NINA AND DANIEL (FABIAN AND NIENKE) :

Nina gets kidnapped by Knight Roman, after they felt like they had to make a bet to prove their true love. Basically everything happened because of their pride.

FELIX ( APPIE/ALFIE) :

Hungry Felix finds a fruit tree but is torn between eating it or not, It is only when a mysterious stranger eats the fruit that he decides to eat it, so he can't resist and devours one fruit after another.

KAYA AND LOTTE (JOYCE/JOY AND MICK):

After finding 2 doors where one had a storm and the other a beautiful landscape, they chose the most beautiful path because it was easier, the correct one being the most difficult.

DELIA (AMBER):

Delia sees a jewel and is mesmerized, She really wants to have that jewel.

LUZY (PATRICIA):

Upon entering a cave where they show her the person she desires most, she touches the mirror and falls into lust.

MARA (NOA/MARA):

As she climbs a rock, she sees an illusion of Magnus kissing Nina and is overcome by envy.

MAGNUS (JEROEN/JEROME)

Magnus had about 2 fits of rage during the movie, the second one being the one that made him fall because he tried to kill Daniel, because Daniel chose Nina while he chose Mara to be saved. This sin suits him taking into account in season 3 when he had at least 3 fits of rage because mara was in danger.

Hello I think?

Hi :) I guess this is an introductory blog post of some sort lol. Not expecting much just thought it would be fun to make this blog so I have somewhere to talk about HOA and HHA (and maybe find talk with other fans of the franchise). I have loved this franchise since I first saw HOA in 2011. Rekindled my love of the show back in 2020 and have started HHA back in 2022. Here some things Id like you to know about my thoughts on stuff about the show!

-Nina has always been my favorite character since childhood. I KNOW SHES THE MAIN CHARACTER AND ALL BUT SHES THE MAIN CHARACTER FOR A REASON

-Speaking of Nina, I don't care what happened in the third season Nina and Fabian will always be together (y'all will have to pry this couple from my cold dead hands)

-Besides the WONDERFUL addition of KT and Willow, I completely disregard the 3rd season entirely

-In my head, Nina leaving never happens because it makes no sense at ALL

-Speaking of making no sense, the writers pairing Mara and Fabian up together in the third season was WILD. Don't claim it.

And that's all I can think of right now tbh. I might talk about more of my own head canons ive created in my brain on here idk yet. If anyone ever wants to talk SIBUNA with me message me! I don't bite :)

Some Grishaverse characters rated based on my opinion of the Doc Marten’s I think they would wear

Because if you think these folks wouldn’t wear DMs then you’re just lying to yourself

Kaz Brekker: 8/10 Kaz would wear classic all black boots, it has “maybe a bit basic but you’re not wrong” vibes going for it, they match his aesthetic, and it’s a real vibe. I could see him going for the black shoes as well, but I’d like to think he’s a boots man.

The Darkling: -1/10 this bitch also goes for classic black boots but somehow, I can’t explain it, it’s in a bad way. Maybe my judgment is just clouded by my hatred for the Darkling, who knows.

Jesper Fahey: 100/10 I feel like no explanation should be necessary for this but you’re getting one anyway. Jesper would have like a full shoe closet of DMs and he’d meticulously select which ones went best with his outfit that day. I can fully see him wearing different colours on each foot, and he probably also has a full selection of different coloured laces to swap in and out.

Wylan: 9/10 Unlike his boyfriend, he only has one pair; boots, flat colour - probably black or something muted - but sometimes he adds laces with lil rainbows on

Inej: 7/10 This is tough because I so badly want Inej to be a DMs fan but we all know that she wants to walk everywhere silently and I’m not sure that even she could achieve that in DMs. That being said, she’d have a pair of boots in like a really dark purple colour with black laces or black with purple laces.

Alina: 7/10 She’s got her beloved, beaten up old brown boots that she wears on the daily, and then she’s got her cute lil floral number on a pale background that she adores but is terrified of ruining

Nina: 100/10 She also has a full cupboard of Docs; she’s got her florals, her colours, she’s got shiny boots that are like silver-blue but also have loads of colours in, like the suit that Danielle wore for press day (gorgeous), I don’t know how to describe it as a colour. If she and Jesper were the same size then they would absolutely borrow from/raid each other’s DM cupboards all the time. I’m also of the strong belief that she has those chunky heeled shoes in black

Punk!Bimbo Reader Headcanons Part I

She moved to Hawkins from Queens in her Freshman year

When she arrived everyone was mean to her, she showed up with chopped off cropped hair styled a little Betty Boop, a Sex Pistols t-shirt that had her thrown in the principal's office, and maroon doc martens all beat up.

Girls would hit her in the locker room and call her derogatory names and guys would call her a slut especially because of her well endowed breasts and punk appearance.

One day, Horror!Bimbo is in the girl's bathroom skipping class to have a smoke, she's fixing her lipstick when she smells smoke, sees the bathroom window open and hears crying.

She opens the stall of the handicapped one to see Punk!Bimbo sitting on the toilet, just sitting, with headphones on, tears messing up her mascara, clutching a cigarette with chipped red nails in a cute, ripped Iggy Pop shirt, a small jeans shorts, ripped fishnet stockings, and docs, oversized army jacket around her elbows and a cool homemeade nose piercing.

She liked this girl and eyed her cadillac red lipstick, she wants it. "You're crying, is the song very sad?"

Punk!Bimbo was ready to cuss out and fight the bitch who interrupted her when she saw it was the Whore of Hawkins High, that was what they called her but Punk!Bimbo thought it was misogynist and ridiculous, and who gave a fuck what anyone did with their own life, God forbid! Oh how she hates the midwest.

The girl had a vacant yet kind look in her eye and looked unbothered and intrigued, so Punky answered. "No, it's angry, it's um--Black Flag, Rise Above by Black Flag."

Horror!Bimbo took out her own cigarette, wrapping her black cherry lips around her own and lit up with her lavender colored lighter. To Punky she looked like a stripper rendition of a corpse bride and she LOVED it, who was she? Truly? "Can I listen? You can listen to my tape, it's uh- *giggles* Nina Hagen--"

"I love Nina Hagen!" Punky exclaimed interrupting the gore whore.

Horror!Bimbo sat on Punky's lap with ease and took her head phones while giving hers to Punky. "They steal my panties and tell everyone I give blow jobs for 50 cents-- one time the principal tried to look up my skirt, I asked him why he was looking up there and I got suspended and a rumor of me fucking him went around, now his wife gives me dirty looks at my dad's grocery store." Her wispy, ghost-like voice explained which horrified Punky, how could anyone treat someone like that? Especially someone so sweet. "They call me a slut and a dyke, I don't care about that though those aren't insults to me, but it's the hitting you know? They like to fuck with me and- I'm so tired, I'm not sad I'm tired, fucking tired and something's gotta change."

Horror!Bimbo blew a smoke ring. "So hit back, bash them in the head for once, you're gonna get in trouble anyway. Bash their brains in watch the blood run." She giggled like a maniac.

Punky laughed. "You're crazy."

"I know!" She moaned "Please try and tell the mental hospitals I've been applying at that!'

They've been best friends ever since.

Punky decided to follow in Moth's footsteps and played up the bimbo look. Cut her hair in a blunt, China bob, dressing revealing like California's Angelyne and spin some Debbie Harry into her look which was absolutely lethal with her va va voom body, her overdeveloped hips and tits, makeup always vampy, clothing rockabilly.

She really started fighting back when her mom's boyfriend tried to molest her in her sleep one night, she put a cigarette out in his eye. Her mom kicked her out, this was junior year, and Horror!Bimbo took her in for a month until her mom begged her back and told her she was right that Rodney was no good.

She blamed Punky though for looking so easy, Punky bit back her feminist rant and let bygones be bygones with her mother but when school came, when Carol tried to grab her by the hair because her boyfriend wanted her to blow him, she took Carol by the hair and slammed her head against the locker and pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the stomach with her thrift store, leopard print stilettos, she beat the ever living shit out of Carol as she let out bloodcurdling screams in the hall, she never forgot when Carol tried to set her up to get gangraped at a party and never forgot when Steve Harrington saved her that night.

Carol had to be taken to the hospital, she had two broken ribs, one missing tooth, a broken nose, broken arm, and a concussion from Punky's rage alone.

Nobody messed with her again.

She started an apprenticeship at the only beauty parlor in town and sings lead for a punk band started by community college students from the next town over, they call the band Hellcat, which was a nickname Punky earned.

The Beauty Parlor is a couple doors down from Family Videos

A certain big haired employee was enamored with the vixen in the tight pin up clothing and the vampy bob who swayed her hips down the street to her job. He'd bring her food sometimes from Benny's, give her his employee discount when she came in for videos, sometimes just pay for it himself.

"Let me know when you wanna book an appointment with me Stevie" She'd tell him with a smirk on her cadillac red lips, a wink, and a saucy little hip sway. She was like Elizabeth Taylor, Vikki Dugan, and Elvira wrapped in one, she was a centerfold come to life, he'd do anything for her, let her do anything to him.

If only she knew after that terrible night at the party, he would follow her home every night after that to make sure she got home safe.

Alright fellas, here’s my furry design for everyone’s favorite Leigh Whannell character that got cannibalized, Matt! He’s a sable which is a species of Marten.

The reason why I chose to make him a sable is because it just made sense to me, but also because they’re known for their super soft fur which is often used for coats. I thought I could sorta tie that in with the whole cannibalism thing

And here’s a few shitty traditional doodles I did of Matt and Nina as furries, Nina’s a brush tail possum with golden fur since the traits of possums like their intelligence and cautiousness suits her I think. And possums are also often used for their fur as well, if I ever draw Jack and Rebecca they will also probably be animals that are often used for their fur to keep up with the theme

I know I said this before and I'm beating a dead horse with this.

But anyway I talk about things over and over again.

But this looks like brother and sister and not a couple to me. They look so freakishly similar. And it's not just that they look like twins, the vibes are also there.

They do have chemistry as friends or as siblings. In the beginning of Season 1 they were cute when there was no romance going on. But then it got weird and kind of looked like incest at times.

I don't know how they would have pulled it off, but it would have been interesting if they were actually twins and lost at birth. And when they meet again they feel this weird connection.

somethings to say about the Nina tribute video:

i originally planned on her video maybe being 5 minutes long

def was not my plan to have a 15 minute video. (14:50 if you wanna get technical)

and im STILL missing the uncut version (yep there's more!)

but im honestly okay with it bc well the thing about nina is that she had SO much going on:

navigating a new school and residence, dodging false accusations from an angry girl, meeting this mysterious woman that sends her on a quest, becoming the de-facto leader of a new group and people looking to her for what to do next, sarah dying, hearing voices around the house, thinking she may be going insane, rufus zeno threatening not just her life but her friends’ lives as well, learning she’s the chosen one and assembling a magical cup all in less than five minutes, an evil spirit threatening her life and now her bf’s life and now her friends’ and grandmother’s life unless she finds some mystical mask in a set of tunnels under the house, accidentally hexing her friends leading to alfie regressing to a child and baby; and amber aging to a very scary point, choosing to put on the mask of anubis in order to save her friends and gran’s lives which meant her going into the field of rushes and just flat out die basically. all the while deal with romance drama and joy’s villain era.

so to put all of that in a five minute video would not suffice it nor do her justice

i did try and do parts for each song

power of the mind is and always will be a nina song, it was the first song i picked out for her and i just think it really fits her

like the first song is mainly her introduction, the most important bits like meeting sarah, getting the locket, her parallels to sarah and her ingenuity as well as smarts and recklessness too, just her character overall and then we slowly moved to chosen one stuff in the next song and then senkhara's hold over her as well as why she wants the mask after that

i didnt show a lot of rufus going down bc it's nina's story to tell, rufus is a whole other thing and at the end, i really tried to focus on nina specifically

that being said, it does end with fabian (and amber) missing her, the last bit of her being the hand written letter (not the locket, that's another thing entirely) i wanted to focus on something nina did rather than what she was given

i used imovie for the software, dont really have anything to say about it bc its free for me so i dont really know other video editing software *shrug*

the penultimate song (the way by zack hemsey) was almost this song called dwell on dreams and i changed it bc it was just too uplifting, like nope, we gotta go down darkness right now

i listened to like eight different songs trying to decide what fit fabina in the end, and i think last kiss by taylor swift really does summarize them in majority, if anyone else has another song please let me know

there’s seriously enough recorded content to make a senkhara video im ngl

also a victor video would be fun too but i’d have to go back and record his scenes again bc i was mainly focused on sibuna stuff

at one point nina’s video has over 54 minutes of content. yep. (thats not including the fabina scenes. in total it should come around to an hour and thirteen minutes. yep.)

i just realized while i didnt end up publishing it on July 7th, i managed to get it out there on July 17 which i think is a fun win!

my favorite part of the video is prob when vera asks victor “what is it about that girl? she makes you nervous, decidedly nervous.�� i love it, i wished more characters talked about nina and what she can do, like idk rufus or some of the teachers smth like “dont underestimate them. especially nina martin.” and shit.

like for example in the s1 ending for HHA victor’s on the phone w the real bad guy or whatever, and he’s asking who’s responsible for all this shit and victor answers, “Her name… is Nienke. Nienke Martens.” or smth like that i cant remember

the next video is Alfie’s and i hope his does remain with five minutes bc the song i have for him is perfect and unlike Nina he does have one direct line of evolution from class clown to traumatized to untrustworthy sibuna to brave sibuna, proving to us and to his friends but most importantly to himself that he’s the bravest sibuna no matter what.
