Sketchbook Saturday: Drawing cars.
First page was me making notes on how to draw cars. breaking down into simple shapes, mainly.
Pages 2-4 are just me drawing more cars trying to be gestural and cartoony.
Cars are not easy to draw. But like everything else you can figure them out. And eventually you can develop a short hand. I practiced drawing one car. I'm pretty sure it was a 1966 Aston Martin, because I liked old James Bond.
I find now drawing cars can be a lot of drawing faces. There's a structure, and same set of features, and then you play around with proportion and angles. Drawing can be a lot of fun!

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

Y'all I know that when so-called AI generates ridiculous results it's hilarious and I find it as funny as the next guy but I NEED y'all to remember that every single time an AI answer is generated it uses 5x as much energy as a conventional websearch and burns through 10 ml of water. FOR EVERY ANSWER. Each big llm is equal to 300,000 kiligrams of carbon dioxide emissions.
LLMs are killing the environment, and when we generate answers for the lolz we're still contributing to it.
Stop using it. Stop using it for a.n.y.t.h.i.n.g. We need to kill it.
