Ermmm my idea is that 🤓☝️ Mizu was a lot worse at communication back then and had that avoidant attachment style which didn’t mix well with Kayo’s anxious attachment so they broke it off but Kayo would lowkey try “rekindling” that spark the more Cheshire got all 3 of them to hang out more

Kayo like Cheshire, but in a way where you’d like a dog. Cute, fluffy, easy to please and just over all very happy but since she’s so use to the bitter silence between Mizu and her she lowkey falls back into old habits

Not that Kayo doesn’t at least obviously have feelings for Cheshire she obviously do 😭😭😭😭 Cheshire made her felt so loved and seen compared to how her and Mizu were years ago but she literally has no clue what to do with it she just goes “Omg she actually shows that she wants me and values me….wtf is this 🧍‍♀️” KNXOSJSKSMS

TLDR: Kayo needs to see a therapist and make amends with Mizu before finally being able to heal and start officially dating Cheshire

inspired by @where-does-the-heart-lie and given courage by @wolf-eared-fangirl and their own wonderful rendition of the asl kpop au.

i got inspired a whole lot by the notes and artworks from whery but also tried to make it my own by making it increasingly impossible realistically. one of those it’s a fanfic and i can make anything possible vibes.

all of these are just concept notes and ideas i was able to keep down for the past what? two months or so? there are a lot more wips and ideas, and i wanted to see if there was anyone who wanted to bump brains with me or was willing to indulge seeing my messy thoughts/notes.

i made law important because i am obsessed with not only asl but him too. no escape from the brain worms, really. even if he doesn’t really pop up in a lot of my current wips for this au…

i should make storyboards but my brain has latched to grps like exo or atz for like. clothes inspo. i have multiple concert wips that needed me to make an entire fake asl concert setlist so that was fun, considering how i ended up adding eng and jp songs… i cannot contain myself and have been repeatedly editing everything I have on this for months ,,,

You guys really seemed to like this idea, huh? Well, here it is!

Introducing the Runaway Godkid AU!

Following the events for “The Battle of Big Wand”, after Peri told Dev that he really does care about him, something inside him…clicked. He never wanted this. This whole thing with Irep was just one big power trip, and he was too dumb to realize it. As it slowly sets in, Dev throws the key to the throne at Peri (+ Cosmo and Wanda) and runs away.

Irep noticed this and asked him where he was going, to which Dev replied, ”I can’t do this anymore..” (more under the cut nyehehehe)

Irep lost his cool and started yelling at Dev about how he had betrayed him, and tried to use his magic on him. Dev narrowly dodged it but broke his sunglasses, so he grabbed them and ran as far as his little 10 year old legs could take him. He didn’t have a place in mind, but just wanted to get as far away as possible. He eventually ended up at the Star Dome, and decided that if he was going to be a runaway, he'd need a wand

So he built one. He secured the star with duct tape and clenched the wand as he started to run again. By this time, Hazel and her friends would have already found Cosmo, Wanda and Peri, and were on their way to the Big Wand. The events with Hazel powering it are unaffected in this AU, but after she returns to Jorgen's office, she finds out that Dev is gone (Dale couldn’t give any less of a fuck, sorry folks)

Dev, meanwhile, used his newfound magic to create a hidden base under some rocks so he could hide. He ditched his iconic white jacket so nobody would be able to recognize him by it, and every time someone found him while he was trying to grab food or something like that, he'd run back to base (essentially leaving his clothes ripped and leaving a few scars on his body)

His clothes became extremely dirty and his hair became messy, leaving the kid unrecognizable. Which is what he wanted, right? That is..until he starts to remember Peri. It hurts...but he can’t face him right now. He can’t face anyone right now

Does anyone else think about DILF!Stiles and high school senior/college student!Derek who’s friends with Stiles’ son Eli and goes to his house for whatever reason and just. Falls madly in lust with Eli’s hot dad. And Stiles being all friendly at first until he realizes he’s starting to really like Derek so he tries to put some distance between them, because this is Eli’s friend, he could literally be his son and Stiles won’t be that dad. Only Derek is also kind of falling in love with Stiles and he doesn’t know what to do because it’s one thing to think your friend’s dad is hot and another one altogether to actually want to hold his hand and go on dates with him. And they’re both really torn over it, wanting to be closer and thinking the other one doesn’t reciprocate, not to mention what Eli would think. Only Eli definitely knows and it’s shaking his head at their dumbassery.

thinking about the boatem circus au and...yeah, i totally forgot that it's implied that the watchers set fire to the circus..............i can't imagine the GUILT grian feels if/when he finds out.........maybe he thinks that he should have just sucked it up and stayed with the watchers because if he had then at least the only one being hurt would be himself, not other lost and vulnerable hybrids........

okay you have nO IDEA how much this made me think of hhau grian actually. for, uh, reasons.

anyway, i think if the boatem circus folk found out, they'd get even more protective over grian. pointing out that it's not his fault; that he's not guilty of this crime, but the people who set those flames, knowingly. that the cruelty doesn't come from grian's hands and it's not his fault that it follows in his footsteps.

grian would still feel guilty, absolutely devastated that scar's wonderful circus burned to the ground because of shadows of grian's past... but i think he couldn't stand the thought of never leaving that awful place. even if it'd prevent this from happening to the others. is it selfish? maybe.

i don't think i should've never left is a thought that he has. but it's not like he wants anyone else to get hurt either! it's complicated!

also gonna ramble a little about my crossover au I've been obsessing over for ages, since I'm working on some art for it right now...

I'm Doing It Scared though so under the cut it goes !

okay so. it's a crossover of omori, yume nikki, yume 2kki, and .flow! yay!! fucked up dreamers!!!

I'm really happy with it though because of the worldbuilding I've had to piece together using stuff from all the games, and I'd say how dream worlds work in this au is pretty neat...

anyway, since omori is the only game with a clear story, for the other 3 I just picked some themes from the games and theories I like that I thought would work well together, and I think I did a decent enough job to make Madotsuki's, Urotsuki's, and Sabitsuki's stories in this au pretty interesting!

okay now for a simple summary: it takes place after the good ending, a bit after Sunny's moved and settled in a little in his new house. Sunny could say he's doing better, but that leaves out the fact he's still struggling to reach out and open up. until one night he ends up on a balcony instead of white space.

after learning he's not the only dreamer out there, Sunny makes it his mission to find and help as many as he can! helping others like him counts as helping himself, right? (spoiler: wrong <3)

one last thing, I do eventually want to throw in more yume nikki fangames because I think it'd be even more fun. whole family of mentally ill dreamers yay <3

A few weeks ago I was chatting with some friends about Chronicles of Narnia, and eventually the conversation pivoted to be about the botch that was The Last Battle. And with the Dungeon Meshi anime having recently gotten to Mithrun, it gave me an idea for a sort of crossover AU. (Spoilers for the manga under the cut for anime-only watchers)

The idea is that a long time ago, the Pevensie siblings were playing in the woods and discovered an out of place lamppost. And nearby they stumbled across the entrance of a dungeon, ruled by its Dungeon Lord the White Witch who used terrifying ice and petrification magic. This dungeon's incarnation of the Demon was a Lion, and the Lion recognized that children's desires are powerful and many, as well as having minds and hearts that are easily manipulated and molded. And so the Lion aided the Pevensie siblings in overthrowing the White Witch, and the four of them became co-Dungeon Lords. Their desires transforming the dungeon into a whimsical underground kingdom filled with talking monsters, and the siblings grew up together down there with their "subjects". Until adventurers also discovered the dungeon, and through a series of tragic events, one by one each of the Dungeon Lords were defeated until only Susan remained. Barricading herself deep within the lowest reaches of the dungeon, she realizes how the Lion had manipulated her and her siblings. Susan then makes another discovery: that the White Witch's magic wasn't two different types of magic, it was one. Entropy. Consuming heat and life from living things around her to create ice, and living things that were completely drained becoming completely inert like stone. And Entropy is the enemy of Infinity. An enemy of the Lion. So Susan pours herself into the study of the White Witch's magic, and takes up the mantle herself. Now filled with a new desire to freeze over every dungeon she finds, to consume all the life energy and mana within to try and starve out the Lion. Susan surrenders herself to the Canaries, and Mithrun actually allows her to join despite the fact she is a tallman since he simply views her as a useful tool for his own desire of killing the Demon. The other Canaries are annoyed not just because she's a tallman, but also because thanks to her magic it is constantly cold around her and they have to wear winter coats everywhere they go. Except Lycion, he's pretty chill with Susan since he can grow his own fur coat whenever he wants.

Okay so I was discussing this with one of my friends earlier and I wanna ask... Have any of y'all like— Actually ACTUALLY wondered how these "Revert AU's” would work? Specifically with the Murder Time Trio n all...

"What's a Revert AU? What's it like?" Well if you ask me, I sorta assume it's when the AT/AU returns back to normal (or at least, the closest it can get to regular Undertale), where the bad things that made that specific universe how it is gets fixed due to specific scenarios or events that happened.

I kinda wanna ramble about a Something New Revert timeline rn but I'll yap a bit first hbsjsbdns

If we follow the canon, then realistically there is no way in hell a Revert AU would be possible for Horrortale UNLESS some big miracle happens. There would need to be a very specific line of fortunate events seeing as— well... How messed up everything is.

Dusttale on the other hand would be a lot more possible if we assume the player finally decides to give up. It would be a long process, but it's honestly possible. Murder would've already fallen into the routine of killing everyone before the player catches up, but imagine... Waiting in the corridor or hiding somewhere so that you can ambush the player, but they just— never arrive. And when you try to check where they are, they're simply at the beginning of the game, laying there, doing nothing. Yeah, sure, Murds would definitely kill them the first few times this happens but wouldn't he at least be a little bit intrigued by this change of behavior?

OKAY UHM MOVING ON... I'll rant about a Revert Dusttale au later but what about Something New? What about Killer? How would that work? How would Killer handle it? Well, lemme tell you this pal. I genuinely do believe that this is possible.

If we follow the canon events of the timeline, then I'm sure you'll know that by the end of it, Killer would get interrupted and kidnapped by Nightmare either way whether he'd like it or not, and even if Nm didn't interrupt, then Killer would've already deleted himself from his AT longgggg ago. BUT, what about that timeline where Color saves Killer, taking him away from Nm's grasp? The Revert timeline could always start from there.

Imagine being Killer's Papyrus, still searching for your brother for probably years ever since he disappeared on the day he says goodbye? Imagine finding him again, returned but different, in a way. But you couldn't care less. He's still alive even after all these years and you genuinely couldn't care about finding out where'd he'd been this entire time that you can't help but embrace him in your arms, choked sobs escaping from the both of you as you ignored the stares and gazes from everyone around you. And honestly, none of them probably cared because they're equally as happy as you are. "Sans" was finally back.

Color likely helped (and accompanied) Killer to return to his timeline, despite his hesitation.

Killer would definitely have a difficult time adapting to this new life. And oh boy— Papyrus couldn't be more concerned for him ESPECIALLY with all the trauma he's endured for all these years😭

Imagine Papyrus getting him a bottle of ketchup, maybe even multiple of them as a treat for Killer because he thinks he deserves it, only for Killer to just... Back away, visibly trembling from just the sight of the bottle alone. Imagine cooking him spaghetti, wanting to show how much you've improved your cooking skills and trying to get your brother to at least eat something, only for him to just stare at it, breathing heavily as his entire body trembles from even just the smell. He looked like he was about to puke, and ultimately you decided to go with something simple for him instead, like a bowl of warm soup.

Imagine having to feed him yourself because his fingers won't stop shaking every time he picks up the spoon. You listened as he kept mumbling apologies when you grabbed a handkerchief to wipe the spilled contents. You notice how he seems to be out of touch with reality when you bring up the spoon towards his mouth, having to wait a second or two before he finally accepts the food.

Imagine having to bring your brother to your bedroom instead of his because he kept refusing to go to his own, to the point where he was begging not to. And when you do let him sleep in your bed with you, you keep waking up due to him having nightmares or having a breakdown in the middle of the night. But you don't mind comforting him, sitting with him as you let him cry on your chest, as long as you're able to help him in some way.

And oh boy, I haven't even started on how the others would react to Killer.

Like how Grillby would notice how Killer rarely ever visits. And even if he did, he would either not eat at all or order literally anything BUT his usual. Undyne, Alphys and the other would literally notice how Killer became extremely clingy to Papyrus, rarely ever seeing them separated (which is pretty understandable considering how long they haven't seen each other for...). Imagine how off putting it is going for an entire day without hearing a pun, and whenever he finally does make one, you can't help but feel a little glad.

Color definitely visits Killer on a daily basis to check on him and accompany him for a while. The others would definitely question how they knew each other or where Color came from, and the two would just brush it off like it always has been like that. Although they definitely don't mind letting Color stay for a bit since he and Killer are close. (And because he's the closest to a therapist that they can afford right now)

How would they react to the existence of Killer's other stages though? And how would the underground change ever since Killer's absence?
