Btw for people who don't know what squicks are: 'Squicks' are just personal preferences that someone doesn't like. Nothing wrong with em it's just not your vibe. (Exp: Like how all my friends HATE tomatoes but I am tomato eater forever)

anyway long ramble list:

Can't read big blocks of text without breaks very well, and I dislike when characters (esp main characters that are talking in every chapter/scene) have bolded or italicized dialogue. I think it's fine for special reoccurring characters but it genuinely messes up with reading flow for me when it comes to taking in information if used too much

If I'm reading a fic specifically for a monogamous romantic paring, I don't care for the 'past lover interest reappears' trope or one of them currently has one, or the love triangle that results in one of them being like 'oh but i love them both i can't possibly choose!' *cough twilight cough* it just makes the relationship feel disgenuine and icky. zero stars. Any mention of a character's past relationship usually makes me just click out, just personally not here for that

-^^^ to go with this, big fan of the 'misunderstanding where someone thinks there's a love rivelry but the third person never had a chance.' Like to the main pairing there's only eyes for each other and that's all they care about, there's just some third person who's there and causing problems (either because someone in the pairing is jealous of the third person thinking they're gonna steal the other when it's not, or the third person thinks they're a love rival when in reality they're not even thought about) *cough Tyren cough*. I think there's a lotta comedy to have with this. Bonus points if it brings main pairing closer together

When characters have linear character development and recovery. I prefer my characters to realistically relapse and bit a little bit of a hypocrite as they develop from start of story to end. Failing and falling short and again makes the final result much more satisfying when they're healing

When characters use 'therapy speak' or otherwise react perfectly 'acceptable' to stressful situations. Again, I prefer realistic depictions of characters under stress, and work out becoming better under that stress rather than just One Big Thing Happen and suddenly they're never going to react negatively or lash out again because another character told them It Was Bad and To find Better Coping Mechanisms.

Unhappy endings. (Or open ended ones) Sorry for hurt/no comfort lovers but none of my fics will have unhappy endings. I like my stories to have people that go through absolute hell and still come out on the otherside

The ace in me doesn't care for fics where physical attraction is a large part of the ingredients that gets the pairing together. Not saying they can't admire each other when the sunlight hits them or wearing a nice outfit but just not a fan of reading about how 'sexy' a character is to another. Probably why I usually blast all my characters with the aspec beam

i follow many bug blogs because bugs are my favorite, but 90% of the time, none of the other blogs tag their posts, probably because they are not bug identifying blogs. As a person who is terrified of butterflies and moths (idk why) the fact that you tag them is a blessing, mostly because i still see them in pictures and Fear unlocks. I'm getting used to pictures at least, it's not horribad, but i appreciate that most of them do get blocked for me. Ty for all your bug identifying hard work, 10/10 i'm pretty sure i've mentioned this multiple times, but you are definitely a favorite blog.

Thank you! I tag both for my own organization so I can find posts easily and so people can block bugs they're not ready to see yet. I think that's an important part of getting over bug fear, to be able to avoid the ones that still squick you a bit.

I've enjoyed whump for as long as I can remember, when I was a kid I rewatched my favourite scenes in movies and reread the whumpiest parts of books I liked, later on I discovered listening to music and watching music videos and such to scratch that itch in my brain. I've been collecting whumpy songs (lyrics, lines and videos) since 2020, and the list just keeps growing, and now that I finally organised it, I thought I'd share it in the most fun format I could think of; the challenge was born, in a format that suits my personal quirks the best, which I hope you'll find to be easy to work with.

He’s sitting on his bathroom floor hoping that he’s wrong. Praying that when the alarm goes off on his phone that none of them are going to be positive. He’d rushed to his room after he’d kissed Jake goodbye at the door after another night spent wrapped in the blondes arms.

He’s already dreading telling Jake that their post mission hookup means they’re tied together for the next 18 years personally as they are professionally. He wants to keep Jake around because they’re choosing to be together not because they got caught up in the heat of another life threatening situation.

Bradley’s terrified at the prospect of having a kid but the idea of a tiny person with Jakes big green eyes and his curls sends a wave of exhilaration through his body. The blare of his phone timer going off startles him bad enough he accidentally rams his elbow into the side of the bathtub. “Fuck,” he growls slamming his hand down on his phone to shut the timer off before standing up to see what the three little pieces of plastic are gonna tell him.

Another thing. Caitvi versus Jayvik discourse rubs me the wrong way. PERSONALLY, I think if we all interacted with actual queer people outside of the internet, none of them would give a single shit. COMMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Hello, everyone! My circumstances are getting a little bit more complicated and it's been fairly tricky to find a job over the past year (aaand it's only going to get worse...), so it's time for me to fully, officially, reopen commissions. Some prices have increased since the last time I did this, mainly in the hopes that this reflects my improving skills a little better. Some options are quite costly (particularly the animations and comics) because they demand a ton more work than one might expect. Terms are also more strict than they used to be in order to ensure a more professional dynamic between myself and anyone who commissions me.

Send me a DM if you have a commission in mind, but first, make sure to read through the Read More. I want to expand on what's stated in the final picture to ensure better clarity on the terms of my services:

I'm open to working with any fandom or OC, be it one I'm familiar with or not. I'm also open to working with crossovers, as well as making book/fic/album covers, and even drawing real people as characters of a fandom of the commissioner's choice.

I am open to drawing ship/romance content but, tied directly to the next point...

I reserve the right to refuse any commissions that make me uncomfortable in any given way. This does not mean that everything besides my OTPs and the headcanons I support is guaranteed to be rejected, but it does mean that, if the behavior of the commissioner or the specific subject of the commission does not sit well with me, for any given reason, I will decline the commission. I won't work on something that squicks me, nor with someone who displeases me. No artist should.

Animals, mythological creatures, gore and +18 requests are fundamentally valid but must be discussed thoroughly first. None of these areas are my forte as an artist, as much as I've dabbled in them here and there, so, in order to get it right, I may need extra time and I will most likely modify the base price for any requests that includes these elements.

Payments will be done through PayPal or Wise. The final, full-resolution piece will not be delivered until full payment is completed. Half payment is expected at the start of the process, the second half at the end. The client is entitled to two revisions of the art process to ensure expectations are met. If a piece does not match your expectations after the revisions, the commission will be considered cancelled and you won't need to pay the second half of the expense. Any commissioner who wishes to pay upfront from the get-go does so at their own risk. Revisions are always included, but there will be no refunds if the final piece is not up to the commissioner's standards.

The commissioner is allowed to publish and share the commissioned work across social media, provided it follows the rules of each site (as in, don't post any +18 artworks on sites that do not allow it, pretty much). I can offer basic Glaze and Nightshade in order to protect the artwork from AI theft, to no added expense. Credit MUST be given to me as the artist whenever commissioned pieces are posted elsewhere.
