Went to Niagara Falls recently. It was so beautiful. I only went for a day, and it wasn't tourist season, so not much was open. I still had a great time. I even walked to the Canadian side ( which I didn't know you could do), literally a 10-minute walk. Hope I get to do more little vacations in 2023

okay, so I'm going to share a dumb story, mainly because I just saw a picture of a red-winged blackbird, and it reminded me

So, a few years back, I and my family took a trip up to the northeast. I say Northeast because our trips are never just “we went to one place”, they are “travel absurd distribution distances to cover the most possible land” trips.

Anyways, so, we are at Niagara Falls, and we were walking around to another part of it because it's massive, and we crossed this little bridge that's part of the river that leads to the falls. And in a tree off to the side of the guard rail, I saw a red-winged blackbird. While I've seen them, I had never been able to get a good picture. So, in order to get one, I leaned over the guard rail, stand on the bridge, and got a picture. It was so close that my sister pulled me back because she thought I was going to fall off.

Moral of the story: I dunno, just don't be stupid while admiring birds
