If there ever was a way to get a marketing campaign going for a revival without giving away world and character lore that Rebecca is saving for a revival, this would be the way! These "leaks" are absolutely getting folks talking about the series a bunch!

skin tone aside i think what's throwing a lot of people off to make the natlan character designs seem like "pokemon" or "not genshin" is that the designs are relatively modern-looking compared to the fantasy/traditional aesthetic that genshin usually goes for. if anything i'd have expected these kinds of designs from zenless zone zero

i have two ideas/au if tenma ever appears in VR

first one. He is like a big brother figuur to haru, he used to babysit him when haru was younger and lets him have days with his new dog (sadly sasuke cannot live forever)

second idea. tenma for some reason becomes the new coach for one of the rival teams and his honestly just trying to get the kids to get rid of the toxic and bad habits they got from their past coach and make the team a safe place for them.

big bro Tenma 🫶 after babysitting haru I can see him still appearing every now and then as a cool older kid (or wherever the timeline would place his age at) who gives important advice for the situation, on purpose or not! and he definitely deserves a new dog!!

also, uh, sharing an idea I got from here because at first my brain read Haru as Unmei and ran with it before I could confirm. but it has a tiiiny reference to VR beta victory gallery so I'm putting it under read more for easy skipping!

yeah so, that one Unmei ref sheet makes it seem like he spent some time in hospital when he was young, so my first thought about VR Tenma was "what if he keeps going to hang out at the hospital and playing soccer with kids stuck there and he brings his dog to the yard sometimes"

(90% of the time drawing this went to figuring out what the heck to do with Tenma's hair lol)

i might be alone in this opinion, but i wish leaks weren't so common place bc sometimes i do want to be surprised about something instead of having it spoiled for me

oh no no you're most definitely not alone in that opinion buddy. it has been a bit of an irk lately for genshin fans that at this point even ARCHON QUESTS can be leaked (from context to full on dialogues like). i myself were really flabbergasted when the the first leak the 1.0 playerbase got was a render sheet about different characters who we had no idea about.

and i'm usually a person who doesn't mind leaks or spoilers of any kind - but there's something about the quantity of leaks that comes forth from both genshin and star rail that does irritate me just because of the sheer amount that gets handed out on a silver platter. a silver platter most didn't ask for, but gladly eats up. i understand someone's point of wanting to know who comes next to save up or so to say, be "safe"-

but star rail already implemented that saving factor by giving us the next patch banners that comes AFTER an upcoming patch update (i don't know how to explain this in an easy way, but literally Huo Huo and Argenti for 1.5 when we about to go into 1.4 with Jingliu and Topaz who we were informed about a couple of weeks into patch 1.3) that's already generous enough because even genshin don't be doing that - the leaks be doing that for them.

i mean, star rail leakers has already datamined like at least 8 upcoming characters at this point (i don't even know if im exaggerating that number) all from their designs, names to possible path too

but again, to each their own. some like that reassurance while others hate it. in my humble opinion though, both of these games would be a lot more hyped up and have a more excited reaction if we had zero idea who would come next.

anyway compared to chris and leon, claire is hyper aware AND hyper focused about press. while they engage and interact with press as well, there's always a sort of wall between them - they're sheltered by implicit laws ( read: they're sheltered and have a pr team ). claire on the other way? the freedom of speech that comes with working for terrasave and transparency that the ngo prides itself of create a situation where she's basically thrown to the wolves - everything about her work is scrutinized but even more so her private life. you can count on ten fingers the articles praising her, but misogyny mostly takes over everything. her efforts always get played down, there's always someone who could do things better than her or men silently accepting the credit given to them for things they didn't do.

she pretends to not care about it because otherwise people around her would wonder if she's cut to lead, but truth is that she always makes decisions based on what the press would say about her ( always giving for granted it's something negative ).

Understand that Columbina loves you very much. Genuinely.

She barely registers it, the thought of helping in a meaningful way doesn't even occur to her. Her reaction to seeing someone she loves die is about the same level as if they were only having a mildly rough day.

While she is physically there her perspective is on the outside of the fishbowl peering in. There's distance between her and the targets of her affection. You can't reason her into stirring more because it simply has nothing to do with her.

But she loves you. And she'll be by your side as she sees your path to its end.

I haven’t really bitched about this yet but I have to at this point but. the guy who built the shower fucked up big time as we know and it’s going to destroy the floor fairly soon if we can’t get it repaired but! apparently if we just dry the floor (which has lichen growing on it!) and put silicon in the door it’ll be fine. guess who’s saying that! the same woman who threw out the paperwork (illegally, btw, there’s a certain amount of years you need to keep certain paperwork, and whilst grandpa did keep everything for twenty-one years which is iirc a very specific thing to do with minors and estates. definitely to do with a beneficiary coming of age. that doesn’t mean you should bin all paperwork asap. anyway it’s like eighteen months til we could legally bin that particular stuff but she did it anyway and it would’ve been sensible to keep it longer even if there hadn’t been problems with the thing since it was constructed). like. unless she wants to get the floor replaced she needs to quickly learn that we need to get someone in to fix this
