Pagans and witches, we have a duty.

We have a duty to our fellow humans, regardless of your or their religion or spirituality. The Israeli genocide of Palestinians cannot be allowed, and as pagans and witches, we must help in any way we can.

We have a duty to the earth, our home, our mother. Israel destroys it with its bombs, its phosphorous; poisons her very blood.

We have a duty to uphold justice. Witchcraft has always been a skill of the underdog, and there are countless deities of justice to whom many of us pay reverence. That isn't even mentioning how animism could factor into this.

We have a duty to protest, or at the very least, share and donate fundraisers. You can also buy an eSIM for Gazans starting at $9.

As a devotee of Freyja I consider caring for my cats a sacred task. Especially the babygirl in my room (Muffin). I like to give her fresh air (cracking the window just a bit so she can get all the sniffs and outdoor smells) and making sure she’s played with, cuddled with, and entertained 24/7. She’s such a good baby. I’m so lucky to have a companion like her. ���️🌿🐈‍⬛

I, for example, fall under atheist because while I'm not convinced of the existence of any deity I remain open to change my mind due to a strong enough personal experience. Thus I only claim my belief to be provisional. Someone who does not claim certainty of their belief about their one god/many gods/everything being a god would fall under monotheism/polytheism/pan(en)theism respectively.

St Patrick's Day - a very very bizarre celebration indeed. A British and Roman priest who attempted to annihilate the Druids, conducted exorcisms to banish the great Irish faery deity Aine, who told lies about the faery, who claimed he threw Pagan women who would not convert into the ocean and they became mermaids, who "drove out the snakes" (the Pagan ways) and attempted to turn the great bright god Lugh into Lugh-chromain (Little stooping Lugh) which would become "lephrecaun". I adore the Irish. I revere Ireland. I have that old blood singing within my veins. But this day is a day to celebrate the survival of the Old Ways despite what this "Saint" represented and the cruel action he took. Today, I wear the green, for the fae, for the Old Ways, for the shining ones and the deep love of the land. Blessings to you all my friends. A blessing on the survival of the old ways, and of the Truth emerging from the distortions of history.
