The Matildas are through to the World Cup semi-finals!!!
This is the first time any Australian team has made it this far in a football (soccer) world cup!! And omg that penalty shoot out was heart stopping!!
Also, it has been amazing to see all of Australia get behind a female sports team, outside of something like the Olympics. People will literally say "Are you watching the game tonight?" and mean women's sport 😍
We should all still remember that the Diamonds literally won their 12th World Cup the other day though, and they don't even get prize money 🫤 Congratulations to the Diamonds!! 🎉

Okay, I think the best thing for Reece Walsh to do now is turn up to his next match (Origin II) with painted nails.
