Interviewing my Pokemon on events happening near us (part 1)

Noodles, my Flareon, is sitting on the table, cleaning her leg. I approach her with my fancy pretend microphone, an empty pen.

"Noodles, what do you think of the bake sale the elemental school is doing?"

She looks up from cleaning herself to stare at me with round eyes. Her tongue is still hanging out.

"According to our sources, they plan to donate the funds to the local shelter. Any thoughts on that?"

She's still staring, tongue still out. Pose hasn't changed.

"Alright... Anything you want to tell our audience?"

Noodles is staring into space with round eyes. Perhaps she is looking into the future, foreseeing the results of the bakesale.

I decide to end the interview.

Onion has seen us put on bandaids when we hurt ourselves on multiple occasions, so now she seems to believe that bandaids = potions for humans. When she sees someone hurt and/or crying, she'll bring them a bandaid. (I have no clue where she gets them from tbh)

She also "sings" to herself occasionally.

When Noodles trusts you, she'll groom you (or at least try too). She believes it's her job to keep her friends clean and tidy.

When she trusts you even more and sees you sitting/laying down, she'll flop her entire body on top of you for nap time. (No, you may not leave. It's the law.)

Fidget is a very chatty mon, so he'll make a bunch of snom noises at you. You can hold entire "conversations" with him. (He doesn't care that you don't speak snom and he doesn't speak human. It's the thought that counts.)

When he wants you to hand him something (he loves holding things), he will move his pincers/mandibles in a "grabbing" motion and wiggle his little feetsies.

Soot adores plushies and will cuddle them every chance he gets. He'll bring you one too when he notices you're not doing too good.

He knows how to make pancakes, and he WILL make you pancakes. That is a threat. He'll find you and give them to you. No, he doesn't care that you're on the toilet. It's pancake time.

Ya know what? It’s recovery time.

Baby’s first self insert doodle on this blog!

I love @pinklemonfruit’s dragon AU! Her designs for the guys are so diverse and creative. She was kind enough to let me do some self insert scribbles with her dragon!Jyushi!

Erin met Jyushi when they were kids! She freed him from a trap, patched him up, and they quickly became friends. They were thick as thieves until she had to move with her family. Years later she’s back as an adult and immediately tracked Jyushi down to catch up.

She tries to keep to herself due to the nearby village suspecting her of being a wicked sorceress. She knows a lot about plants and herbs, makes brews and potions.

Least she’s got good company in the cute derg man! It’s almost like they never parted; her feelings for him are just as strong. Maybe even more so-

[Hello, welcome to this silly little blog! This blog is (obviously) a Pokémon-YTTD crossover, so expect some crazy stuff happening. Each character is controlled by a different person; if you want to send an ask to a mun, specify which one (just say Sou mun or Kanna mun).

This AU takes places on a timeline where both Kanna and Sou died, Kanna dying first. After dying, they basically were isekai'd. They still remember everything from their previous life.

A little warning: This blog may be a bit... disturbing to some people, since it's related to Your Turn To Die.

Pokémon Month

Day 29: Penny

Personal Opinion: While I would admittedly have some gripes about the execution surrounding her, Penny is still a character I thoroughly enjoyed and have a certain liking for. I like how not everyone in Pokémon will always be the nicest person even if they’re a good one, and her personality adds a great piece of the dynamic to the full group once it forms.

What was kept: Penny’s team is made up entirely of Eeveelutions and I literally have zero problem with that. I love this honestly, and just keep everything the way it is. Her Umbreon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, Jolteon, Flareon, and Tera Sylveon can all keep trucking along as they please.

Substitutions/Replacements: Penny has a great team and I see no need to replace any member. So Penny gets to have everything stay exactly the way it is, and I will instead leave you with this silly thought: Anyone else think that she might be Adaman and Irida’s descendant?

Favorite Sandwich: My chosen sandwich for Penny is the Herbed Sausage Sandwich, which consists of Herbed Sausage, Lettuce, Ketchup, and Mustard. A simple sandwich for a simple person like Penny that would likely take not too much effort to make, making it easy to stay in one’s room so long as the groceries can still be delivered. Though now the question is does she prefer sandwiches or instant noodles?

So like previously mentioned, Danny is definitely a Big Dude in this. Like a really big and bulky dude, who is very gentle with both tiny and giant pokemon alike. Everyone gets affection and carried around like they’re his precious babies. 

Now he definitely has a mimikyu (Perseus) who likes to ride in his shirt pocket, along with a mischievous gengar (Orion) and phantump (Andromeda) he refers to as his son and daughter half jokingly. Ellie also jokingly calls them her siblings whenever she visits and causes mischief with them. 

And he has a miniature army of other wild pokemon who have followed him not just out of the pokemon world but around several dimensions and through time. They’re his lil pals- even when several are larger than him- and he’s their strange ghostly human.

Now he definitely does also have more, but these are the ones constantly following him, not including the ones who instead decided to travel with Ellie, stick with Jazz or go follow after Dan. Or stick with his parents. But y’know, here’s his many travelling friends who just refused to leave him. And most are wild and lacking any sort of pokeballs. Not that it stops him from having a couple of pet carriers or bags that the smaller ones like to hitch a ride in when they can’t perch on him. Or just straight up be carried. 

Damian is on a mission. It is his life goal, at least for now, to convince this stranger to let him have one of the creatures following him. If that means constantly running into him and trying to convince him, fine. If that means getting his father to meet the stranger, so be it as well. 

Currently his goal is for an eevee at the least, but he is also eyeing the other creatures and a couple of eggs that he has no clue what might be too…

The coffee tastes awful- just as bitter and overcooked as the smell would imply. But Lark associates it with positive things- friends in Almia, rituals and traditions, the joy of an inside joke- that make the horrendous flavor all part of the fun.

He's all too familiar with I've-never-been-fed eyes, and simply ignores the 'Starving' Mac. The pooch would probably not want what Lark was carrying anyway, not that that ever made a lick of difference to a begging pet. Instead his attention is drawn by the absolute monstrosity coming to life on Brandy's desk. "No one should ever put rice on a sandwich" he says with the wistful mourning of someone wishing for a world with no war.

"There is already a base carb in the bread. There is no need for rice, and noodles, and potatoes. Flareon forgive your trespasses against hospitality, hearth and home."

Lark arrives at Brandy's office with two mason jars. Both are full of a liquid so dark brown it's nearly black. It's thick, viscous, and somewhat oily. The smell is bitter. But, if considered carefully, identifiable as the scent of coffee grounds.

"Your motor oil, boss" Lark says, offering a jar to Brandy, and taking a sip of the other.

"Hold on bub, I'm creating over here." Brandy does not look up from her current task, which is apparently to use her bare hands to mash some noodles into some potato salad that is sitting on top of a layer of hamburger patties, which are sitting on top of a layer of rice, which is sitting on top of a layer of pungent klawf sticks. The table around her is littered with sandwich debris, no doubt casualties of her attempts at properly stacking the Paldean delicacy. The floor underneath her is incredibly clean, no doubt due to the eager, pudgy poochyena on duty as a Hoover. Mac delicately puts a paw on Lark's boot, looking up at him with heartbroken, absolutely pathetic, I-Have-Never-Eaten-Once-In-My-Life-Please-Mister-I'm-Starving eyes.

Brandy finishes her task, wiping her buttery hands off on their jacket before reaching for the other jar from Lark. She twists it open, takes a whiff, and immediately recoils. "Oh, that is rank." She laughs. "I think it'll go great with the klawf sticks. They're surprisingly salty."
