౨౿ nicholas chavez who tried his damnedest not to stare into your deep eyes as you painted his face in zombie makeup. you were quite shocked to’ve been doing this, considering what had happened yesterday — approximately ten minutes after the football team’s zombie-boot camp ‘bonding’ performance forced by william schuester and coach beiste, you had found him and the other players disgustingly drenched in ice and red dye number seven. he had been one of the four football players to remain with the glee club; the only non member to show up tonight for the championship game — though he couldn’t sing or dance as good as you, or any other glee-clubber, he enjoyed himself ..

his eyes twinkled every which way, scared to make eye contact with you .. . you flicked his chin up and dabbed purple and red makeup along the soft skin of his neck. “can i ..” nicholas swallowed hard and looked to the ceiling, his fingers fidgeting with the ribbed waistband of his varsity jacket, “can i ask you something?” you hummed low in response, too focused on blending out the pigment. “does the sticky feeling ever go away?” you shook your head at his question, dropping the beauty-blender aside and replacing it with a paintbrush dipped in fake blood.

“can i be honest with you?”

nicholas nodded softly, finally meeting your sharp gaze. sitting down, you matched his height perfectly — there was no need to break your neck looking up or him breaking his neck to look down at you. “depends. if you’re someone like me - us ..” speaking of your glee friends, “the sticky feeling never goes away. we get slushied so much, at least twice a day, once if we’re lucky .. there is no getting rid of that ‘sticky feeling’. all of my white clothes are pink and smell of cherry -“ there was a frown on his face as you dropped fake blood along his fake scars. “- i’ve gotten use to it.”

a few seconds later — “i think that .. that i can get use to it too.” you almost laughed at him. you lowered the paintbrush from his cheek, “why would you wan’a do that to yourself?” well, he had to be close to you . .. . if that meant getting hit with red-slushees every school day and feeling ‘sticky’ for the rest of his high-school career, so be it.

and that’s what you’ve missed on glee!

January 19, 2024. 👎 Streaming on Hulu. I had missed this in the theater, so I was glad to catch it on streaming. However, I thought it was going to be another movie in which Cage played some ridiculous caricature... but... I was wrong. It seemed to be marketed as a comedy, but I think it was actually trying to be a serious action movie! It had some great character actors who just didn't live up to their potential. And the ending was... disappointing. An all around blah movie.

Congrats to the ultimate winner of the Hot & Vintage Movie Men Tournament, Mr. Toshiro Mifune! May he live happily and well where the sun always shines, enjoying the glories of a battle hard fought.

A loving farewell to all of our previous contestants, who are now banished to the shadow realm and all its dark joys and whispered horrors—I hear there's a picnic on the village green today. If you want to remember the fallen heroes, you can find them all beneath the cut.

What happens next? I'll be taking a break of two weeks to rest from this and prep for the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament. I'll still be around but only minimally, posting a few last odes to the hot men before transitioning into a little early ladies content, just like I did with this last tournament. The submission form for the Hot & Vintage Ladies tournament will remain up for one more week (closing February 21st), so get your submissions in for that asap! Once the form closes, there will be one more week of break. The first round of the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament will be posted on February 29th, as Leap Year Day seems like a fitting allusion to leaping into these ladies' arms.

Hype House Members Being Sued For Allegedly Trashing Their Mansion A few Hype House have gotten themselves into some serious legal trouble.If you're still following the TikTok influencer collective for some reason, you probably know that there've been a lot of switch ups over the past couple of years, including a divisive Netflix reality show and plenty of controversy, as well as the departure of several notable members like Addison Rae and the D'Amelio sisters, Dixie and Charli. However, another big but less talked development was a sudden change in scenery, as the group moved out of their infamous Hollywood Hills mansion back in the beginning of 2021. And now, we're finally getting some answers as to why.According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Hype House members Huddy, Mia Hayward, Calvin Goldby, Patrick Huston, Nicholas Austin and collective co-founder Thomas Petrou appear to have had some issues with their landlord Daniel Fitzgerald, seeing as how they're all listed as defendants in a lawsuit filed by their former landlord, Daniel Fitzgerald, for breach of contract.In the court filing, Fitzgerald accused the five social media stars of causing over $300,000 in property damage to the 10-bedroom, 16-bathroom luxury mansion on Weidlake Drive, as well as skipping out on the 1-year lease — which they initially signed in May 2021 — after living there for only seven months.As the self-proclaimed "owner of the biggest influencer homes in LA" alleged, the Hype House initially agreed to pay $10,000 per month over a 40-month period in order to make up for supposedly trashing the place. But despite the fact that the influencers moved out in January 2021, he said they've continued to pay him only $2,500 a month, even after several stern warnings. So needless to say, he's turned to the legal system in an effort to get the remaining balance paid in full ASAP. Huddy, Thomas, Mia, Nicholas, Calvin and Patrick all have yet to address TMZ's report on Fitzgerald's lawsuit.
