dream: "ink is another one of my close friends. she's been there for me when even nightmare couldn't, and i've supported her likewise. sometimes her head is in the clouds, so i send her texts to remind her of things like homework and such. maybe she forgets lunch sometimes, so swap and i give her a share of ours. and when ink wants to talk about anything she's thinking of, whether it's a painter's use of color or the reason we exist, i'm always open to listening. she's an amazing person, really."

nightmare: "ink. ah, that girl is an enigma, truly. somedays she supports me on my path to world domination, and other days she just laughs at me and says as if it were a fact that i would never achieve it! ugh... but despite my slight grievances, she's dream's friend, and i've grown fond of her. quite often, without me even requesting, she gifts me paintings. now, they may seem normal at first, but recently i've discovered a pattern with them. as if ink had peered into the mind of god and depicted it visually, the paintings assist me in handling dream appropriately. i must say, she's skilled as well..."

killer: "see now ink? she's my type of gal. we get along pretty well, hehe! we're on the same wavelength or something, i dunno. not like she can predict what i do, but i wouldn't be surprised if she could, but ink and i just click. we talk about all sorts of silly stuff; similar sense of humor, after all. ink and i can yap about different shows and movies we've watched and stuff, she gives really good insight on the more technical stuff like color psychology and framing, and she once drew me art for one of my big follower milestones on twitter! she's suuuuper cool, haha!"

dust: "okay, just... keep this between me and you, but i think ink has some sort of secret sixth sense? i dunno. nothing against her, she's a fun person. just that, uh... sometimes she just comes up to me when i least expect it and starts asking me about my progress on my writing. which is... confusing. i've only ever told killer and horror about my writing, so i don't know how she knows...?"

horror: "y'know, dust and i have a bit of a bet going on. all jokes and all, but i've got a feeling ink's pulling some sort of elaborate spying prank with how much she knows about us... dust doesn't think so. but i'm betting 20 bucks she does. like, once i was at a vending machine and the stupid thing didn't give me my goddamn candy bar, ugh. i had to stay cool. but then ink just pops out of nowhere, says its okay for me to drop the act and get mad around her, and then does some sort of vending machine trick to get the candy?? yeah, she's definitely a wizard or something. in a nice way, i guess."

dream: "ah, swap! she's one of my dearest friends, i truly care for her deeply. out of sheer coincidence it seems, that she, ink, and i were chosen to be the star students of the school, but surprisingly it works out well... swap's truly a delight. she's a great motivator, and she's saved me from a few situations that would've ended up terribly had she not been there, hehe."

nightmare: "sometimes the world hates me. ah- well, what i meant was, the path of fate has me set on a predetermined path of struggle! and yet, when even i, the queen of negativity, could not stop my kin from slipping on a ridiculously placed banana peel and almost breaking her neck, swap was her knight in shining armor and caught her. needless to say, just as fate despises my bloodline, fate also has angels sent down from heaven. i do suppose swap is one of those, bless her soul."

killer: "heh, swap?? that girl's a riot! couple years ago i tried convincing her to show me some of those sick moves she learned at kickboxing, or karate, taekwondo, whatever... she broke my wrist, haha! but then i pulled a knife on her and then we both got in trouble. hah, good times, good times. no, i didn't stab her?! in fact, she's very good friends with mr. mew and the grumpen, thank you very much! a friend of my kitties is a friend of mine!"

dust: "she's nice. her type of energy is something you only see is like... a sugar-rushed ink, and killer normally. but anyways, swap's a good help around the school. she's a bit ridiculous every now and then with all her "the magnificent swap" and how she's a bit of a showoff, but whatever. aren't we all? anyways, at least the scavenger hunts she makes during school dances are fun."

horror: "swap is uh... she's something. gotta admit, she's pretty normal compared to some of the people at this school. but man... enthusiasm, much? eh, whatever. i'm not the type to complain when her burritos are to die for. we're partners in cooking class... let's just say, she carries us hard."

He unlocked the door and went inside. “Eddie?” He called, closing the door behind him.

Eddie walked out of the kitchen with a curious look on his face. “Buck? What are you doing here, I thought you had to get back home.”

“We need to talk,” Buck said, herding Eddie to the couch and pointing for him to take a seat. Eddie wordlessly followed direction even though he looked at Buck with a raised brow.

“What’s up?” Eddie asked hesitantly.

“What did I say last night?” Buck blurted out. Dammit, he had wanted to be a little smoother about that. “I know I said something, because you’re being weird.”

“How am I being weird? I think I’m acting quite normal, thanks,” Eddie snarked, sighing when Buck just looked at him exasperated. “Okay, so maybe you did say something. But we don’t have to talk about it, Buck. You were drunk. No, you were wasted. Maybe some things are best left unknown.”

“No, I don’t accept that,” Buck shook his head. He started to pace in front of the couch, just like Eddie had done that night when he had his little outburst over HILDY. Finally he stopped and crossed his arms, staring Eddie down. “I said something that upset you and I need to know what it was.”

“Why do you think I’m upset, Buck? Do I look upset?” Eddie asked, holding his hands up in surrender. “Just because you said something doesn’t mean I’m upset.”

“Yes, it does! Because you’re not being…you!” Buck exclaimed, gesturing wildly. “Now stop talking in circles and tell me what I said!”

“You said you loved me!” Eddie finally shouted, standing up.

“Do you want to stay for dinner, Carla? We have more than enough,” Eddie said, taking Buck out of his thoughts. He realized he was just standing in the entryway still so he kicked off his shoes and put them with his duffle. Walking further into the house he waited for Carla’a reply.

“No thanks, honey. I have to get home,” Carla smiled, giving Eddie a small hug before hugging Chris and going to grab her things. Coming up beside Buck she asked, “Hey, are you alright? You look rough.”

“Very long day,” Buck replied, giving her an exhausted smile.

Carla made a sympathetic face and gave him a big hug. They waved her out the door and then Christopher said, “Are we going to eat in the kitchen or in front of the TV?”

“It’s up to Buck,” Eddie said, making Buck glance up in surprise.

“Me? Why?”

“Your bad day, you choose what we do,” Eddie shrugged, grabbing some plates while they talked. “You can choose the movie too.”

“Let’s eat in the kitchen, easier to clean up,” Buck decided, feeling warmth in his chest at Eddie letting him make this decision. It seemed like a small thing but Eddie was allowing him to make a little decision for the family. It meant something. To him at least.

“Good plan,” Eddie replied, setting the table before grabbing the pizza and serving it up. He gave Chris the slices that had the most pepperoni, just like he liked it and Buck the ones with the most cheese. He knew his boys.

“Thanks, Eds,” Buck mumbled, and Eddie knew that he wasn’t just thanking him for the pizza.

“You’re welcome,” Eddie replied, giving him a small smile.

They sat down to eat, Christopher animatedly telling them about his day in between bites of pizza. Eddie sat back and let Buck engage with Chris, watching the easy way Buck encouraged him to keep talking, asking all the right questions. Eddie loved it. Eventually they were done eating and Eddie washed up the few dishes they used while Buck dried, and then the three of them settled on the couch, ready to look for a movie.

“Here,” Buck said, handing Chris the remote. “You can choose the movie, bud.”

I do not think there’d be EddieTmmy lovers the way there is for BT, just my thoughts when I thought about it for a while but I think the racism would play out differently: “Eddie as horrible for not seeing poor baby uwu Buck” vs “ew racist Tmmy Eddie get better standards Bucks right there” type of vibes, I think they’d still be shitting on Eddie in defence of Buck and making Buck out to a poor pure baby who is too good for Eddie anyway

u are actually so right and u should say it louder. the amount of hate towards eddie is ever increasing, and in general there is nothing the narrative can do to make people stop hating on him, just like how there is almost nothing that it can do for people to stop the "buck can do no wrong" perspective. there is no right way to move, because every direction leads back to eddie hate. its unwinnable and this should be studied more i fear.

thinking about giant/tiny modeling. tiny models advertising a product by sitting on/in it directly. nothing like seeing a billboard for a box of chocolates with an actual, tiny person curled up next to the sweets. tiny models that sit in teacups, on plates, next to a watch or a pencil or literally any common, household object. tiny models with a lavish dressing room they can't even get around in, because the vip room happens to be 20x their size.

tiny models that may only be the size of your finger, but still effortlessly command your attention when you see them across the room. with the way they act, not even squirming as a dozen agents and journalists loom over them, they're obviously used to the attention. you can't tell if they're only used to it because they expect it, at their size. they're such a cute, pretty little thing. how could you not adore them?

on the flipside, the way a giant model commands your attention is an absolutely breathtaking experience. every distant movement is like watching a living natural disaster. they're so gentle with the scenery around them, but you get the feeling they treat it more as beloved play set. giant models that lean next to buildings, blocking off multiple streets just for a single, quick shoot. giant models hunched a team of makeup artists readying them for the camera. leaning down for a dozen ladders, even holding a stylists in their hands. giant models that don't even fit in the frame. you'll see their lips, their eyes, the whorl of their fingertips in magazines, far sooner than you'll see their entire body.

giant models that make you freeze, instinctually, when they meet your gaze from across a warehouse. you can't help but cautiously wave to them. the slight chuckle from massive, painted lips rumbles through your chest, even across the distance between you. butterflies squirm in your stomach when they wink at you, a movement practically broadcast to the entire room. with the way they look like a fallen angel, and the fact that every second only reminds you how massive they are, you know you're faced with something far, far more dangerous than a simple hurricane.

it does makes sense why forsy was missing from the pic lundy posted on his stories (not that particularly means much considering ekky aj driedges spence adam jesper swaggy gadjo and kuli are missing) but in the sense that all the boys in the pic have their robes on or have them bundled in their laps sans lundy who takes tourguide duties very seriously! but even then forsy couldn't help but join in because he has them on as an extra layer during lunchtime so the cold mustve gotten to him somehow but to know even then he didn't go into the sauna with it... mmm... your restraint is admirable...

so really knowing all this the timeline gets so funny because this idea has been bouncing around probably since bzito gave them the robes in helsinki (whether that was when they landed oct 29 or the day after oct 30 when lundy played tourguide for them) and maffhew mustve quipped "man it would be so funny if we walked in with em huh?" to sasha and promptly forgot about it because he yaps unconsciously and anything out of his mouth comes out in a fugue state and also in a very "i say shit and i dont really expect to be taken seriously" kind of way, sasha made a personal note of it in the maffhew index he keeps in his head, told the team in a very sasha esque way aka "don't dirty robes too much we're gonna wear them for the game :]" and no one took him particularly seriously because its sasha he always jokes like this haha hes not really gonna- (reminds them day of probably via text) and go oh well i guess its a prank but i'll still wear them because it's sasha (shrugs) i don't mind being the butt of the joke if it's for sasha to which they're delightfully surprised when everyone shows up in robes and it slowly starts to dawn on them none of it was a joke at all

sans forsy who takes everything his captain says very seriously and diligently follows his every word and saved the sanctity of the robes for gameday merely because sasha told him to... which could mean nothing... of course...

Oh, finally, that proshipper blocked me. I was scared of doin it myself since they got so attached, and I thought they might do somethin stupid if I up and blocked them myself. Like harassin me with a billion accounts or somethin. I'm glad they did it for me though cuz pretendin to be nice and dealin with their bullshit was exhaustin. Like buddy, we are NOT friends, especially not after you drew Jack Kennedy and his brother gettin freaky and sexualized Harry gettin raped in your little AU. I'm pretty sure they also wrote a rape fic and all. There's a doc about all the things they've done just refer to that.
