Because fluoride has to be measured in the parts per million when put in drinking water it's so diluted, numbnuts. The science is overwhelmingly conclusive about the health benefits of water and toothpaste fluoridation. It's about the dose, if you brush your teeth once per day, NOT swallowing the fluoride, then it will have literally no negative effect on your health. It promotes the remineralization, aka, the reinforcement of tooth enamel, the thing you like to have because our teeth don't regrow, it also reduces the rate of demineralization of enamel. Fluoride is only harmful when extreme quantities are ingested, aka, more than two standard tubes of toothpaste in under an hour. Even in that case, it would give you a stomach ache, at most. You would have to consume an ungodly amount of toothpaste for permanent or serious damage to occur to your body. There are no adverse health effects of fluoride in tap water at the current dilution.

If it’s killing a roach, the only pests though to survive a nuclear war, then why is it recommended to go inside a child’s mouth?

Dasha Burns and Alexandra Marquez at NBC News:
Former President Donald Trump said that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would have a “big role in the administration” if he wins on Tuesday, telling NBC News in a phone interview that he was open to some of his more controversial ideas. Kennedy, who ran for president as an independent this year before dropping his bid and endorsing Trump, has long spread conspiracies and falsehoods about vaccines and other public health matters. He has, for example, frequently claimed that vaccines are linked to autism, even though for decades, studies have debunked this theory. Asked Sunday whether banning certain vaccines would be an option during a second term, the former president didn’t rule it out.
“Well I’m going to talk to [Kennedy] and talk to other people, and I’ll make a decision, but he’s a very talented guy and has strong views,” Trump said. Trump declined to talk about specific roles Kennedy might play in his administration, but in recent public appearances, Trump has made clear that he is envisioning a prominent role for him. “He can do anything he wants,” Trump said during an event Thursday in Arizona. He said that Kennedy was “going to work on health and women’s health,” and two sources close to the Trump campaign have told NBC News that he might play a prominent role in battling “chronic childhood disease.” On Friday, Kennedy tweeted that on its first day in office, a Trump administration would push to ban fluoride in water, claiming it is “industrial waste” that leads to problems like cancer and other diseases.
Donald Trump, with the influence of anti-vaxxer extremist RFK Jr. in his orbit increasing, does not rule out a ban on certain vaccines if he is elected.
Stop anti-vaxxer lunacy, vote Kamala Harris!

No stress if you don't want to discuss this given that awful vaccine ask but my parents have been telling me that apparently ADHD can be caused by fluoride. Upon a quick google search, it seems like there's a few studies but an ABA therapy site says something about fluoride causing autism so I'm inclined to be doubtful of both bc yikes. My parents are also very "yeah but if you could cure your ADHD wouldn't you want to to make your life easier?" so again I'm not inclined to trust them on stuff like this.
*sighs*
Hi there,
I specifically said that I did not want asks like this.
However, I will answer yours because your parents sound just as ignorant than that anon.
Firstly, fluoride is found everywhere. It is in your toothpaste to strengthen your teeth, preventing tooth decay, and also making them more resistant to acids (I think this is referring to fruit juice, but please correct me if I’m wrong). But it can have adverse effects if taken in large quantities, which is very unlikely.
Here are some sources about fluoride and how it affects the body:
I hope these sources help educate you and your parents.
Also, the prevention and cure for ADHD to make your life easier sounds ableist as hell. (Not trying to be mean, just upset and angry that people aren’t willing to do their own research)
I hope this helps. And I hope you have a wonderful day/night. ♥️

The US government was recently forced to release a suppressed May 2022 report on the effects of fluoride on kids. The report concluded fluoride can cause neurological damage in children. 🤔

Walter Einenkel at Daily Kos:
Anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will likely become a health czar in Donald Trump’s incoming administration—at least until he’s inevitably fired. Nevertheless, Kennedy has promised to not only investigate vaccines but also get rid of fluoride in our drinking water. “We don’t need fluoride in our water," he told NPR on Wednesday.
Kennedy unveiled this plan in a Nov. 2 post on X, writing, “On January 20, the Trump White House will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water.” But this isn’t just the statement from one of Trump’s allied conspiracy cranks. Trump himself is on board with the idea. “Well, I haven’t talked to [Kennedy] about it yet, but it sounds okay to me. You know, it’s possible,” Trump told NBC News' Dasha Burns. Adding fluoride to water has helped reduce cavities and tooth decay in children and adults, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That saves families money on dental care. And the vast majority of research shows very little evidence of anything besides benefits for children, though there may be some risks for pregnant women of ingesting too much fluoride. The World Health Organization, American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, and others have long supported the practice.
Anti-vaxxer crank RFK Jr.’s plan to remove fluoride out of water is cuckoo.
