i present to you another Junora wip (and fanart), but what else is new? LOL

June looks back at her best friend, smiling to herself at the way Nora sticks out her tongue in concentration as she moves on to apply shimmery eyeshadow to June’s brow bone. Their faces are close enough for June to make out the beauty mark that’s placed right above her cupid's bow. The birthmark that Nora complains about on multiple occasions and hides with foundation. It’s not very often June gets to see her this way: barefaced and unfiltered. Her curls sit in a messy, unruly mop at the top of her head, as opposed to the slicked back bun she wears to public events. She’s beautiful.

“So what ever happened with Jeremy?”

“I, uh, ended things with him,” June says quietly. Nora pauses her movements, pulls her hand away from June’s face and gives her wide, questioning eyes. “wasn't feelin’ it, I guess.”

So I just finished Chapter 7 of RWRB (im reading it before i watch the movie), and June, Pez, and Nora have to be together. Or at least slept together. Bc there is no way they all came out looking crazy, with Nora having lipstick on her, and nothing happened. I wish there was more on them but it doesn't look like it from the Google search I did. I would love to read a book on them!!!

It's hard not to think about that night, especially when June is sitting on the couch with her feet propped up onto Nora’s lap. She’s gently rubbing at the soles of June’s feet with her thumbs, glancing every few minutes from the TV to her face.  Nora can't help but admire June; now changed out of her work clothes and  wearing a white tank top and shorts she stole from Nora. Her wavy hair is pinned back with a butterfly claw clip she only ever wears in the comfort of their home. June bites her lip in concentration as she focuses on her writing. Nora doesn’t realize she’s stopped rubbing June’s feet until she looks up at her with a playful glare. “Don’t stop, my feet are killing me.” June groans. “Flats are terrible for your feet, how many times do I have to tell you that?” Nora clips back, letting a smile spread across her lips when June rolls her eyes in response. “Or do you just need an excuse for me to take care of you?” Nora lets the last part slip, not necessarily regretting it but still remaining cautious of the reaction it pulls out of June. But to her surprise, there is none. June goes back to typing away on her laptop and nudges her foot back into Nora’s hand.

Alex and Nora make a pact when they're kids to get married if they're still single at 30. They do, and it's fun for like a month, until Nora and June get their shit together... and then they meet Pez.

Alex has the brilliant idea to throw a huge divorce party since their wedding was so small. All their friends and family come through, including Pez's best friend Henry.

Two years later, all the same people are gathered at the same venue... for Alex and Henry's wedding.
