But did pick up again with the promo circus (hence the fish story) over summer to lay the groundwork because they hoped tour could start in fall/winter 2020. Nicole hoped for a breakthrough out of the shadow of her popular sister. But tour couldn’t go on and so the deal fell through. Harry signed the contract for DWD instead and the PR contract with Cockburn started. Nicole was mad that her chance was gone and that they replaced her just like that and that’s why she acted so shady so publicly

Hi!

So I made this blog a couple of weeks ago and still haven’t made a proper introduction of myself in this community, so here we go!

My name is Ash (at least, it’s my nickname online, but my full name isn’t Ashley), I’m 20 and currently in my third year of uni. I’m an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing, and a Film minor, and I will be able to graduate early (hell yes, less money to owe! *she says as she’s already drowning in debt*) I’m working towards one day becoming a published author, and will possible be an editor in a publishing house first (peeps need to contact me back UGH)

I got into TSC when I was in 10th grade--the movie was being made and I read through all the first 5 TMI books like three times, waiting for CoHF to drop, and guys let me tell you, once it did, I read all the way through to the dreams in Edom and then for some God damn reason stopped and didn’t read any more until next year. idk why (I totally know why--i hate when things end) BUT then I realised TID series was finishing up, so I read all of those, then went back to finish cohf lmao

then, things were pretty quiet for me with these books. I wasn’t apart of the fandom (my main tumblr is a 1d blog, so if you see stylesmyth liking your post, but chocolateforemma reblogging, that’s me lmao) and I had no clue tda was being written. But summer of 2018 came around, I was bored as shit and decided to reread the first two series for like the twentieth time, and THEN found out about TDA and fuck man, that wait for Queen was brutal

my relationship with these books is so weird. I have plenty of books on my shelves that I’ve never even opened to read (maybe one day *insert “and then I didn’t” gif*) but I find myself drawn to keep reading and rereading these books, and never get tired of it (I finished rsom the other day and also finished my reread of shadowhunter academy, so I’ll likely start a reread of tmi as soon as a 10pg paper about Hamlet if off my shoulders)

now, how about some stats (not really stats, but just favourite, least favourites of stuff) fav book? literally can’t decide, next question least fav? City of Fallen Angels, fight me fav series? i could sit here all day and go back and forth between them movie or tv show? I know everyone here loves malec and kitty and yes I do love them too, but because of the way I connect with books, I typically go for the ships that are presented immediately and latch onto them more: Clace, Wessa and Jemma (I do like Jem and Tessa, but fuck I love Will) ((and I’m sure I’ll latch onto Kitty when twp comes out and when...they’re a better age to appropriately ship))

Sexuality Headcanon: oh man so after LIS I was positive Rachel was the straightest heterosexual to ever live because surely that is the only way she could have Chloe Price in love with her but wind up with men like Frank and Jefferson???? but before the storm is making bisexual Rachel very possible, nay probable, and I don’t... know how to reconcile those thingsA ship I have with said character: see the thing is with Rachel, I think LIS hinges on Rachel and Chloe being -- unspoken or unresolved in some way, you know? something not as clearcut as “girlfriends”, certainly, because (again) of Frank and Jefferson. and I certainly don’t ship Rachel with either of them. it looks like BTS might throw that into question though. A friendship I have with said character: Chloe ofc. I’m fascinated by the Chloe/Rachel relationship and what it might become -- my impression of it, from LIS, was this really intense friendship with unrequited and unspoken romantic feelings. It still feels a bit too early to say exactly where Rachel’s coming from though, and how much she’s connecting with Chloe vs how much Chloe is an easy way for Rachel to express the rebel~ side that she’s maybe been repressing or hiding or whatever. A NOTP I have with said character: I mean OBVIOUSLY Jefferson, but aside from him, I find Rachel/Frank so gross omg why am I supposed to just accept these teenage girl sleeping with this adult drug dealer wtF A random headcanon: Rachel would definitely want Max and Chloe to destroy the town. General Opinion over said character: Rachel has so many different lives going at once, I wonder how many of them we’ll get to see. I think the mystery of Rachel worked well in LIS and I think Before the Storm will have to be careful if it wants to truly lead into LIS in a believable way. There was more to Rachel than Chloe ever knew about and I think keeping a part of that mystery about her is important. I don’t want her to be a total untrustworthy Bad Guy or anything as trope-y and misogynist as that but I do think she’s mercurial and there’s more to her than meets the eye.

Sexuality Headcanon: StraightA ship I have with said character: Hardy/Ellie! Remember when they had to share a hotel room and there was only one bed. Remember when that was a real thing that happened in canon for apparently no reason at all.A friendship I have with said character: he doesn’t have friends he has friend singular and her name is EllieA NOTP I have with said character: Hardy/Tess lmao god for a hot second in s2 I thought they were going to reconcile and I found it so gross A random headcanon: Man I wrote fic for this fandom and everything and I’m totally blanking, s3 was such a void. General Opinion over said character: I liked Hardy so much more than I expected to, I found him quite endearing and for the most part his flaws were things that didn’t make me want to reach into my screen and deck him as with many male characters, so that was nice. I think the unfortunate thing with Hardy is that he got like 2/3 of an arc and then it kind of stalled -- s2 was very good at leaving a lot of things unresolved for s3, but then s3 didn’t really resolve them. So even though I think we saw his relationship with Ellie develop a lot and that was very meaningful, we somehow still ended with a Hardy who wouldn’t go to the pub with his only friend in the world. Which... like........... ok.

Summary:  Banished from Sasan, Mystras decides to travel to the country he has always been hearing stories of. But an inexperienced traveler doesn’t always end up where he wants to be and a lost home is always calling.

Triggers/themes/info to be noted: AU where Mystras doesn’t follow Sinbad and Darius isn’t the biggest shit around, rushed writing because that’s kind of my style and it probably has some parts that make no sense but... Mystras is alive throughout the whole fic?

Gen 2 [Hakuryuu]

Summary: Modern AU. With Gyokuen having been out of Hakuryuu’s sight since he was a child due to the justice system, the revenge his brothers asked for is impossible for him to carry out. Finding other ways to satisfy their memories is difficult - after all, how can he know if they approve or not when they’re long dead?

Pairings: It’s not a romance fic at heart, but there is Juhaku and just a little Alimor.

(Main) Characters: Hakuryuu, Judar, Alibaba, and Cassim. But mostly Hakuryuu.

-btw watching the previously I just remembered Kasius and the other alien lady having their talks (Because he wants to leave that planet) and trying to top each other while also trying to sound like they don't hate each other's guts?  It was hilarious to me, it was like watching ANY conversation between people in my town ever (incidentally, my town if you live in it long enough does give you the feeling you are trapped underground waiting for giant roaches to suck the life out of you)
