The thing is... the more you love something, the more you're going to be crushed by a bad ending. I spent 13 hours with the audiobook being charmed and giddy, now I feel empty.

The ending is going to be controversial. Personally, I hated it.

I'm looking for a Sterek fic that I was SURE I'd saved, but for the life of me I just can't find it in my bookmarks. Can anyone help?

It was a "new supernatural is killing people" kind of story . The killing happened on the running tracks?

I distinctly remember the creature who did the killing was a teenager who was fighting his own urges/nature. He ended up being sent to a kind of reserve with alive!Laura who helped supernatural beings leading a normal life.

The Sheriff was attacked at some point by the creature as well, and they were brought together to the hospital.

I know it's not much to go on but I'd be super grateful for any help. Thanks!
