when i was a kid (autism) i was confused by the term "objectification" because i saw objects as equals. i didn't understand why it was a bad thing to see/treat humans as objects.

now of course, I'm objectum and posic, so i just saw object as having feelings. which is funny in retrospect because i see objects and people as equals still, but in the sense that i kiss my space heater goodnight, thank my computer when she finishes a difficult task, and ask my fridge what's wrong when it makes an odd sound.

Hey, I got a question. So I'm objectum but I'm not sure if I'm POSIC or not. I'm able to identify personalities in inanimate objects but I'm unable to communicate with them. Or at least in the same way I communicate with other humans. I'm pretty new to this objectum stuff so I don't have an object partner/companion yet. I feel love towards inanimate objects but sometimes it feels one sided. So even if I'm not POSIC, do you have any advice for experiencing love with objects?

For your first question, I would say you would be allowed to consider yourself POSIC+ if you want. POSIC+ is a broad label, and experiencing objects as having personality would count. However, don’t feel pressured to identify as POSIC+. As for experiencing love towards objects that doesn’t feel one-sided, I can’t really help. I am POSIC+ to a degree that is considered abnormal even within the POSIC+ community. Objects are just as alive as humans to me, and interact with me just as much. I would seek out members of the non-POSIC+ objectum community, sometimes also referred to as the objectix community, and ask questions there. I’m going to tag those communities in this post. Anyone else, even POSIC+ objectums, can help.

euhhh sometimes i feel like a Fake Objectum bc im not POSIC and most of my attraction to objects is conceptual so i dont have many object partners and i dont really feel it very strongly most of the time. so i dont relate to a lot of objectum peoples experiences so it feels like im faking sometimes ::-/

so like I JUST NOW a few minutes ago found out about 'posic' and 'objectum'

from what little I've seen so far, it's well, odd, but harmless its something I think we all experienced as kids but also deeper and sense no laws or morals are being broken, (and sense I believed all things, even object, where sentient in some way up until I was in my late teens) I guess ya'll are alright. :)

edit: AND ALSO if showing (and feeling) love and respect towards (and from) objects AND the planet keeps more people from contributing to pollution I'm extra supportive of that-
