My apologies to the hard working, unfairly treated, writers, directors, cast and crew but I am not exaggerating when I say I am one more cancelation from not being willing to start any more new shows. I can't keep getting attached to these characters and excited to see their stories only for them to canceled after one or two seasons and never be told. Especially when most of them only get eight episodes or less. I wouldn't mind short seasons if I got a complete story but that rarely happens anymore.

I love how every single time, without fail, that I have a random thought about a cool show I watched on Netflix where I’m like “Oh yeah, I remember that show. It was pretty good. When’s the next season coming out?” and the answer every single time is: “It was cancelled.”

I just found out The Irregulars isn’t getting a season 2, despite season 1 having done pretty well. Probably old news for most, but it just popped into my head and I’m like let me look it up. CUE MY COMPLETE LACK OF SURPRISE to find out it was cancelled.

Netflix really is the fucking worst streaming platform, bar none. So far both Hulu and Amazon have only cancelled one show that I liked, whereas Netflix has cancelled like twenty at least by now. I have zero interest in getting involved in anything that isn’t a guaranteed hit or a one-off because they’re just gonna cancel it.

We all know that Netflix loves to cancel queer shows, but they lowkey hide their queers

Like a few months ago I was looking for something to watch and stumbled onto October Faction. Great show, I highly recommend it, even with 1 season, but I watched the trailer first as one does. Our 2 main characters are twins, and the trailer showed Viv making out with a guy. Her brother wasn't seen with a love interest.

So I watch the show thinking this girl was gonna have a boyfriend but no they literally kissed once and the guy sucks. Geoff, the other twin, is clearly stated to be gay from the start. He has a romantic subplot with a guy and it's important for the plot.

It's a supernatural show and not romance focused but their relationship is important, why was this never advertised? Again, it's not a queer show, but you'd think Netflix would love to parade with queer characters.

It's silly but I've been thinking about this for months

I am going to kill the CEO of Netflix and anyone involved in the decision to cancel all the Great shows usually after just one season.

I will flay his skin from his bones whilst he's still alive and then force him to finance every season of every show that needs one because frankly I'm sick of it and the price of betrayal is blood at this point.
