So, this is Jordan in the year 2077. Her voice is gravelly from the years of alcohol and smoking. She is kind of like Karim, still longing for the olden days but not living in them. After arasaka tower she did not know what to believe, so many people had their own version of what happened there. She was on Johnny's side, of course, since fuck corpos. But what really happened? It ate her for years until she realized none of it mattered. She started songwriting and has performed in a couple underground clubs and such but nothing fancy.

I had a 15hrs flight a couple of days ago so I finally took the opportunity to start The Silt Verses (because of your blog) and let me say: uh! It really is good, isn't it?

Also I was expecting for it to be way more.. horrifying? So far it's pretty tame (I only listened up to ep 8 yet).

i mean, that means you did just listen to paige telling you about watching her laid off colleagues getting cooked alive as sacrifices, so idk what your threshold for "tame" is, but it definitely gets more directly-in-your-ears-as-if-you're-there grotesque in s2 and beyond. s1's sound design is the weakest and least flexible.

#i dont think s1 really unsettled me much either tbh. it has some objectively great horror moments though.#if you see this and remember by the time you get to it. tell me how haywards very bad catering gig made you feel.

Bless that trophy wife anon because they’re right. There’s no way mindscape citizens see whatever dipper does in the real world as a real career and he has no job in bill’s realm either, whether he likes it or not he’s entwined with bill’s world and his people and he can’t blame them for thinking his job is being bill’s husband.

That’s what pisses him off, the fact that they’re right.

No matter how Dipper protests that yes, he DOES have a job, the beings in the Fearamid don't believe it's 'real', or worse - humor him, then give Knowing Looks to the other demons in the room.

Meanwhile, Bill knows it's real - but sometimes he plays along like it isn't just to piss Dipper off.
