I’ve known I was trans masc since I was 14. I knew then that it would be years before I would be safe to transition (if I ever did at all).

It’s been years and I find little ways to express my gender but I’m in my twenties now and I still know it will be years until I will be safe to transition (if I ever will at all).

Which is a long way to say, I am trans masc and I haven’t transitioned yet. I look like a woman. I play the part of a woman for work, school and at home. People think I am a woman.

So, please tell me how I experience male privilege. Tell me how it’s misgendering myself to call the prejudice I face misogyny. Tell me how I materially benefit from my trans masc identity

Even though I use he/him for Tails usually (just cuz it's canon), I still try my best to use gender neutral terms to describe him.

Though of course, it doesn't always flow as nicely language-wise. Like. Saying "younger sibling" isn't the same as "little bro", you know what I mean. (Shoutout to "little buddy" ig.)

And sometimes describing someone as a girl or a boy actually highlights their age more than simply calling them a child (if this is something you want to highlight of course). Just things like that.

Though of course it doesn't have anything to do with sonic, it's just how language is, it's still adjusting, evolving, etc. and some things just need to be used more to not seem as jarring.
