kanon and nicolina differences! ( headcanons ofc )

- i think that nicorins features would be slightly sharper, but still maintaining the same gentleness kanon has!

- ofc she has no signature kanon jellyfish gonads in her hair

- both hair textures are the same and would be indiscernible if nicorin let her hair the down. nicorin’s hair has yellow highlights while kanon’s are salmon but this is just my silly shading nitpicks. kanon’s hair is also bluer than nicorin’s

- nicorins irises are darker, and she has no freckles. i think she’d be a little paler too

- kanon has ‘fuee…’ so i think nicolina deserves a catchphrase too. my vote is on ‘I’m really going to do it this time…’ or perhaps ‘Fiddlesticks…’ as a more formal option

- kanon has thicker eyebrows too. they’re rounder than this art but it was 4am when i drew it

The animated lyric video for Mia Taylor's Lemonade just dropped. Like the other songs on the album it's a love song; in Mia's case a soft, poppy number, and as befits the American member of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, it's all in English.

And this listen is demanding fanfic, or at least the outline of such, from me.

See, Mia is most often shipped with Rina. Rina, whose song, "Magnet", is explicitly about her feelings of thanks for Ai.

(There was an adorable moment in a live stream when Rina's voice actor, Chiemi Tanaka, was explaining this, and Mia's voice actor, Shu Uchida, pretended to be hurt and said, "It's not about Mia?")

Anyway, one of the lines in the song is "I can make you smile". And smiling is one of the things that Rina can't do.

So my imagination is conjuring visions of Rina feeling a little hurt by the line. I figure she'd admit to it, and admit she feels it's a little selfish, maybe even egotistical. "My song was about my feelings of gratitude for Ai, so it's not fair to you to want your song to be about me. But — it hurts to know that it's not."

And eventually — Mia isn't great at being honest about her feelings — she would ask to look at the Rina-chan Board, and flip to "Rina-chan Board: Nicorin" and its bright cartoon smile, and say that seeing Rina make this smile makes her happy, especially when she can be the cause of it. "Making you smile isn't about what you can't do, it's about what you do."
