Here's my piece for this year's @tolkienrsb! This is my first time participating and I'm so excited to share what I've been working on with my fic author🥰️

In this piece, Celebrimbor reunites with his family in the Halls of Mandos, hoping to reconcile with them. You'll find out what happens in @goschatewabn's fic when the collection goes live!

This piece, like many of my others, is drawn in the style of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. But this time, I took inspiration from the stained glass concept art from the game and decided to imitate the effect. It took a ton of work- I did a lot of the flat colors and shading all in one day. But I'm glad I was able to challenge myself with such a complex composition!

You know what doesn't exist on the entire internet? A map of the world of Kyou Kara Maoh. Anyone who knows me is aware that I'm not going to let that stand in my way.

I culled all the map pieces from three seasons of the Anime and let me tell you something: the art team didn't have any kind of a map either, because there were like, three different depictions of where Caloria was. I blended them as best I could and tried to come up with something that sort of made sense and accounted for the places Yuuri and the gang travel to. I divided Cimaron into 9 provinces for my story so I added them to the map since it's my map and I can do what I like. If Amazon can frick with the geography of Middle Earth I can muck about with geography that doesn't even exist.

I'll probably add some mountain ranges at some point, the eastern continent is really flat. If I make any additions to the map I'll reblog the changes to this post with the same tags.

Over the aeons, Aulë crafts many beautiful things with and for and because of Yavanna. Most of them are very vast and complex - great Lamps, deep valleys, the occasional continent. Some of them, however, the Lady of the Gifts carries with herself always.

I've been having a massive flare-up today. It has been a while since I've felt this way. The medication was working well enough, and though the pain never really left complelty, but it got to a point I could forget it was there half the time. Since yesterday, I've felt really tired and sore, having trouble regulating body temperature, and brain fog, but today it got out of hand and I couldn't get out of bed for anything other than eating and bathroom.

Even though I have due homework, I didn't have the brainpower to do it. I sketched Frodo and Nienna, in Valinor, as a way to make myself feel a little better (at least emotionally), but I had no energy to get it finished. It was comforting, nonetheless, so I decided to share it anyway, even if it isn't "good". I hope you like it :)
