answering this for kira hiroto even though i still dont know him because i havent watched areori entirely... i have seen clips though.

these two are one of my two big motivations in finishing the show because every clip i have seen of them are interesting. their dynamic, their expressions, the way they bounce off the other characters. i genuinely want to know what's wrong with them /pos. i think I would love them very much after knowing them more and i even enjoy them as a ship

that is all to say that unlike my other headcanons, the ones i have for them are based on vibes alone. here's some hirohai date hcs (im sorry if theyre terrible, i'll update it after finishing areori):

the most intense game of lazer tag - they killed defeated all the other players first before trying to kill each other (they were also comparing their kills)

staring at the ground in the park because they were banned in the aquarium they were in after exactly 30 minutes of being inside there

intimidated their way into a fancy restaurant (paid by the card hiroto stole from his dad's wallet)

I watched the trailer during class and I almost felt like crying, I can't wait to get vroh on mobile (hopefully if they do)

It's hard not to think back to 2017 when the last Inazuma Eleven project was announced. Won't talk much about it, but instead focus on the big amount of information, PV, Teasers, side projects and the absurd amount of merch that we got bombarded with, and that you can still find today since it was Inazuma Eleven 10th anniversary. Ares and Orion truly live through merch, and good for them!

But Victory Road has been more subtle, quiet even. Level-5 knows of its past mistakes with the 2 scraped Ares games, showing us a different side that's only focused on the main game. No crossmedia project, no anime adaptation, only the animated Unmei and Haru (with not a single line of dialogue either) scene made by MAPPA. We don't have a release date yet, who knows if it gets pushed! But it truly shows how this game wants to still be part of Inazuma Eleven's legacy, yet be its own thing.

Like the concept art showing you the new cast in their moments of quietness, this sensation is the future of the franchise. And I'm here for it.

i have two ideas/au if tenma ever appears in VR

first one. He is like a big brother figuur to haru, he used to babysit him when haru was younger and lets him have days with his new dog (sadly sasuke cannot live forever)

second idea. tenma for some reason becomes the new coach for one of the rival teams and his honestly just trying to get the kids to get rid of the toxic and bad habits they got from their past coach and make the team a safe place for them.

big bro Tenma 🫶 after babysitting haru I can see him still appearing every now and then as a cool older kid (or wherever the timeline would place his age at) who gives important advice for the situation, on purpose or not! and he definitely deserves a new dog!!

a bigass japanese akita was the first one to come to mind, I can't get rid of the idea that she'd be called Kinako... (and if he had a western breed, maybe Arthur?)

also, uh, sharing an idea I got from here because at first my brain read Haru as Unmei and ran with it before I could confirm. but it has a tiiiny reference to VR beta victory gallery so I'm putting it under read more for easy skipping!

yeah so, that one Unmei ref sheet makes it seem like he spent some time in hospital when he was young, so my first thought about VR Tenma was "what if he keeps going to hang out at the hospital and playing soccer with kids stuck there and he brings his dog to the yard sometimes"

(90% of the time drawing this went to figuring out what the heck to do with Tenma's hair lol)

They really enhance the feeling that VR will be a celebration of the entire Inazuma Eleven franchise :D

No but the second season of Inazuma Eleven still has me on a chokehold to be honest. Yes the overall plot is silly but. The constant threat that feels omnipresent. When one team is defeated after what seemed immense amount of effort there is another one, unbeatable. The players leaving one by one, so that there's always the threat of the team being one player down. The loss of the staples of the team, Gouenji, Kazemaru. The closest we ever get to see Endou to breaking. Fubuki's disastrous mental health that puts him in physical danger. All of that at the same time

Literally what were they smoking and I hope the VR story goes at least a little bit like that (if they manage to finish it hehe)
