The Avengers are broken. The X-Men scattered to the wind. SHIELD has been lain low by infighting and HYDRA wears the Office of National Emergencies like a second skin. A new group of heroes rises up to Defend those who can't defend themselves, and a new, Sinister Syndicate of villains come together to chase their own ends. Meanwhile, a plucky group of mutant upstarts both above and below ground continue to fend off the smoking wreck of SHIELD, reforged into a new Agency with One unified goal - bringing superhumans under the yoke of government control.

History: Born into an off shoot of the Bathory clan in 1724 in a small village north of Palhaza to a mutant mother and human father Drucilla's mutation didn't show itself until her mid teens when a horseback riding accident claimed her life.

Or so everyone thought.

Waking up a few days after her funeral in the family crypt filled with a hunger more intense than anything she'd ever felt before along with enhanced senses and the ability to transform her body into a black mist.

Turns out vampire's weren't myth or montsters but a mutation passed through the generations.

Also turns out that the people of her village had an issue with someone seemly coming back from the dead.

After being chased out of her village, literally chased with torches and pitch forks, by an angry mob the young mutant tralved Europe suriving on the blood of animal's and the occasional criminal. As the years passed not only was she able to heal from any wound she but she aged so slowly that for every decade that passed she barely appeared to have aged a year. Drusilla's other abilities also grew over the years not only could she turn into mist but a flock of bats, emotion & aura manipulation, enhanced strength & agility, and prey animal manipulation & animal empathy. These powers were all considerably stronger when Drusilla was able to consume human blood but she prefers animal and the synthetic blood that Hank had developed when she joined the Institute. She finds her hunger is near insatiable after using her powers and is honestly terrifed that she won't be able to stop herself in time before the person died.

More background will be added as I am able to find out more about her as we play.
