y’know how sora mentioned that the word ‘sora’ means ‘orphan’ in imperium?
i might be reading too much into this, but does that mean imperium has its own language? and given by imperium’s citizens’ strict isolation from the other realms, i’d assume that the language of imperium is the only language the people of imperium are taught, so:
give me kid sora and kid arin meeting each other for the first time, and sora not quite understanding everything arin’s saying because she’s been at the crossroads long enough to pick up a few words in ninjargon, but not that many.
give me arin trying his best to teach sora how to speak and write ninjargon, and her teaching him bits of imperium in turn (but only very rarely).
give me arin bring too young to have finished school, so when sora asks what that word is arin isn’t too sure and gives his best guess, hoping it doesn’t come back to bite him in a few years.
give me these two kids bonding despite culture barriers, despite language barriers, despite everything.

Now that there's no school, intrusive thoughts are coming out
We know that in the TLNM Kai & Nya are in the same class. And there's the fact that Kai is older than Nya. Well, I have 4 guesses on why they're in the same class:
Kai & Nya are twins
Kai's a repeater student
Nya (and probably some of the other guys too) moved up a grade or two
Kai was older than he should be when he managed to get education (or in better words, if 4 is the right age to be enrolled for preschool, Kai got it when he was 5 or older)
P.S. I don't know if there's a confirmed answer for this. And dummy me for putting 3 💀💀💀

Okay hear me out, because I have a theory.
Morro is from the cloud kingdom.
We know (or are at least pretty sure) that certain elements are native to certain realms. So what if wind is native to the cloud kingdom (I know this throws some wrenches in Wojira but ignore those until I overthink them away).
So Morro was born in the cloud kingdom, and the writers of destiny wiped his memories and cast him out when he developed powers. So when Wu, found him, he didn’t know he had powers and didn’t know where he was from.
This also explains why Morro was able to defy destiny. He was supposed to be a writer of it. Writers of destiny can be written about (hence the memory wipe), but it’s also a lot easier for them to defy destiny.
So when Morro’s power moved on, it went back to the Cloud Kingdom, but season five had such an effect on the place, that their power started falling apart and they practically became a joke.
I personally hc that they DID have the power to write destiny. Remember when Zane got his voice back because it was written? And then the writing on Dareth’s scroll turned red when Jay spilled the ink?
How can that all happen if the writers never had any power? Maybe the merge actually did screw things up! Maybe Morro’s actions caused a butterfly effect that drove them to irrelevancy?!
All I’m saying is that there’s no way they were useless from the start.
But if Morro was from the cloud kingdom, it makes it so much cooler that he swayed Fenwick over to his side. Fenwick probably recognized him and was like “Oh sh-t, this guy that was kicked out decades ago is back.” (I’m not gonna try to put a time on this, it’s up to interpretation if Fenwick was the one that kicked him out or if Fenwick came into power later)
Then it makes sense that Euphrasia was the one that got Morro’s power. She comes from the same place! Morro probably didn’t choose Euphrasia to give the power to, it was probably his element’s choosing. It was sick of not being welcomed in its own realm, and it knew that needed to be changed.
Alright, so I know there’s holes in this theory, but considering how many holes there are in Ninjago lore, I feel like the holes make it even more believable.
Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
Okay it’s been a few hours since I typed this and I thought of something. Wojira being solely wind and water never made sense to me. I mean- she has the storm amulet and the sea amulet. Storms are more than wind and the sea is more than water. Yes, those two elements are arguably the most influential in the amulets. But what about storm being wind, water, and lightning? Maybe the sea is water, and nature?
So maybe those elements played a hand in creating the amulets, but the reason only Nya’s power was acting up is because her element was the most connected to it? Maybe when all that happened is when Morro’s powers finally moved on!
Thanks again for coming to my TedTalk

My theory on how Jay stays evil next season 😂 (Ninjago Dr Spoilers)
Tumblr media
I doubt this will happen BUT I do 100% think this is how his arc will go, evil, fights ninja and they talk, confusion, then manipulated and then evil again. 😂

I've seen everyone making theories about this so this is my theory
Tumblr media
my theory is: what if this happened to jay because of s6?
I mean, perhaps because of his wish, this happened to him and this was a price, or he suffered psychological trauma because of Nadakan? and this affected his memory, Also it was assumed that Jay and Nya did not remember what happened in S6, but for some reason they remembered, and this was to the detriment of his memory, and with time and seasons he lost his memory in dr? But he remembers some things from his life, such as before he met Wu and Ninja, and perhaps he remembers Nya(?) but as an unknown woman the girl who was a part of the sea...Perhaps he saw in his dreams his previous life before he lost his memory and he thought they were just dreams?
I think it's a strange theory, but it makes sense in my opinion :)

Ninjago Ramblings
Tumblr media
Cracks knuckles.
Let's do this. I did post this on my server already but I wanted to expand it after a whole day of drinking coffee.
Lloyd for a while can wield all four elements of creation. I think regardless of whether he's the golden ninja or not doesn't matter. Besides his "green" energy still resembles a lot like the elements of fire and lightning. Which goes into the title of his element discussion too. The title Master of Energy works. Why? Because the elements of creation are essentially a kind of energy.
Definitions of energy:
the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity. "changes in the levels of vitamins can affect energy and well-being"
a person's physical and mental powers. "an alternative is to devote your energies to voluntary work"
power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources, especially to provide light and heat or to work machines. "nuclear energy"
the property of matter and radiation which is manifest as a capacity to perform work (such as causing motion or the interaction of molecules). "a collision in which no energy is transferred" a degree or level of energy possessed by something or required by a process.
The FSM used the elements to create Ninjago and the other realms. He couldn't do it without the elements of creation and especially when they were embedded into the golden weapons of spinjitzu. It was an energy the FSM couldn't obtain/use. Now besides the creation of Ninjago and several other realms, why were the golden weapons still important? The FSM seems to be able to wield all four golden weapons and Garmadon was able too. AND the weapons are used to identify Lloyd as the green ninja. This can't be a mistake. Perhaps there was always meant to be one who would wield all four elements without bursting from the intensity of the powers. Like it had to genetically be passed down to "create" the vessel aka Lloyd. Ergo the golden weapons were used to identify the green ninja. The green ninja who would wield all four elements without needing the golden weapons. Ergo the legend of the green ninja was important. Because not only can the green ninja defeat the overlord BUT also to have a master of energy. The energy comes from the four elements of creation. I think the Golden Ninja thing was more like a power boost if anything. Sort of like with Riyu and Sora in DR. The ability was always inside Lloyd, he just needed help to find it himself.
This also goes into why the Overlord needed Lloyd in S3. He needed that extra power Lloyd had to regenerate a physical body. But think about it. That golden energy the Overlord took needed time to create a body and even at 99% it wasn't complete! Because the Overlord himself can't handle the immense power of all four elements of creation. He wasn't build/made to handle that power easily. He couldn't just take it all in seconds, he needed time to process the intense energy and withstand it. That's why in S3, no one could touch the blob of the melted together golden weapons. Because again, the power was far too great for anyone to handle.
Although the FSM and Garmadon were able to handle the four golden weapons, it's not the same as wielding all elements within you. In S2, Garmadon had the Mega Weapon but everytime he used it, it drained him of his powers for probably hours. And this was AFTER he obtained four arms by spending time in the Realm of Madness. The FSM couldn't handle the power, Garmadon, his son, couldn't handle it, but Lloyd seems to be able to.
The point of this ramble was to theorize. Maybe the FSM wanted kids to obtain someone who could handle all four elements after he passed away and when he noticed Garmadon and Wu not having that elemental power, maybe he hoped that his lineage would. Maybe he foresaw the realms needing the Master of Energy. Just maybe...

Rewatching some shorts for therapy purposes and-
What if the reason why both young Wu and Garmadon wear the protection spell kimonos is because the FSM wanted to keep his boys safe from harm (and each other) after he was gone. :(
It’s also possible that the spells would only activate when the brothers fight, to break them up and prevent them from hurting each other :((

Ninjago Rambling
Tumblr media
Okay okay so we know the merge is also known as the coalescence By definition, it is the joining or merging of elements to form one mass or whole. What if. What if it is exactly that? The elements become far too unstable causing coalescence to happen?. That's why the first spinjitzu master made the golden weapons. To hold the element but that wasn't enough. So he then decided to make elemental masters that had the ability to withstand the elements' powers. But that wasn't enough either. He foresaw the coalescence due to the elements not being stabilized enough so he had to make the dragon cores out of pure elemental power to be able to stop the coalescence. That's why you have to use elemental power to close the merge quake. It would also explain how elements can be divided among several vessels or/and hosts. Ex: Nya, Nyad, amulets of Wojira. At least explains for the elements of creation and water and wind because I do HC the elements of creation to be the most powerful. One cannot handle it's raw power alone. So if the coalescence happened due to the elements not being stabilized enough how did it happen aka DR? Much like in Crystalized, several events caused the reaction. However, we can't assume FSM wasn't going to be aware of the events for at least in S1 and S2. To get to the prophecized battle between the Green Ninja and the Dark Lord, we had to get through S1. The events that might have caused the coalescence need to be after S2. In regards to that, I'm going back to the four elements of creation since they seem to be the most important.
1st event to trigger the coalescence would def be in S3 when Zane dies. It began to snow during Zane's funeral/rememberance. Although it's a sweet gesture I think this can be connected to the effects of Ragnork. Where it is said the first sign of Ragnork is Fimbulwinter which is three winters happen without a summer.
2nd event is when Zane and Cole (and if Jay also lost his elemental powers but I forgot) loses their elemental powers to Chen during S4 aka Tournament of Elements. Yes, many elemental holders lose their powers during S4 but I want to stay mostly focused on the four elements of creation. These elements are what FSM used to create Ninjago and several other realms. if they are indeed that powerful, then surely they would be the triggers to the Merge.
3rd event is in regards to Morro. Indeed he does not host one of the four elements of creation, however, I believe the elements of Wind and Water are the first two elements created by the instability of the four elements of creation. They are both powerful and ancient. I believe this would be the 3rd event because Morro had died but the element didn't move on to someone else. This error would def be a trigger
4th event is when Kai losing his elemental powers in S11 aka SoFS. Although it is not completely taken away from him as we learn throughout the season, it is still bad. Without a proper host, the element cannot be stable.
5th event is S14 aka Seabound. I don't think Wojira was meant to be awaken and thus another elemental master of water wasn't supposed to sacrifice themselves to merge with the ocean and save the day. Although it is not like the other events, I do believe it would be another trigger.
6th event is S15 aka Crystalized when Nya is stripped of her elemental powers. Again, going back to the idea that yes, she doesn't wield one of the elements of creation BUT the elements of Wind and Water are ancient enough and I believe second in importance. She does regain her element in time like Kai but the trigger still happened regardless. Because again, without a proper host, the element is unstable. Wu was not prepared for the coalescence because not all these events were meant to happen. Some were meant to happen but not all of them. By the time Wu realized the signs of the coalescence aka the Merge was to happen, it was too late Spoilers in regards to Dragons Rising below: It would also explain why FSM put the Dragon Cores in supposedly separate realms. Because he didn't see another coalescence to happen again. If he did, I'm sure he would have put them in Ninjago where the elemental masters are from. He left the realm crystal in Ninjago, he left the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu in Ninjago, he left his staff in Ninjago. If he truly knew what was going to happen, he would be smart and keep the Dragon Cores in Ninjago. But he didn't. This means there have to be some events/triggers that he believed would never happen.

Samura left willingly when she was younger. Jade and Hutchins are not related to the royal family, only the servants who have served them for generations.
This is as far as I can answer…!

something that’s been bugging me since the teaser trailer release is this photo:
Tumblr media
if the theories are true and this is jay, why are his eyes glowing so much? lego characters don’t tend to have coloured eyes (except if they’re just like that, looking at you lloyd), let alone glowing eyes unless they’re actively using their powers to a large extent - eg kai regaining his powers in s11, cole using his spinjitzu burst, jay powering up the hydro bounty etc. (side note: i’m assuming they’re glowing based on the fact jay’s eyes are the same colour as nya’s spinjitzu in the background.)
so here’s the theory: jay’s being used by the administration due to his powers. they’re exploiting his powers somehow - either by making him use them in more subtle ways than normal (would explain why the ninja don’t realise those are lightning powers and therefore that’s jay), and/or encouraging him to not hold back when using his powers, and/or getting him to unlock a new (more sinister?) ability like cole.
for comparison, the last time (i think?) jay’s eyes glowed like that was charging the hydro bounty scene - y’know, the action that almost killed him. glowing eyes don’t mean good things for jay.
either way i think lightning could be an incredibly dangerous element in the hands of someone who doesn’t care what harm they cause with it.

Theorie 2:Once garmadon and misako find eachother in the same realm misako runs to garmadon and they both hug and cry happy tears after finding eachother
Thats all my theories for now cya in the next post

I just came up with a theory for why Ninjago lore/history contradicts itself so much
So irl, all these different religions and cultures have different beliefs and ideas about the creation of the world
So why on earth should we assume that everyone in Ninjago has the same belief system???
We’ve just been able to see all these different cultures’ views on the creation of their earth
