Trying to understand the volume of Pit's hair

Something that I've always struggled with is Pit's hair. The first time I drew him I was like wtffff how do I draw this anime boy's hair?

You know, something I've learnt from all these years drawing is the importance of basic shapes and volumes. That's something I need to improve, and I'm starting with Pit's hair (WICH I NEVER UNDERSTOOD)✨ I tried to use the 3D model as a reference, such as amazing Surachi's art and made this sketch! I think it's decent, isn't it? Let me know in the comments. I would like to draw Pit and Dark Pit more with this kind of hair >:)
