you know what? i think i will make will solace headcanons based off myself.

he loves the sun but he hates when it gets too hot because ew sweat so his favourite days are sunny with a light breeze

he’s a cat AND a dog person, switching depending on his mood

he’s vegetarian but kind of accidentally, he just slowly stopped eating different meats until he finally gave up his last meat (chicken) and became a herbivore

he gets snappy when he doesn’t sleep much, so basically he’s permanently on the verge of a breakdown

he’s a hypocrite because he’s always trying to get nico to be healthy yet proceeds to go eat only snacky, comfort foods that he can just grab randomly

he loves helping people but he doesn’t love people

he hyper focuses on things then proceeds to try own everything he can related to that subject

he would try and adopt his favourite character’s personality but he’s given up because he’s so unchangeably him that he fails every-time

he hates winter so much because he cannot handle the cold, but he loves winter sweaters (paired with his comfort shorts ofc)

he has comfort shorts (he cried when his first pair ripped from overuse and had to immediately buy an identical pair).

he’s trans masc but low-key loves styling long hair, just doesn’t like having long hair himself, so he often messes with nico’s (who rocks those mini half up-half down pigtails). This is the only one not based off myself lmfao

if you disagree with any of these then keep that to yourself because i need him to be me, he’s so me !!

Nico genuinely means so much to me. As a child who grew up ostrosised, and thinking there was something wrong with me. To the little me who used to beg to a god they didn't believe in to make them normal, to make their brain the same as everyone else's so they won't be a bother anymore. To finally learning that that's not ok, that I don't have to feel that way anymore. To finally loving myself and having real genuine friends, not feeling like anything I felt in 2021... seeing nico go through basically a 1-to-1 journey of my life, and have the ending of tsats be him being hopeful for the future for the first time.

Gods I don't even have words. I've never related more to a character and have that character bring me so joy & solace. I can't wait to (hopefully) get s3 of the pjo show and finally see the start of his journey. Gods I'm going to get so emotional. It'll feel like seeing child me knowing their about to go through it and I can't stop it, but I know that at least their ending is good.
