And more than that I had a team of amazing staff who looked after us all for that month that money could never repay the gratitude I feel towards them. I love art and I love writing so I am creatively visualising my future which combines both things together. I want to wake up every day and be able to go into my art studio and be creative. I want to spend my afternoons writing looking out of the window which looks onto the sea. I would like to have a Porsche sitting in the drive and sailing boat moored in the bay. In the evenings I would like to drink my tonic waters in the company of a funny kind attractive companion. This can all be mine if I put my dream into action by writing and drawing and painting. Never let anyone tell you you aren’t good enough to do something. The only person who ever hold you back in your life is you not them and their low opinions and thoughts about what you are capable of. I have spent my life battling an autoimmune disease which has meant that many things I would’ve liked to done after had to been put on hold. Now, although my new liver may not last forever I am going to make dam sure that we have lots of adventures and make lots of memories. Mark Twain said that if you love what you do you’re never have to work another day in your life. #bulletcofffee is a blessing when sometimes you don’t sleep very well due to the#sideeffects of your medication. #insomnia #imonamission to #getfit and #helpmybody #recover from my #operation -#recovery Isn’t easy and each day has its challenges. Sometimes I can’t get out of bed, other days I have enough energy to have a go on the exercise bike and maybe go for a jog. However I can never predict how I feel and that’s one of the suckier things about an #autoimmunedise disease. It’s hard to plan the future but you have to if you’re going to survive. I believe in always having goals and being driven towards my future. I encourage anyone within an invisible illness like this to try and find some form of exercise that you can do daily and get those #endorphins pumping. If you haven’t experienced the rush and high exercise can give you then you haven’t found the right exercise for you yet. I don’t have a perfect body. I might never have a perfect body. But why don’t I choose what perfect means to me? How about it means that I am not overweight and that I can jog or run on a good day if I feel like it. How about I treat my body like a good friend? I feed it healthy things that help to heal and build it up. But occasionally I let it have a treat as long as it promises to do some exercise to counter that. Every time I do some exercise I feel so incredibly lucky. #bruises unfortunately bruising is a sign that my #whitebloodcount and #neutrophil #neutrophils levels are low again. This is a #sideeffect of the #antirejection #antirejectionmeds as the Doctors are trying to keep the #liver from being #rejected from by the #humanbody - the problem is that when they levels are reduced I become at risk to infection and less able to fight it. Suddenly the outside world is far more dangerous and even the smallest cough or cold will mean that I need to go straight to accident and emergency - #aande - what can I do to improve this situation? Not a lot.
