Inconveniences come in many forms.

Some more candid than most, while others lurk in the shadows of carelessness like hyenas ; ready to pounce on the unsuspecting prey at the opportune time. Trouble and tribulation eclipse the course of human life, masquerading as two sides of the same coin. What they are, in truth, a pair of mischievous twins who are always watching, evaluating and trapping their victims in elation-filled jumpscares. It is also true that woes differ based on the individual, some even see fit to opine that the source of misery is the individual themselves.

Your vexations however, are dictated by two idiosyncratic persons with interests as farther apart as two solar systems. Which isn't a lot if one considers the magnificence of the universe, but distanced enough to be the tillable land of your miseries. Said inconveniences usually arrive dressed as revoked privileges, confiscation of entertainment items and... movie nights.

A night where you're supposed to be enjoying a film as a group shouldn't have been such an adversity if the aforementioned individuals respected the bare minimum of being normal. On usual occasions, who you end up accompanying is maintained through a strict schedule as opposed to the much friskier notion of rolling-dices that was favored by a certain blonde (in which he always emerged victorious and was thus declared irrationally imbalanced by Veritas) — but, an unforseen lapse of management and chaos was bred.

In matters that concern you, it seemed as though even the most seamless co-operations failed to reach a simple consensus. So when the erudite Dr Ratio expressed eagerness to spend a ‘relaxing afternoon’ with your person, it clashed quite clamorously with Aventurine's desire to have you participate in one of his many adrenaline-high games. And because of the decrease in release of dopamine that came from being a frequent observer of their arguments, you ended up suggesting this dreadful activity ; Ratio's silent perusal by your left and Aventurine's equally quiet phone browsing by your right are all that remains of the earlier fiasco.

You consider it a shame, because unbeknownst to them, you actually were plotting ways to watch this particular film. But, when at approximately fifteen minutes into the story you realized you were the only one among you three that was paying it any attention at all — you felt, quite blatantly, deflated. Surprisingly though, that was not the main source of your current misery at all, no, no ; what was causing you distress was the deplorable portion of space that they alloted to you from the couch.

At least Ratio has the habit of crossing his legs subconsciously, making your life just a miniscule easier. Unlike Aventurine whose default setting is to be attached to any patch of your skin anytime you're within his radius and when he brings that to the cauldron of being compressed between him and Ratio — it perfectly justifies why you're dancing between the provocative lines of mild annoyance and a meltdown. You'd believe they forgot about your existence altogether if not for Ratio's definitely-not-intentional shifting and the without context headpats from Aventurine.

Their treatment, although (probably) not deliberate, suggest you to be the equivalent of the pampered housecat and if one was to generously point out the expression on your face at present, that allegation would be right.

You stifle a sigh that transitions into a yawn with your only friend in this dreadful world, your plush pillow. The dialogues exchanged by the actors in the movie gradually become unintelligible as your vision morphs into a kaleidoscope of black dots and patterns. You draw your knees closer until they become parallel to your chin, musing a scenario where you lean so into the couch that it swallows your form and hurls you into a wonderland free of covetous hands or hearts. Where you could roam without eyes attached to every move you make and most importantly, where the notion of inconveniences would cease to exist.

You've seen it happen in shows a younger you indulged in and a passing thought makes you smile sardonically ; the world is so bizarre that you've effortlessly found yourself in a situation as complex as your current one but, not bizarre enough to make fantasies such as these a reality. The noises from the screen, Ratio's nonchalant page turning and the fragrance of Aventurine's cologne make your lucidity sway, until darkness cradles you close.

That night, you found yourself having a rather tender dream. In your dream, the blonde promptly busied himself in positioning you more comfortably on his lap upon feeling your slumbering head hit his shoulder. You felt succinctly amused upon the ‘place the pillow under their head, moron!’ that left a certain virtuoso's lips. Said virtuoso, shifted the rest of your body to be rested on his lap with a gentleness that baffled even Aventurine. Some say that dreams are manifestations of the desires that stay stagnant within the crevices of our minds. If that theory holds even a fraction of credence, then the percipience of what your subconscious desires, leaves you feeling as solemn as sated.

By the hour you gain awareness of the waking world again, there is but silence surrounding the living room. Your first blink is followed by a series of more and your sense of feeling works faster before your sense of sight, it sticks quite insistently just above your knees and atop your head. You roll a bit and realize they are in fact the hands of Ratio and Aventurine respectively, holding you away from kissing the floor and cracking your nose. As your vision gains more clarity, you notice the purple-head, supported by the palm of his left hand and the arm of the couch. You rise up and notice Aventurine mirroring Ratio's position, you conclude them both to be asleep judging by their collective inertia despite your movements.

Your eyes shift downwards towards the pillow on which you rested moments before and seeing it positioned exactly atop Aventurine's lap, confirm your suspicions that the scene you witnessed in your sleep had, in fact, happened in reality. Perhaps the universe heard your hopeless plea and bargained it with this speck of generosity.

They really didn't move an inch — but the bubbling warmth was soon pushed down by — as if I was a cat they didn't want to disturb!

Seokmin; in a relationship

He is really lowkey about his feelings at the start, not wanting too much attention on him or you for that matter.

When you are finally in a relationship he'd be the type to always match your energy. I know a lot of people see him as super hyper 24/7 but tbh he's pretty chill with you. Just always smiling slightly cause he loves being near you.

Dates with him would be really cute . A lot of the time you'd both get dressed to go out and just as your about to leave you'll make eye contact and one of you will say "wanna stay home and order in?" the other will reply with something along the lines of "we could sing karaoke or watch some sappy movie". You'd both be rushing to take off your shoes and just be comfortable at home.

When you do go out it's usually seokmin being hyper and you balancing him out with your chill aura. He'd be arguing with seungkwan during game night and you'd be sitting there smiling behind him.

Whenever you do get all hyper and loud during an especially intense game of mafia he'd be your #1 fan. Like "THATS MY GIRL" and if you do some crazy plot twist inspired by hoshi ofc he'd be screaming up and down (is so proud of you)

The members simultaneously love and hate seeing him so in love with you. Like you'd be all quiet and straight faced in a corner and he'd be infront of you smiling, eyes twinkling lovingly.

Wouldn't be too into pda but would occasionally hold your hand when your sitting down together. Sometimes when at a house party with all the members and their partners he'd think he was in a hidden corner and kiss you GOOD cause he just thinks you look so hot and can't not.

(Sidenote: you guys weren't hidden and seungkwan was gagging at you two)

He'd call you babe or a nickname from you real name when with other people but when you're alone or he thinks no one can hear he'll whisper "hey beautiful/love" with a twinkle in his eyes. Likes to keep the intimacy of such names something between only you and him.

When he kisses you he needs to get more than one. For example while his cooking and you walk into the kitchen he turns and gives you a peck while his hands are busy mixing the soup. Immediately after he lowers the heat and wipes his hands on cloth to pull you in again "one more beautiful" he'd whisper and kiss you with so much more passion, this one would last longer. After, he won't move though, he'd rest his forehead on yours and just breathe in your scent. "I'm making your favourite" he'd say after a while. It takes an effort for him to turn back to the simmering soup. He just can't get enough of you.

He is the most observant person you know. A subtle change in the way you feel is noticed. Whether you are getting excited or overthinking or even falling into contentment he can tell and knows what to do. If you ask him why he always seems to know what you need he replies simply "gut feeling, everytime. My stomach loves just as much as my heart" he smiles brightly. You wonder if he can tell how grateful you are to the universe for bringing him to you.

playing games with your older brothers was always fun

Falena was very talented, so wins and first place was almost always handed to him naturally

Leona would always try as hard as he could to beat Falena, but always had to settle for second

and you never had any chance trying to catch up to their abilities

Diasomnia has been playing very well these past few years, so it might be fun to watch them

so on the day of the tournament, you went to watch the games

since Diasomnia won last year, they would be up for the first game

but as the announcer started to introduce Diasomnia onto the field, the crowd around you started acting up and rushing towards the team

it was mass panic and everyone was screaming and stampeding towards the entrance of the coliseum

you got up and started to move with them, against your own will

no matter how much you tried to fight it, your body seemed to move on it's own

but you've been in Savanaclaw long enough to know who's magic this is

how Ruggie was able to control and entire stadium of people, you had no idea

but you turned to try and get back into the coliseum as soon as the spell wore off

the crowd was thick and it was hard to push through, but you had to

if the people were all being herded like sheep, something bad is happening

as you pushed through, a heavy aura of magic flooded the air

someone was certainly using a lot of magic in there

you finally made it to the entrance of the coliseum

standing in the field was Leona covering in blot and fighting many Heartslabyul students

even now, he was looking down upon everyone in front of him with such hatred and anger

not even Ruggie was spared from his attacks

but you got there just as the battle was ending, and Leona was defeated

the blot left his system and he collapsed to the ground

he was fine

for a brief moment, Ruggie saw you and stared

but Leona wouldn't want you here, even now

so you left without a word

you didn't end up going back to the tournament after that, but it went well from what you heard

Savanaclaw even made it pretty far considering everything that happened

Cheka ended up finding you after it all and you got to play with the little cub

to be honest it was a lot of fun, probably the most you've had in a while

sadly, he left you after a while to go find Leona

the days followed after that were pretty normal

...except for the fact that Ruggie was following you around more

he watched whatever you did throughout the day, and then left

but the one day he didn't follow you, you found Leona waiting for you in Savanaclaw with a chess game set up, and waiting for another player

So I got this idea while reading some self aware au fics...where reader is taken from the human world and brought into the cookie world.

The reader, a selfless workaholic, was working like always but then gets taken into the world of cookies! They were surprised they ended up in the cookie run world and decide to try their best in this amazing new world they loved, ready to work hard for the cookies to keep em happy and so on....buuuut that's when they discover how much the cookies love em. They start doing everything for y/n so that way y/n could finally rest and relax. You can go crazy with whatever scenarios you want of y/n trying to do stuff for the cookies buuut cookies stop y/n so y/n stops working or of cookies spoiling the hell out of y/n. Like cookies do their best to make sure y/n is happy, safe and relaxed. Also throw in whatever cookies encounters and stuff you want!

Another long day of work… you rested your head before feeling a vibration from your phone. It was a coworker… asking if you could take their shift…. Again…

Ugh… did they not see that you were tired? But you couldn’t say no… you just couldn’t…

You had some time before having to return to work so you scrolled through the App Store until you came across a cute game franchise called Cookie Run. You decided to buy three of the games, the one that caught your attention was Cookie Run: Kingdom.

It was so charming, the way you could interact with the cookies and decorate your own kingdom was so nice, and in over a month you had gotten all the cookies and decors, which sounds a little crazy but this game was kinda like your escape from your job.

But with this you had gotten very very fatigued. You couldn’t remember when the last time you had a proper meal… or a full night of sleep… or when you saw your family last… or when you didn’t have to work… or when your friends talked to you last…

You were practically on the verge of breaking down, the only thing’s keeping you from going insane was the silly cookie games on your phone.

Now… you might’ve been going crazy but you swear that the cookies were talking to… like directly. It could be sleep deprivation making you hear things but it was still very odd.

But you might’ve hit a breaking point. You finally passed out. You had just gotten a notice that you were getting evicted from your apartment and you didn’t really have anything so all you did was clean up any trash that was left around, and by the time you were done it was midnight and your boss had the AUDACITY to ask you to do even more work… at that point you passed out. Either from exhaustion or stress it was probably both tbh

…

But when you woke up you weren’t in your apartment.. you were in a comfortable bed.. that had… candy like details…? You tried to get up and out of the bed but someone quickly jumped up and had you lay back down.

“Please son’t sit up too fast! You’re exhausted. You shouldn’t be moving too much, here let me get you some food, just wait here…” A gentle voice told you…. It was also familiar…

The person returned and set a tray right next to the bed, you saw that they looked familiar…

“I hope your not in any pain… I’m Strawberry Cookie by the way…” Strawberry Cookie spoke “Please just try to relax…”

You tried to speak but your throat hurt a lot… like to an unnatural degree.. but you were quite hungry so you decided to take a bite out of one the the star jellies i front of you. Now when you took a bite… something clicked in your head.

You thought you were dreaming but this felt way to real… the bed.. the food.. everything was too real.

And the realized you felt sore.. not just your throat hurt, everything hurt. You went to rub your temples but your skin felt less oily and more… doughy..?

You wanted answers and Strawberry Cookie was aware of this, so she started to speak once more.

“…I know your probably really confused about what’s happening and I am too… but it’s important for you to not get up and move around… your dough is still getting used to the temperature..”

Dough… what…? What was happening…?

“Just… please don’t stress to much… try to relax… please..?”

Strawberry Cookie try’s to make sure your feeling alright and gets you food

Gingerbrave tells you what’s currently happening in EarthBread and, you kinda knew what was happening but hearing it more in detail was a little frightening

Wizard Cookie tries to understand how someone your age could have dough as soft as your- and by soft I mean dough like.

And Custard Cookie the lll just talks about how he’s going to be a great prince king and how fun some of the adventures he’s been on!

But out of all of them, the one thing they had in common was making sure you didn’t get up to do anything

You physically cannot do anything without someone making a fuss over it

Epic & Cross x Reader

Cross doesn't like fighting Epic since they are pretty close but this doesn't stop him from getting competitive.

Epic, on the other hand, loves play fighting and competing with Cross! He's not aggressive about it, he just does it for fun.

Cross is usually trying to prove himself worthy of your affection in some way while Epic just likes flirting and making you laugh.

Epic is surprisingly good at flirting but often settles for making you laugh because he loves it so much.

Sometimes Epic flirts with cross too just to fuck with him lmaoo - Cross is always baffled and a mess when it happens. Its pretty funny to watch tbh.

Most people assume youre a polycule. Epic doesnt help dispel that with his flirting. I mean a poly relationship could probably work.

You will never know alone time again if you don't set those boundaries. They're both Clingy!!

Given the chance, Cross will escort you everywhere - hes like your own personal bodygaurd. (You dont know how he knows your schedule so well or how he finds you so easily when going out.)

Epic also shows up a lot. Hes usually the one initiating lunch & dinner dates between y'all. Well, its not obvious theyre dates but they basically are, lmao.

They do try to one up each other but you'll next to never see them fight. You may catch them bickering about who did better, though. Epic likes instigating and Cross can be sassy.

They may have a fight about you once. Other than that they are chill because they're so close and Epic often gets Cross to communicate.

The fight would probably be mostly on Cross. He would get mad that he fell for someone his best friend likes. He would be upset that he "couldn't have someone himself" both because he feels guilty about Epic and for personal issues (he's lost a lot). Then he'd be mad that he thought that way and felt jealous. He wouldn't like how selfish he feels. Epic talks him through it, though. And talks some sense into him :]

Cross may be quiet most of the time but he is hanging around more often than not. He's just sort of ... supervising lol. Its comforting in an odd way. He likes the quality time too.

Sometimes Epic gets you alone, though. He gets you two to do relaxing things together like a picnic or video games.

He can be surprisingly tender and romantic but he will ruin it with a joke after surprising you or flustering you with the romance so cherish the moment while you can. Good luck, too. ;P

Cross is a mixed bag. One moment he's purposely suave and dashing then the next he cant get a sentence out . Its like he has moments of clarity then goes back to being a dork.

On a few occasions they will team up on you. I don't think they would really plan it unless it was your birthday or something special like that. When they do it it's usually just an accident and their moods synced to cause chaos.

When they team up they are menaces! Epic would be all gentle and romantic with flirty, witty remarks while Cross would be the type to guide you by the small of your back, leaning in to tell you things. And you know he'd be saying stuff like he's your personal knight! "I'll always be there for you." || "if you ever need anything just come to me, I'll take care of you." And shit like that.

Augh they would have you cornered but like in a good way. Cross always behind you, making sure you're safe while Epic leads you around by the hand. I hate them. I actually love them damn it.

Sometimes they get needy and steal you away for a while. The dorks.

Epic "kidnaps" you to cuddle up somewhere and read or watch a movie. He's very touchy (respectfully) so if you're okay with it he will be all over you. He especially loves it if you act as his weighted blanket and lay on him.

Cross gets grouchy and takes you somewhere on an "adventure". Most of the time it'll be somewhere without people. If the place has rough terrain he'll likely try to convince you to let him carry you lol. "You got it?" / "you tired?" / "want help?" Any reason to be close or touching you if you'll allow it.

If you're more of a low and mellow energy person he'll set up a special spot where he sets up stuff for one of your hobbies (if he can) somewhere hidden and will hang out with you.

Stars forbid you give only one of them a gift. They won't guilt you or be mean, but they will rub it in the others face subtly. If they're the one who didnt get something then Epic would jokingly act all clingy and pouty while Cross glares at him. Speaking of, Cross would stand closer than normal and Low-key pout if he didn't get something. Like a cat who wants something from you.

If you're the more affectionate, touchy type then you're going to likely always have one of them touching you if they're around. Epic practically hangs off of you while Cross just has a hand on you somehow. They have probably scent marked you, accidentally or not. They just clingy bois.

Also - not in a kinky way - but Cross has a high chance of biting you during prolonged physical contact lol. It's just a quirk of his. Its like cuteness aggression but in a loving way. You can think of it as kisses it a way.

He wouldn't mention it if you dont but it is a good way to fluster him >:3c

As for trying to be better than each other i think they would choose some things you like and try to be "the best" at it?? Like... lets say you collect shells. Suddenly they are finding great shells - in tact and pretty - and giving them to you. Same with trinkets. Or finding weird coffee mugs if you like those.

Epic also is that bitch who has a lot of money and just sugar daddies his friends LMAOO. You want that expensive thing? Dont worry bby hes got it kcjsbsbsb. If hes crushing on you it just gets worse and more ridiculous.

Cross is the one who has dedication to getting you things. So if something is about timing or searching hard for it he's the one to go to. He also just brings you random things like a bird..?? You dont even know where he gets half the stuff he shows up with. You may even just find stuff on a table in your house randomly.

Also, for no apparent reason, kareoke becomes a thing between y'all. You have no choice /j

Honestly I was originally planning on having only 2 ocs specifically because I wanted one to kill the other in order to maintain the same group of survivors in the end lmao. I'm still trying to fully work out the setup and inevitable execution because the plot writing for dr2 is really tight and well progressed imo, so I feel like adding anything would weaken it-

BUT I'm also just having fun and being silly so I know it doesn't have to be perfect it just needs to let me have fun really lmao

I'll add a readmore but I'll ramble about each of them a little if anyone has any interest

First up is the first one I made, Haruka (forgive all of their basic bitch Japanese names, I can't do the fun wordplay to the level I wish) they're the ultimate ballerina, and by extension also nonbinary kind of feminine leaning androgynous but can be masc if needed because they can do any kind of role required of them for a performance

When they're tossed into the dr2 mix they'd probably be found being a third wheel to the dynamic duo that is Akane and Nekomaru, since they're also technically more athletic and would be stretching and practicing every day. I want to sit down sometime and draw them and Akane engaged in a flexibility battle and Kazuichi walking in on them and screeching because they look so creepy

Haruka is planned to be a murderer and I'll definitely get some drawings out once I flesh out my concepts for their execution more

Next up is Nao! She's the ultimate sharpshooter and yes that is a little vague but it's because this includes bows and such on top of typical guns. Hell, she probably even does well with throwing stuff if there's enough focus

With the dr2 cast she'd be mostly a friend to Ibuki and Kazuichi, their eccentricities are endearing to her, plus if either of them just want to ramble about something they're working on she's gonna listen for hours. Honestly they're such a movie night squad to me. Also post game I feel like she's like a girl in the same way I still see Kazuichi a guy, like in the vaguest terms cuz they're both just Themselves and are gonna have fun with it now since they're apart from society. Ibuki isn't included only since I feel like she'd struggle less, but this is the bi/pan gender fuckery trifecta of the group to me

Oh yeah and Haruka kills her. I've got the death already planned out and ideally I wanna do a cg style emulation for it but idk if I can swing it lmao I'm not very good at style emulation tbh

And last but not least is Tōru. I didn't plan on her existing so idk how I'm gonna get rid of her in time for the end hmm. But she's the ultimate tattoo artist and has the most fleshed out backstory of the three but it's embarrassing and I know it LMAO

Basic run down- and stick with me here- she lives with family that work under the Kuzuryu clan, so she's done a lot of sick yakuza tats, partially because of her skill and mostly because this shit is so good that her tattoos have like, an "aura" that influences the viewer a little. So these dudes have extra intimidating tattoo bullshit going on- BUT ANYWAYS so things start and she can recognize Fuyuhiko and Peko and knows what's up with them, but neither of them have officially met her so she's like "oh thank fuck they have no idea that I know who they are I'm gonna avoid these assholes like the PLAGUE"

But of course that won't hold forever but it just makes me laugh like chapter 3 Fuyuhiko trying desperately to be kinder to everyone like "yeah, maybe I'll see if you're good enough to tattoo me some day" and she's choking on her drink because Haha About That-

But yeah hopefully I can rope one of my friends into having their oc knock her off because I think that would be funny like, getting down on one knee please kill my oc tragically

general opinion:

i think they're neat together! a lot of people are reluctant to ship them together romantically which is like, fair enough etc but it feels like that'd be overlooking their potential for both chaos for the sake of chaos (fun!) and true tenderness between two people who generally might feel pretty misunderstood and isolated from the rest of the team for various reasons (also fun!).

because theyre both on offensive roles i can see them interacting regularly On The Job as well which is always great to write imo.

headcanons:

i generally think scout and pyro are close friends even before becoming romantically involved or whatever...

i like the idea of scout being a bit scared of pyro at first because they're a big question mark, but because scout is this person who finds any challenge worth his time he takes it upon himself to be The First Who Befriends That Weirdo (affectionate).

he'll learn how to decipher pyro's mumbling and learn sign language (which also helps on the battlefield where it's often loud!).

scout is of course extremely curious about what's under the mask but he doesn't pry. none of his business. but if pyro ends up revealing themselves you know he'll be like 👀👀👀

pyro's just glad someone's willing to stick around with them! they don't mind being a loner but like, company is always nice.

they probably also feel pretty >:) about scout—this big talker jock and generally annoying dickhead—being actually nice to them. the power they hold over him... i reckon they feel pretty good about it.

scout strikes me as a romantic regardless of who he's paired up with, and pyro seems like a cuddler so i think their relationship as Lovers would be soooo sweet... inseparable and always goofing around and laughing and pulling (sometimes VERY dangerous) pranks on their teammates.

anyway scout checks in on his own bc he doesnt want pyro's Appearance to alarm the reception lady (little does he know that the lady would think absolutely NOTHING of it, she's seen worse, she's been workin this reception desk for 30 years you know), grabs the key and then gets both him and pyro in.

i think as soon as they get in they jump on the beds like trampolines because The Urge To Have Fun is too strong lmao.

i feel like they first sleep separately but then scout maybe notices pyro having bad dreams or tossing and turning so he just ends up snuggling up with pyro to comfort them :) or it could be the other way around if you want really, i think neither of them is truly free from insomnia, night terrors, and PTSD lol.

After The Storm

Centurion Follower Event Special (March 1-25) warnings: Topics/discussions could be triggering for some, this is a bit angsty but overall bittersweet. Also slight spoiler for Chp. 6 Berry: Thank you so muuuch! This was a very different request from the others so it was pretty fun thinking and writing for this. What helped me what listening to the song Just A Man from Epic The Musical (I've seen so many TWST vids on Tiktok about it so hehe)

Tbh, what should happen or be shown in-game is that all of these bois have some serious therapy. At the very least have an intimate/serious convo with people they're comfortable sharing to cuz there is a LOT of baggage

I see Azul as the type to perfect and focus more on recovering himself quickly and/or 'perfectly' if you will. Trying to show everyone that he knows the actions of his consequences and is willing to take the steps to better himself. HOWEVER. He forgets or rather avoids certain things

I see that there would be days or even weeks where Azul would avoid any mirror or reflection up until he accidentally checked on himself to fix his uniform. Brief flashbacks of both his past and memories during his rampage would come rushing in.

In all honesty, I see Azul swiftly excusing himself from the Mostro lounge just to cry or to huddle himself in the corner of his room and contemplate about it. Telling himself to get better quick or his other plans would hinder.

In the coming days, he DOES get better, became more generous, more kinder and overall much more open to things that go about his day. However, there will always be a small hiccup within the day where he couldn't stand the man he saw in the mirror or how constricting his pants feel or even how his notes don't look right.

He'd probably have mountains of books, tabs on his laptop about getting self-help or psychology 101 to fix this issue. But in all honesty, Azul would probably give in and talk maybe to Jade or even Idia through bits and pieces. They might not be the best choice at the matter but he values their thoughts when he needs it the most <3

Jamil's recovery would be the hardest in my opinion. Jamil is rather complex and difficult to really dissect. He'd get back up and go to work. He's the stubborn fool that would busy himself, making it up to everyone by doing more tasks, more chores to prove that he's reliable.

Jamil would be the type to ignore the whispers and side glances at him as he walks by the halls and his dorm. It wouldn't really get to him as like what I've said before, it would drive him to work even more, avoiding to really take care and acknowledge that part of him that needs rest

The only way I could see him getting some semblance of peace is at night. Late at night where everyone is fast asleep, tucked a way in his room either in his dorm outfit or in his sleepwear. He'd close his eyes as he listens to his playlist and let music calm the million thoughts running though his mind everyday.

Jamil keeps his recovery to himself, behind closed doors. He doesn't want anyone ESPECIALLY Kalim to worry about him. He wants to resolve this thing through his own terms because then at least, he's in control of this one thing. Everything and everyone gives him order or they control him.

He doesn't mean to push people away because of this. He just wanted freedom. He wanted something that's entirely HIM. Maybe later on after the events of chp 5 and 6, he'd warm up to the idea of talking about his true feelings to Kalim and eventually to other people.

It's becoming a pattern with all of the other people who overblotted that they most often than not, just brush things off like they didn't just traumatized half of the school. Idia probably being the most infuriating one cuz he's the most stubborn ones out of the bunch.

Idia would handle his recovery by also busying himself similar to Jamil. The only difference is that I'd see him just playing games as a distraction to avoid thinking about it and understanding the weight of what he just went through. He shuts himself down already so in a way to cope with that is by distracting himself with pretty graphics and intense gameplay.

Though he can't really escape it, he'd play a game and his memories would be triggered all because there'd be a fight/cutscene similar to what happened in the Isle of Lamentation. He'd freeze and lose the match all while the eyebags underneath his eyes becoming all too heavy for him.

This would probably happen in the early days after the whole thing, he'd get frustrated, get easily worked up as he tries even more distractions. I also see him late in the night, staring up at the ceiling, not really sleeping but not really awake to do anything either.

One way I could see this ending a good note is that he'd ask Ortho for ideas on how to combat this within himself as well as to heal his bond with his brother. Since they have their shared love for games and tech, I'd want to see the both of them create a small therapy simulation AI. In a way they could still treat it as any other game and at the same time, the two of them get the help they need and deserve.

Michael Afton designs. Cause- I can ✌️ also apologies on any mess-ups to the games. I don't really care about the new stuff tbh, haven't been in this Fandom for years, am relying on theory videos- and headcannons. So yeah, cool Afton designs is what I mean.

1st design- Teenage design. I don't have a very inparticular age? But around 14-16. Also- he's very mature for his age, and is one of those guys that are like "wtf? How are you not an adult?" But, I headcannon he was actually the one who you play as in FNAF 4. I heard it from my sibling- and loved the damn idea that it was his own nightmares because of what happened to his brother- especially given the context of the game. William basically left him since he hated him, and was forced into a hell like FNAF 4. Also in the bottom image- he's supposed to look ghost like. Never goes outside, stays in his room an anxious mess.

Design 2- (I meant Fredbear in the art lol.) Anyway, this design is supposed to look like William around the time of the bite of 83' but ofc ofc still Michael. Michael is okay. But, this is the extra night of FNAF 2 when the main security guard leaves to be the next victim of the biting season. This is where he starts to get extremely guilty again, and where he builds his obsession to the opening FNAF restaurants to try and fix his past, to fix what his father did, and to try and redeem himself. In this era he also begins frequently writing letters to his brother, as if he could see them. Because he sincerely wants to make things right.

Designs 3- Fnaf 1 and sister location era. All before the scoop. For FNAF 1, he wears a simular outfit to FNAF 2- Just a more purplish- shade of blue. He's also growing his hair out- trying to look less like his father, due to his pure resentment. He is succeeding a little more now. Though, in sister location he wears a purple uniform, and ends up in a simular look that his father was so generously killing kids in (other than suit. Michael doesn't look like a bunny thing, sorry guys.) Also fun little fact, he joins these jobs to redeem himself- but is scared shitless of animatronics.

DISTURBING IMAGERY AHEAD. BODY HORROR!!

Design 4- Basic idea of half a year or so of recovery. After lots of surgeries and medical attention, he looks a little better. He still has some wire in his body, mainly in parts that were very attached to his body (just ripped off of Ennard) and was left behind in places that keep his body together. (Wire runs along his stomach/chest and skin attaches there to keep him closed. Wire replaces his knee so he can still walk, and other wire was just pulled. Lots of scar tissue is present where any stitches are, or any places Ennard poked out from/entered from. His eyes were popped out by Ennard, leaving him blind and more or less with no "pupil." He is also able to grow very thin hair, but it falls out and is rather short.

Design 5- You can steal Michael's hair. He wears a wig that was the same colour as his past hair, and wears that whenever he is out/working. He wears a lot of looser clothes to avoid skin irritation- considering his skin falls off easily (also wears a ton of bandages around his body to prevent this.) In public he adds a mask to his look, some of his face being ripped up. Due to his look and practically dead body, he is unable to age normally. He'll have a simular appearance the rest of his life, maybe with a few more wrinkles and a load of weakness. Now, he is starting to move on. He's still extremely sorry, but he writes letters to Evan everyday. He also visits his grave, bringing the fredbear plush Evan had. Ofc he still wants revenge, but is more at peace about his brother. (He still hates his father. Badly.)

Gokudera isn't exactly super openly affectionate or romantic. He is pragmatic and when he is romantic it is a rare, but genuine moment just between them. While he doesn't have a special nickname, he does sometimes call Rena "tesoro" (itl. treasure) and has refered to her as a sun or glowing star, though never to her face.

2. do you and your f/o share any hobbies? what are they? do you see one another as rivals, collaborators, something else?

Rena and Hayato are competitive spirits and often get into little competitions with each other that usually hold either no stakes but their pride, or chores and small gifts. It's never harsh enough that Dera becomes seriously upset over a loss (he actually really appreciates that she can give him a run for his money), but it's also never completely trivial. These competitions can range from who gets to a place first, to directly facing off in a video or card game (especially with poker and other games where you have to keep your reactions in check Rena usually has the upper hand due to her knowledge in acting and directing, being able to pick up on the subtlest of changes in Gokuderas demeanor, who still has a hard time keeping his emotions in check).

Interestingly enough when it comes to hobbies they diverge a bit. Rena loves to be creative, her work at the theater is incredibly fullfilling to her, so she spends a lot of time going to see different plays and reads new pieces. Hayato is also very creative, but his creativity leans more towards the engineering and constructing. In that they are supportive with and towards each other, but don't necesarily always partake in the others interest. However they both are interested in the supernatural, with Rena being a scaredy cat that is mostly into mythology and the occult while Hayato is more interested in cryptids and extraterestrials. Hayato likes going ghost hunting or cryptid hunting and once in a while he can persuade Rena to tag along though not without promising up and down that he won't scare her on purpose and that he'll protect her if anything does happen.

One hobby they do participate in together is movie nights. They switch up who picks the movie and each one of them has a chance to veto a pick. They both enjoy watching all kinds of movies and talk about them, dissecting story, special and practical effects, character writing and acting, directing- they can both contribute their own knowledge to these talks which are even more enjoyable to them than the movies themselves.

4. where are your favorite places to go with your f/o? what’s your favorite part of that place, or the time you spend together there?

When it comes to favourite places to be at then there come only 3 to mind. First is Renas apartment. It's a small 2 room flat with an open kitchen, a big livingroom with a narrow balcony and a small bedroom. It's cozy but not claustrophobic and Hayato stays over a few times. After a very eventful day it's nice to flop onto the sofa and watch a movie together.

Then there is one of Renas favourite cafes. It's in a sidestreet of the city, rather small and has a bit of a maritime country-chic flair with exceptionally good coffee and cake. They don't usually house big groups or many people so it never feels cramped and or overwhealming when it comes to the surounding noise.

Last but definitely not least is the westpark. It's close to the Residence where the Neo Vongola stay in italy and is often place of performances by Renas theater group Mosaico. It's a nice small park with one half of the park being mostly greenspace for people to chill on and the other being a bit more groomed, layed out and romantic with benches and grenery tunnels.

How to Make Your Game More Interesting:

Intro: Hello all, Really quickly, I'd like to introduce myself. I have been playing the sims 2 since release when I was quite young, and still play 20 years later. In playing for 20 years, I have read the prima guides like they were the guides to my personal religion. I have deep dived into all the lore, and gone through more than a person who is not a dev should in this game. I've played too much. I've done too much. I also regularly peruse sims 2 subreddits, watch the sims 2 on youtube and generally seem to have made the sims 2 my life (writing this out, I'm feeling a little sad but... worth it). The main thing I see REGULARLY when reading comments and posts on reddit or the youtube comment section is that people generally don't know how to make their game interesting. Why? Well, it seems like generally people get very attached to their sims (same tbh) and don't want to cause chaos, or don't know how to cause chaos. My fun fact: I used to be just like you. Yes you, the person reading this is who is stuck in the loop of creating one perfect family after another and getting bored. I chronically made families of sims with the LTW of Fortune and Family who loved each other deeply, who had perfect A+ children, who succeeded in everything they did... sims who became stale. (how boring!) That was until I decided to use the skills I have learned through reading books, watching soap-opera-y shows, intense movies, and attempting to write my own novels to good use. This is where we come to part of what you came here for. Golden Rules: Rule #1. No good story has a main character who isn't flawed. Creating flawed sims is my main rule; if you had to leave this blog with one thing it's this: make flawed sims. Now, this doesn't mean all sims should be Romance sims or have a Romance secondary aspiration, but rather giving your sims "human qualities". Example: A sim with "anger issues", a sim who always chooses the wrong type of sims to date, a sim who is struggling with their sexuality, AN EVIL SIM. The list can go on. You can do this with your imagination and interactions in-game. You can also download wonderful mods like: Traits Project. This mod will help you create more dynamic sims without needing to think too much about it (OR thinking a lot about it, and adding the traits manually to really build your character). As you can see, there are tons of ways to create flawed sims. I ask you to be inspired by characters from the entertainment you enjoy consuming. You'd be surprised in how many little ways you can make a sim interesting and build a story around them. - A side note in this section: never underestimate a good "mid-life crisis". Quitting a job, gambling addiction, a new romantic interest, shopping addiction, arguing with a partner etc. The possibilities are endless. Rule #2. When in doubt, don't be afraid to take a sim out. No, I don't mean for a night out on the town... Here's the thing, sometimes your sim rolls boring wants regularly, seems to serve little to no purpose, and gives you the general feeling that there isn't much going on behind those pixelated eyes. Regardless of whether or not you like the sim you're thinking of in this moment, it's time to use them to drive the plot or create character development for your other playables. *Grim enters stage left* Never underestimate the storytelling tool that involves making your sim a ghost. Now, with that being said - we all enjoy occasionally letting the intrusive thoughts win when it comes to introducing your sim to the grim reaper; but we can't forget one of the main rules in storytelling plot drivers. You cannot off a character "just because". We must have reason, and this is where we can get really creative. Maybe your sim secretly really dislikes their so-called "perfect life". Maybe they just happen to hike in the desert, during the summer, with their needs really low... Maybe they fall asleep while making family dinner... MAYBE they take a little nightly swim while tired and seem to forget where that pesky pool ladder went.

There are tons of ways you can use these ideas and use it to drive your plot forward. Subjecting their loved ones to the reprocussions of their loss. It is here that I can't fail to mention that while random death can be important; as well as heart breaking. Here are a few ways I make random death possible in my game that I think are great: - Death By Childbirth - More Dangerous Fire - Real Sickness

The big thing I would like to reiterate, is to make sure that if it is not random, and completely your choice as the player, either send them off to the simulated great beyond for passion or pleasure. *Passion would be to move a plot forward, cause chaos, create a character arc for a sim or family, etc. *Pleasure would be just because it makes you happy to have more graves in your cemetary. you're a tad evil aren't you, you little minx. Rule #3. You Can't Always Get What You Want... but if you try sometimes, well, you just might find *you get what you need* Now, as you might have guessed: I am a semi-wants based player. You may be wondering "what that means?" What that means indeed, little friend. Semi-Wants Based Playstyle essentially boils down to: I try to achive almost everything my sim wants to do - but only if I like it for them. Also, sometimes your sim may not "want" something per se, but you've decided that you want to do it and don't want to wait for them to tell you they want to do it. This means, if my family sim decides that maybe they are more or just as attracted to their neighbour as they are their spouse and run a want to flirt with them... we may ruin a marriage or keep a deep dark secret, OR I will feel like it is too far out of left field for this particular sim and chose to ignore it completely. I go off ~vibes~ and suggest you try that too. Story time: I have the "Death by Childbirth" mod in my game. Two of my sims that we're romance sims lived together as a polyamourous couple sharing the sims they brought home. One day the female and male sims did an autonomous woohoo (thank you ACR), and fell pregnant wups. During that pregnancy, though, I noticed them be cute and close and... not have wants for other sims? I thought it was interesting and intended to maybe make them secondary family sims... until my female sim died during childbirth. Now, I could have gone two ways: 1. let the game be as it was and have the male sim be a single dad, or 2. use some cheats and get the resurrect o nomitron. The female sim who died was in the paranormal career, so I figured "why not! DO IT FOR THE PLOT." I resurrected her and decided that both sims underwent such a significant change that they may have also changed their outlooks on life, and changed their LTW. However, I always made it part of their story that while at first things would be good... at one point they would begin to feel like maybe family life wasn't really what they wanted or thought it would be. 3 children later (he wanted it), my female sim is going stir crazy; just wants to make friends and go to work and find the *more* that she knows is out there; my male sim is feeling very alone and like his wife isn't really there for him and his eye is beginning to wander... Who knows what will happen. What I'm trying to (and hopefully) get at here is this: The sims is YOUR game. Your sandbox. While it is fun to create chaos for chaos' sake, don't be afraid to do what YOU want. That's what makes the game enjoyable overall. So yes, maybe something bad happens to a sim, you have the complete ability to turn it around, as long as it what? Say it with me kids: "PrOgReSsEs ThE pLoT." That is what makes interesting gameplay/storytelling. you can really tell my creative writing teachers drilled something into my brain... but what was it? Rule #4. Jump Around! I know not everyone is a rotational player, nor is playing rotationally for everyone. I do, of course, think it's great (however you do it). I don't think it's a *must* to enjoy the game, though. I do stand on the hill that believes that some amount of "changing it up" is important. Once again, everyone is different, so find what you need or speaks to you in this section; but here are some things I do to make sure that I don't get burnt out.

Part 1. "Traditional" Rotational Gameplay: I play for the full EA/Maxis length season (5 days) with each family. You can do more or less. I also play in a pretty regular rotation that only gets changed based on circumstance. For example, if the family breaks apart, the moved family gets played after the original family.

Part 2. I build and/or upgrade all my lots slowly. Whenever I get the itch or inspiration to build I run with it. I usually get the feeling when it's beginning to be necessary in my game. Sometimes you need a coffee shop for a date… then a restaurant… then you think: wow my sims can meet more people at a bar. I build based off my wants and my gameplay needs. With that being said, I also love making my own hoods and slowly building up the town are more sims join the rotations (kinda like a BACC, but not really).

Part 3. I am never opposed to moving sims into a different house/location or simply sending them off on a vacation. Maybe even making sure they leave the house for more mundane reasons. When was the last time you took your kid to the park, you monster? You'd be surprised on how refreshing it can be. Also, how realistic. Gone are the days where your sim lived in the same home from College to Elderhood. Gone are the days where your sim never used their vacation days. Gone are they days where your sim only ever knew the four walls you built around them. Hopefully with doors and windows... but maybe not.. Rule #5. Remember Who You Are, SIMba. Keep in mind that the sims truly is your game. Your imagination. Your little world. You can make it as perfect or as chaotic as you want. As someone who's roots are in "the perfect sim/family" type gameplay, I always allow at least 1 if not 2-3 families who fit that bill somehow, to keep my little heart happy. (Another great idea for you comes from the movie "Don't Worry Darling": think of a town where everything is the 1950's vision of perfect - but everyone *is* happy... until... and fill in the blank as you go.) I digress, you can try out any/all these rules. You can even take inspiration from my game or ideas I layed out in this first ever post here, but at the end of the day, you will always be you. The Sims will always be your game. Don't be afraid to try things, don't be afraid to be your real and truest self. For some of you that means a town of insane sims wearing chicken costumes, and for others that might be trying to actually create the perfect town/family (I challenge you to make sure they have not 1 bad memory). I use they/them pronouns and I’m pansexual. my myers briggs type is INFJ and my star sign is taurus.

Im about 4’11..not to happy about it. I’m kind of introverted, and can be considered not a people person. I find life a little nihilistic. I’m into dressing in all black (trad, mopey, mall, black-metal, and hippie goth styles mainly, both fem and masc. chill days I settle for dark street wear. ) or and taking a liking to gruesome and morbid things like slashers, analog horror, witchcraft, true crime, ghost hunting, necromancy, anatomy, etc. I typically consider myself a "gorehound" ig. I participate in "Vulture Culture"; and I also like to visit abandoned places just for fun, along with playing quite a few escape rooms. I’ve also been trying to start a knife collection, but can’t ever seem to find the money to. (Butterfly knives and ritual daggers are my favorites.). I just have a genuine comfort in the uncomfortable.

I’ve come to the conclusion I just scare people off. In reality, I’m intimidated by everyone around me and find it hard to start talking, which may or may not come off as rude to people.

when I become comfortable with someone I start to become really sarcastic and joke around with them with witty banter. most of my humor comes off really insulting, and I’m brutally honest, but I’ll apologize and say it’s a joke or I didn’t mean it. though if I’m right a become a petty bitch..and quite honestly I’m vengeful to anyone who’s really wronged me. even though I do have a hard time understanding social cues.

lots of people don’t like me or stay away from me because of my rude behavior. I’m not good with overly sensitive or overly annoying people at all because of that, and I can’t stand kids or conformists. Idiocy can get on my nerves too sometimes. I’m a huge animal person though, and I own a herd of four guinea pigs that I protect with my life. I have my moments where I can get really feisty, or very quiet and closed off. I’ve been told I’m also a laidback person. I’ve also been told I never know when to quit, and I find I hold grudges for certain things. It’s not as common now but I used to get called a vampire by other kids when I was younger since I had oddly pointy canine teeth. I find it funny, seeing how I am today. I also have an inside joke with my family where they call me "Irl Wednesday Addams" which I find funny too (if not a little annoying at the wrong times).

I’m the type of person that has lots of opinions on things but I keep them to myself and bottle them up. If pushed far enough I’ll become unforgiving, and aggressive. especially with the types of people mentioned above.

I find the most comfort in just being in my room drawing, listening to music ( the cure, london after midnight, type o negative, deftones, slipknot, rob zombie,,,, sometimes melanie martinez , insane clown posse, jazmin bean or mother mother, etc. ), or even occasionally playing video games, reading, writing, or talking about a random conspiracy theory or shower thoughts I have. I also like to play D&D with my friends when I can, it’s super fun. I’m an actor and dancer, and I’m learning how to play electric guitar. I mostly work as a scare actor, and in the future I have a dream of being a broadway actor. I also take dance and singing classes for it, though dance isn’t as interesting to me.

I’m a plushie maniac and when I fall asleep you can always see me cuddled up to one of them. I find it because I’m really touch starved. I also have this specific blanket I can literally not sleep without. Im also a caffeine addict (97% of my body is just iced coffee tbh), and I’m guilty of being very submissive and maybe even masochistic- and a bit of a pyromaniac. I dissociate or daydream a lot, so you can often catch me starring.

I suffer from a handful off mental issues like asd, hypersomnia, depression and anxiety; plus chronic conditions like gerd, asthma and hypoglycemia. These have all been diagnosed professionally, and I’m definitely not trying to make myself "quirky". unfortunately health problems run in my family.

I’m very fidgety, and often bite the inside of my cheek or bounce my leg rapidly. you don’t need to rocmantasize this stuff ofc, but I think it’s good to know so the person can tolerate me.

Starting with Metal Family, I've decided to match you with Lif!

I feel like you two would just click instantly. Between the style, the music, the niche interests. I like to think that you two would just spend so much time together listening to true crime podcasts, going to cemeteries, searching for animal skulls, etc. I head cannon she loves to make little jewelry out of bones too so I'm sure that would be an adorable date idea! Not to mention going urbexing together. I feel like she would never have went to any abandon places until she met you, but once you take her once, shes absolutely hooked. Loves sketching abandoned scenery while you're out exploring too.

Y'all definitely share clothes. It's a given. Considering I head cannon, and have seen many others head cannon Lif to be on the spectrum of non-binary, i feel she likes to be masculine somedays and feminine the next. Not to mention, she'd definitely see sharing clothes as a form of bond between you guys. Kinda a way to show that she wants to look or smell like you, if that makes sense?

Lif is definitely on the taller side though, so she actually thinks it's adorable that you're on the shorter side, even if you don't like it. It also gives her a little power boost when you start to act submissive.

Lif doesn't like coffee, shes an avid tea drinker, but i think after you get together she'd learn to make iced coffee just how you like it <3

OH MY GOSH you ever see that trend going around where you sit there and try and paint each other? You two definitely have to do that. Both of you draw, so it's just a given. You probably do it without even realizing its a thing going on right now.

Oh you poor unfortunate soul. UH so, here's the thing I sat here for a good few HOURS trying to wrack my brain for which to choose, but every time I wrote something for Kanata, I'd have a head cannon for Azusa. And then I realized...they're psychotic vampires, they're going to be trying to steal you from each other??? They aren't going to respect that the other one has you, so why choose one? You may not be poly (I actually have no idea if you are, so if you're strictly monogamous feel free to make the final decision!) but then again, if you've watched this show, you know they kinda do whatever the hell they want so-

Definitely have some fucked up agreement to share. After stealing you from each other a few times, they just kinda have this little routine going. Sometimes, if you're lucky one will visit so you have all three of you hanging out. They definitely balance each other out. Whereas Kanata is the dominant, loud, kind of psycho, Azusa is the submissive, quiet, kind. Kanata, ever the sadist, will give you all of your masochistic desires, and Azusa will help you start a knife collection just like he has! It's a win-win! Even if Kanata's tantrums might annoy everyone-

Considering you like plushies though, you're allowed to hold Teddy. BUT ONLY when he says you can. And if you even think about mentioning him being kind for once, he'll throw a fit and tear him out of your hands. The little brat-

Azusa however, is more...tame? No, that's not the right word. He's just less neurotic. You two probably study anatomy together for funsies. Will ask you to cut him, but if you help him out, he'll do the same for you in return no biggie, even if he does feel a little guilt about hurting you. But only a little.

Two vampires sharing you though, you're probably drinking so much coffee. The blood loss definitely makes you fatigued. It's adorable too, Kanata hates coffee, but he secretly made you some one time and pretended it wasn't him. It tasted horrible, but it was the thought that counts. Too bad he's never sweet for long.

Duet with Kanata??? His soft voice probably sounds so nice with yours? He'll yell at you though if you overshadow his own voice-

And Azusa's cuddling? He's actually so good at it. Despite all the bandages and the cold body he has, he's so good at physical touch once he finally gets used to it.

Scale: Uhhh....we'll go 7/10. If you can handle the overwhelming life of being shared by two vampires, then great! But this is more so a forced relationship that you're just kinda vibing with the best you can. Sorry, not sorry.

OKAY so, yes, I know that she's originally from Pico's school and was only made into a mod BUTTTT I immediately though of her when I read your description.

SO i mean, same thing with Lif, i feel you two just really would click from first glance. Between your similar styles, the way you scare off people, and even the sarcastic, brutal remarks? You guys are like a chaotic package deal. The amount of terror you two bring to the people around you-

I also head cannon that due to her technically being an alien with male genitals, she feels very confused about gender here, so you using they/them pronouns and helping her understand better definitely helps her out, even if she refuses to acknowledge she needs help in the first place. She was "Just fine figuring it out on her own." Yeah, no you caught her crying because she said her dick was bigger than someones and they said "You're a girl, you don't have one." Of course she was crying tears of confusion, she literally does have one-

All those quirky little hobbies and interests, count her in. She was starting to think that everyone was too boring. Definitely fits her vibe though. Likes to try and study true crime stories to see if she can calculate a plan to become the best serial killer ever. Please stop her- shes already done enough damage.

Despite her rough and violent aura though, i like to think she's kinda vulnerable. Takes a lot for her to show to you, but once you're to that level, she would genuinely kill for you.

Isn't the best at acting, but definitely helps you practice and is always first in line for haunted houses and whatever else when you're playing as a scare actor. Doesn't scare easy at all, but sometimes she'll jump a lil and pretend you got her to make you feel better <3

Scale: 8/10. She's a good partner once you get past her rough edges, but then again she did shoot up a school and is an alien so good luck with that-

My on-and-off twin first play throughs of Stardew Valley continue.

Have been playing more on my ipad late at night as a bed time wind down activity so that farmer -- my disaster farmer whom I started first -- is now a few days past the autumn harvest festival.

For some reason, I haven't had success triggering heart-scenes with some of the characters (and not ready to look at the wiki to find out why) but, between this playthrough and the other on my PC (currently in late summer), I've seen everything up to 6 hearts for Shane and for Sebastian (plus anyone else at a lower level I'm forgetting). More on that in a bit.

It took me a lllloooooonggg time to successfully get the community center quest rolling and, tbh, I think the ipad version had a bug that made a certain something in the community center ignore half the clicks/taps on it. Anyhow, that's now in the works.

Lots of thoughts about this game and how relaxing it is. But not a relaxing that quickly becomes boring and I'm the sort who gets bored really easily. The game's constraint of a ticking clock that force me to decide what I will do each day (so many choices, so little time) mixed with me doing short term and medium term goal setting combined with no such thing as a game over or a "bad" choice makes it all very relaxing. Plus, the game is very pretty with its saturated pixel graphics and the music is pleasant. And, while some players might opt to craft more stuff ASAP that makes farming "easier," I am finding the first year (first three seasons) of farming to be fun as a haphazard, simplistic, hands-on horticulturalist. This is very chill in a good way. Although, lol, so much watering by hand when it doesn't rain. ;)

Also: why must my cat insist on repeatedly BLOCKING my progress when watering? Such a cat. SUCH A CAT.

But it is all part of the charm of the game. Which makes it relaxing.

Fwiw, Verdi the disaster farmer (who lives on my iPad) has no intention of marrying Shane --- and after the 6 heart event I fast-scrolled-vaguely-spoiled myself on the rest of his story, huge emphasis on vague --- and I do give CA credit for writing this character in the way that Shane is presented.

Must say that I am infinitely amused by the recipes (and other letters) that Shane sends to the farmer. His story contains a good deal of content for a game like this.

I think my plan for Verdi is to be very easy-going and thorough with the game --- after all, it is a perfect game for the iPad mini which just adds coziness on top of more coziness. I think I'll have her level up all of the romance-candidates to 8 just to see their stories and get to know them before making the decision that is right for her. If that takes a long while, perfect. Her game wants to go on for a very long time.

As for Violet, on my gaming machine (which is a far less cozy place to play), who is very spreadsheets and wiki pages strategic, she decided shortly upon arriving in that town that Sebastian was her INTEREST. I think once I have seen enough of the game from Violet's POV, I'll start messing around with mods and so forth.

As per earlier conversations regarding some of the characters feeling young, at least for me the implied youth of 4-out-of-8 romance characters doesn't really bother me or affect my decision making. I can imagine my player characters as younger or older, as per who I feel like RPing. Overall, just not fussed about that, and I like the fact that the game has romancable characters who feel like they span a little bit of an age range.

Have been amused with how the rhythms and messages and vibe of the game have leaked over into my day-to-day life.
