My first ever animatic! It took several months, but we got there! I’m much more proud of the ending then the start cause it’s newer, but again, for a first attempt, I don’t think it’s bad!

About a guy being nervous and excited for a date and overthinking everything, Deuce is very much anxious about dating and thinks he'll mess everything up but is sweet enough to want it to work

Epel Felmier x Yuu

She Loves Me - She Loves Me

About a guy who hates a girl but then falls hopelessly in love and learns he is okay with it, I think Epel would very much be against relationship at first but then would try to be the best partner after

Ace Trappola x Yuu

I Never Planned On/Don't Come A'Knockin - Newsies

About a guy who flirts around and doesn't believe in "love at first sight" but starts to think he might be in love with one person now, Ace gotta be a player and if not he has had a past relationship (if i remember correctly it's canon or just a widespread fan statement idk) plus I don't think he'd hold traditional ideals for many aspects in life including romance -unlike say Deuce or Riddle-

Ramshackle Dorm (Yuu, Grim, Rollo, Fellow/Gidel, Skully)

Skid Row/Downtown - Little Shop of Horrors

About people living in a place they just want to get out of; canon Yuu just wants to leave Twst, Fellow/Gidel hate Night Raven so they'd want to leave, Rollo hates magic/Malleus so he'd also want to leave, and Skully and Grim ... idk about leaving but they stay in the dorm and I think specific lyrics for them would be funny (cast below for reference)

Yuu: Seymour Krelborn (both are poor and have a caretaker -Crowely/Mushnik- who don't care about them)

Skully: Audrey (fans see him as the romantic so the lyrics would fit him best plus Adurey is Seymour's love interest)

Rollo, Fellow, Gidel, & Grim: The Urchins (they hold most of the song, but they are "friends" to Seymour and Audrey and have more of the descriptive lyrics of the setting, this group would criticize Ramshackle like this)

Might add the three ghosts here as extras but idk

Okay, so bear with me, I’ve never done this before, but I wanted to try and make an animatic with The Truth About The Moon, sung by Davey after the rally. This is just the rough draft, I’m going to go through later and redraw it, but I wanted to share what I had!!!

what if we all did like some cool collab where its like maybe an animatic of "the world will know" or "seize the day" or "once and for all" in the theme of what's happening in the U.S

and then me and a few artists can like, animate everyone's personas

i just thought it'd be a cool idea to take our minds off of the whole thing and sort of say "we are here, we won't go down without a fight"

I crossed over the two things (not including Newsies) I’ve watched this week after an interesting dream I had. No, @flinttflakes was not there to stop me. I had so much fun drawing this and stopped several times to cackle-cry. This was all spurred on by drafting out an animatic to “One Short Day” for young Paulie and Sam.

As it says in the drawing, as someone who’s only watched the play and the movie, I think that Fiyero fits Paulie the best with Sam as Glinda, Tommy as Elphaba, and Salieri as the Wizard. Those are very loose threads I’m connecting on a half-asleep brain but I think they make sense.

(I don’t actually hate Sam I was joking angrily because I can draw him but not PAULIE MY BELOVED AGHHH)

it's also floymar friday so i did an animatic this week! after i rewatched newsies, i couldn't stop thinking about how katherine and jack's dynamic is so similar to floymar, and this song is so floymar. i couldn't help myself 🦈🐡
