On one hand, I love a Jason that gets seriously injured and turns into a scared dog. *Mwah*, chef's kiss, 10/10.

On the other hand, I love a Jason that gets seriously injured and reverts back to his younger self.

Jason, seriously hurt, pointing one of his guns at Bruce: “Don't come any fuckin' closer! You just get yer ass out of here, I don't need yer damn help.. I never want yer help with anything ever again..”

Then you get a Bruce that has to try and calm the dog. That sits at the end of the alley a comfortable distance away and waits for his boy to come back to him. Holds his hand out and waits for the dog to inevitably give in and let Bruce take care of him.

BUT ALSO

Jason, slowly bleeding out on the floor of a random warehouse: “...”

Bruce, who just so happened to be busting the same criminals and probably just saved Jason's life: “..Jay?”

Jason, sounding like he's tearing up behind his helmet: “..I wanna go home now, dad..”

Bruce: “..Okay, Chum. We'll go home now. I'll take care of you.”

YES. Ford being like "Stanley would you take this lactation pill? There's proven studies that show breast milk aids in dealing with symptoms of illness like I have-"

"Yeah, yeah, Poindexter, hand it over." Stan says, taking it swiftly. Nearly an hour later, Ford joins him again on the couch and immediately notices two distinct stains on his tank top over his nipples. Stan peels it off and grunts, "Get to work."

Ford's eager mouth immediately latches around the leaking bud, tasting the sweet nectar that his brother produces. Stan moans at the strong licks and languid swirls of his tongue, the skin of his nipple scrunching against it at his arousal. He starts to suck the milk out of his chest, assisted by Ford's hands maneuvering his flesh to eventually get every last drop. When he switches to Stan's other breast, Ford knows he's hard. He drops his unused hand to slowly jerk him off, finally ramping up when he's so close to sucking his breast dry.

There is a version of him that Would Fucking Say That, however this is a version of him that I feel doesn't represent the core values of Batman as a hero, therefore my carefully crafted version of him that is, in my opinion, a good mix of positive and negative qualities and that I love very dearly Would Not Fucking Say That.

“He would not fucking say that” is a Schrodinger’s phrase when it comes to Batman. There is probably Batman run where he would say that. There is also probably a run where Batman would kill the other Batman for saying that.

Consume the Catalog

C O N S U M E

I wrote my January goals and that included a reading goal! And then I thought "why don't I tackle/prioritize my physical TBR?"

So I went through and tallied all my books up and my physical TBR has 28 books and 14 graphic novels. Most of which come from a Dark Horse giveaway that I won, books I got as gifts, and a bunch of books I got from a friend when she moved!

Then I was like hey, I just grabbed a bunch of games during the Fall Steam Sale why don't I make an effort to work through that catalog as well? And if I'm doing Steam I might as well note down my PS4 and Switch library.

And so Consume the Catalog was born. One of my 2024 goals is going to be working through these libraries and prioritize them over purchasing new books and games. If you'd like to follow along or give me recommendations you can view the list on Google Sheets here!

For the books, I marked books In Progress if I had started it in the past couple years but never finished it. I started The Way of Kings only a couple months ago, but then set it aside during Nanowrimo so I will probably be tackling that one first.

For the video games, I marked them complete if I finished them or if I had sufficiently progressed in the game to be satisfied. (You can never really be done with Stardew Valley or Hades, but I have other games to play).

I am excited to start checking pieces off the list! Please let me know if you have any recommendations from these books or games that I should prioritize first!

Unusual Writing Tips You Didn’t Know You Needed

You’ve probably heard the usual writing advice like "Show, don’t tell" or "Write every day" (yes, I know, I’ve suggested these too—they’re classics for a reason). But I’ve gathered a few unconventional writing tips that have helped me break through creative blocks, and maybe they’ll spark something for you too! ✨

1. Stop Writing Mid-Sentence It sounds strange, but if you stop writing in the middle of a sentence, your brain will stay engaged with your work. When you come back, you’ll instantly know where to pick up. It’s like leaving breadcrumbs for your mind to follow.

2. Write the Boring Parts First That one slow scene you’re dreading? Knock it out first. Think of it as clearing the path for all the fun, action-packed scenes that come later. Once the boring parts are done, you can fully dive into the exciting ones without hesitation.

3. Change Your Font A quick font change can be a game-changer! It tricks your brain into thinking you’re looking at a completely new piece of writing, helping you spot weak spots or areas that need refining. Also, it makes editing less of a chore when you’re tired of staring at the same old page.

4. Write Something Awful Give yourself 15 minutes to write the worst thing you can. Let it be cheesy, awkward, and messy. This removes all the pressure and often leads to unexpected ideas or breakthroughs. After that, you can dive into your real writing without the perfectionism getting in the way.

Disdain and Destruction

My heart contains no more for you

A CoD AU that I literally dreamed about last night lmao:

It was basically a found family AU, but all of them had supernatural powers and had (presumably) been lab experiments.

So for example the dream I had mainly centered around König (who was part of the Task Force in this universe), and he was on a mission to find his younger sister who was also inside one of these labs.

His powers were A) That he could regenerate his body on command, and B) That he could turn into a bear. But like, a bear that walks on two legs and still has human motor control. His sister also had these abilities.

So what I saw in the dream was that they were taken to this government facility by some evil old guy, and while no one was looking they had König lay in the bathtub and Ghost used his powers (Which were to make people hear things inside of their mind and, presumably, make them hallucinate), to make König's head explode by continuously increasing the volume of what he was hearing. So now he was laying in the bathtub, looking very much dead.

So when the evil old guy came back and was like ‘I dunno if I believe in your powers’, they showed him into the bathroom where König was. Except while he was too busy gawking at all the blood, König regenerated his face back to normal, turned into his bear form, and killed him before going off further to try and find his sister.

I didn't get to see any of the other's powers, but I just wanted to share that snippet cuz I thought it might make a cool AU lol

Nanowrimo 2023 In Review

This year was the first year I completed Nanowrimo! After almost a decade of dabbling I finally completed the challenge to write 50,000 words in the 30 days of November!

During the last week of October I decided to cobble together an outline. By the time November 1st rolled around I had only roughly outlined Act 1 and about half of Act 2 and hoped that would be enough to get me through the first half of this 100,000 word fantasy novel I had planned.

This quickly turned out to not be true as I chewed through the beats I had plotted at an alarming rate in much fewer words than I anticipated. This lead to a terrible slump in the third week of the month where I did not write at all leaving me with a writing goal of 5,000 words a day for the last week if I wanted to see this through.

I discovered through the challenge that I could write a thousand words in roughly 30 mins and about 2500 words in an hour. (Don't ask me why that math doesn't add up). I also discovered that the folks talking about "shitty first drafts" are right. It was amazing to see how many solutions to my writing problems slotted into place simply by putting words on the page for me to fix.

On November 30th I cranked out an absurd 6435 words to hit my goal of 50,000. I am so proud of what I accomplished and invigorated to write again. I have taken December to rest and mull over my story, but in January I will be cracking open the draft and taking a jackhammer to it to finish putting it into a book shape. Then the joy of editing begins. I can't wait.

Valentines day double date, ruined by exams...

It's not actually valentines day on my country, so i made this as a gift for my sabofriends! They really like shipping Garl/Serai and Valere/Teaks :)

I don't know the reason but it hurts me. I am hurt by things that are superficial to others, but deep to me. I hope I'm the strong one, who doesn't get hurt by small things.
