder frey for her treason against the starks, which he knew bc of tywin. he makes a toast to her after everyone’s been slaughtered except robb and catelyn and says “this is the fruit of her labor” and from then on, she is known as a traitorous bitch, the queen who lost the north, the widow queen, etc. though sansa is never present at the red wedding, word travels fast and rumors spread like wildfire. i do have positive plans in the future for josana and sansa, but i really need to plan out the best and most realistic approach to tackle my changes since i didn’t initially plan on josana’s betrayal to ever be revealed, especially in that horrible situation. it’s tricky, but hopefully i can come up with the best option to have a brighter future for their dynamic bc i love sansa so much. her and josana go through similar ( yet still wildly different ) paths and female friendships mean sm to me !!

• Definitely that dog you read stories about that has many, many owners. Past the point that game actually mentioned. To the point where if different groups of people come together, such as a party to celebrate the institute becoming a crater, at least 7 people will be arguing. "His name is Jack, he followed my son home months ago!" "No buddy, you've got it wrong, his name is Ed and he helped me catch a radstag last fall!" "You're both wrong, Luke over here loves to hang around my caravan and his favorite thing is brahmin milk!" " What are you guys arguing ab- Aw, do you guys know Mitch too?"

• He has been accidently trained to go to his dog house/Soles bed for the night by the sound of water being dumped over the camp fire every night.

• Also accidently trained to smell when there's something wrong with people in his party and bumps the leg of anyone he's worried about. Infection in a wound, glucose levels, upcoming rads if the person he's traveling with doesn't have a Geiger counter, etc. A very good boy indeed.

• He will gravitate towards mama Murphy and sit on her feet because sometimes she will fall asleep and complain she's cold when she wakes up. She hasn't connected that he's doing it becuase he likes her, she just thinks he's trying to steal her chair. Which is a possibility.

• If you take off his bandana, goggles, or light dog armor, he will pick it up and bring it back to who ever is taking care of him at the time for it to be put back on. He doesn't like being naked.

Deacon

• Because he knows how to hide his emotions so well because it's his literal job, he can read people like a book. Almost scary he's so accurate.

• Learns about litterally anything he can get his hands on just because he can. And becuase it doesn't hurt if he's going undercover as an ex-BoS scribe. He has to walk the walk, you know?

• Even if he trusts someone, i.e Sole after the last affinity talk, he still doesn't like people touching HIM, but he will be the one to touch other people. "Cmere, your coats caught in your packs strap" "oh man, feel how cold my fingers are- why are you running?" "Oh cool, you had a tattoo! Pull up your sleeve, let me see! Does it feel any different when I do this?"

• Yes, the little thing he says during red glare and ambient comments when on sky scrappers is true, he is indeed scared of heights.... Which is exactly what WOULD annoy him to hear you say. He's scared of falling, not heights. Big difference.

• Loves to ask random things about the people hes with. After Sole mentions theyre from before the war or when MacCready mentions being the Mayor of Little Lamplight for example. To the extent if he's been marinating on a certian topic for a while, out of no where, usually at the worst times, he'll just blurt it out. Fighting tons of mirelurks- So did beer really taste better than warm spit like Nick likes to say? Trying to sleep at the dead of night- Did you name Codsworth or did he just get a special name out of the box? Sneaking around a super mutants camp- So was the platypus real or are those holo tape movies just fucking with me?

Whenever my fiance pokes fun at me romancing Hancock over and over again or complaining Nick isn't romancable, I bring up the fact he let it slip one night that he's wanted to fuck Midna from twilight princess since the game came out.

I'm still so shocked that people really like my previous headcanons for Hancock, Deacon, and Dogmeat so I guess to celebrate that and to challenge myself, I've got at least one for every character. It's not much for a few of them becuase I either never played with them all that much or I'm scared I won't get their personality quite right, but I hope I did well! Enjoy!

Hancock

• Actually shrunk a few inches height wise from turning ghoul. He sometimes gets heated about it when someone teases him but gets a bit proud at a particular comeback when he remembers Nick teasing him by asking if he was missing a few inches to which he replied "not where they count".

Dogmeat

• You ever hear stories about the family dog adopting a kitten and the kitten is now the dogs cat, nit the familys cat? Well he does this. He's so guilty of bringing home random animals. Hes brought home an abandoned Yao guai cub, baby ravens, radstags fawns, and countless cats and mongrels have followed him home.

Deacon

• Because of his crazy schedule and sometimes having to change plans or get ready and go at the drop of a cap, he has mastered the art of falling asleep anywhere, anytime, and recharging as if he's gotten a full eight hours. For example, leaning aginst the wall in the catacombs of the church while Tom tells him about a new conspiracy, he's dead asleep behind his sunglasses and only wakes up when Drummer Boy comes running in saying Sole fucked some shit up and needs help. He just pops up like he wasn't just dreaming about rafting in the stream around Sanctuary with a fruity drink in his hand and he's out the door.

Cait

• Secretly loves to be pampered, to be treated how she heard other girls would be treated growing up. If Sole offered to brush knots and mats out of her hair after a spat, she will act offended out of fear at first. Fear of Sole snatching the comb through her hair like her mother would, just to get it done and out of her way. She fights hard to not let out a small tear when Sole helps her feel beautiful and not a burden after her hair is smooth and taken care of.

• Treats curie like a "dumb little sister" but loves her dearly and wouldn't trade her for the world.

• Has a habit of flirting with anyone or anything out of habit of trying to stay alive by flattery. As she starts to get to know the crew, she begins to mean the compliments a bit more.

Piper

• Loves sugary things because it's what her dad would give her when he got back from scavenging. He would get lucky every once in a while and find someones stash and would have plenty of treats for his girls for a few weeks to hold them over. And with Sole as her new closest friend, she now has someone else besides Nat to spoil.

• She is consittered insane by most people becuase she actually enjoys the spinning feeling that you get from drinking.

• Has gotten in the habit of scrapping every camera she can find for good parts and film for Nat. While her specialty is written words for her paper, Nat has taken up the hobby of photography and is sometimes comissioned by her sister. She's pretty good at it.

Curie

• Though she knows the new plants may be dangerous to her now that she's out of the vault and only has knowledge of their previous ancestry, she enjoys picking a few extra specimens and presses them between the pages of a thick book for herself. For research purposes of course.

MacCready

• Because of his friendship with a particular vault dweller growing up in the capital wasteland, he steers way clear of any vaults he would be coming across according to his maps. He knows the vault he grew up next to was bad but with the stories he's heard, he's not going to take his chance with ANY of them.

• Once Sole comes back from Far Harbor and lets him try Vim Quartz, he's hooked. Reminds him of the bubblegum and other candies him and his friends would bet with back at little Lamplight. Even gives off a soft glow like the lights his old home had. Over all, punches him with so much nostalgia.

• (This one is more Duncan than Mac but its close enough) After Duncan is cured and comes to live in one of the settlements with his dad, he would get curious like all little kids and ask about the carved toy solider that Sole has. After they tell him what it is and how it's special becuase his mom gave it to his dad and then to them, they give it to the little boy and asked him to take good care of it becuase it means so much to so many people. MacCready will feel so much love (your choice, platonicly or romanticly) for Sole just from this one interaction alone and will have no doubt that those 250 caps that were used to hire him were the best Sole had ever spent.

• After becoming close friends with Sole, he will allow them to call him Bobby. The only person to call him that since Lucy.

• Will sometimes have little competitions like makeshift shooting ranges or foot races with Sole to see who would have to cook dinner that night.

• Definitely trained Dogmeat to grab him a new drink when his current one is empty

Danse

• Will never admit it, but he can't swim all that well. He can float and make a pretty good show of it as if hes swimming by choice, but he's not doing laps at a decent speed anytime soon.

X6-88

• Though he knows he's made to do one thing and one thing only, he takes pride in his look, particularly his hair. He claims it's for intimidation but he secretly loves having a sharp hairline he edges himself when he's off duty. Would love to be bold and try something new but always looses the nerve. Why fix what isn't broken?

Nick

• No matter how old someone is, if he's escorting someone through a rough place, he will take off his coat and drape the bottom half over someone shoulders and hold the rest up over their view so they don't see past him. He can't quite remember, but he thinks it's an old habit from his detective days, protecting people from paparazzi and news reporters as well as crime scenes.

I feel so honored to get this ask becuase im just all in my feels and hyperfixation right now and not by any means an actual fallout blog so here's these few headcanons that I threw together from my personal fics. If anything is confusing, let me know and I'll explain it better 😅

• In his line "Hey. Rads over here. Not for the softskinned", he says softskinned instead of anything like "smoothskin" becuase its, well, a slur in the context some ghouls say it, and also because he is consittered a new age ghoul and doesn't see the need to use such a word to describe someone if it has such negativity attached to it. Especially since it's only been a decade or so since he's been a ghoul.

• Because of his friendship with MacCready and hearing Mac's second hand stories from his Vault 101 friend back in the capital wasteland, he knows all too well of Vault-Tecs experiments in the different vaults. So when he meets the Sole Survivor and finds out what happened to them, he has even more of a reason to hate the company, a personal reason even.

• He LOVES pda in front of people like Pre-BB Danse, X6-88, etc, just to watch them squirm.

• You can pry this from my cold, dead hands, but you can still see a glimer of his concept art blue eyes under the blacked out part from a specific angle in specific lighting. He doesn't notice it until someone who he trusts enough to get that close tells him. He gets a bit warm and fuzzy but doesn't know why.

• (I read that Fahrenheit isn't his daughter in Canon, just in coding terms, so imma run with it) Even though Fahrenheit isn't his daughter he treats her as such. They met when she was young and he took care of her, basically saving her life. So out of loyalty and to repay a debt he constantly tells her doesn't exist, she took up the job of body guard. That and he taught her to play chess as a kid to get her mind off of bad things and that's why when she first meets Sole, she constantly makes chess references.

• He hates the irony that his new identity first name is also John. As much as he wants to forget his old life and name, it's still a bigger annoyance in his mind than he'd like.

• Becuase of being a ghoul, he's a lot warmer than youd think. So much so, sometimes sleeping in a settlement that has cats, he would wake up with one or more on his chest asleep with him.

• He used to hang out in the dinner above Diamond City, the one you have to parkour up to in-game, and do chems in secret away from everyone.

• (This may be something from my personal game becuase as soon as I sent him to a settlement, he started farming without me telling him to do so) He would work at the farm in Diamond city to get money for his chems.

• Loves loves loves leading people on when they think he's an older ghoul and ask what life was like prior to the bombs. "I'm telling you man, deathclaws used to be tiny. Teenage boys would keep them as pets. Feed 'em those little fish from the can. Their bites? Wouldn't even pierce the skin!"

• Even though he "gets around", he is so very touch starved. Like a close friend or significant other hugging him, touching his hands, straightening his clothes, even stealing his hat, he just melts on the inside.

• He knows Nick from his time in Diamond City. Loved to annoy the old synth as a kid and consitters Nick one of his only friends growing up.

i read like a thousand books (three) in my time away and wow i had a good fucking time.. okay so based off of your recommendation, i read klara and the sun which.. admittedly had been collecting dust on my shelf since last august i think.. big massive heavy regret on that front,, it was so beautiful and it's like the second book i've ever read where i could like picture everything so clearly omds it was so descriptive and i loved it and klara and her mind so much it was such a lovely read so thank you for mentioning it otherwise it would have sat for a bit longer i'm sure !!!

then i read a certain hunger and OHHHHHH my days,,, that fucking book.. my second favourite read of the year so far so amazing .. it was wild and i loved it, amazing,,, so interesting like i don't think i've read anything like that before .. wow.. i loved the narrative and like that part at the end w alex.. imagine if she'd said yes.. hmm – i also found her friendship with emma (at least after the arrest thing) so touching and lovely,,, that letter (4 lines) she wrote was so sweet and i think dolls is such a cute little nickname too

and i just finished reading exciting times by naoise dolan which i really enjoyed too.. if you like sally rooney you'll like this book (most likely,,, i love sally rooney and loved this) but yes.. just a very simple and i guess in a way sometimes dull depiction of the life of an irish woman (22 (?) year old) who moves to hong kong to teach england and it follows the relationships and stuff she experiences while she's there,,, i really really loved it !!!

I’m am absolutely ECSTATIC that you loved kats because it’s by far one of my fav reads of the year. ishiguro is so good at world building and tbh I’m absolutely terrified of AI’s and the idea of robots taking over but by the end of the book I was so captivated by klara and her motives and I had literal tears streaming down my face when I finished. if you liked ishiguro’s writing I’d def recommend never let me go! it’s a lot more self reflective thank kats but wowww it is still amazing. I’m currently reading a pale view of hills which is his debut novel and it’s interesting.. I like it so far (only 30 pages in) but I’m not finding it as gripping as his other stories.

I genuinely have not read a single book quite like it but I loved it sm 😫 omg the end w alex sent me for a loop as much as I understood where she was coming from part of me wishes she accepted his proposal and lived a happy life instead of… you know 😵‍💫 I wish emma was in the book way more tbh!!! she was such an interesting side character and I agree w you their relationship was a nice break from everything else that was going on.

when I first moved into my new rental place I was without internet for almost 2 weeks so I read a fuck ton and have more recs for you! (apologies in advance for clogging up everyones dash w this long ass post)

well I reread bunny and loved it even more the second time since I could kinda work out all of the unexplained odds and ends, and then I read mona award’s new book all’s well and really enjoyed it! def not as much as bunny but it was still good and super trippy and had a very insane mc which always keeps things fun 😼

sticking w the theme of crazy main characters i finished nightbitch by rachel yoder and it is my most annotated book by far like… shit was insane. it’s about a stay at home mom who gave up her job of being an artist and she starts to think that she’s slowly turning into a dog and kinda joins a cult with other stay at home moms. very weird and unsettling at times but also very very interesting and well written!

I think I remember telling you about breasts and eggs by mieko kawakami awhile ago (still one of my top reads of the year) but I just read heaven by her and it felt as if my heart was ripped out of my chest and stomped on repeatedly. it’s about these 2 middle school kids who bond over being the victims of bullying and 🤧 it destroyed me to say the least but was also so beautifully written

last one I promise I promise then I’ll shut the fuck up but slow days fast company by eve babitz!!! super short but veryyy fun and summery and made me feel like a sore loser for not being alive in LA in the 70’s. it’s a memoir but does not feel like one bc it’s so so fun 💗

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy my work!! ♥️🥰 And gosh, yes this is indeed a hard one, but not too hard, - the only problem is the list always changes for me depending on what character I’m feeling more emotionally connected to at the moment. 😂

18+ ONLY | MINORS DNI - THIS IS MY OPINION

I’ll keep it simple (not really, I’m going in-depth):

1. Ransom Drysdale

He will always be first. Each time I rewatch ‘Knives Out’, my attachment to him reignites. His style, his persuasive, demanding and manipulative demeanor is so fucking hot and what’s hinted to him having a shitty childhood (because he’s parents are shitty) is fan fic fuel for me to reshape him as a character without leaving far away from the actual source material. He’s an egotistical and arrogant bastard and my toxic trait thinks I could fix him. 😭

I want him over me and do whatever the hell he wants to me. I bet I would cry because he’s a little intimidating but I honestly don’t care. I’ll let myself be distracted of his beautiful face.

2. Jake Jensen

I want to give my first, marry and give a child to someone like Jake, - correction I want to give it all to Jake himself. A man who cares about the ones closest to him and is awkwardly humorous to the point where you can’t help but melt how absolutely adorable he is. He would know how to brighten your day even if it’s your worst, and he’s just so open, I know living a life with him wouldn’t be boring. He would be such a good father and husband (we’ve already seen how supportive of an uncle he is), and he seems so gentle, it gives me comfort.

His shy and awkward demeanor tells me he’s a bit of a sub, and while I’m 100% a sub as well, I would exclusively think of switching if my man’s exactly like Jake, - sweet, humorous and not threatening in the slightest. I want to ride Jake so bad it’s actually a constant thot in my mind.

3. Johnny Storm

This is a hard one because Johnny and Steve always switch places but I’ve been in a good Johnny mood these past weeks so I’ll put him above Steve for now.

What makes Johnny great is he does not have a completed character arc, which opens a whole new world of imaginations and creativity. It’s so obvious they were going to set him up with a woman for the third installment but that never came, which to me is great! Again it’s my toxic trait of thinking I could change men to be a better person because I’m just that ✨ special ✨.

Also while I have a thing for older and mature men, something about being with a bold immature manchild and manwhore is so hot to me. Like yes sir, let me be that special woman in your life from your hundreds of previous partners. 💅

4. Steve Rogers

I love Steve and adore him sm… - up until the very end of which his finale character arc is questionable and so unappealing to me personally it actually makes me a lil mad. 😭😭 I could talk all day of how his ending ruined his character arc AND Peggy Carter’s (yes I like her, go watch Agent Carter it’s so good and I think you’ll like her too if you watch it - otherwise please don’t judge me) but I won’t, so I keep it simple of pretending it never happened.

His whole story of being from the past is such a cool concept to me. I want to teach Steve all about the modern world of what he doesn’t learn through his line of work, and I love how much of a gentleman he is from the 40s etiquette. He’s husband material for sure.

ALSO LET ME NOT FORGET TO MENTION HE AWOKE MY SIZE KINK! All those smutty fics of him being so huge, and fucking the reader with an abnormally large dick makes me so horny, I can’t —

5. Andy Barber

Andy hasn’t been occupying my thots as much lately but I love his character and I stand be the fact he’s the ‘dommest of them daddies’. This man of law would have been kinkier if his wife was too.

Like I want him to spit in my mouth and tell me I’ve been a bad girl while he fucks me from behind and calls me his dumb whore. I know deep down he’s into that, Laurie’s just holding him back.

6. Ari Levinson

Ari is hot and sexy, - all the good stuff. BUT it’s so hard to get fueled by him because he’s in one movie where he is one of many characters and we don’t get to know him that well. 😭😭 We really be having no choice other than going off what we think would be canon for his character but it’s ultimately not, which is kind of a bummer. I’m only attached to Ari in fan fics, not so much from the movie - which is fine but my main point still stands, we should have gotten more interactions from him.

But yeah, he can get it anytime from me. 😏

Last year, I did a post looking back at some of the j2 moments 2019 and the 2010’s decade had given us, this year with it being so shit and so many of us needing some cheering up I thought I’d do a 2020 version.

So before we say fuck off to 2020 here are some of the j2 moments this year has given us:

SM isn’t everything but it’s still cute when the boys interact with each other online and the year actually started with it, with both boys liking each other’s New Year’s pictures with their kiddos:

Those weren’t the only SM interactions, on a more recent example by which I mean December they had this cute little exchange under a pic Jared posted were he was sleeping:

Of course nothing compares to the best SM moment of the year: Jared’s beautiful, emotional, touching, heartfelt birthday message for Jensen 🥺:

Before everything went under lockdown we got one convention, among the moments we got from it were:

- Jared talking about his birthday post to Jensen, calling Jensen his boy and saying that he has pictures of him and Jensen just hanging out on his phone

To me one of the best j2 moments 2020 gave us was the release of this amazing EW photoshoot that I will forever be in love with (especially this cover I will never be over this cover) 😍

This photoshoot was the gift that kept on giving! Not only did we get beautiful new photos of the boys, but we also got some amazing content from the bts like

Look at them! The way Jensen closes his eyes and leans into Jared, the way they look at each other this is what love looks like people! 🥰 Find someone who will look at you like how j2 look are looking at each other in that gif. 

And even the accompanying interview gave us a little something with Jared saying that he burrowed strength from Jensen when he was struggling with the job

Padalecki, 37, who’s been vocal about his struggle in the early seasons, says. “I borrowed strength from Jensen.” x

And this is barely the tip of the iceberg I’m just providing some examples of what that photoshoot gave us but it was a feast!

Summer seemed to be the never ending dry spell, many wondered ‘will we ever get j2 content again?’ and the answer was...yes!

Starting with a little interview the boys did with small moments such as

And Jensen confirming he and Jared still live near one another.

When Jensen appeared for the second time on Rosenbaum’s podcast he spend a good part of it being fond over Jared and making them sound totally married sharing a story about Jared’s preferred breakfast burrito and how he and Jared have bickered over it and of course starting of the panel by making it clear covid or no covid him and Jared would be making out:

The boys had a joint virtual Q&A panel filled with moments, they were joking around, they made each other laugh, and it all started with Jensen saying how handsome Jared looked.

When filming wrapped up Jared and Jensen had their own celebration with dinner and champagne at one of their favorite restaurants:

"Jared and I wrapped on Thursday, and Saturday night he and I went to one of our all-time favorite restaurants, just us, and toasted with some champagne," Ackles says. x

Those two can’t get enough of each other so they road tripped part of the way home together!

“He and I just drove together all of our stuff across the border. So, we drove up together for season 1 and we drove away together for season 15.” - Jensen in the Chelsea Davis interview

With Supernatural coming to an end a lot of interviews took place and provided us with content:

The Talk interview gave us a married moment, when the boys were asked who had the messier dressing room Jensen replied Jared did to which Jared literally went no sir, no sir. 

The CNN interview had the boys admitting not working together will be an adjustment with Jensen saying “So, it will be different, and that’s probably when he and I will call each other and be like, ‘I miss you so much!’” as well as this moment  "Oh, I thought you meant we fell in love," Ackles quips."We fell in love, too," Padalecki jokes. When I add that plotline was only in fan fiction, Ackles retorts, "Or was it?" Padalecki erupts in laughter. "There it goes the internet."

In an interview with Chelsea Davis Jensen once again brought up that him and Jared will be contacting each other from their new shows

“Jared said it, he’s like I don’t think it’s really gonna set in until we walk unto the set of some other show. But that’s fine cause then we’ll just turn around and call each other and be like ‘what’s your show like?’”

Jensen saying that 15yrs ago him and Jared got on a rollercoaster (Supernatural) and that he couldn’t have asked for a better partner:

Jared comparing him and Jensen finishing the show to the time they ran the Seattle Marathon together (yes, the marathon they ran together and crossed the finish line holding hands) 😭❤: 

“There were a lot of tears all over but Ackles and I were looking at each other like, ‘Man’. It was kind of like finishing the Seattle Marathon. We did it. Dude, we did it, you know? We put in the work…I’ve been with you for 15 years, 15-½ years. I’ve seen you sweat. I’ve seen you bleed. I’ve seen you hurt. I’ve seen you going through stuff personally and put it aside for this show, for your character and I know I’ve done the same and it was bittersweet.”  x

Ackles says he was “floored” by the gift: “And it's cool, because now Jared and I can just drag-race around Austin.”

“If we get pulled over, it'd be like, ‘Don't worry. FBI Agent Robert Plant,’" Padalecki adds.

“We've got FBI badges in the glove box,” Ackles confirms.

The last virtual panel of the year was Jared’s and it was full of love for Jensen; Jared mentioned him often, unprompted he shared the story of when the twins were born and how hectic it was for him and Jensen to return to Austin in time for their birth honestly hearing him talk about it it’s clear how important that day was for him too and it’s just so sweet, he said him and Jensen will definitely work together again and he hopes it’ll be sooner rather than later, also said Jensen has a standing invitation to do whatever he wants on Walker, and implied he’s already looked at his schedule to see if he could make it up to Toronto where Jensen will be working in 2021. 

And these are just some moments; I know that with everything going on and time losing all meaning it might have seemed like we had a j2-less year but as you can see that’s not true cause not even a pandemic or this hellish year were able to stop or dim the beauty that is j2 and their relationship. 

This men make me so ridiculously happy, and with this being such a hard year for all of us, for some more than others, it makes me all that extra grateful for them and to them for bringing a smile to my face. I hope that with this post they will bring a smile to yours. I personally am looking forward to seeing what j2 goodies 2021 gives us, I’m hopeful there’ll be plenty, our boys have new projects coming out, God willing cons will be able to pick up again in a safe way, and there’ll be even more j2 content to enjoy.
