finally completed a request from viktor and got access to his lab and the slimeulation~~

idk which of the mini-games I'm best at especially cause I'm doing them all very slowly.

Ogdun's I tried and panicked cause the feral slimes everywhere

Mochi's is fun and I get lost trying to find the teleporter back....

viktor's is also fun sort of except when the tarr show up~~~ is the exit point that opens the one closest to you?

I'm doing them slowly and usually unfortunately get around 20 usually of what was asked....

I tried Ogdun's and only got 1 fruit~~~

I don't want to cause it would hurt the slimes, but they're fereal there so it doesn't matter, does it? creating tarr on purpose just to hopefully make it easier?

I panic in the wilds so easily...

also had mossaic plorts be 120 but going down so I bulk sold them... and can now hold 100 of an item~~~

idk if I should go for the final ranks of the 7Zee club thing, tho if I do I need to wait for prices to go back up cause I'm sure they've tanked cause I saw the arrow going down on my most expensive plorts and tanked the market~~~

I hope those prices will raise that high again soon~~~

Or go for treasure pods?

what would it get me to sell all of the saber plorts I have? Is sticking them into the refinery worth it? or is it useless for them?

I've got 3 full silo slots of saber plorts~~

I don't find an ornament this entire game and my sibling starts slime rancher also on switch and they find 2 from a box T_T;;

how do you find more ornaments?

which area should I scour for treasure pods first? I haven't actively been looking just coming upon ones that I couldn't open~~~

do you lose everything if you fall into the slime sea? really tempted to vacpack up as many chickens as I can and jump in. free ranging chickens on the ranch is a bad idea, don't do it. game is very laggy... what do......

all my silos are going towards plorts~~~

how do you shoot fire slimes into the incinerator's ash trough without them bouncing out? I had 4 and now I only have 2... rip fire slimes T_T;;

My disability-adjacent hot take is that subtitles alone aren't really enough. I have trouble differentiating where sound comes from, for instance, so it's wildly helpful to have clarification on where sound is supposed to be coming from (right versus left, ect).

On a related note, if your subtitles are not clear, accurate, or translated in the case of foreign language, your subtitles aren't good. I don't want to read a paraphrased, censored version of what people are saying. I want to know exactly what they're saying because omitting even one word can dramatically change the tone, implication, and the entire meaning of what is said.

#disability #subtilties #like i love that minecraft had (has?) the feature where it points out where sounds are coming from and what is making those sounds #though i don't think i have access to that on my version which SUCKS #(clarification that i play on the nintendo switch because my laptop probably cannot handle minecraft)#(actually it probably could but i don't feel the need to have the PC version)#(maybe one day)#ANYWAY. i think that's an accessibility feature that's sorely lacking and lacking in terms of depth and accuracy #like i love watching breaking bad but the subtitles are TERRIBLE and i hate how censored they are...#...it's like they captioned it like a youtuber would to avoid demonitization (which is also annoying and almost insulting sometimes)...#...like sometimes it comes across as infantilizing for captioners to REFUSE to write the 'fuck' word or 'shit' or ANYthing that's ~raunchy~#especially when you pay for the service/product!!! i HATE it so so so SO much

#THIS IS A JOKE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS #do not get mad at me #but fr fr i did not get the hype #the water temple was like. middle difficulty i think #i DID get stuck twice but #first one i was standing in the wrong place so my zelda's lullaby wasn't registering (which is just a bug)#and second i was a bit dumb dumb and completely forgot abt one of the suspicious bombing spots so i had to backtrack #but overall? fire temple and forest temple were harder i think #oh and i'm playing the og n64 version via nintendo switch online if that matters #rambles #loz #oot

Pretty freaking fantastic!

#There was also the Mistery game by team Danganronpa #and Pikmin 4 #(I still have to play 3...)#Game boy alongside Wario Land & Superstar Saga would have been amazing announcements if it wasn't for the expansion pack #Metroid Prime was cool‚ but I think I will stick to the Wii version #and I'll be honest #I didn't care that much for Zelda TotK #But those three reveals were amazing #Not fully sold on Layton yet #since Azaran Legacy was kind of a let down & Mystery journey was straight up bad #But optimistic non the less #wonder who will dub the professor on Spanish since his voice actor passed away on 2020 due to Covid #R.I.P Jordi Varela #Katamari is one I was expecting to see after the remake of the first one so really nice that it's here #And I was not expecting Ghost Trick to make a come back #Now all that's missing is some Hotel Dusk remake to have the full set of DS detectives on switch #Nintendo Direct #Professor Layton #Professor Layton and the new world of steam #We love katamari #ghost trick phantom detective

anything I should do before looking for the H vaults?

found 3 treasure pods in the Glass Desert; the bad thing is when I was exploring the area without the tier 3 treasure cracker that I came across more than that~~

I don't want to use a guide and find them for myself but I wonder how obscure places they're in....

also idk what my luck is but while trying to get out I found 2 more gilded ginger without even actually looking~~~~

so now I have 4 gilded ginger in a silo~~~~

thought of one thing I can do~~~ go into the glass desert and just try to find gilded ginger intentionally~~~ I already have 4 why stop there?

Is the slimeulation differences vs reality in the SR world easy to tell? Am visually impaired and have my doubts about whether I can tell the difference between reality or the simulation or not....

viktor finally asked for something easy to get so now I have access to the slimeulation~~~~

all mini-games unlocked I think~~~~ now to beat them~~~ I'm furthest in mochi's

speaking of mochi, I wonder how hard the second course is~~~ I''m assuming that's where the other teleporter takes you. how difficult is it?

speaking of teleporters it kind of sucks that things placed in pairs, once linked, are automatically destroyed and need to be crafted again.

also I guess be careful of that with warp depots I think cause one placed can still work as a silo, but them linked, and you demolish it I think you lose all the items inside. so the wiki said...

thinking of I should really put a teleporter inside the glass desert instead of right on the outside~~~

and make a dedicated warp spot on my ranch somewhere~~ maybe the lab? cause I'll be using those warps for resource grinding with pumps and drills~~~ and echo nets in the ruins when I find it~~~

The reason why some in the Devil May Cry fandom refer to the Switch ports as a travesty is because the dips in frames on handheld and the input lag (I'm assuming if docked and are using a Bluetooth controller) is a few frames then playing Devil May Cry, especially the third entry as how it's meant to be played i.e, like a fighting game, is very very bad when you're comboing till kingdom come and that's how it's meant to be played.

One of my favorite things about the Mario movie Bowuigi scene is the small possibility of someone recreating that said scene, but change it to where Luigi is interrogating Bowser.

#so just to clarify on this roleswap au idea: the only thing that would change is their roles #i.e. Mario and Luigi would be kings of the MK & Dark Lands while Peach and Bowser are plumbers (or something similar) in the real world #now their personalities on the other hand that would stay the same #e.g. King Luigi tries to question Bowser but he's a nervous wreak throughout the entire interrogation #you technically could switch both their roles and their personalities if you really wanted to #but the issue I'm kind of seeing with that is that there wouldn't be much point of a roleswap au at that point #e.g. if you have a roleswap au where Mario and Bowser switched both their roles and their personalities #then at that point I feel like Mario is just a redesigned version of Bowser (and vice versa with Bowser being a redesigned Mario)#does that make sense?#I should mention that I don't hate roleswap aus where both the roles and personalties are swap (I really don't)#but I'm intrigued in the idea of nervous Luigi attempting to interrogate Bowser (a literal 10 ft turtle-dragon who can easily kill him)#I'm not sure if anything I said makes sense but there's my two cents on a possible mario roleswap idea #also I will break your kneecaps if you ship Mario and Luigi together in this roleswap au #bowser #bowser nintendo #luigi #luigi nintendo #bowuigi #bowser x luigi #super mario #super mario bros #super mario movie #super mario bros movie #the super mario bros movie #mario roleswap #role swap au #mario au

it's kind of weird to me that they didn't bother releasing sushi and tempura internationally at all but at the same time i'm kinda glad they didn't cuz like. yo-kai watch was financially failing in the west by the time 3 released. i feel like if they had released sushi and tempura the franchise would've completely tanked before we got sukiyaki which would've sucked. honestly if anything i feel like it's more surprising that we got all three versions of 2 instead of them just releasing psychic specters but tbf i think yo-kai watch was doing well in the west when 2 released. 2 is just inexplicably what killed the franchise despite being a masterpiece-
