Is it wrong to keep Sonic away from vanilla? and console him for what he just saw?
Not wrong at all actually!
Vanilla escapes after being caught by Sonic and the couple of villagers from the town nearby who he was leading to Chuck’s workshop cuz they wanted to see him and she very quickly becomes a wanted criminal
But although Sonic does receive some comforting words and condolences for his loss from the villagers that knew Chuck and him it’s abruptly cut short after two days because the head of the emerald city council arrives to take Sonic and especially Tails to the emerald city. From there every word of comfort the two kids received was fake, pitying and/or a performative way to make themselves look better
Tails and Sonic could only take comfort in each other

I want to buy a sticker from your shop, but shipping (to Canada) is down as $22 before tax. May I ask why it costs so much to ship a single sticker? Is it Etsy being weird, or does it really cost that much to send an envelope over the border?
I'm not trying to be snarky or passive aggressive or anything, I'm genuinely just kind of befuddled atm.
A fair question honestly! USPS sets the rates for international shipping, and shipping to canada really is about that expensive 😭 I considered sending stickers via envelopes, but 1. if I send them with a stamp (less than $2) they don't have tracking, and etsy Does Not Like That. I gotta send packages with shipping to qualify for star seller, plus it covers your ass in case USPS loses it. and 2. apparently it's illegal to send merchandise internationally in envelopes!! so sadly we're all stuck dealing with the super crazy international rates. I don't like it either because as someone who deals in trinkets, people generally do not want to pay $16 for a charm that costs $12, and they especially don't want to pay that for a sticker that costs $4... I would ABSOLUTELY have way more international sales if USPS wasn't fucking us with the prices but it's out of my control dssdjkfjksdf
I give this advice a lot, but if you don't want to pay international shipping (or just live in a country I don't ship to myself), you can borrow the address of a friend that lives in the states and they can forward it to you! I don't actually know if this is cheaper, but some people have said it is. it's def cheaper for stickers though if your friend uses a stamp!
TL;DR yeah etsy and USPS are Both Weird, sorry ; - ; i assure you i hate it even More than you do lmao

Went to Comic-Con yesterday and aside from many other things I got myself a little miku :>
Do I know anything about the miku lore? No. Have I listened to more than ten of her songs? Also no. Does that make me a fake fan? Yea probably. However. I just think she is neat :>

I have been wrestling with this for years and finally decided to throw it out into the stars.
Thank you Todrick Hall for a song that has followed me almost a decade.

I think it would be best to be careful about how we read into the show's symbolism, because saying "The soulless creatures that are drawn to negativity and have no will of their own except to destroy society are clearly meant to be a stand-in for minorities" is an EXTREMELY loaded statement that carries implications I don't think you've thought through.
it sure is a loaded statement ! good thing it's not what i said.
grimm--specifically the cultural perception thereof, i.e. that they are evil soulless monsters with no purpose other than to destroy (<- which is itself strongly implied to not be true)--are used quite explicitly as a metaphor for the persecution of faunus by humans.
because a core pillar of anti-faunus bigotry--this is stated explicitly in the text in multiple contexts by multiple characters--is that humans treat faunus like monsters. it is strongly implied that this vector of anti-faunus bigotry specifically takes the form of a cultural perception that faunus are sort of "in between" humans and grimm, or in some other sense "adjacent" to grimm.
if we take into account "the judgment of faunus" this cultural perception becomes exceptionally clear: the faunus in the story are blamed by the humans for "leading" the grimm to attack the human settlement, even though what actually happened is the grimm attacked the faunus and the faunus fled to seek the relative safety of the settlement.
the symbolic role of the grimm in this configuration is twofold: they represent 1. the dehumanization of the faunus and 2. the violent persecution suffered by faunus because of that dehumanization. humans blame faunus for the violence of the grimm and faunus are therefore cast out to fend for themselves against the predation of grimm; the grimm aren't stand-ins for minorities, they are bigotry manifest.
and that's the Whole Point of the white fang wearing grimm masks: "humanity wanted to make monsters out of us, so we chose to don the faces of monsters." humans treat faunus like grimm-lite, faunus reclaim that as a weapon against their oppressors. it's why the blake faunus reveal starts with blake screaming "there's no such thing as pure evil!" and ends with her staring at, identifying herself with, the grimm in the statue instead of the huntsmen while she reveals her non-human features.
like this isn't even symbolism really it's worldbuilding--this is, overtly, a stereotype that exists in-universe, that faunus are grimm-adjacent, and the symbolic role of the grimm-as-violent-persecution follows from that naturally as the faunus characters grapple with it (most overtly in 2-3, but it's an undercurrent in adam and sienna's disagreement in 5 as well.)
