#my art #lethal company #masked #oc: buddy #asks #churchydragon #I feel like I've been on one of those 'rapid bouts of improvement' in terms of art style #switched to a new brush that has the same sketchy feel as the old one but is aliased. different brushes for different textures #started copy+pasting lines down into a layer for colors and it's made coloring easier . more fun to render #I know Buddy's design is just. a regular masked. therefore like 85% a regular employee. but it's very fun to draw #in earlier art of Buddy you can definitely see how I changed the shape of its crown from the game-typical mask shape-#-to the kind of pointed shape now . not sure when or why it happened but. it has been given some grandeur. some flavor #a quirk of time and art style

Part 5 of my MLP Magicalverse Mane 6 redesigns! Applejack is the second to last of the series!

Applejack is the tallest of the Mane 6 because of course XD

AJ possesses her dad's hat and her mom's bandana. They were passed down to her before their...death? Disappearance? Even the Apple Family doesn't know either :(

After the events of Friendship is Magic Parts 1-2 and rediscovering earth pony magic thanks to Twilight Dusk and her friends, AJ is trying to use it to benefit the apple farm more, but she finds out that it can get out of control for her. She would rather stick to her old traditional ways of apple-bucking...Don't worry, AJ still gets to use her earth pony magic abilities in case of high-stake emergencies.

#gu6chan's musings #jumping for joy and clicking my heels rn #drawing other ppls characters is SO much fun largely because it's such a change in perspective like #other ppl have different methods of making art (medium; brushes; colours; colouring techniques; etc) which impact GREATLY not just the #'style' of an artist but ALSO the design of the character themselves (i.e. a lot of my older characters or older VERSIONS of characters had #curlier hair and looked like they were out of a 70's manga bc i had a dull pencil and paper when i made them - i tried adapting one of those #older designs to digital and the amount of detail that was so easy just flicking a pencil around was psychically PAINFUL trying to pull off #digitally :') ill have to share the result tho....)#but anyways; all that said its SUCH a fun study looking not only into what makes a character for other ppl but kinda... unearthing that #inner thought process and almost having to try and compromise a bit in trying to adapt that character to your OWN style without it becoming #well.... a completely new guy lmao #EVEN SO!!! LEMME KNOW WHICH ONE TO DRAW AND I WILL DO IT 🫡 you are in good hands....

hi guys!

just wanted to post a little update because I've been struggling

I have had so many ideas recently and I think I'm getting overwhelmed by them or I don't have rhe motivation to do them or idk where to start. It's something but im stressed lol

On the bright side of that I have a lot of new things in store! New ocs, new story ideas, and new drawing ideas for fanart and for my ocs. For pride I want to draw all of my ocs with their flags and such. I have the poses figured out and everything!

And of course I'm still working on asks and other wips I have (Which is a lot if wips)

Ive just been feeling so creative and so uncreative at the same time recently so I haven't been able to do much. AND I've been worried about my cuphead to other stuff ratio rn tbh, but its fine. I've never drawn any fandom stuff for this long before it's insane

Just wanted to let everyone know I had a lot in progress and a lot to share soon! But I just havent felt up to much. Sorry guys
