I wish I looked deeper into both sides of what I was getting myself involved in when I was opening myself up to the supernatural. What we need to understand is that the spiritual realm consist of "Light" & "Darkness". Jesus says "I am the Light of the world" and Satan is the Father of Lies and the root of all evil. So knowing this will help us to better understand which side we are on. When I was in the new age, I glorified God's creation, instead of the Creator. I believed in the "universe" and "source energy", and treated God as an impersonal force. This left room for a lot of deception to take place. I didn't know that I was calling in "fallen angels" instead of holy angels, or that the spirit guides I was reaching out to were "familiar spirits", otherwise known as demons. I was unfamiliar with what spirits I was truly connecting to and that left me blindsided to the truth. . . Jesus didn't just die for our sins on the cross, but He ROSE BACK TO LIFE 3 DAYS LATER. That means he is ALIVE and a LIVING GOD. He is a God who we can become personally intimate with. He is not just some blob of energy or vast universe, he is a person in the Godhead. Jesus is a God who is interactive and who wants to talk to us. He is the door to the ONE & ONLY True God in Heaven, our Heavenly Father, Yahweh. If you want to know the Father, you must know the Son. This is the only being we should be connecting to in prayer. If you're not talking to Jesus then you are being deceived.
