More @codywanfirstkissbingo because I'm reading through this one and enjoying it. Nearly there! Just another couple of weeks before I can post the complete stories! Something lighter after the angst of earlier, a no Order 66 au where everything is peaceful.

Cody sighs. “I think I’m just going to focus on my work for a bit, I’ve got enough going on helping Fox with the committees and dealing with the Defense Force.” “And your dates with Kenobi,” Rex adds. “They aren’t dates,” Cody rolls his eyes. “Not like that.” “You meet him for lunch every week that you’re both on Coruscant,” Rex replies. “You deliberately schedule your meetings so that you can make it. They’re dates.” “I can’t keep in touch with my former general?” Cody asks. “We lived in each other’s pockets for three years, it would be weird not to touch base with him.” Actually it had taken months for Cody to get used to not eating with some combination of Kenobi and his vod’e. Even two years down the line there were those who struggled to function without one or more of their vod’e around them.

Alderaan, 4.25 p.m, sometime after the war has ended

Breha: Oh, Fox is back from his trip to Kamino, let's go meet up with him at the docks!

Bail: Welcome back home, love, how was the-

Fox: Yes?

Bail & Breha:

Fox: Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you beforehand, I am so sorry. It all happened so suddenly

Breha: Oh, we don't mind, we just didn't know that they were releasing any of the cadets from Kamino yet

Fox: They aren't

Bail: ...did you ask if you could take him?

Fox: No, because they would've said no. No one will know, though, because what are they going to do? A DNA-test? I'm his dad, of course he has the same DNA as I do.

Everyone lives au where after the war Commander Fox gets arrested for killing Chancellor Palpatine, who never did anything wrong in his life, ever. Fox pleads guilty and requests execution.

Unfortunately for him, the entire Coruscant Guard has been planing for this (along with other possible scenarios) for years. They’ve put together a legal team of clones who got online degrees in law, whose main defense is that government property can’t be convicted of murder. The Republic’s reps claim that Fox is a person and therefore absolutely can do murder, so they whip out a dictionary and read the definition for slavery.

The trial gets derailed by all the accusations leveled at the government, which are all true. Mountains of evidence are brought in, literly. Several large filing cabinets are dragged into the room filled to the brim with tax statements, photos, documents, contracts ect exposing not only the deep corruption through the entire senate, but also provides enough information to jail at least half the senate.

It’s broadcast on live tv and is the most watched event in history.

Fox keeps trying to get the death sentence. He has no intention of actually dying tho (he plans to fake it and retire to run a crew of con artists and steal from the ultra wealthy.) Fox confesses to murdering multiple people, but each time evidence places him far away from the scene of the crime, usually because Fox himself planted that evidence and now his extreme competence is biting him in the ass.

The fact that Palpatine was a Sith Lord, was planing on taking over the republic, working with the separatists, and that he started the war are not brought up at all. All crimes brought up are things like grooming children or embezzlement.

Star Wars Order 66 au

Where the Kaminioans find out early that Palpatine is planning to eventually betray them. Before order 66 they secretly swap the codes for order 66 and order 65 around without Palpatine or anyone else knowing. So basically now order 66 demands the removal/execution of the Chancellor aka Palpatine, and order 65 is the execution of the Jedi.

So when Palpatine calls every single clone commander, commandos, bad batch, and the entire clone army to execute order 66. He is cracking up thinking that the clones are going to kill the jedi. Only to have an uno reverse card, and have the entire Republic army come after him instead.

Wow, I did not expect Boba/Din and Reva/Omega to be the ships that got me to post cringe ship art lol.

You can blame @skeletons-eat for the idea of Reva x Omega. They're the one to propose it, and I adopted it IMMEDIATELY. This whole ship concept and art is kinda inspired by their Reva Padawan AU, so go check them out!

This art dumb is obviously mostly about the two ships, but it's also kinda my take on the Reva Padawan AU. More of another 'order 66 didn't happen' AU.

But ANYWAYS-some tidbits on the art:

Page 1. Just Bobadin. I love this ship and their possible dynamics. And I especially love the opportunities of YOUNG bobadin, since in The Mandalorian they meet when both are late-middle age. Basically young Bobadin is a lot more feral and violent than canon age bobadin.

Page 2. THE RARE PARE THEMSELVES. I haven’t quite decided how I would imagine these two meet, but probably through some shenanigans where they both separately set out to do a mission (Omega against her brother’s wishes and Reva against her master’s). They end up tripping over each other and having to get out of the botched mission together, bonding along the way. 

Page 3.1. Just my headcanons for the four’s LGBTQ+ statues! Din is a trans man, panzexual and Demisexual. Boba is Bisexual. Reva is a trans woman and a lesbian. Omega is a lesbian.

Page 3.2. Did I take @skeletons_eat ‘s trans Reva headcacnon? Yes. Did I see someone headcanon Din as trans ONCE and accept it as fact? Yes. Would they bond over their shared experiences? Yes.

Page 4. Just Boba and Omega getting the chance to be siblings and harass each other (Okay mostly just Omega harassing Boba. She has experience with having brothers, so she knows how to be a menace). While Reva and Din bond over the shared knowledge that their gf and bf are dumbasses.

Page 5.1. Omega and Reva in their early relationship era. Where Omega is desperately rolling Charisma on Reva in an attempt at friendship/romance. But Reva is a little too steeped in her Jedi Culture-ness for it to have any effect (yet).

Page 5.2. Boba is very not impressed with his sister’s choice to date a JEDI. Omega thinks he doesn’t get to judge since he’s dating a Mandalorian from a ex-Death Watch covert and is (technically) part of House Vizsla

Page 6. Ayee it’s the parents of our four kids! None of them are exactly THRILLED at their children’s choice of partner, but they are grudgingly letting it slide. Though it doesn’t make the family get-togethers any less awkward.

What’s worse than tripping in front of your crush? Falling down a hole, dropping your saber, and getting stuck waiting for rescue in a temple you’ve already explored because you got distracted trying to show off is probably a good starting point.

One last @codywanfirstkissbingo snippet before posting starts on Saturday. I'd been struggling with this one and then I heard a song and here it is. Song linked at the end.

When the music changes it is sudden, abrupt, shifting from the thrumming pulse that would usually be found in 79’s to the gentle notes of a guitar. A cheer goes up and the crowd shifts, parting like a tide leaves the shore as a warm voice joins the guitar. Obi-Wan pushes forward, curious about which members of his company this is (or who they might have snuck into the barracks), only to reach the edge of the crowd to find Rex is the one with the guitar and Cody is the one singing. Others join in on the chorus, and it is a song that Obi-Wan knows well even if he is not certain that he has ever heard the original. Given the bottle that Cody has in his hand is most certainly not half full of water, Obi-Wan assumes that his soon-to-be-former commander is not exactly sober, but his voice is glorious. Actually, Obi-Wan could listen to it all day. “He’s good, isn’t he?” Boil asks, having apparently fought his way through the crowd independently of Obi-Wan. “Incredibly,” Obi-Wan replies, not looking away from Cody and how relaxed he looks. How happy. His eyes are closed, and he is swaying as he sings into the microphone, the first song ending and Rex starting another with only a brief glance in Obi-Wan’s direction and a mischievous grin. It is another familiar song, a love song at that, but Cody puts his all into it and Obi-Wan cannot help but sing along when the others join in.

It happens very quickly.

One moment Seventeen is sitting next to Fox, listening to him talk about the newest project he is doing and the newest legislation his husband is trying to get through in the Senate and the newest program his wife has established. The tubie (baby, he corrects himself, if he remembers to do so. Nat-borns prefer that term to be used. The word 'tubie' tends to make them uncomfortable) is sitting on Fox's lap, trying to chew on his fingers. Fox keeps tugging them out of the tubie's mouth every other second, and every time Seventeen pays attention to the tubie for longer than one second, he looks to be getting increasingly frustrated about it. Seventeen remembers vaguely Fox saying something about teething and bite marks.

Then the tubie starts to fuss, kicking his legs in the air like a bug that has fallen onto its back, and Fox tries to calm him down by hoisting him on his shoulder and patting him on his bottom. Seventeen is increasingly glad over the fact that all the boys were already way over this age when he had to start looking after them.

The tubie fusses more, and now starts to whine a little. At the same time, Fox's commlink starts to ring. Fox ignores it for a while, but then actually glances at it and grimaces.

"I have to take that one", he says, maneuvers the tubie (Even, Seventeen reminds himself. The tubie's name is Even) on his other shoulder and picks the commlink up, and at that point, the tubie starts to borderline cry.

Fox looks at the tubie, looks at the commlink, and then looks at Seventeen.

Seventeen tries to say no, but Fox is too quick, and plops the tubie on Seventeen's lap and very quickly steps away.

"Keep him entertained for a moment", Fox says, and then adds, like the little shit he is, "You survived all of us, you will survive him for three minutes."

He then, again, very quickly retreats to the next room over, leaving Seventeen and the tubie alone with each other. Seventeen is honestly not sure which one of them dislikes it more.

The tubie (baby and Even, Seventeen reminds himself again) seems to take personal offense in being left alone with Seventeen. Honestly, Seventeen can't blame him for it.

"Still", Seventeen says, out loud, and grabs Even under his tiny arms and turns him around so Seventeen can look him in the face, "your buir keeps telling me how much of an angel you are compared to Rex's pair of shebs. Where's that energy now?"

That...actually makes Even to stop all the crying and whining. He looks at Seventeen with his dark eyes wide open, and then grins and makes some sort of gurgling sound, that Seventeen thinks might be a laugh of some sort.

Then he reaches his hands up and stuffs them both into his mouth.

"Do not", Seventeen says, trying his best to get a better grip on the little body in his hands so he can get them out. He doesn't have to do so, in the end, because as soon as he begins to move, Even pulls his hands out of his mouth by himself, and proceeds to slap them both right on Seventeen's face.

They are very wet and there is definitely a trail of spit coming from Even's mouth to his hands. Seventeen makes a face at it. Even makes the gurgling attempt of laugh again and proceeds to slap Seventeen for the second time.

"Okay", Seventeen grunts, pushing his arms out so he can keep the tubie away from his face. "You are definitely your buir's kid."

He gets more gurgling and flying spit as an answer.
