Danny's first appearance as Phantom to the wider public over in Central City where he gets control over Ember. At first it was assumed he was a Super but that was quickly disregarded simply by the lack of association/symbol identifier and power set. Like how wild would it be to have some random villain no one has seen before wreck half the city with no way to stop them and a new hero come in and easily stop her when some of the top heroes couldn't.

Here is also Flash freaking because of a new hero as he was the first hero to actually see/interact with Phantom.

Also I still have no idea what to call this au so it's still going to be non shrike au till I figure it out, but thank you aus because that means slightly different designs and headcanons to incorporate! This AU takes place when the trio is all in college, nearing the end of their studies. Danny is majoring in Physics with duel minors in inorganic chemistry and maths over at Central City University. He's mostly living on his own without much help other than from Sam. Between breaks or semesters, Danny interns over at S.T.A.R. labs. Also because I can, Danny has faint lichtenberg scars on one side of his body that are now pretty hard to notice. He loses most of the playfulness with his fights as he gets older because he has things to do and the whole hero thing is just kinda a side gig at this point.

Even though they're apart, Sam, Tucker, and Danny all remain close. Sam ends up going to a different university, Gotham University specifically to study animal sciences. She works with wildlife rehabilitation centers or animal rescues throughout the town and donates to them. Tucker ends up at Star City University studying engineering with a minor in history, taking up a part time job to help manage the uni's computer labs.

sure. here are some more clear design things for the au I THINK your talking about? not really wing au, more angel AU, so a lot of the wings are purposefully unrealistic, or don't really correlate with real world birds.

[generally error [Butcher] is a northern jacana mixed with a shrike of some sort, ink [Song] is a non-specific hummingbird, and dream [Daydream] and nightmare [Nightterror] are both non-specific pigeons, with inverted wing colorations.]

[Nightterror has more broken fucked up wings, compared to the first image of him. Daydreams wings are purposely very fucked up and oversized, not preened and misaligned, dull colors, neither of them are able to fly. Second design of Song is more accurate.]

This is a diffrent au you might be speaking of? Rufous hummingbird ink, Common cuckoo fresh and wallcreeper error. Dream and Nightmare would just be rock doves or perhaps mourning doves. something soft and sweet like that

most of this art is pretty low effort wing/bird art, so if you want to see me actually drawing birds check out my bird centered sideblog @shittybirdart. I don't have the motivation to make real art all that much, so I don't post too often haha

Trigun Teen Titans AU

Meryl Stryfe aka Shrike, The Girl Wonder

-Former sidekick to Julai’s vigilante Derringer (Roberto).

-Chose a shrike instead of a robin bcz its size, ferocity & feather colours suit her more.

-Parents were a wealthy couple who stuck their nose in the wrong place & got killed for it.

-Was adopted by her investigative journalist idol, Roberto who was also her vigilante idol.

-Although og TT featured Dick Grayson, she’s more like Tim Drake in the sense that she deduced Roberto’s secret ID, stalked him with her camera & emailed him 999+ powerpoint slides titled ‘Why You Need A Sidekick (Like Me)’ until he gave in.

(-Also, she noticed Roberto’s alcoholism & his less than stellar coping mechanisms. Julai needs Derringer, but Roberto needed an actual person by his side, not just a mass of faces to protect.)

-Eventually got tired of being stuck in his shadow & struck out on her own.

-Then she met a tall hot alien princess, a guy who could shapeshift into the animal kingdom, his cyborg brother & a half-biblically accurate angel and persuaded them into forming a superhero team called the Teen Titans.

-Takes her position as leader (& the only non-superpowered individual) seriously but shows a softer side overtime, especially to Milly.

-The newspaper clippings in her room aren’t strictly for detective work. (Most) Some of them are for sentimental value.

Milly Thompson aka Stunfire, Tamaran’s Princess

-The youngest of 12 siblings in the Tamaranean monarchy.

-Powers are similar to Starfire’s, only her beams are yellow & can stun opponents.

-Gordanians kidnapped her as a bargaining chip against her family. As the youngest, they had no choice but to leave her on her own & prioritize their planet.

-Milly already knew this (because contrary to what many believe, she wasn’t stupid) & escaped on her own.

-Unfortunately, her attempts to remove the handcuffs caused a LOT of collateral damage & misunderstandings.

-A tiny but feisty human warrior talked her down & removed her bindings. Milly kissed her so she could thank her, though that might be difficult since she’s unmoving & her face is now red for some reason??

-Has a huge crush on Meryl but is a bit intimidated by her professionalism. Still, it’s even harder to NOT fall in love with the woman’s strong sense of justice & compassion.

-Visits cafes & goes on long flights with Vash, coaxes WW to try smaller cuter animals she can cuddle with & empathizes with fellow gentle-giant youngest sibling Livio's struggles to fit in/not be a burden.

-Loves to eat her pudding with mustard.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood aka Punisher, The Hunter

-Although every kid at the orphanage was a younger sibling to him, he felt a kinship to the strays, have it be cats, dogs or birds.

-One day, someone swung by, offering apprenticeships for some kinda fancy animal research school. WW liked animals & jobs like that sounded like they paid well, so why not?

-He instantly regretted this decision when he realized he was the ‘animal’ they planned to research.

(-The Eye of Michael is more or less this AU’s H.I.V.E. Academy.)

-Despite his rebelliousness, he was their top (specimen) student. Livio was also ‘enrolled’ to keep him in check.

-Both of them were assigned to the Gung-Ho Guns & sent on a mission to properly ‘graduate’. Instead, they ditched at the first chance.

-Wanted to hide but couldn’t resist lingering around the orphanage. After stopping someone from robbing the place, he realized maybe, just maybe, these powers he never asked for could be used for something other than senseless violence.

-Also, becoming a ‘hero’ was the biggest middle finger he could give to Chapel.

-The EoM constantly pressured him into using ‘strong animals’ but his teammates have slowly coaxed him into expanding, i.e. a cute cate for recon & a mole for hiding.

-Realizes he has feelings for Vash after getting to know him but feels unworthy of reciprocation. Still, that doesn’t stop him from plopping into his lap for emotional support.

Livio/Razlo Wolfwood aka Double-Fang, The Tri-Punisher

-Has always dreamed of being a hero but knew the best he could be was a doctor or firefighter or something.

-When the EoM returned with an empty slot, he jumped at the chance (even though Razlo said he shouldn’t, he really shouldn’t, you can’t trust them-).

-Wasn’t suitable for the animal genes, but his body adapted to the cybernetic modifications. They kept him around for Razlo & to ensure WW behaves.

-Eventually, they managed to escape. Livio was still optimistic about becoming a hero, but WW & Razlo were very reluctant.

-Once, Livio wandered too close to the orphanage & accidentally scared a younger kid who called him a monster. He went nonverbal & let Razlo front for a week.

-Returned after he helped WW stop someone from breaking into the orphanage. Both of them realized that their powers could be blessings. Thus, they became a crime-fighting duo.

-After a series of chance encounters, they’re now part of a team.

-Livio is very self-conscious about his cyborg nature, well-aware that out of everyone, the public finds him to be the most intimidating. Luckily, any tabloids who try to slander him mysteriously find themselves socially & financially ruined overnight.

-He’s aware of Vashwood & MillyMeryl. He has front row seats to 2 live slow-burn romances & a betting pool with Razlo on who’ll confess first.

Vash Saverem aka Stampede, The Rebel Angel Humanoid Typhoon

-He & Nai were raised by Rem, a pacifist priestess that worshipped angels called Plants.

-Their blissful childhood was shattered the day they discovered the remains of their older sister, Tesla, the Plant that came to the temple before them as a blessing only for the priests to treat her with less dignity than a sacrifice.

-Nai slaughtered the entire order, including Rem, in a fit of rage & fear. He established a new cult solely devoted to him & Vash. Overtime, his possessiveness & wrath became uncontrollable.

-While attempting to smuggle a group of innocent human sacrifices, Vash got into a fight with Nai that resulted in the loss of his arm.

-It was the final straw, he fled to Earth.

-Briefly, he was taken under the wing of Luida & Brad, the last two survivors of the original temple, who taught him human culture and how to regulate his emotions to have better control over his powers.

-An encounter with a group of heroes & an offer to join their new team had to be a sign. This was it, his chance to atone for his twin’s sins.

-Tries to be the best hero & the bestest ally possible (so the prophecy never comes true). It’s a bit ironic, he wields dark magic but his sunny attitude wouldn’t be out of place in a kids’ fairy cartoon.

-Deeply admires everyone’s kindness, especially WW’s but is terrified of loving him because of his true nature.

-Aside from dark matter-esque energy, his powers sometimes materialize in the form of his Tristamp branches & flowers. Has Plant markings but also Trimax’s biblical feathers & wings.

I love to hear your thoughts on W2 and W5. Also I love your Earth 3 fics. They’re so beautifully dark while still keeping the core characteristics of Dick and Tim. They have such a gothic romance vibe to it which I love. Gethsemane in Winter is definitely one of my top 3 fics from you.

W2. Tell me about a fic you hope to post in 2025.

Optimally I'd like to start posting parts of the dicktim slowburn that I've been working on, but I'm a bit hesitant since it's pretty far from finished. But! The fic is pretty much a slowburn longfic spanning from A Lonely Place of Dying to my own take on what might happen post-RR #12 (the one where Tim gets kicked through a window). The fic mostly follows the general shape of canon, but I also reinterpret scenes from cannon and add some of my own in. The structure of the story is mildly non-linear, with a consistent present day scene used as a framing device that splits up separate arcs of flashback chapters. Since I really enjoy writing obsessive, codependent DickTim, the focus is on how a lot of trauma bonding led to these two having the very close relationship seen in canon, but I take it a bit farther since they're so extra about each other that I wanted to explore how the relationship might have tripped into more of a pre-dicktim focus in the flashbacks and a more romantic/sexual relationship in the present. Once they resolve their arguments about the RR conflict, of course.

W5. Tell me about a trope you’ve never written but want to try in 2025. I've always enjoyed the AU where someone is accidentally transformed into an animal and the other person has to take care of them. My beta reader and I brainstormed a version of that in which Dick is turned into a fluffy cat :3, so I might write that one out in fic form If not that, wingfic is fun and I haven't gotten a chance to write it yet :D Also, thank you so much!! When I first started in this fandom, there wasn't much Earth-3 dicktim content that had the vibe I was looking for, so I set out to write something I'd want to read. I'm really happy whenever other people also enjoy where it ended up! Also gothic romance vibe my beloved >:3 Gethsemane in Winter was so fun to write - I'm really glad you enjoy it!! I also really appreciate you letting me know that you enjoyed it! It means a lot to me <3 <3 <3 I never quite finished it, but I ended up writing a noir murder mystery style prequel to the series from the perspective of Detective Edward Nygma. He teams up with FBI agent Slade Wilson to track down the man only known as "Shrike," who is suspected to be behind a series of murders in which people had been left impaled on various spike-like objects. (Aka Dick's origin story in this verse. Tim also makes a couple of appearances since I'm basing some parts of this on A Lonely Place of Dying)

I'm starting with the simplest one lalallala. last ride. also known as just remember this is your last ride . also known as lr . also known as the result of my obsession with infections

the main premise of this one is basically "What if Subspace fucked up really badly one day with his experiments and started the apocalypse". i would like to also state I SUCK at coherent thoughts so this is all just thought mumbo jumbo

most of the actual story would follow vine staff shuri and boombox with swapping perspectives to the church of the true eye or whatever that thang was called (havent touched phighting in a LOOONG while)

slingshot was also part of this but he never makes it to crossroad and winds up infected

which. speaking of; the actual infection started after subspace sought out something to rid himself of his rotting bones, in the form of some sorts of strengthening serum. and as we all expect it goes terribly wrong (mostly due to lacking experience in the field, which I hc is why he has the rot. fucked up waay earlier with messing around lmao) and winds up causing supernatural strength at the cost of constant hunger

because I am a nerd I will go on to explain some anatomy headcanons. I like to think that demons(inphernals? whatever they're called now) do not require nutrition to grow for some odd reason. they very very rarely have to eat . HOWEVER; the infection/disease requires a lot of extra substance that they cannot produce naturally on their own, thus triggering hunger previously unknown to the species (p.s it also makes younger demons grow up WAY faster!)

anywho. subspace fucks around and finds out with trying this on biografts, and the thing, naturally being a machine made of artificial flesh and created as a war machine, winds up breaking out after being given way more strength than it ever had. Disaster ensues, blackrock goes into lockdown, blah blah blah

I haven't cooked up much beyond this part tbh but in case you're curious, subspace's a centipede, medkit's a wolf spider, boombox's a canary (something something hc something), vine staff is a dove iirc? or a honey bee? shuriken's a shrike, slingshot's a leopard, traffic's a lemur, i think ghosdeeri was some sorts of firefly? iirc???? sword was a... crow

very foggy memories on this au this is all very very old. also the infection makes demons basically return to their animal instincts

also theres some extra subspace-medkit stuff in here about blackrock exploiting both of them and being a shit place to work in for both of them, and some stuff about subspace dying later on after getting infected and medkit being involved and yada yada I'm yapping so hard

Power House AU: I've absolutely loved all the additions and directions people took this post where Danny is captured by the Justice League and I wanted to share my general thoughts on where it would go after that but I'm also lazy so it's just this since I'm tired and don't want to draw.

The JL attempts to interrogate him but fails as Phantom is unresponsive for the majority of the time.

They struggle trying to identify exactly why he isn't responsive considering he has either fully ran from members or quickly attempt to fight them if they try to interact with him.

Somehow, someway, when they're moving Phantom to a new location in the Watch Tower to get a medical check since they're getting worried that after a few days, he's remained the same.

Phantom proceeds to freak the fuck out in the nicest of terms when he's taken to their medical wing and manages to slip out from whoever was taking him.

He's in full panic mode now and he NEEDS to get out even with the suppression cuffs on him so he's dashing blindly in the watch tower.

He manages to make way to the Zeta tubes and somehow manages to make them function and he's teleported away (not Danny's intention, he was just running and it went off at the worst time.)

He doesn't know where he's at on Earth but he's immediately running either way to get away.

Certain members of the League Zeta'd right behind him and are now looking for him.

Danny gets the suppression cuffs and collar and transform right before they can catch him.

They let him leave as they're informed by Batman that they have enough information on him that with a lot of leg work, they may be able to find who he really is since they have now both seen his human and "meta" side of him. Batman does reveal that due to something with biology, they won't be able to find any DNA matches and much of the video recordings of him are difficult to make out even if they're from the Watch Tower.

Danny escapes back to Central City and tries his best to return to a normal college life. He's slightly upset since they managed to pull him away, leaving him little time to study for an upcoming exam.

A few more weeks pass and Batman with the help of Flash manage to find out who Phantom is. A young college student in Central City and is funnily enough working at S.T.A.R. Labs as an intern. Bright future ahead and seems like no one who would have a potential in being a hero/vigilante but digging enough into his past they believe that if anything, it seems like another case of how the Flash came to be except a whole different set of powers.

They decide the best way to get Phantom is to corner him as a civilian in public.

Bart Allen, Hal Jordan, and J'onn J'onzz go as a group of civilians to intervene with Danny as he's leaving one of his campuses buildings.

They make themselves known to Danny and that it would be a mighty bad time to try to fight back or get away as they're all so exposed in public (not really, they're talking alone between some buildings). They make it known that they only want to ask questions and they have concerns about whatever is going on with him (being Phantom, his rogues, fighting the League, clearly fighting alone, etc.)

Danny decides the risk is worth it and tries to make a run for it before even speaking a word to them. Clearly doesn't work out as they expect him to either run or fight them. Barry manages to get to him and place suppression cuffs and collar back on him fairly easily before Danny could transform thanks to super speed.

They're not happy clearly with Danny still not cooperating but it's expected. The three inform Danny that he is now being held by the League until they can determine the best next step.

For the first time, Danny speaks to them and says "You can't do that! Finals are in two weeks! What the fuck am I suppose to do that? It's literally my second final semester!"

It doesn't work and Danny finds himself taken back to the Watch Tower to be once again interrogated. It's back to square one with Danny/Phantom. He isn't responding to any of their questions but this time rather out of a sense of protection of his self and mind, it's out of pure spite. They're making him miss his finals, of course he's going to give them nothing in return.

The most they're able to get out of him at one point is that why should he trust them? Why should he trust heroes who only care about themselves and their image? Even if he's young and inexperienced, he does his job and does it quick and they need to leave him alone.

It's implied he doesn't trust the older heroes in any regard and this is true, they only want to learn how he got his powers, where his rouges are from, and why he fought and ran from the League. Nothing else, nothing more.

Danny/Phantom doesn't trust the League in any regard so why should he even attempt to cooperate?

And that's all I have :)

Bruce having to mature in order to be a parent. And NOT having Dick Grayson as a ward. At least not now. Bruce adapting to the idea of having his own family. And looking after him better so he doesn't get a chance to run without pants on the Gotham streets.
