I think she was supposed to be the PR girlfriend narrative for the fine line tour but Covid came and they had to shut it all down. But did pick up again with the promo circus (hence the fish story) over summer to lay the groundwork because they hoped tour could start in fall/winter 2020. Nicole hoped for a breakthrough out of the shadow of her popular sister. But tour couldn’t go on and so the deal fell through. Harry signed the contract for DWD instead and the PR contract with Cockburn started. Nicole was mad that her chance was gone and that they replaced her just like that and that’s why she acted so shady so publicly

LMAO! She is totally another Tess Ward. Given what a fucking shit show DWD and Holivia were, I almost wish we had gotten her instead. But she really was ridiculous.

Hi, Remember when Harry's car broke down, and he was waiting for the tower in a person's house. He fed a fish, & wrote a note to a fan, & left it on the fridge door. What all this just a stunt? Why would he go into the fan's bedroom, roam around a house with the owner? Seems odd to me.
Hey there! Honestly, I barely remembered anything about it, except for that funny pic of Harry feeding the fish LOL I had to go ask my friends about it. But no, nothing indicates that the story about the car breaking down and Harry feeding the fish was a stunt, Harry was just saying the truth on the note he left. What happened was that there was just this crazy clout chaser that saw the opportunity to make shit up about it like a month later. And of course, Deuxmoi jumped on the whole thing 🤢 – because that’s what she does. But you know what, I'm glad stuff like this usually fades away. I mean, if I had to keep track of every clout-chaser or womanizer story Harry's been tied to in the past decade, I'd be long gone! The entire story is just stupid and not believable at all. @daisiesonafield-blog has a post about it here if you need more information about it, anon.

excerpt from my fic featuring @calicostorms's fen'an and @evangeline444's dhaveira
Dusk had fully fallen by the time Sera called them to eat. Yuo extricated themself from the agents demanding their attention, assuring they’d handle the rest in the morning. Everything time sensitive had been settled, and Yuo knew if they let Leliana’s people work them through dinner once, they’d expect it every time.
They accepted dinner from Sera, snuck their flask from their pack, told their companions to ready themselves to reach Redcliffe tomorrow, then made their way over to their visitors. Or, visitor. Dhaveira sat at the edge of the fire’s light; her brother—Yuo surveyed the camp—there, near the mouth of the ravine with a few Inquisition scouts.
Yuo sat across from her, fire warm at their back. Dhaveira had several objects laid in front of her: a fennec skull, a bundle of phoenix feathers, a jar of teeth, a nug’s foot, small runes carved from veil quartz. Two wisps of veilfire circled her head; her eyes were wide and glowing when she looked up. “These hills are especially restless,” she said, voice clear and resounding like a bell. “The dead will find little peace.”
“Not surprising,” Yuo said, talking through a bite of their rabbit. “Demons everywhere, magic running wild, bodies piling up faster than the shems can burn them.”
“War is always hard on the land,” Dhaveira said; a fact the People knew well. “So many spirits traveling through the veil wear it thin.” She picked up the jar, turning it so the teeth—wolf, Yuo guessed—rattled. “But it’s not as simple as an excess of death. The very veins of life have been ravaged. Disturbances have rippled through the Fade to all ends of Thedas.”
Yuo chewed consideringly. “And that’s why you’re here.”
“It is an unusual event even in the People’s long and storied history.”
“Pretty fucking unusual,” they agreed and pulled the last of the meat from the bone with their teeth. “And your brother? He seems less enthused.”
She smiled, looking smug again. “He is far too protective to tolerate me traveling so far alone.”
“He clearly knows what he’s doing,” Yuo mused. “With that axe.”
“He is one of our clan’s finest warriors.”
Fen’an was looking over at them, face settled in a frown. In the low light, his mossy eyes and snowy hair stood out. He was still fully armored, dark smears of blood now dried.
“Hmmm.” Yuo cracked the bone and sucked on the marrow, making sure to curl their tongue.
Fen’an’s ears twitched, and his throat flexed. He watched Yuo until they pulled the bone from their mouth, then turned away.
“We are hoping to ally with the rebel mages,” Yuo told Dhaveira. “But they are, you know, from the Circle or shem apostates. I’ve been hesitant to bring my clan into this, but if you’re willing, I’d be glad to have your expertise.”

Scuff
@schittscreekdrabbleblog and the word of the week is Scuff
Also sorry for the feels. Also I need to watch The Olive Branch again.
It’s been a week since David asked for space. Patrick in a last ditch effort sent him the bracelet. He saw David and Stevie enter the cafe this morning and hopes that maybe this is the day David will come back to the store. Patrick organized everything multiple times and he’s standing behind the cash scuffing his feet on the ground trying not to make it seem like he’s watching for David. A few customers come in and make purchases, but then Patrick sees David coming his way and the door opens and a litany of apologies flow from Patrick.

Season 1 AU. After the events at the Byers house, during that time when Nancy has broken up with him, Steve decides he's turned over a new leaf and so must everyone else. Nicole, Carol, Tommy H. He catches Tommy getting into a fight with one of Eddie's sheep and tells him to knock it off.
Eddie who was about to come in swinging is impressed. And maybe develops a little crush on new Steve.
Steve starts becoming a hard ass on and off the court, pushing his friends to be better people and in Tommy's case a better player. The coaches at first tell Steve to go easy on the team, but when they start seeing the results, they back off and let him at it.
He pushes Tommy to get counseling from Ms Kelly for his anger issues. And it works.
So Steve starts branching out and targeting other bullies and not just his friends.
He breaks up what he will later learn was a deal gone wrong between Eddie and a football player, causing Eddie to blurt "Marry me!"
Steve laughs and tells him to buy him dinner first.
Eddie is mortified. And all the Corroded Coffin boys make fun of him for it.
But Steve starts popping up wherever Eddie is and his poor little cynical heart can't handle it.
Steve is being nicer to people. Including a certain blonde trumpet player in Mrs Click's class. He tells her he has a problem remembering names, but asks her for help in the class (he lost his study buddy, Nancy and picks Robin.)
Now Steve can't be everywhere and so the bullies start being more slick about it. Taunts and sneers. Hip checks and "accidental" tripping.
But one of these bullies target Gareth, a freshman. One of the varsity basketball players, a senior.
So Steve challenges the guy to a game of one on one. If this dude loses, he'll give up his place as captain and make it Steve. If Steve loses, he'll give up basketball and his one man mission to stop the bullying.
Nancy who was in the hall at the time turns to one of her friends and asks her if that was as hot as she thought it was it. The other girl can only nod.
Everyone shows up to this game. And the bully is confident. There is no way that this scrawny little junior is going to best him.
Only for Steve to win.
Everyone is stunned.
Afterwards, Eddie asks if that date was still on the table. Steve laughs and says he'd been waiting all month for Eddie to ask.
Nancy who was one her way to ask Steve to take her back, is upset when she overhears this conversation. She lost her chance with Steve.
Which of course changes season 2 because now that King Steve is king for a different reason, Billy's antics get shut down fast. Not just by Steve, but Carol and Tommy, too.
The possibilities are juicy on how else it changes things.
*ETA: Story here.

hi Gina! i was on twitter and came across this https://x.com/babyhcney/status/1856163335982493721?s=46&t=2Gav4i-ig7t9oLxGtCv7cw and i was just wondering what your take is on it?? there isn’t much context and thus not much proof but ppl are saying the reason harry was even at that house was cause he was hooking up with the girl who was house sitting (i think that’s the story?? ) i don’t really think i believe it but little things like this always have me second guessing and i would just love to hear your thoughts on it!
First of all, I don’t know why people are linking Jamie Oliver’s story with this old nonsense. But they’re two separate things.
The story about H feeding the fish is basically HSHQ doing the same old bullshit with sprinkling around the idea that H is sleeping with everyone because he/they think it’s the only way to keep people interested, and some woman desperate for clout who jumps on board and says it’s her he’s hooking up with.
Here’s a post with most of the details
Other than that, I’d use @daisiesonafield-blog to look into her more because she’s much better at tagging than I am.

Hey, Mishka!!!
I've been replaying TWC over the last couple of months, and must say, it's been an entirely rejuvenating experience for me. Like, I was reading it the first time, although I've replayed the series quite too many (worrying number) of times already. And it still manages to amaze me, EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I've repeated this in the past, and I'll repeat it again. The Wayhaven Chronicles is a blessing for me and I'm sincerely thankful to have come across it when I did. And I'm grateful to you for making this lovely world a reality (and of course, the four beautiful vamps)! Really eager for Book 4 and have already player the demo; can say it's gonna be worth the wait. It every time is.
Replaying the series in the last few months, I had a certain uncontrollable urge to drop and ask a few questions to you. Apologize in advance for the long ask and message, but it had been bottling up inside of me for SOOOOOO LONG.
1. In Book 1, when we're to lead the investigation in one of the three directions, is there any way to get success in any direction without Bobby making a big joke out of our investigation in the newspaper?
2. In Book 2, when Nicole and Max Salinas come to report their incident, can Tina actually find out anything unusual? If so, what is actually needed to explain that?
3. In Book 3, I noticed if we choose to go the final mission alone, depending on the route chosen, Boddy/Doug will end up tagging along as well, jeopardizing everything. Is there still a way to complete the mission successfully and rescuing everyone like it happens when we go along with Rebecca?
4. Less of a question, but more of a plea. Please tell me we can get a pet anytime in the series. I was just curious if we can get one.
5. How powerful is the big baddie in Book 4 compared to Unit Bravo? You don't need to answer if this verges on spoiler-y territory.
Really sorry to overwhelm you with this, but it's just months and months of joy, happiness, and sheer ecstasy making me blabber on about this world like this. Thanks once again, for making this truly beautiful story, world, and the vampires a reality.
Have a good day!!!! Lots of love from India!!
You can never play a game you love too many times (I keep telling myself that as I gradually burn a hole into my poor old console playing Dragon Age over and over, lol!)! If it brings you happiness, then that's what is important! :D
Ok, let's see about the questions...it's been a whole since I've gone through the older games without being in editing mode, hehe!
I don't think so...Bobby is, well, Bobby. And that scene was there very much to establish their character and show the player what type of person they are.
I don't think so, again. If there's anything unusual or odd, then I usually like to let the MC find that instead of it happening 'off-screen' so it's more impactful for the player—unless it's Verda discovering stuff, because that needs to happen for…reasons.
Iirc, in the Bobby/Doug routes, you get the auction scene, so a lot of that branch involves focusing on saving yourself! But the other team that joins Unit Bravo will help in saving a lot of the captives in that version.
I would love that being a massive animal companion fan myself, hehe! But likely not, just because the MC is away a lot from home, and that's unfair on the pet, even a fictional one, lol. I was tempted to give the MC a supernatural pet that hung around at the facility—that was definitely a strong idea at one point just so I could write a pet in the series for those that wanted it (me, I was the one who wanted it, hehe!) :D
**BOOK FOUR DEMO SPOILERS AHEAD** It's not just that Book Four's villain is terrifyingly powerful (or will be. They are, thankfully for the MC and UB, in a weakened state for a while due to what's happened to them and what happened in Chapter Two) but it's a lot to do with the fact that their power specifically counteracts and weakens Unit Bravo's. So that's a double whammy!
Thank you SO incredibly much for the amazing message! It means more than you can know <3
