The real tragedy of Dead Boy Detectives is that it deserved to be a cable show made at least ten years ago. Just imagine a 20 episode season with legitimate monster-of-the-week, "filler" episodes, and time for every character to shine.

I am, once again, here to say that I NEED aromantic/asexual Eloise Bridgerton to be canon. I know it's not book canon but we know the show is taking a different turn with Francesca and Benedict, so I hope we get to see Eloise realising she does not wish to marry.

I love how every single time, without fail, that I have a random thought about a cool show I watched on Netflix where I’m like “Oh yeah, I remember that show. It was pretty good. When’s the next season coming out?” and the answer every single time is: “It was cancelled.”

I just found out The Irregulars isn’t getting a season 2, despite season 1 having done pretty well. Probably old news for most, but it just popped into my head and I’m like let me look it up. CUE MY COMPLETE LACK OF SURPRISE to find out it was cancelled.

Netflix really is the fucking worst streaming platform, bar none. So far both Hulu and Amazon have only cancelled one show that I liked, whereas Netflix has cancelled like twenty at least by now. I have zero interest in getting involved in anything that isn’t a guaranteed hit or a one-off because they’re just gonna cancel it.

maurice leblanc was like. what if johnlock but they only plan jewel and art heists together and dress in outrageous disguises every single time. the genius one fakes his death but the friend actually helps him do it and they still hang out while he's supposed to be dead and they have so much fun together. and this netflix team was like awesome. we're serving this with bbc sherlock aesthetics. we're casting the most beautiful and charming man on earth. he's black and senegalese and all the heists are gleefully duping white french colonizers and robbing them of their blood diamonds. and that's what you missed on lupin!
