I'm trying to focus on Clark opening up A POCKET DIMENSION so they can GO FISHING while they ARE IN COSTUME for BATMAN'S BACHELOR PARTY (I love comics so, so much) but I'm getting distracted by Dick just casually leaning up against Superman like he's a hat rack.
I mean, that's Dick Grayson for you, the guy with the god-like superpowers and the world-famous symbol on his chest and Dick's just casually throwing an arm over his shoulder to lean on him because that's who Dick is, if you're his uncle, he'll casually lean all over you and probably used Uncle Clark as a climbing gym when he was ten.

I literally can't take it anymore. I need to get this out of my system. This is a hate-rant about why almost every single thing Tom Taylor has written is wrong.
First and foremost is the bimbofication of Dick Grayson. Tom Taylor loves to write him like this idiot who doesn't think at all. Being cheerful does not mean being dumb.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #79
"You seem unusually contemplative"? All Dick does is contemplate!
Nightwing (1996) Issue #3
His mind is always running!
Nightwing (2011) Issue #13
Nightwing (2016) Issue #38
I just picked a random issue from all of these comics and in every single one of these, Dick's planning, thinking, and strategising constantly.
Tom Taylor literally treats him like he's stupid or something.
Also the degradation of his abilities
Nightwing (2016) Issue #79
A vigilante for 20 years. Who has faced assassins, hitmen, psychos, surprise attacks, metas, and you're telling me he didn't know that a untrained kid snuck up and stole from him?
He forgot who he was, he didn't forget where he lived! Even when he was Ric Grayson, Dick had procedural memory. His battle instincts stayed with him.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #52
"Then...I didn't even know what I was doing. I took him down--took him apart in seconds."
This man is a vigilante machine when he was amnesic. Why the heck would Dick ever let his guard down?
His robin reference
Nightwing (2016) Issue #92
Even Bruce in Batman: Hush has said it-Dick was the best. His skills were the best of anyone he's witnessed which is one of the reasons why Bruce let him be Robin in the first place.
This scene is so wrong that there's a robin scene that came out before this in direct opposition of this Tom Taylor Shitshow.
Robin & Batman Issue #1
This was actually pre-robin. Bruce had him do a solo-trial run to see his skill before he made him Robin and this was the result. Compare that to Tom Taylor's scene and the result is humiliating. For Taylor.
Tom Taylor's version of trying to show that Dick loves the people comes off as him hating crime-fighting. RIP the whole Robin firing drama and Nightwing birth i guess.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #79
"We could have avoided all of this if we'd just stayed in and eaten kibble."
Nightwing (1996) Issue #3
Dick would rather die than stop crime-fighting. After Blockbuster's first attempt, his life was hanging on by a thread and he still continued crime fighting.
Nightwing (1996) Issue #91
After Blockbuster blew up his apartment, this is the single-minded determination Dick had to continue crime-fighting. This is him at one of the worst lows of his life but he refused to give up but now? He has everything and Dick wants to ignore the murder of a child to stay inside and eat kibble which - what the heck? I know he's seen as a happy character but him finding dog-food desirable is too far!
Also the idiocy of which Tom Taylor had Barbara calling the cops in Bludhaven for a stolen wallet. Newsflash! This isn't her first rodeo here.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #81
vs
Nightwing (2016) Issue #24
Nightwing (2011) Issue #23
Given how Dick's easily defeated enhanced metas and "very good" fighters, him falling down the stairs is a little to absolutely impossible to believe.
Another thing I love about Dick that Tom Taylor deciminates is his grace. Dick is the most graceful person in DC. His balance easily matches Selina's enhanced cat powers.
But yet. You have.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #83
Nightwing (2011) Issue #23
yeah. okay.
Taylor's motorbike scenes of Dick make me so mad. The boy is a pro at crazy. It's one of his best traits because he does the wildest stunts and he pulls it off.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #93
Nightwing (1996) Issue #86
He lands on his feet. He grabbed a villain mid-air, crashed into a window, and was perfectly fine. Actually no, he's not fine because he's worried about his bike's paint job.
Nightwing (2011) Issue #24
He just sailed over a whole crowd of people and started kicking butt like what he just did wasn't extraordinary - which for him is just another tuesday.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #95
yeah, tell 'er Dick.
He doesn't need someone to hold his bike.
One of the worst things in Taylor's run is how Blockbuster went down. It suddenly reminded me of Selina's stupid ideology which is why I think I got so ticked off.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #96
Blockbusters' thugs loyalty to him isn't a make it or break it deal. He's one of strongest criminal organisations and the knowledge that he owns one of the worst prisons that he could easily put his underlings into would've instilled fear into his thugs, not freedom. Furthermore Blockbuster takes good care of his people that don't piss him off. He teamed up with Nightwing in the scarecrow era in Nightwing (2016) because someone was messing with his people. He's extremely intelligent and superstrong, and he's not just going to be brought down by the knowledge that he owns a prison. It's Bludhaven. If he didn't, then there would be something suspicious given that he runs the city. It's the way Taylor dumbs down Bludhaven's villains that gets to me. Imagine him writing Batman (2016). It's like saying, "yeah the Joker was just a little misguided but he found the right way again after a stern talking to by Batman."
Nightwing is a big name.
When Dick first came to Bludhaven, one of the police officers was like we don't want your crazy here or something. Also Bludhaven loves Nightwing. They want him.
So why is everyone pretending like they don't know who he is?
Nightwing (2016) Issue #90
The police, the citizens, the villains-all of them. Dick fought Brutale and beat the crap out of him way back in 1996 comic. He's a Bludhaven regular. Just because Dick forgot who he was doesn't mean anyone else forgot him. Amnesia doesn't work that way.
Nightwing (2016) Issue #54
A whole team of Nightwings were formed during Dick's amnesic period because of how badly he was needed and missed. It's almost like the Tom Taylor run is set in an alternate universe.
I ran out of image space but what the absolute fiddlesticks is up with Dick being scared to jump. It better be a manipulation tactic but at this point I think Tom Taylor doesn't even know that Dick is manipulative.

HELP THEY TOOK BRUCE TO BATBURGER FOR HIS BACHELOR PARTY THAT THEY FORCED ON HIM AND DICK WAS LIKE "YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD MAKE THIS EVEN WORSE I MEAN BETTER? I'M GONNA RENT THE PLACE OUT AND INVITE OTHER PEOPLE IN COSTUMES." JUST. DICK ONCE AGAIN WOKE UP AND CHOSE VIOLENCE AND SUPERMAN WAS LIKE "PLEASE LET ME IN ON THIS" AND NIGHTWING WAS LIKE "I WOULDN'T DREAM OF NOT HAVING YOU THERE". THESE ARE JUSTICE LEAGUE-LEVEL HEROES AND BATMAN CAN NEVER TELL ANYONE WHAT AN AWFUL, AWFUL DEMON HE HAS FOR A BEST FRIEND AND AN AWFUL, AWFUL CHAOS GREMLIN HE HAS FOR A KID. I LOST IT FOR FIVE STRAIGHT MINUTES, THEY'RE THE ABSOLUTE WORST, NO WONDER BRUCE LOVES THEM SO MUCH

Do you have any recomended readings for Jason Todd? Not a full masterlist, just runs you'd recommend
I answered this way back but I have read a lot more comics since, so I think that it's a good time to revise it. All the links lead to readcomicsonline, so I'd recommend using an addblocker before clicking on them. And please make sure to buy the comics if you can.
✨Jason Todd Comic Recommendations ✨
Pre-Crisis
Pre-crisis Jason was essentially a clone of Dick, down to his dead parents being circus performers, so there is not a lot of this era that I'd recommend, and you can honestly skip this section. That being said:
For The Man Who Has Everything (Action Comics Annual #11): this is not really a Jason story as much as an (iconic) Superman story. It does however mark the first meeting between Jason and Wonder Woman, and he does play a role in defeating the bad guy.
Post-Crisis Robin Era
Main Robin Run (Batman (1940) #408 - #425): this includes the revised Jason origin (aka the one most people know about), Jason's first mission as Robin (ft. Two-Face!), Jason and Dick teaming up for the first time (this Jason and Dick team up got retconned in Nightwing Year One, but imo the original one is much better) and some other Jaybin adventures. My favourites are Bruce and Jason trying to catch a Serial Killer terrorizing Gotham as well as the Felipe Garzonas storyline, which sets the stage for ADITF.
Legends: This is a small event and Jason isn't in it a lot but I really liked it.
A Death in The Family: Jason dies in this one.
Post Resurrection (aka, the Red Hood era)
Under the Red Hood: this is the deluxe edition, which includes the main UTRH sotryline as well as the fight prior to that set during the the Hush story arc and Batman Annual #12, which is Jason's first Red Hood origin (it get's expanded upon later in Lost Days):
Red Hood: Lost Days: Essentially Jason's time between coming back from the dead all the way to UTRH
Teen Titans #29: The Titan's Tower incident. a lot of people dislike this one but personally I though it was pretty fun lol. Basically Jason beats up Tim in the most dramatic, theater-kid-esque way possible.
Green Arrow #69-72: Jason vs Mia Dearden.
There are some stuff set between this and the New52 but I have either not read them (Brothers in Blood, Countdown) or they were bad (Battle for the Cowl). Then there comes the New52 RHATO run (horrible) and the Rebirth RHATO run (not as horrible but still bad) So instead I'd skip to Infinite Frontier and recommend:
Batman: Urban Legends #1-#6: The first story called Cheer has a Jason and Bruce team up. It's not the best but I don't hate it as much as any of the RHATO stuff.
Task Force Z: Jason joins a team made up by zombified Batman rouges. That one was actually good.
Elseworlds:
From the DC Vault: Death in the Family: Robin Lives!: What would have happened if Jason didn't die during UTRH (currently ongoing)

I just want to add the following: I cannot guarantee that this is 100% accurate or up to date. I will do my best to update when we get new Jason content. I have not had any help with this and got the information from multiple other sources. Because I've had no help, no one has proof checked this so there might be some errors.
If you notice any errors or know of anything I've missed please let me know and I will fix the error as soon as I can!

31DOD Day 20
There is so much shit between Dick and Bruce and their relationship is so complicated and interesting.
We are going to talk about Dick and Clark instead!
I love Dick and Clark's relationship. Despite the gap in their age, Clark truly sees Dick as an equal whom he respects deeply. Let's look at some of Dick and Clark's greatest hits:
Superman: American Alien
Anyway, they talk for a bit then Batman tries to beat up Superman for talking to his kid. Lovely little first interaction in this series even though it isn't in the main continuity.
Titans (1999) #2
This is one of my favorite examples of how much trust Superman puts in Nightwing. He is obviously really worried about the guy who tried to steal the moon and a whole bunch of the JLA's children, but he trusts Nightwing to keep a handle on things. Dick is also unafraid to question Clark's motives which shows how comfortable he is with Superman.
I have been living for World's Finest lately, probably one of the best comics DC is putting out right now.
Batman/Superman: World's Finest #6
Here Clark understands Dick better than Bruce does pretty immediately. Clark always has Robin's back.
Superman (1939) #700
This one is also a cute story. Look at Superman doing Robin's homework like a big softie. It's like watching his two dads play good cop bad cop.
Batman: Prelude to the Wedding: Nightwing vs. Hush
These dorks also planned out Bruce's whole bachelor party. They came at this with the intent of being as annoying as possible while showing Bruce that they care about him and I love that for them.
