Fr tho I'm super flattered, and also I'M SO SORRY it took me so incredibly long to reply to this. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to draw this for a long time but I hope this is somewhat useful to you..

We will be using this random doodle of Bunny-Eiko because I had it lying around and I thought she could use some shading. Ironically I'm not proud of the end result, but no matter how many times I redid it it just wasn't looking right and I didn't want to go back and do the whole process again from the beginning with another drawing so-

Honestly there isn't much more I can say about it. The colour I use for both shading and hair shines also depends on what sort of atmosphere I want the drawing to have, but for basic shading like this, I just go for desaturated pale colours I guess lol.

Tbh my shading style isn't all that precise, I mostly just do whatever I think looks good. I hope this was still useful to you though! And again oh my lord I'm so sorry it took me so long to reply. I am not beating the procastinator allegations.

In short: there is no secret! I bullshit my way through shading and every time I draw my life is in the hands of my beloved blender tool I adopted from the Clip Studio Paint store. It's called the White Blender. This whole post is White Blender propaganda.
